Thankfully Levy was able to avoid any of Gajeel's further antics after the bell rang for the end of class. That was until later during Lunch when he sat with her and her group of friends again. While she would have preferred to keep the fact that she was going over his house later a secret, this proved to be unavoidable.

"So guess who's dying to come to my place later? I'll give you a hint, she has blue hair"

"LEVY!?" the whole table nearly screamed in shock, this was not the Levy they knew!

"Just to take care of his cat" she said barely over a whisper, embarrassed, trying to become even smaller then she normally was. Can't everyone just not overreact for once? Is that too much to ask for?

A collective sigh of relief was heard, then Lucy spoke "Typical Levy, caring for those in need. What kind of cat is it Gajeel?"

"A bad ass black and white one"

"Bad ass? What makes a cat bad ass?" Erza questioned, asking what everyone else at the table was thinking.

"He screwed up three other cats like twice his size, even has a battle scar to prove it"

"And that's when you decided to take him in?" Erza continued

"Well yeah, of course, something that awesome is good enough to be my pet"

Erza looks over to Lucy who nods in silent agreement of Gajeel's weirdness.

In an attempt to tune everyone out Levy was studying up on her English project requirements. If I'm going to lie to my dad about worrying over it i might as well figure out what there is to worry about. However her concentration was broken abruptly when someone forcefully pulled her to them.

"So yeah Shrimp's ganna be spending some good quality time with me later"

Levy scoffed and tried to push on Gajeel to release his hold on her. This however proved to be futile as he outclassed her in every department physically. With an obvious sigh of annoyance, still in his grip, she pulls her books closer towards her to continue reading up on her assignment. Yet again Gajeel interrupts her from her thoughts.

"Don't you have something better to do then read about English crap?"

"Your in my English class you should care about this "crap" since its a group project" she replies aggravatedly. I'll be amazed if anyone even agrees to be your partner.

A light giggle/cackle came from the other side of the lunch table. When Levy looked up to see what the source of the sound was she saw the face of Mirajane obviously scheming, something that was never a good sign.

"You and Gajeel should partner up Levy, and then you can check up on his cat when you come over to work on the project!"

"Heh heh I like the sound of that, don't you Shortstack? So it's decided then"

Oh darn it, why does stuff like this always happen to me? It was just going to be a one time thing! Levy sighs in defeat not trying to argue the point now, she'd try and figure a way out of it later but knowing her friends they'd be constantly asking about it anyway, what's the use?

For the second time that day Levy was thankful for the bell ring signaling the end of the period letting her get away from the craziness of the table's antics, for a little bit at least. However she had momentarily forgotten that Lucy was in Science class with her next and then groaned in frustration.

Gajeel was very excited for Lunch that day, not only to continue exploring the amazing selection of food available but for something even better as well. Getting Levy's friends to do the work for him in getting them together so that she could be his and his alone to play with.

"So guess who's dying to come to my place later? I'll give you a hint, she has blue hair" Gajeel told the table when he approached, a smile on his face.

"LEVY!?"

"Just to take care of his cat"

As he sat down at the table next to his future girl the blond girl from the other day spoke.

"Typical Levy, caring for those in need. What kind of cat is it Gajeel?"

"A bad ass black and white one" he replied with obvious pride in his voice.

"Bad ass? What makes a cat bad ass?" some red head had questioned him.

"He screwed up three other cats like twice his size, even has a battle scar to prove it" What else would make his bad ass other than kicking butt and taking names?

"And that's when you decided to take him in?" the lady continued.

"Well yeah, of course, something that awesome is good enough to be my pet" then huffs as if to say that this was obvious criteria.

Gajeel ignored the red head after that and decided to have some fun with his plaything. He pulls her in close and says loud enough for everyone to hear "So yeah Shrimp's ganna be spending some good quality time with me later"

He heard the girl scoff and then felt her try to push him away but he wasn't done having fun with her yet and didn't let up on her. Not that even if he had would she have been able to get away unless he moved to allow her to do so. He smiles at her sigh of annoyance realizing that there's no escape then looks to see what she's up to. "Don't you have something better to do then read about English crap?"

"Your in my English class you should care about this "crap" since its a group project"

Before he got the chance to make a remark Gajeel hears a weird sound coming from the other side of the lunch table. Looking over to see what it was he sees the face of some white haired girl with a dark look on her face. Little did he know Gajeel would come to fear this face.

"You and Gajeel should partner up Levy, and then you can check up on his cat when you come over to work on the project!" the girl says with a wide smile on her face.

"Heh heh I like the sound of that, don't you Shortstack? So it's decided then" Well, this is going to be easier than I thought. The thought of her having to spend more time with him over the excuse of the project was wonderful. It's only a matter of time now before I can really make her mine.
