Sookie:
When I wake up, I am in my bed in the palace in Avalon.
My room is empty, but I can feel Eric through our bond.
He must be somewhere in the palace.
I pop into my battle gear with Excalibur sheathed on my side.
I leave my hair down and brush it.
If I have to, I can always pop it into a braid.
As I reach the throne room, I feel Excalibur begin to hum gently.
Slightly confused, I open the doors to the throne room and stop dead in my tracks.
There is a blonde haired, blue eyed man sitting on my throne.
I pop across the room to where he sits.
He looks so familiar, yet I do not know him.
He smiles as he appraises me.
"Come sit with me, great-granddaughter, and tell me how Excalibur chose a female descendant," he says with a smile.
"King Arthur," I whisper as he smiles at me.
Before I can stop myself, I lunge across the distance and hug him.
He pats my back and clears his throat, clearly amused at my behavior.
"You have the look of my Queen, but you have my hair and eye color," he says in contemplation.
"You must be very brave for Excalibur to chose you," he says.
"I don't feel brave at all," I say.
"I feel it, the evil in the world and that evil must be stopped," I say.
"The world will always have evil creatures and men in it my Aslynn," he says sadly.
"How do you know what Merlin calls me?" I ask in confusion.
"I told him that my successor would be a female descendant and her name would be Aslynn PenDragon," he says.
"Why, Aslynn?" I question him in interest.
"My Queen saw you in a vision, but she thought that you would be our daughter," he says with a smile.
"Because I look like you both?" I ask with interest.
"Yes, but we only had male children," he says.
"Then Adelina was born, and we had a granddaughter," he continues.
"Gran's name is Adelina?" I ask with amazement.
"Yes, what does she call herself if not by her true name,?" he says with confusion.
"She called herself Adele Stackhouse after she was married," I say.
"She raised my brother Jason and me after our parents died," I tell him.
He is outraged that we grew up and struggled, that we were poor.
"My Gran is the wisest woman I have ever known, and also the bravest," I say.
"She is honest to a fault, she is loyal, and she is kind," I say as I feel my love for her.
"I am proud of my granddaughter," he says after hearing about my gran.
"I sense you are in pain, Aslynn," he says.
"Can I show you something?" I ask.
"Something that Merlin taught me," I say.
"Merlin taught you magic,?" he asks with a bright smile.
"Yes, he said I was his best apprentice yet," I say with pride as my great grandfather beams at me.
"Then, by all means, show me," he says excitedly.
I stand and put my hands on each side of his head and show him my life from the beginning to now.
When I take my seat beside him, I see the tears in his eyes.
"It is no wonder you are a strong woman, you have been through much in your life," he says sadly.
"You love this night creature very much," he says.
"Yes, he is my soul mate," I say.
"My fated mate is what my fae grandfather said," I explain.
"I miss my children and would do anything to have them back," I say.
"That's why I traveled back through time, to fix mistakes and save my children," I explain.
"Why not use the fairy love token?" he asks me as he contemplates how to help me.
I had forgotten about that object.
It brought me pain in the original timeline.
"Do you think it would work?" I ask him excitedly.
"Yes, I do because what greater love is there than the love a mother has for her child?" he says.
As I start to cry with joy, he wipes my tears and embraces me.
"You do our line proud, and you have my blessing to rule as my heir," he says.
"Will I ever see you again," I ask.
"If you wish it, all you have to do is call for me because I will always watch over my bloodline," he says.
He holds me in an embrace and whispers words that I cannot hear above my head, and I feel different.
"What was that?" I say as I stumble
"You now carry the strength of your ancestors and myself," he states.
"Your body will know what to do before your mind can even contemplate what to do," he says.
"Excalibur will react to protect you because that sword is bound to our bloodline through blood and magic," he says.
"Thank you, great grandfather," I say as I crush him in another hug.
As he strokes his hand down my hair, he laughs.
"I have kept you here too long my little warrior," he says.
"Your husband and King become more and more disgruntled," he says with a laugh.
"Would you give Merlin my very best and tell Lucien I am sorry for the pain he endured?" he asks
"Yes, I will," I say.
