The Teller Residence

3:38 A.M.

The chilliness of the early morning felt refreshing against Samantha's heated skin. She leaned drowsily back into the porch swing as she steadily swung forward and then backwards. Her barefoot pushed against the cold cement flooring with her toes. Her left foot was crossed and underneath her right leg that was pressed against the floor, pushing her on the swing. Her fingers twitched for the familiar sensation of holding a cigarette between her fingers. Or at least a hard drink in hand. She needed it after the long, drama filled months she's had since the early birth of Abel.

A heavy exhale escaped as bright green eyes turned to look up at the cloudless dark sky. Her eyes glinted in the dim lighting from the street lamps. The front door quietly squeaked open, admitting a glow of yellow light from the front hallway lamp bulb. It quickly dispersed as the door shut behind the dark figure with a click. "What are yah doin' up?" Jax questioned in a quiet, hoarse voice that told Sam that he had just woken up.

"Couldn't sleep," she murmured, her own voice hoarse from sleep and not speaking since she woke, "so I decided to get some fresh air." Sam replied softly as her eyes flicked over to him. She smiled at his messy bed hair, crinkled sweatpants and sweatshirt he wore to stop the chill from the early morning. She wore black sweatpants, a green wife-beater, and Jax's black sweatshirt that smelt like his cologne, laundry detergent, grease, and his own particular scent. A pair of black socks covered her perpetually cold feet with a large knitted quilt covering her lap. It was early in the morning, nearly night still, and she couldn't sleep after the hectic couple days the pair of them had. The stress had brought about her insomnia that seemed to always rear its damned head when she lease wanted it to. "I was just thinking and enjoying the cool morning air." She added on to her earlier comment with a small shrug of her shoulders.

"What're you thinkin' 'bout?" Jax inquired tiredly. A yawn escaped his lips as he walked over to Samantha. He had awoken when he rolled over in bed and didn't feel her warm presence beside him. He took a seat on the cushioned porch swing and wrapped his arm around Sam's shoulder, pulling her against him. Jax felt a small tiny smirk and sensation of satisfaction as he noticed she was wearing his sweatshirt. It made him feel like he was showing to everyone, even though no one was around, that she was his. That she chose him and no one else.

The younger woman gave a content sigh as she snuggled into him, covering the blanket over them both as they continued to swing in silence. Jax placed the baby monitor from Riley's room, just as a precaution as he was now by himself in the house, on its back beside himself as the couple continued to swing. "I was thinking about everything that's happened the last couple of months." Samantha stated as she entwined their hands and laid it on top of Jax's stomach. "It's been a long couple of months." Jax gave a breath of laughter in agreement. It had been ridiculous how much drama they've had to deal with since the early birth of Abel. Jax sometimes wondered if the town was cursed with how much shit they go through in a week.

"I was also thinking about how much I really missed living here. Even with all the bullshit we go through, this shitty little town is home. My place has always been by your side, ever since we were kids." Sam said firmly as she played with Jax's fingers. A small smile graced his lips at his fiancés statement. Since their childhood everyone had always said that they belonged together. As children they had always been argumentative. They were always challenging and bickering with each other, but at the end of the day, they had always had each others backs. As they grew older the two began to notice each other in a more romantic and sexual way, rather then just a friendly way. When Sam was fourteen-years-old and Jax sixteen-years-old the two gave dating a chance and hadn't looked back since.

"We all missed yah too darlin'." Jax stated as he used his free hand to brush away strands of hair behind her ear. "It was tellin', noticeable that you were gone. It was hard sometimes." He conceded with a small sigh. "But we adjusted to your absence, course your brother's weren't very tolerable those first couple months." He remembered vividly those months of the Janowitz brothers being in a foul mood, until they finally let it go. It was a relief for all the Sons that had to deal with them on a daily basis.

"It was hard at first on my own, without you and everyone else around. At first I always expected for one of you to come walking into a room and start talking shit about something." She said with a smile of amusement. "Besides those times that I came up with Riley so you could see him, I was too stubborn to admit that I missed Charming." Verdant eyes looked away from the dark and silent neighborhood and over to Jax.

