A/N: I had to split this chapter too; it was just getting too huge as I wrote it. Don't worry, I've got most of the next part done so it won't be as long to wait for the next update.

Disclaimer: Hiro Mashima owns the awesomeness that is Fairy Tail.

Lisanna was relieved that Natsu was finally back. It meant that Lucy would go back to her old self. It was just too unnerving having her mope around the guild, snapping at anybody who tried to talk to her, yet not following it up with any violence. In these few weeks that Natsu had been gone, not once did Lucy get into a fist fight with Levy or Juvia. Now things could get back to normal.

She hoped that Natsu had succeeded in his mission. If he didn't they were all going to be in deep, deep trouble.

Something was bothering her though. She hadn't heard his car park in the storeroom. Maybe he met with trouble and had to leave his car behind. Maybe that's why it took so long to get back. She went out into the guild hall to see if that was the case.

Two things caught her attention. Lucy was already torturing a strangely dressed Natsu, and Jet and Droy had been picking on her brother again. Natsu's mode of dress was another confirmation in her mind that he met with trouble on his mission. He would never in a million years part with his goggles willingly. They had been his father's and he didn't let anyone wear them—not even Lucy. Or at least she didn't wear them where everyone else could see.

She sighed internally that she would have to scold some people today. She would've thought that by now Lucy could greet Natsu civilly, especially since she had been so upset by his leaving. Why can't she treat him like a normal girlfriend would?

And then there was Jet and Droy harassing her brother. Again. So what if he had screwed up their last mission and Mira-nee and herself had had to save him? He always tried his best! She was tired of them picking on him just because he wasn't as competent as them. But first things first. She needed to stop Lucy before she really got into it and hurt Natsu.

"There you go, bullying Natsu again." She reprimanded Lucy. "Stop it already!" Turning her attention to Jet and Droy, she scolded them as well. "Also, Jet and Droy, stop picking on Elf-nii-chan!"

And then something completely unexpected happened. Natsu and some small, strangely-dressed creature leaped at her screaming 'Lisanna!', causing her to flinch and squeal in fright as she awaited the collision to come. It never did. Instead, Lucy intercepted the duo with a kick to their heads, screaming out "Stop that!"

Lisanna's heart was racing. What the heck was that all about? Natsu Dragion would never greet anyone that way, let alone her. Did he hit his head and change his personality or something? Lucy started berating Natsu for acting like a savage beast and Gray, surely not wanting to see Natsu get another beat down, steered Natsu over to a table 'catch up'. Natsu had been gone much longer than expected after all and everyone had been wondering where he's been all this time.

Meanwhile, Lisanna noticed there was a little girl in the guild that she had never seen before, although there was something oddly familiar about her. Then she noticed the cats—wait no, those were exceeds! What were exceeds doing in here? Whoever was on guard duty was seriously slacking on the job today. Wait, why was Natsu talking to that exceed? He was a true believer in that the queen of the exceeds could kill you if she wished it. He would never in a million years go anywhere near an exceed.

And then it all clicked. Natsu? Is that the Natsu that I knew and grew up with? And is that exceed nearby, Happy? My Natsu and Happy?

Lisanna didn't have long to reflect on this when the guard on duty ran into the guild.

"It's the Fairy Hunters!" he shouted.

Lucy and Levy sprung into action. The first thing Lucy did was stop the exceeds, who looked like they were trying to leave the guild. Everyone else started to panic while Lucy yelled (none too politely) at Levy to hurry it up and get them out there already. Levy (equally impolitely) shouted back at Lucy as she worked the controls for the transport field. Before long, everything shook familiarly as the guild began its transport to another part of Edolas.

When everything was settled, Lisanna quickly checked on Elfman. He freaked out every time they transported, so comforting him afterward was now second nature. Lucy and Levy were arguing like usual about the speed of the transport. They looked about ready for an all-out brawl, so all was back to normal there.

She then noticed that Natsu, the little girl who she now realized looked like a younger version of Wendy, and the exceeds looked extremely confused and disoriented like they had never transported before. Are her suspicions correct? That is Earthland Natsu, isn't it? She backed away and partially concealed herself behind a pillar as Mirajane questioned Natsu about why he was acting different.

After a few questions and answers between them, Natsu stood up on the table and attempted to get the attention of the guild. Attempted to because about half the guild was still panicking about how Erza almost caught them while the other half was watching Lucy and Levy's fist fight.

Natsu made another attempt, shouting out "Oi!" fairly loudly. It was too bad for him that Lucy and Levy's fight was even louder.

It was his third attempt, a shockingly high pitched whistle that finally caught everyone's attention. They all stared in surprise that it was Natsu, of all people, who had made that ear-splitting noise. The only thing more shocking would have been if he had jumped into the fight and broke it up himself. Lisanna was actually surprised that he didn't do that very thing.

Everyone's eyes finally on him, regarding him with a mixture of shock and amazement, Natsu began his speech. Most of everything he said, Lisanna already knew. He was from another world called Earthland where there was also a wizard's guild called Fairy Tail. Almost everyone here had a counterpart there (did she detect a hint of sadness when he said that?) including an Erza that was a member of Fairy Tail. This drew incredulous gasps from the crowd.

Then the white exceed explained that their whole city, including their guild, got sucked into this world by something called anima to be turned into magical power by the kingdom. Lisanna knew, just like everyone else in the Edolas guild, that everyone must have been transformed into lacrima somehow.

So that must be how I ended up here two years ago, but why wasn't I also turned into a lacrima? Lisanna wondered, happy at finally solving part of that mystery, but also disappointed that some parts were still unknown.

The unfamiliar exceed finished by saying that the four of them had been immune to the anima's effects and they came here to save their friends.