As I start to fade, I see a woman with beautiful long brown hair step up beside the king's throne.
She smiles at me and takes her husbands hand.
"Safe journey to you, our beloved great-granddaughter," she says.
"I will be back," I say as I fade out and they smile at me with pride.
As I wake, I see Eric pacing, and I see Merlin roll his eyes in annoyance.
When he looks at me, his eyes widen.
He is beside me in an instant.
"You saw him," he says in shock.
"I saw them," I say expecting to sound weak but my voice is loud, and it carries.
"Lover, why are you glowing?" Eric asks me.
"Arthur himself has blessed her," Merlin says in Awe.
"He sends his best," I say as I jump out of bed and run to the attic.
Merlin and Eric follow me.
I locate the table and pop open the hidden compartment and see the cluviel dor.
I snatch it up as Eric and Merlin bellow for me to stop.
I pop to my bedroom.
I hold the little object in my hand and concentrate hard.
I picture Aryk and Arya in my mind.
"I want my children back," I say over and over again as I cry tears of hope and longing.
I don't even notice when Merlin or Eric walk into the room.
I keep doing what I know will work.
"Aslynn" Merlin whispers as he approaches slowly.
"Sookie," Eric says, but I can feel the hope he has.
I grab his hand and place it on the cluviel dor.
"We want our children back," I sob as I lean into Eric.
A bright green light engulfs the room, and when it fades, I see my children standing in the middle of the room.
My beautiful Aryk.
My beautiful Arya.
I stand on wobbly legs as I slowly walk to them, and I wrap them in my arms, and we hold each other as I cry in relief.
Arya looks up and throws herself into Eric's arms as he holds her in relief.
"Dad," she whispers as he starts to cry tears of blood.
Aryk stands and embraces Eric as well.
"How is this possible" Aryk says as I show him the cluviel dor.
"Mother, you brought us back," he says in shock.
"This is Arthur's doing" Merlin states.
"Yes and he sends you his best I say with a smile."
"You met the King?" Eric asks in awe.
"Yes, and I will see him again," I clarify.
"It had not crossed my mind to use the cluviel dor," Merlin says thoughtfully.
"My great grandfather is wise," I say with joy.
"Yes, he ruled with strength and wisdom," Merlin says fondly.
"He was a great man and the most worthy monarch I have witnessed rule in all my time on this earth or any realm," Merlin says with sadness.
"He gifted me with the strength of my ancestors or something," I say as Merlin's eyes grow wide.
"What else did he gift you with my Queen?" he asks in genuine interest.
"I'm not quite sure, but we talked about my life, and I showed him everything," I say.
"He was very proud of me and called me his little warrior," I say with joy.
"He also said that I can call on him whenever I want to and that he will always be watching or near," I say.
"Arthur has not shown himself since before his death" Merlin proclaims.
Before I can reply, there is a knock on the door.
When Eric answers the door, Jason stands on the other side.
His mouth is open, and his shock is evident.
With tears in his eyes, he grabs Aryk and Arya and crushes them in an embrace.
"How?" is all he can manage to say.
"The cluviel dor, a fairy love token that can be used for one wish," I say.
"Well, Pam and Karin are downstairs with your latest guest," he says.
"Summon everyone here, especially family," I say as everyone leaves the room.
All that remains are Eric, Arya, Aryk and me.
We spend our time together before I have to go downstairs and address the bitch from Oklahoma.
As we spend our moments reunited as a family, there is a knock at the door.
Lucien stands in the doorway with Jason.
"I popped over and retrieved my nephew in law," Jason says as Arya throws herself into Lucien's arms.
After many tears and explanations, the whole story is explained.
Lucien hugs Arya tighter as I give him his message from Arthur.
"I owe my king very much for instructing you on how to return my love to me," he says as he holds her tighter.
As another knock sounds from the door, I see that Merlin is standing with Niall.
Niall crushes both of my children in an embrace and weeps openly.
"Your Majesties, the contract was never signed by Ocella," Merlin says.
"It would appear that I nabbed him and his progeny before he could sign the finished contract" he continues.