"And then I finally decided that I wanted to come back one morning," she mused aloud, "I was tired of helping my friend with their business when it was needed." The young mother stated. A thoughtful expression crossed her features. Her eyes held a faraway glaze in them as she relieved some of her memories. "I had figured that it was safe to come back from Europe." She explained to Jax as he remained silent. He was listening to her silently as she explained why she had left to Europe for those six months.

"I had left originally to get away from Kohn." She recollected verbally. "He was getting more obsessed and controlling, even though we were parted for nearly eighteen months." Sam stated with a sigh. "Going to Europe gave me a chance to clear my head and get my priorities straight." Her green eyes were dark as she remembered the day she had the revelation that she missed her hometown. "That's when I finally realized how much I missed Charming and being with you." She smiled as she laid her chin on his shoulder. "That's when I called my friends and told them I was moving back to Charming. I was ready to finally settle down and give Riley a steady home." Samantha's fingers slowly drew invisible lines on his sweatshirt as they sat on the porch.

Jax looked down at the smaller women in his arms with his beautiful blue eyes. "I'm glad you did. It ain't the same when you and Riley were gone." He stated as he rubbed her back with his hand. When he had gotten the phone call from Gemma that Sam and Riley were back, he had been happy. Until he was told that Sam was in the hospital having an emergency C-Section, he had feared the worst. Samantha, out of every women that he knew, was the strongest, and he knew if he had lost her and had to raise the boys by himself, he wouldn't be able to. She meant everything to him. She was his first and only love since they were teenagers.

"I know." Samantha breathed out with a small quirk of her lips. "I know you are. I couldn't stay away any longer and I couldn't continue to keep Riley away like I was…dragging him back and forth." She shivered at a cool breeze and smiled when Jax tightened his grip around her and wrapped the blanket tighter around them.

Jax's hand slowly ran through her silky, chocolate brown locks. He kissed the top of her head and inhaled the scent of wild cherry blossom and vanilla scented shampoo and conditioner. It was her smell, whenever he smelt that scent in the house it made him feel calm and relaxed. It reminded him that the two of them were no longer pussy footing around, that they finally stopped being so damn stubborn. He smiled as his thumb gently rubbed against the engagement ring on her slim, long finger.

"I'm damn lucky to have you." He muttered into her hair with his eyes closed. He enjoyed the comfortable silence, the calm after a long day.

"Yes you are," Sam teased with a light chuckle, "but I'm lucky to have you too." She stated with a warm, loving smile. "I love you Jax Teller, I know I can always count on you." Her brilliant green eyes sparkled in the dim, yellowish glow from the neighbors side of the house lights.

"I love you too Sammy." He replied. "And I will always protect you and the boys." Jax replied. "Now come on, let's head back to bed." He stood and pulled Sam along behind him. She held the blanket and baby monitor as they slipped back into the house and headed for the master bedroom to sleep for another couple of hours.

Charming Police Station

9:10 A.M.

Jax stormed into the police station of Charming. His eyes were flashing and his jaw clenched in anger as he passed a cop in the hallway while he headed towards Deputy Chief David Hale. "You better rein in your ATF boyfriend." Jax ordered with anger barely contained in his voice. His expression clearly showed his fury and irritation. His irritation had risen since he realized he was being stalked. It got worst after Sam mentioned offhandedly that morning that she wasn't being left alone, that she kept seeing that ATF fucker following her around. It wouldn't have pissed him off so much if it had been just him being tracked, but this ATF guy was crossing a line when he started pestering Samantha and trying to cause trouble for the two of them.

"Agent Kohn isn't on my payroll and I don't have to keep tabs." David Hale spoke tersely and gave Jax a look that clearly told him that he wanted him far away from himself.

Jax bit back a sarcastic and snappy retort and instead kept it to himself. He wanted to hit something, preferably Kohn, and barely refrained from slamming his hand into the desk at that moment. There was no reason to cause himself unnecessary pain. "Yeah, well maybe you should." Jax stated with his anger not yet able to dissipate. "He's not here for SAMCRO Hale, he's here for Sammy." He was really fucking close to doing something that would make Kohn regret ever trying to fuck with his family.

