Sorry for the late update guys! Here's the first update of many to come...now that my boyfriend is now pressuring me to finish my fics...
Love you guys! Ciao!
Pulling out his phone, Cloud tried to ignore the shrill screeching of the silver haired doll that his brunette lover tried to restrain. "Pick up, Zack." Cloud breathed as he dialled the oh so familiar number of his friend and only deliveryman of the famed robotics company, that created the doll that was giving them so much trouble. "Why hello, this is Zack Fair." A cheery voice greeted as the black haired man actually managed to pick his phone up for once. "Oh thank Gods. Zack, I need you to come over with a GENEVA doll. Sora had to work and dumped Riku on me and he's pitching a fit." Cloud babbled over the phone to the confused deliveryman. "Uh sure. I'll ask my honeys if they want to come over for a bit. Be there soon okay?" Zack replied, hanging up the phone as he rushed to get permission. "Thank Gods. Somebody up there loves me." Cloud murmured as he too hung up his phone and slipped it back into his jeans pocket.
"I don't wanna stay here!" Riku wailed as Leon kept a tight grip around the silver haired doll's waist. Coming inside finally, Cloud looked over to the pair in alarm as Riku continued to thrash and cry in the scarred brunette's hold. "Stop being such a child!" Leon snarled as the silver haired doll accidentally scratched his cheek with his nails. Biting back a wail and ceasing his erratic movements, the younger doll began to sniffle in the brunette's grasp. "Leon, you don't have to be so mean." Cloud admonished as he made his way over to the crying doll, wiping away the many tears that began to flow down his porcelain cheeks. "It's okay, Riku. I asked Zack to come over with one of the older GENEVA dolls. He'll be here soon." Cloud whispered as he managed to soothe the now silent doll.
"Hey babies? I hear that a doll's having a little trouble so I have to go over. " Zack cooed as he put his cell phone into his pants pocket. Three pairs of aquamarine eyes turned to regard him cautiously before they each shook their head. "Okay well I'll just tell Cloud that you three don't want to go help. What a shame because you know Riku's over there." The black haired man shrugged, knowing that his dolls would agree wholeheartedly once they knew that the visit would entail visiting their spoiled little brother. Turning to face each other for a moment, the three dolls nodded before turning back to face their master. "We'll go!" The three shouted all at once, rising off the bed where they had lounged previously. "That's what I thought, babies." Zack murmured as he rifled through his closet, looking for clothes for the three dolls. Soon enough, the three newly dressed dolls and Zack all piled into his delivery truck, on the way to Cloud's.
"Riku, just stop crying. I can't handle anymore." Cloud pleaded as he tried to placate the younger doll that now sat on the living room floor as he sniffled. "I wanna go home. This isn't home." The silver haired doll wailed as he flinched away from the blonde. Cloud sighed before resigning his efforts to comfort the saddened doll and sat himself on the couch, resting his head in his hands. "Jesus Christ. It's been an hour. Where the fuck is Zack?!" Leon growled from the kitchen as he tried to block out the incessant whining from the bawling doll.
"You called?" Zack sang, replying to the brunette's clenched words. Snapping his head up from his hands, the blonde sighed in relief as he regarded his best friend's presence at the front door. "Oh thank fuck." Cloud breathed as he got up from the couch and pounced on the black haired deliveryman. "Make him stop. It's been like this for an hour." Cloud explained, pulling away from his friend to look over his shoulder to see three figures push their way in past the pair, rushing towards the saddened doll. "Riku!" Three sweet voices called as one of the three dolls embraced the surprised robot. "Be careful, angels." Zack called as he watched the other two flock to the two silver haired dolls that sat on the floor.