Then came the questions from the Edolas wizards. Jet and Droy seemed particularly hesitant to believe in the story. They had had far too many run-ins with Erza Knightwalker to outright believe that she was an ally on Earthland. When Natsu and mini-Wendy asked for directions to the capitol, many people tried to dissuade them of that idea. Natsu would have none of that though. He shouted, almost in anger "I'm going out to save my friends. And I won't let anything stop me!"

At the same time, the blue exceed took off its helmet, prompting Mira to comment that he looked like an exceed and Elfman to to say that there would be no way that an exceed would be here. Lisanna, however, knew the truth. That was most definitely an exceed. An exceed that she helped hatch out of an egg six years ago. An exceed named Happy.

She couldn't take it anymore. She ran out of the guild hall. Her thoughts were a mass of emotional confusion. That was Natsu and Happy! She should go with and help them save the rest of the guild. She could see her real sister and brother again! But they've lived two years without her, accepting that she was dead and lost to them. The Mira and Elfman here in Edolas haven't had to accept their sister's death. She couldn't do it. She needed to stay. She couldn't bear to make Mira-nee and Elf-nii-chan sad again. She would stay with them, here in Edolas.

Lisanna didn't know how long she stayed there, curled up in a ball and crying her eyes out. Eventually though, she picked herself up, dried her tear-stained face, and walked back into the guild hall. There was no sign of the Earthland Natsu, Wendy, Happy, or the other exceed. Lisanna guessed someone must have relented and gave them directions to the capitol, like they wanted. Lisanna said a little prayer in her head, wishing Natsu luck. She knew that with his dragon-slaying magic and his determination, he would succeed in his endeavor or die trying. And she wouldn't allow herself to think about him dying.

Mira-nee and Elf-nii-chan were at their customary places at the bar. She headed toward them. Everyone she passed by talked about only one thing: Earthland Natsu and Wendy. How she managed to make it to the bar without breaking down, she didn't know. Lucy sat at one of the stools there, nursing a beer, a pensive expression adorning her face.

"Well, there you are, Lisanna!" her sister cheerily greeted "We've been wondering where you went off to."

"You missed Natsu and Wendy leaving." Elfman said "I can't believe they're really going to the capitol to find their friends."

"I can't believe there actually exists a Natsu that isn't a scared little cry-baby." Jet added as he joined them at the bar. "Maybe your Earthland self doesn't cry all the time either." he said pointedly to Elfman, who looked away in shame.

"Perhaps that means that you and Droy are the ones that mess up and cry all the time on Earthland." Lisanna quipped, leaving Jet speechless.

"Argh!" Lucy yelled suddenly, scaring the crap out of everyone nearby. "I just realized those morons left here without any fucking weapons! They're going to get themselves killed before they even get to Louen!" Lucy then dashed upstairs. In a few minutes, she ran back down, magic whip at her side.

"Levy!" she barked "You're in charge while I'm gone. I promise I'll be back soon." And with that she quickly ran out the guild doors.

Everyone tried to go back to normal, but it was no use. Having Fairy Tail members from an alternate dimension in the guild had just been too exciting. The Edolas mages even started contemplating what their counterparts must be like. Some even attempted impersonations of their imagined alternate selves. It was amusing to Lisanna to see how 'off' or 'on' some of the impersonations were. Her favorites were when Mira-nee tried to act all mean and scary (and failed miserably at it) and when Jet and Droy hugged each other fake-crying for Levy to save them. Levy, however, was more likely to kill them for annoying her so often with their act by the end of the day.

The next day passed with nary a sign of Lucy Ashley. Some conjectured that she would go on to help Earthland Natsu—since she couldn't help Natsu Dragion, helping his doppelganger was the next best thing. Others thought that she would take this opportunity to find where their Natsu had been hiding himself and kick his ass for being gone for so long.

Whatever Lucy's motivations, Lisanna was just glad that she had followed the Earthland wizards. She was sure with Lucy there, he was in good hands.

On the third day, Levy received another letter from her contact in the capitol, which she promptly shared with the rest of the guild. In it he let everyone know that there was a humungous lacrima in the capitol that would apparently give Edolas magic power for ten years. He also mentioned that the city was crawling with troops, warning them that the kingdom was planning something big.

For the first time since Earthland Natsu had departed from the guild, Lisanna feared for her Earthland friends. How could two wizards and two exceeds defeat all the soldiers of Edolas, their four commanders, and the king himself before it was too late? It was the longest, most miserable day of her life.

Consequently, Lisanna didn't sleep well that night. She kept on having disturbing dreams in which she witnessed Mira and Elfman being turned into lacrima and then subsequently being chopped up and used to power magical weapons which were then used to kill the other Mira and Elfman. It was a relief when the day finally dawned and she could get up out of bed.

For an hour or so she busied herself with cleaning and organizing while telling herself that everything would be okay. Natsu was already pretty strong two years ago, surely he'd only gotten stronger, right? She wondered what Wendy's magic was and how it compared to Natsu's. Would it be enough? All she could do was hope.

Eventually, everyone else started making their way downstairs, ready to begin the day. She was helping Mira-nee cook breakfast when she heard it. The unmistakable loud rumbling sound of Natsu Dragion's magic four-wheeler. She locked eyes with Mira for a second before they both smiled widely and ran into the guild hall. After all these weeks, Natsu Dragion was finally back!

A/N: Some of you might be wondering how Levy is able to receive letters. And my reply is...I don't know! Let's assume that she has a special machine to receive letters or a secret mailbox or something like that. Unless, someone else has a better idea? What I want to know is, how did the members of Edo-Fairy Tail who were out on a job find the guild again after it moved to a new location?