"What the hell are you talking about?" The demand in Hales voice held something else in it, perhaps anger…or realization? Jax couldn't tell. His eyes showed the understanding he suddenly felt. There was also anger in Davids expression at the idea of Kohn stalking Samantha, a girl he had once known fairly well. He had, had a thing for the beautiful, fiery brunette but none of this was known to SAMCRO and it was going to stay that way.

"He's stalkin' Sammy. He was stalkin' her in Chicago, until she left for Europe and then came here to Charming to be with me. She moved back here so I could see Riley more and be there for Abel." Jax explained shortly. Though their plan had changed when Abel was unexpectedly born but that didn't make a difference to Jax. The other man felt that he didn't need to reveal the reasons why to Hale, but he was anyways, for Samantha and their children's sake. "I'm tellin' you Hale, this guy is nuts and he's gonna hurt Sammy and the boys." The very notion that Kohn could or would made Jax nauseated and furious with the thought. His children are his world. He loves his sons in a way only a father could and that was something he never thought he would be able to do.

Hale looked away while his mind thought over what Jax Teller was telling him. He couldn't believe he hadn't seen it earlier. "Jesus Christ." Hale muttered with a shake of his head. "That's who she has a restraining order against." Jax had already known about Samantha's restraining order. She had mentioned it to Jax that morning and how she had gone to Hale about her restraining order against Kohn. As much as Jax didn't like Kohn or law enforcement in general, he knew Sammy could trust Kohn with something like this. Of course she hadn't been able to look more into it due to being distracted with the latest drama that continuously happened over the months she has been here. He'd talk to her about it later.

"You knew?" The disbelief in his tone was clear to Hale that he hadn't been told this information. That Sam had been going to him about this issue before finally telling Jax was new information to Jax. He couldn't help but feel a little smug and sympathetic to Jax Teller. As much as he hated SAMCRO, he liked Samantha. They probably would have remained friends or became more had she not been unfortunate enough to get sucked in with SAMCRO's business because of who her family was. Hale blamed Teller partly for dragging the friendly and kind brunette further into SAMCRO. He was positive that had she gotten out of that life, she would have a better life, but that was just his opinion.

Hale shook his head and his face darkened with emotions that Jax couldn't describe. He stepped further away from the desk and looked at the blond haired male in front of him. "No, but it makes sense now." He stated with a tone that held a growl to it.

"Hale, let's go hot shot. Waters and Powers just found some old bones down by Forty-Four." Unser stated as he walked out of his officer and into the hallway. He looked between Jax Teller and David Hale. He was curious to know what the two men, who disliked each other so much, could be talking about. He decided not to concern himself with their business and turned away. He had more important things to worry about like the human skeletons.

"Be there in a minute." Hale called back in reply. He looked distracted as he glanced away, lost in his own thoughts. Jax continued to look at Hale with an indescribable expression. "Kohn is my problem," he stated to Jax, "and I will handle it." He finished with anger in his voice as he stared down Jax.

The other man placed his hands into his front jean pockets as he looked Hale in the eyes. "You better man or I'm gonna." Jax vowed. Jax watched silently as Hale walked away and down the hallway, heading to where Unser had gone off to.

The Teller Residence

12:07 P.M.

"Don't worry about a thing, 'cause every little thing gonna be alright. Singin' don't worry about a thing, 'cause every little thing gonna be alright!" The music echoed throughout the house in the sunny and relaxing afternoon. The base was pumping as "Three Little Birds" by Bob Marley played. Samantha and little Riley danced with each other through the house, singing along to the music. They were enjoying their mother and son bonding time together. Jax had left three hours earlier, leaving mother and son to have fun together. Riley had been very hyper that morning, almost too hyper for Sam to handle. So she had decided to tire him out so when his nap time came, he'd be tired enough to sleep.