Taking one step out of the kitchen, Leon swore under his breath as he watched the four silver haired dolls fluff over each other, preening and embracing one another. "Oh fuck." The scarred brunette growled as he tried to walk backwards into the kitchen. The three dolls paused their fussing over Riku to look up at the brunette doll who snarled at them. "Oh look! It's Squall!", "Squall!", "Oh how fine!"The dolls all shouted from their position near the once upset doll. Looking to Zack for answers, Cloud frowned as the brunette quickly evacuated the room, going up the stairs, presumably, to their shared bedroom. "Squall and the triplets were kept in the same room." Zack explained, a twinkle glinting in his violet eyes as he recalled the fun times that ensued whilst they were working on both projects. "I see. Let's leave these four alone for a bit while we talk in the kitchen?" Cloud suggested as he made his way towards the room that the brunette had just left, eager to leave the four eerily similar looking robots to their reunion.
Now that the four dolls were alone, the three older robots felt it time to question their younger sibling. Without allowing any time for the youngest to answer any of their questions, the three older dolls queried Riku. "Did Chocobo take you in?" Yazoo asked the youngest doll, sympathy showing on his face. "Cloud already has Squall. You need a better Master!" Loz shouted. The three dolls looked expectantly at their youngest sibling, waiting for Riku to respond. When the youngest silver haired doll failed to respond, only pouting and sulking in turn, the eldest doll continued to question and prod at his cry baby sibling. "Did he make you cry?" Kadaj asked, frowning at the thought of the usually friendly blonde hurting the youngest of their kin. Shaking his head, Riku wiped away a few idle tears before sniffling in response. "Sora left me to go to work." The youngest doll whimpered before crying again, snuggling into Yazoo's confused arms. "You mean..." Yazoo started, frowning in confusion. "Your Master only went to work?" Kadaj and Loz finished, both their faces contorted in expressions of confusion too. Riku nodded emphatically as he lurched up out of his elder brother's arms. "Yes! And he said he wouldn't be back for eight hours!" The younger silver haired doll wailed, as he clutched Yazoo close to him.
"Why do you have all three? I thought you were just going to bring one." Cloud asked, a little incredulously as he peeked at the strange scene that was occurring in his once peaceful lounge room from his safe position in the kitchen. The black haired man merely laughed in response and shrugged nonchalantly. "I mentioned Riku and I guess my honeys missed their baby brother." Zack murmured as he shrugged once more before peeking out of the kitchen at his three dolls as well. The blonde frowned as he pulled away from the kitchen's doorway to open the refrigerator and taking two small bottles of water from the coolness, keeping one for himself and throwing the other to Zack. "Oh well, I'm just glad Riku's not wailing anymore. I think Squall was going to strangle him if he continued any longer. " Cloud mused before taking a sip of the sweet cool liquid.
"Riku, it's perfectly normal for our human masters to leave the house for many hours. It's how they pay for the house, their food and bills." Yazoo explained, patting his youngest brother on the top of his head lightly. Loz nodded emphatically before crushing Riku to his leather encased body. "Zack leaves us for many hours of the day so that he can do maintenance on the other dolls or go to his job at the company, it's why we can have so many baths and pretty things." Kadaj murmured, further expanding on his younger brother's point. Frowning, Riku looked to each of his brothers, confused. "So...Sora leaving is normal?" The youngest silver haired doll questioned, still frowning. The three older dolls all nodded in sync before returning to their fussing and preening over their younger sibling.
"Only six more hours, Zack. If he cries again, I think I might sic Squall on him." Cloud breathed, before placing his now empty water bottle onto the counter and rubbing his temples. The black haired man laughed before draining his own water bottle. "The honeys do come in handy every now and then, don' t they?" Zack chuckled as he threw his empty bottle into the kitchen bin.
"Mr Strife, are you okay?" A soft feminine voice called, breaking the brunette's daze and startling him. Sora turned around on his swivel office desk chair and smiled sheepishly. "Yeah, Kairi. Have there been any calls for me?" The brunette asked as he adjusted his crumpled tie and wiped drool off his cheek. Kairi smiled sweetly at her hopeless boss before shaking her head. "No, sorry, sir. No phone calls." The auburn haired girl responded, briefly checking over her purple note pad. Disappointed, Sora nodded to his secretary before waving her away and sighing. "I miss Riku..." Sora sighed before drumming his fingers onto the office desk. "Only another six hours to go..."
