The rest of Link's party went well without a hitch and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. Link had opened up the rest of his gifts and then everyone sat aound the table set up to enjoy the food the castle's chefs prepared. including a huge chocolate cake which I liked, although chocolate cake can't beat cheesecake in my opinion.

We all convinced Link to make a wish despite his protests about it being childish. He refused to tell us what he wished for afterwards.

There was plenty of chatter going on around the table as well as champagne. I enjoyed a few drinks myself and played a few more songs onstage.

The party eventually died down and all the guests were shown to their rooms.

I went back to my room as well and went into the en-suite, filling the bathtub with warm water, adding a bit of lavender extract to give it a pleasing scent. I undressed and got in the water, releasing a sigh as my muscles relaxed.

I sank deeper into the water, closing my eyes and resting my head on the rim of the tub. I enjoyed the end of the day when I was able to relax and be left alone with my thoughts. I enjoyed hanging out with my crew, I truly did, but it was nice to have time alone and be by myself to just think.

Right now the topic on my mind was Link's party. I was glad that it was successful and that Hero Boy got a chance to spend time with his friends and family as he hadn't had much of a chance to see them when he began traveling with us pirates. I had always wondered if he regretted it even back then, and if he didn't regret it then, what about now? Would he regret it in the future if not now?

Part of me worried that he would come to hate me for taking him away from his loved ones on Outset, why that part even existed I didn't know. The more logical part of me scoffed at the idea, as if he hate me for something he chose to do on his own. I had warned him that he would be leaving a lot behind, that nothing was certain, told him that he would be better off staying on Outset.

If he regretted that decision it was his problem not mine, no one forced him to come along and no one is making him stay. He could leave New Hyrule and go back with his family if he wanted.

I would miss him though, if I was honest, I had gotten used to him being around, and since he and I were the same age, I could relate to him more than my crew of older men, as great as they were.

I shook my head, why was I even thinking about this, Link is my best friend and wouldn't leave. I am overthinking it all, having these random thoughts. It's amazing how quickly the mind may race and what it may think up when one is alone with their thoughts.

I pushed those thought out of mind and just tried to not think at all focusing on the silence of the bathroom, I spent a good half an hour in the tub, almost falling asleep, before I got out and dressed for bed.

A week had passed since Link's party and I was to take a trip to the Fire Realm and meet with the Gorons and see how things were going plus I did want to get out of the castle for a bit anyway so it was going to be a leisure trip which I could use.

I got dressed in a cropped tank top that showed off my stomach and some loose fitting cropped pants as it was going to be quite warm in the Gorons' village, as one would assume it would be, located in a place called the Fire Realm. I matched the outfit with a pair of sandals, a old bracelet on my upper arm and my old red scarf around my neck, matching the red belt I wore. I put my hair up into a pony-tail and headed out of my room with some luggage I packed.

I smiled as and waved to the people I passed as I made my way trough the castle halls and towards the main entrance.

"Hey Zel" I heard someone call out. I stopped and turned around, rolling my eyes with a smile as Link came toward me.

"Hey Hero Boy" I replied "What's up?"

"Just heading out to train with the recruits" he replied, pointing to the sword strapped to his back. I immediately recognized it as soon as I saw the hilt and and the sheath, the same way I somehow recognized it all those years ago back when Link and I met again on the cursed isle known as the Forsaken Fortress. It's a blade I'd know anywhere.

"Glad it's coming in handy then" I grinned. I was happy that the replica of the Mastersword I had had made ended up being a good gift choice.

"Yeah" Link laughed "So where are you headed off to?"

"Oh I'm visiting the Gorons in the Fire Realm, seeing how they are and paying a visit" I answered.

"Ah, not a business trip then I'm guessing" he replied.

"Yep, a casual visit, I kinda need to get out of the castle anyway, I hate being cooped up for too long" I grinned

"Don't I know it" Link said amused "Well I'll catch up with ya later then, the group's waiting for me, have fun Zel."

"Okay, I'll see ya later, Hero Boy" I said.

"Se ya Zel" he replied. I laughed as I noticed Charlie following him, making cute little snorts and oink sounds as he went.

We both waved and headed our separate ways, Link heading towards the training courtyard and I outside heading to Castletown.

With the outfit I wore not many people recognized me as their queen, instead I ended up looking like a regular townsperson, not drawing much attention to myself, which was nice as I sometimes preferred to blend in, it meant less people would come and try to talk to me and ask questions.

I made my way to the station at the entrance to Castletown and waited with a bunch of other people for the train to arrive as we had a few now finally finished earlier in the week and able to travel. Yesterday had been the debut of these trains and of course I had to go out in public and make some sort of speech which had gone well, and judging by the crowd here it seems people are excited about it all.

...In the center New Hyrule was a giant tower, seen from all the realms of the kingdom in that tower was a special mode of transport, known as the Spirit Train. When the pirates and I had first arrived here we had noticed the tracks on the ground and the tower standing in the center, as the creation of the kingdom went underway I had visited the tower. There I met a woman named Anjean. She and I quickly became friends and once I told her my story she told me hers. she told me a legend about a demon who has ravaged the land, forcing most people to flee. The demon ended up battling with this Spirits and was sealed away, the tracks around the kingdom acted as chains for his prison while the tower acted as a lock and key.

Over time the lokomos, Anjean's race, had protected the land in the Spirits' stead, more tribes eventually settled in the land, the Gorons in the Fire Realm and the Anouki in the Snow Realm. Anjean also showed me the Spirit Train, the one vessel able to travel along the tracks. I decided that it was a genius idea and that once the kingdom was more developed I would have more trains built to be a public transportation system and travel for the people of the kingdom easier, using the spirit train as a model to go by.

...And now the public transport system was finally ready after many years of spreading word of the kingdom's existence, creating alliances and building towns, we now had another advancement.

I boarded the train along with the others and enjoyed the scenery as we Traveled through the Forest Realm making stops at the other villages in the area, We made a stop at Anouki Village in the Snow Realm where I put on the cloak I had packed to keep warm, though seeing the Anouki and humans getting along made me happy and appreciative that the races of New Hyrule were getting along. I also wondered if the races of old Hyrule got along as well, seemed so based on the stain glass art I saw back in the ancient castle when my true identity was revealed to me so many years ago.

After our stop at Anouki Village we continued riding through the Snow Realm, heading East towards the Fire Realm. We made it there by midday and stopped at Goron Village. I got off at the station there and made my into the village, stopping to eat a quick lunch I packed before heading towards the home of the village's elder.

I knocked politely once I reached the door.

"Hello" a tall Goron answered.

"Hello Elder, it's lovely to see you" I greeted with a smile. The Elder stared at me for a moment before grinning.

"Ah, Queen Tetra, Welcome, please come in."