"Rise up this mornin', smile with the risin' sun, three little birds, each by my doorstep singin' sweet songs of melodies pure and true, Sayin', this is my message to you-ou-ou." Sam sang with a smile as she picked Riley up in her arms and set him on her hip. Their hands held like one would in a waltz dance as her other arm kept him on her hip. She twirled them around the couch and coffee table with a laugh. Riley shrieked hysterically in glee as his mother continued to sing and dance with him, swaying through the living room, kitchen and dining room.

"Singin', don't worry 'bout a thing, 'cause every little thing gonna be alright. Singin', don't worry, don't worry 'bout a thing, 'cause every little thing gonna be alright!" They sang out in unison. They giggled through most of it as Samantha breathlessly made her way back into the living room to where they had been dancing in the kitchen.

"Rise up this mornin', smiled with the risin' sun, three little birds each by my doorstep," Sam set Riley down on his feet and held her hands palm up as Riley placed his hands in hers. Holding his hands the pair did silly little dances together throughout the living room. "Singin' sweet songs of melodies pure and true, sayin', this is my message to you-ou-ou." Sam spun Riley in circles and twirls as they enjoyed the happy music playing. They didn't hear the sound of the front door opening and slamming shut until the music was suddenly stopped.

"You two look like you're having a good time." Gemma remarked with a raised eyebrow and smile at the sight of the two of them having fun together. Samantha was a wonderful mother to Riley. She always made time for her son and Gemma knew she'd be the same way with Abel when it came time to bring him home.

"G-Ma!" Riley yelled as he ran towards Gemma, his arms spread wide for a hug. It was a new name that Riley had begun to call him grandmother. Sam could only assume it made Gemma feel like she was younger. The older woman smiled and bent down. She pulled the four-year-old into a tight and loving hug.

"Hey Ri, you having fun?" She asked as she held the boy in her arms. She was always amazed at how much he looked like Jackson and Samantha. She knew Abel was going to look just like his daddy as he already had the blonde hair and blue eyes. She wondered what any other children the pair had would look like. She knew instinctively that Sam was not going to be willing to have any more children any time soon. With two boys and Jax to take care of Sam already had her hands full.

"Yeah huh," He replied as he rapidly nodded his head and snapped Gemma out of her thoughts. "Mama and I played and danced and sang. Daddy played with us too 'til he had to go bye-bye." Riley stated in a rush.

Samantha smiled at the pair and while she was thankful that she and Gemma got along, there was still a tension between each other from a few incidents in Sam's teenage years. They knocked heads together and fought with each other when they have their differences, but at the end of the day they were family. Sooner or later they would legally be mother-in-law and daughter-in-law. Sam wondered how Gemma would be like then. Would she be the Monster In Law or the same as she had always been? Only time would tell she supposed.

It was different when Sam was just the girlfriend or fiancé. It did add a bonus that she has known Gemma since she was a child and she was the mother of her grandbabies. Now though, Sam was about to be her daughter-in-law and that was a daunting thought. She was going to truly be family by law. This was going to be a whole different ball game. "We were having fun but then G-Ma came and ruined our fun." She teased with a chuckle. "Why don't you go play with your toys Ri, while G-Ma and I talk?" Sam told her son, though it sounded more like a suggestion to the four-year-old.

"Okay!" Riley agreed with a nod and bright smile. "Bye G-Ma." He gave Gemma a kiss on the cheek and ran down the hallway towards his bedroom. Gemma gave Sam a look but didn't speak as they waited in silence until the sounds of Riley playing reached their ears.

Sam walked over to the couch and collapsed on it for a moment as she caught her breath. She was tired from all the dancing and playing she did with Riley this morning. It was a few minutes later that Samantha slowly pushed herself back up. She pulled the baskets full of her and Jax's clean clothes, Riley's clothes and towels towards her. She dragged the baskets from their spot against the wall and over to the couch. She had made sure they were out of the way before the dancing started. "Is it going to get me arrested?" She asked suddenly as she sat back down on the couch. She pulled out some of her and Jax's clean clothes and began to fold them. The last thing Sam wanted was to get in trouble. She did not need to get arrested when she had two children, a fiance and a goddamn stalker to worry about. Especially if it was Gemma asking her to do this. Gemma asking something always led to trouble and drama following in its path.