"Since he never issued a makers command for the marriage, any claim Freyda has on your husband is void" he smirks.
"Everyone is assembled and to give you fair warning; her royal highness is a royal bitch," Jason says.
"If you are to hold a royal gathering, you must be dressed as the monarchs that you are," Merlin says.
With a snap of his fingers, I am dressed in Guinevere's red and silver dress as Eric has dressed in Arthurs royal robes.
With another snap, our crowns are adorning our heads, and we look very much the monarchs that we are.
I see the looks of confusion on our children's faces.
"I will explain later, my loves," I say as I caress their faces.
"It is time to end this problem," I say as Eric takes my hand and leads me down the stairs as our children follow.
When we arrive downstairs, we walk out to the porch, and I see our thrones have been brought from Avalon.
In the yard, being held by guards is The Queen of Oklahoma herself.
Freyda.
As Eric and I take our seats, I see her glare with murderous rage.
"What is the meaning of this Viking?" she screeches.
"Your maker will hear of this, and we are to be wed" she continues her tirade.
I stand from my throne and approach her with my murderous glare.
"You think to take my husband?" I say right in her face.
"You think to take my king," I continue.
"I am the PenDragon." I continue as she looks as if she has no idea what I am saying.
"Queen Aslynn PenDragon Northman is the heir and ruler to the throne of Avalon as well as King Arthur PenDragon's great-granddaughter," Merlin says as she narrows her eyes.
"Princess Susannah Brigant Northman is also Princess of the Skye fae as well as my great granddaughter," Niall says.
"I am also Sookie Stackhouse, telepath," I say to her.
"Your contract is here," I say as I hold the document up.
"Since there was no makers command before his true death, and he also never signed this contract I am afraid that you have no claim on what is mine, and you never will," I say with finality.
To make my point, my fingertips ignite with fire as the contract burns.
She lets out a roar, and I am into my battle gear before she can lunge at me.
"You think to lose your life and your kingdom because you lust for someone who does not want you?" I ask as she zooms toward me.
I snatch her by her long black hair and flip her to the ground.
I have my dagger at her throat before she can move.
"Who here wishes to be the new queen of Oklahoma?" I ask the crowd.
As I watch, I see Sandy Seacrest step forward.
"If you wish to be the queen, then it is your job to give her the true death," I say.
"I cannot and will not rule two kingdoms," I say.
As Sandy takes the dagger, I stop her for a moment.
"If you had walked away this would not have come to pass," I say.
"I lost who I love most to you in a different time, and this time I will not lose him without dying myself," I say.
"Desmond, can you file Sandy's monarch paperwork as well?" I ask
"Just bill me for it," I say.
As Freyda struggles, I grab her face and hold her still.
"Maybe in your next life, if that is possible you will learn not to covet that which is not yours," I say before I reach inside her mouth and rip her fangs out.
As she screams, I step to my King and hand him her fangs.
"For all that she put you through, I love you, Eric," I say as he stares at me with pride and shock.
I hear the blade as it severs Freyda's head from her body and she disintegrates into sludge on my lawn.
After witnesses sign the documents, Desmond leaves to inform the council.
The new Queen turns to leave, and I stop her.
"I do hope that when Felipe and Viktor begin to put their plans into motion, that we can count on you and Oklahoma to come to the aid of Louisianna," I say as her face is filled with shock.
"You know?" she asks.
"I am the PenDragon and Merlin himself is my advisor, I know everything," I say as I pull Excalibur and approach her.
"Do you know what this is?" I ask her
"That is impossible," she says.
"That line died out centuries ago," she continues.
"No, that line was hidden until I could claim my birthright" I inform her.
"Anyone who comes for my husband, our children or my kingdom will die," I say.
"Make sure Nevada knows what they are biting off before they begin to chew," I say.
"I have more reason to hate them than I did Oklahoma and she tried to steal my husband" I clarify.
"You have your kingdom now and are under no rule of Nevada," I say.
"It has been a busy night, and we can meet again tomorrow if you wish," I say as she nods and makes her leave.
"Now to deal with Sophie Anne and Andre," I say to Eric as we join our family as we all step through the portal to our home.
