AN: What's that? An update? :O

The sound of a child's crying echoed down the aisles, and it was at that moment that Dave instantly regretted bringing his boys to the library.

At the tender age of three, the boys couldn't even read yet. Well, Simon could read a few words, but Alvin and Theodore could read none. But he had hoped they would find some sort of joy in looking through the pictures in the little chidren's books.

He was dead wrong. Dave glanced across the room at his oldest son, who was pulling books off the shelves with a devilish grin on his face, then to his middle son, who was sitting in a chair happily swinging his feet as he flipped the pages of a picture book about constellations.

Then he looked down, at Theodore, the youngest of the three triplets, who was clinging to his leg, with tears running down his fuzzy little cheeks.

David Seville bit his lip, and glanced over at the librarian, who was giving him an angry glare, one finger up over her lip. The man mouthed an 'I'm sorry.' before turning his attention back to the child that had attached himself to his leg.

"Theodore," Dave pulled and pried at the child's arms. "What's wrong?"

All he was met with was tear choked babbles. Theodore was trying to communicate. He was trying to say something.

Eventually Dave made out the word 'Teddy'.

Uh-oh...

No wonder he was so upset.

Dave knew his youngest son was a mess without his teddy bear. 'Teddy' was his most prized possession, and he hardly went anywhere without him.

He must be lost somewhere in this library...

Dave finally pried Theodore off of his leg and picked him up.

"Don't worry, Theodore." He wiped a tear off of the sniffling child's cheek. "We'll find Teddy."

The man glanced down around the room, the room filled with books. Teddy could be anywhere...

And he had to find him. Ah, the joys of being a parent.