She didn't want to be considered like Gemma for beating the shit out of someone. She had done so a week before with that Crow Eater that Clay had slept with. In the unspoken law of the Club, Gemma had complete rights to kill that Crow Eater for coming to Charming. It could be perceived as a threat to Gemma's position as the wife of the President to SAMCRO. What happens on the road is supposed to stay on the road. Samantha wondered how the blow up between the married couple went when Clay visited her in jail. She knew it must have been interesting to watch.

Gemma took a seat beside her on the couch and pulled the basket of Riley's clothes towards her. She picked up a few of the boys clothes from the basket and started to fold them beside Sam. "Not unless you decide to do something stupid." Gemma replied as she glanced over at the younger woman. "I need you to watch Peyton Williamson for me. You need to find out why she's back and if she's going to cause us problems. And if she's thinking about getting back with Chibs." The graying brunette remarked as she brushed away the hair in her face. She set aside the folded clothes on the coffee table and reached down to grab more from the basket.

"And how am I supposed to get to know her?" Samantha asked with a raised eyebrow. She pushed the basket full of her and Jax's folded clothes to the side and pulled the basket of towels towards her.

"I heard she'll be at the hospital today around three." Gemma responded as she set the last of the folded clothes on the table.

A frown graced her pink lips and with a shake of her head she stood up from the couch. "Can you put Riley's clothes away for me while I put the towels, Jax's and my clothes away?" She requested as she lifted down and picked the two baskets up. She didn't wait for Gemma's reply before walking into the small hallway. She passed Riley and Abel's bedrooms. She turned left down the other hallway and stopped at the linen closet beside the bathroom near the guestrooms, Riley's room and Abel's room.

Sam was dressed in a pair of dark blue form fitting jeans, a tight black top with a white long sleeved button up over that. The long sleeves were rolled up to her elbows and the shirt was unbuttoned except for two in the middle. Her feet were bare, except for some socks when she decided to put her boots on and head out. Her mind raced with reasons why she should refuse Gemma's request but she knew she couldn't. Her own curiosity was getting to her and she couldn't deny that she was protective of the boys. She would do what she could to help them if the time came to it.

Samantha sighed as she placed the last towels on the shelf and shut the linen closet door. She placed the full basket of folded clothes into the empty basket. Sam picked them up, letting them press against her side as she held the basket there. Walking further down the hallway she stepped through the doorway of the master bedroom and finally came to a decision.

It looked like she was heading to the hospital later than she planned.

Teller-Morrow Garage

1:23 P.M.

In a boxing ring the prospect known as Half-Sack and one of Teller-Morrows mechanics are practicing boxing as a way to past the day and help make Half-Sack better. Chibs and some of the other men watch on as Half-Sack beats on Lowell. "Half-Sack, bomaye. Get in there, kid." Chibs ordered as he stood from the bench he had been talking to Adrian on. Adrian Janowitz was the second to the youngest of the Janowitz siblings and second to the youngest boys in his family. He had recently received his full patch of the Charming charter five month ago. Chibs' hand slipped his phone into his jean pockets as he finished his phone call with Peyton. She had called to inform him that she'd be heading to the hospital for a check up on her daughter, Lorena and wouldn't be back at his place until later in the evening.

Chibs glanced at Half-Sack and rolled his eyes at the prospect. "Now you're getting cocky. Anyone can beat up a junkie, Prospect. Doesn't mean shit." The man stated as he walked past the boxing ring and slowly towards the bench. He took a seat as he watched as the Prospect and Lowell continued practicing. "Where's Jay?" Chibs questioned in his accented voice.

"Hands up Lowell!" Bobby called out as stood at the bench that Tig was sitting at. Tigs left leg was bent at an angle while the other was hanging straight out. A can of beer was in his hand as he drank it down.

"My money's on Lowell." He stated to Blaze and King who were making their way out of the clubhouse and walking towards them.

