Hey guys how's it going? Sorry it's been so long, but I've been planning how I want this to end. No AN responses, because there were too many. Also thanks for telling me to change it to teen; it tells me you actually read these. We WILL be coming back to this cave WAY later on, so don't miss it too much!

FINALLY! I realized how stupid I was and just dug UP after I collected my Lapis; So now I'm up on the surface, and realizing in…

3…

2…

1…

I'm HUNGRY!

I pulled a piece of Pork out of my pack and chewed on it thoughtfully.

There wasn't much to do in Minecraft… in fact, I'm not even sure why it's fun! You just run around fightin' shit and making sure you don't starve.

And a little building along the way, of course.

I sat by a tree to make a plan. I had to do at least SOMETHING until I figured out how to get out of here.

Fight the Wither? Nah, not risking my life. Or I could- I GOT IT!

I'm gonna' get ALL the achievements! Well, maybe not ALL. I'm not too fond of jumping off cliffs on pigs (as I'm sure most people aren't.)

Okay. Wish I had a partner to do this with… eh.

I've probably already got some of them, so I'll just do them again.

Number 1: Taking Inventory

This one is barely worth it. I reach down and pop open my bag. Achievement Unlocked.

Number 2: Getting Wood

Yeah… not wasting my pickaxe on this. I punch a tree and yell "ATATATATATATA!" until it breaks. Achievement Unlocked.

Number 3: Benchmarking

When will this get more interesting? I get down on my knees and begin crafting together a workbench. A while later I stand up and look at my new baby. Achievement Unlocked.

Number 4: time to Mine!

Trehohgfj. I already have like five of these. I quickly make a new pickaxe (wood.) and resist the urge to break it immediately. Achievement unlocked.

Number 5: Hot Topic

At least I can destroy that pickaxe now. I walk around to find some stone and, slouching, grab eight stone blocks. Then I created a furnace. Albeit sloppily, but still a furnace. Achievement Unlocked.

Number 6: Acquire Hardware

This is where they start to get a little more interesting.

I walk till I find a plain. I start digging stairs down underground, occasionally shoving a torch into the wall.

I then accidentally dig below me and fall about 5 feet, letting out a very unladylike grunt. Not like anyone is here to hear it.

Looking up into the dark (maybe) cave, I quickly pull out a torch. Placing it at my feet, I observe my surroundings and plan my next course of action.

Let's see, I can go Left, I think as I peer as far as I can in that direction, noticing some coal and possibly Redstone.

I can go right, I see nothing of interest that way. Maybe there is something farther in.

BUT I only have enough torches for one path right now.

I need coal, so I decide to go left, but leave a mental reminder in my head to come back later.

As I'm mining the coal I confirm that it was, indeed, Redstone.

After getting all the crumbling black rocks that are conveniently stuck in clumps of perfect squares, I move to the Redstone.

I am aware that I can't mine it, but I can still ogle it, can't I?

Just like the Lapis from before, it called me to it, which made me debate calling Edward Elric up into this joint to get rid of Greed for me.

The stone it was encased in was just like normal, but maybe a bit more… crumbly?

The Redstone itself was unblemished and shining a soft ruby color. Why are all the gems more impressive than in the game?

I reached out towards one stone, and the wall around it cracked and the small piece of Redstone fell into my awaiting fingers.

I froze, wondering if the wall was going to collapse, even though it could only do that if it were made of gravel or sand.

After a few tense moments, I relax, accepting that I just cause odd things to happen and I should calm the hell down, and go with the flow… of lava that is heading right towards me.

"HOLY FUCK WHERE'D THAT COME FROM!?"

F.E.A.R.

Fuck everything and run.

You know how lava is really slow and basically not a threat? Yeah, tell that to this lava.

For every step I took, the lava took 2.

The only reason it hasn't gotten me yet is because it slows down a little at corners. If you ask me, I think this lava is possessed by the Redstone demon. He's mad that I took a little Redstone, that's all.

It was right on my heels now, and I could feel angry blisters forming on my ankles.

"HEY!"

What? I didn't say that…

I look up and see a tall, thin guy –probably about my age- standing a few blocks above the ground. He's holding a hand out, for me more than likely, unless he's with the Redstone demon and is about to get his hand burned off.

I get just close enough to grab his hand and he jumps backwards, pulling me up onto the rocks with him.

"Are you okay?" He asks.

I sit down "My ankles are burned, but other than that, yeah. Thanks."

I take a closer look at him. He had short, messy brown hair and violet eyes. He was wearing a turquoise shirt and regular jeans with some grey boots.

It took a second to register that, but when it did, I opened my big mouth and said, "STEVE?"

To his credit, he only looked slightly surprised.

"Yeah, but how'd you know? A-are you another one of those people who-"

He looked around us and leaned in close to my ear.

"-Is from another world?" he finished.

I lean back, my eyes as wide as Russia.

How does he know that? If he does, others must have been here! Maybe he knows how to get back!

I was too shocked to speak, so I just nodded, my hand tightening around the strap of my bag as I not so patiently waited for his response.

Which wasn't what I was expecting.

He grabbed my hand and began running. "Come on! It's not safe for you here!" he yelled

"What do you mean? Have you seen others from my home? Do you know how to get ba-" "No one has ever gotten back before. They all die before they get the chance to." He says, suddenly stern.

I gasp as my heart feels like it's bursting out of my chest. Does that mean I'll never get home? Never see the people I care about again?

We ran for a while, 'till we come across a nice, warm looking house.

We get inside and Steve tells me to sit at the table.

I do so, and watch as he sits across from me. "How did you get here?" it feels like an interrogation.

"I tripped and when I sat up, I was here." I respond, avoiding eye-contact. I was never good with that.

He sighs, and I can tell he's not pleased I'm here.

"So… I'm not the only Earthling you've seen?" I ask hopefully.

He looks slightly confused at the term but he nods. "bunches have come through here. Brought here by the Enderman."

"The Enderman? Why would they do that?" I question

"They… are searching for someone. The human destined to rule them. They began bringing random people here and then killing them if they weren't the right human, which none were." He said with a sad look.

"But they haven't killed me… in fact, they've saved me!" I say

He looks up sharply. "what do you mean?" he asks

I tell him about my escapades and the Enderman saving my skin.

"Then… maybe you ARE the right one. I hope so. The Enderman have been getting increasingly aggressive after every failure, and more desperate as well. I started seeing them in odd places, like the Nether and in water."

"Why do they need a leader?" I ask, more than a little curious.

He looks unsure, but answers "Something is wrong. The Enderman don't show up as often anymore, and when they do, it's during the day."

"shouldn't they… not be doing that?" I blink

"It should kill them. But on another note, you should stay with me for a while. At least until we figure some of this out." He proposes.

I think for a brief moment, before deciding I should take him up on his offer.

A little while later and we're sitting in an awkward silence, accompanied only by the sounds of mobs outside the walls.

I pull my bag onto my lap for something to do, and look inside.

Sitting in my bag, was a stack of 15 iron.

It probably melted off the walls and got sucked into my bag. I stand with my iron and some coal and walk over to Steve's furnace.

I cook some iron and pull out the ingot, holding it up to the ceiling and watching as some light from a torch flashes across the iron.

Achievement Unlocked.

I am SOOO sorry about how long this took. Some shit happened and I also lost my inspiration. But today, I read the reviews, felt extremely guilty, and this happened.

I'm pretty proud of this chapter. It has a mix of humor, vague references to things, and foreshadowing.

Also, Steve makes an appearance and tells us some of what is happening (you'll find out more later.)

Review if you want!