"I wouldn' bet my money on either of 'em" Blaze replied with a shake of his head as he took a swig from the beer bottle in his hand.

"He ain't gonna learn shit if he doesn't have good enough competition." King stated uncaring. "A junkie is too fucking easy to beat the shit out of." He pulled a cigarette from the carton that had been in his back pocket and slipped it between his lips. Kingston pulled out a black, zippo lighter from the same pocket his carton had been in. He gave the wheel a few pulls before it finally sputtered to life. His other hand protected the flame from the cool breeze while held it to the cigarette. He inhaled the smoke and released it slowly through his lips and then tossed Blaze the carton and lighter so he could have his own cigarette.

"He's on a beer run." Blaze replied, suddenly recalling the question Chibs had asked. He took another swig of his beer before tossing the empty bottle into the trash can off to the side. With ease of someone who had done this countless of time Blaze lit the cigarette. He inhaled and slowly exhaled as he enjoyed his fix of nicotine.

"Things all better with the little missus now?" Tig questioned. The other men stopped their conversation and turned to see Clay hanging his helmet and gloves on the bike.

"My balls are still attached." He replied, making the others nod in sympathy. Gemma Teller-Morrow was one scary woman when pissed off. The way she reacted towards seeing Cherry was proof of that. It made the Janowitz brothers feel for Jax, as Sam was just as terrifying. The difference between the two women though was that it took a lot of make Sam scary angry and pissed off. When she was pissed off, everyone had better run for safety. "Shit, Lowell, get out of there." Clay hollered over to Lowell. "Whose idea was this?" He asked as he looked at the men. Blaze and King only pointed at Tig and Bobby.

"Bobby's. Tigs." Tigs and Bobby said in unison as he exhaled out a lung full of smoke from his cigarette. They had all been passing the carton around for anyone who wanted to have a smoke.

"I don't...I don't mind it, Clay" Lowell said breathlessly as he leaned against the side of the ring. "I'm just...helping Half-Sack train." He finished as he wiped the sweat off his forehead with the back of his arm.

"Well, you killed enough brain cells." The President glanced at the men lazing around before turning back to Lowell. "Come on, come on, back to work." Clay ordered as he took a seat on the bench. "How's he doing?" He questioned Tig. Blaze and King went back to their conversation about the latest run they would need to do on Clay's orders.

"The latest round of rehab seems to be sticking. He hasn't missed any work." Tig replied as he looked at the man and leaned back against the table with a carelessness about him.

"If I could get A.A. to kick up a vig, Lowell could make us all rich." The statement held truth to the words, and everyone in hearing distance new it. Lowell had been in and out of rehabs for years. No matter what they tried, the man always fell back into familiar habits.

"He's always been a freak" Bobby remarked in a condescending way as he bent forward and leaned his arms on the table. "He's a damn good mechanic. I guess you taught him that." He added as he glanced at Clay over his rectangular black reading glasses. He only used them when he was doing paperwork or reading something.

Jax sauntered over the group and glanced at Half-Sack talking to Cherry. "How's Sugar Ray One-Nut looking?" He asked as he pulled a barrel over to the group and took a seat.

"He's wicked fast. He's got a great right hook." Chibs stated as he glanced over at Half-Sack.

"How much money gets thrown around at these bare-fist things?" Clay looked towards Tig as the man began to reply.

"The purse is okay, but it's the betting that's gone crazy." He took off his sunglasses and hung it on his cut pocket. "I know a couple of guys last year, made six figures each." He stated at his blue eyes looked at Clay.

"Really?" The interest on Clay's face was clear to everyone that he had an idea in mind.

"The Prospect could knock those lightweights out any day of the week." They looked over at Half-Sack whom was holding his weight with his arms on the bench as he flirted with Cherry.

"Absolutely." Tig agreed with a nod of his head.

"What'd we pull together for McKeavy?" The question was pointed at Bobby. He was the one that calculated their money for the payment towards the True IRA to get their guns.

"120." Bobby stated as his eyes followed what Clay was looking at. "You ain't thinking about betting on the Prospect?" He asked incredulously as he looked back at Clay.

"You know, if Half-Sack takes his first five fights and looks strong going into the finish, we control how it ends. Could be a huge payday." Tig was willing to do whatever the President suggested if it meant getting their guns.

"What do you think?" Clay questioned as he glanced at Jax who sat on his left.

Jax shrugged before speaking. He leaned forward with his arms hanging over his knees and looked at Clay. "I don't know. But I do know there's no way we're raising 80 grand in the next four days, so...might be our only shot." The men surrounding him nodded in silent agreements. They had gotten money from King, Adrian, Felix and Whitney, but it was far below what they really needed.

"I'm in." Clay decided with a nod.

Tig shrugged and lit up another cigarette. "I'm in."

"Done." Chibs agreed as he looked at the other men.

"All right, I'm in." Bobby added from where he sat beside Clay.

"Let's hope this works. I'm in." Blaze leaned against the chair he sat in. His eyes were close and a cigarette was held between his lips as he basked in the warm sun rays.

"I'm all for it." King added in agreement. "But someone's gotta make sure the Prospect succeeds." He added with a raised eyebrow towards Clay. He silently questioned the President on how this would happen.

"Take 50 grand. I want to see it triple. You're going to train him. No booze, no weed, no pussy." Chibs and Tig nodded their understandings on what they were supposed to do. They would need Jamie to help them succeed. Jamie was well known for street fighting and how brutal he could be while doing so.

Bobby turned towards Clay. "That includes the Nevada sweet-butt?" The other man asked as he raised his eyebrow and took a swig of his lukewarm beer.

"Until I'm up a 100K," Clay stated as he looked around at each of the men surrounding him, "the Nevada sweet-butt can cool on the counter." He knew that the others would help keep the Prospect in check. As much as they all knew Half Sack had a thing for the girl, he'd have some competition with Jamie wanting in on some of that ass. It also looked like she wasn't minding it, Clay noticed as he looked over at where Half-Sack stood flirting with the sweet ass.

"King, do me a favor. Push up on that thing, will you?" Clay ordered as he looked at the handsome young man. King was well known for taking many different partners for some fun and never has he been denied.

King looked mildly surprised as he raised his eyebrows. "Really?" He asked with interest as he glanced over at where Cherry and Half-Sack stood talking.

"Really." He replied. Clay knew that King couldn't resist a piece of ass when it came to it. Everyone knew the Kingston "King" Janowitz was a player like his father. He couldn't resist trying out the new Crow Eaters just for the fuck of it. It was just who he was.

King shrugged in silent agreement to doing it. That didn't mean he wouldn't act like he cared. "Half-Sacks all 'bout that pussy now," he stated with a smirk as he exhaled some smoke from his lungs.

Clay didn't really care as he looked at King. "I want to see if she's all about him. And go at it hard."

"I ain't mad at that." King remarked as he looked at the younger woman talking to the Prospect.

Jax shook his head in amusement. "Half-Sack's going to lose his mind."

"Well, that kind of anger we can really use. Call Unser; see if he wants in on some of this fight action." Clay ordered Jax.

Jax shook his head as he looked at Clay. "Clay, he's out on the job. Water and Power dug up some old bones this morning."

"Where?" Clay questioned.

Jax's eyebrows raised at the questioned. "Out on 44," Tigs and Clay shared a silent conversation at his statement. At their look, Jax knew that something was wrong, that they may have had a hand in what happened to those bodies. "What?" He asked with an exasperated undertone. Clay sent Jax a look that silently told him to follow him.

"When Jay gettin' back?" Chibs questioned from where he stood in the shade, his arms crossed over his chest. He watched as Clay, Tigs and Jax left on their bikes to deal with whatever new crisis had arrived. His eyes turned away after they disappeared from sight. Instead he began to scan the parking lot, looking for a familiar head of light brown locks.

Blaze looked lazily over to his friend, distractedly played with his lighter. He flicked it on and off, entranced with the fire, while he used his free hand to play with the flame. "Should be here in a bit. Why?" He asked disinterestedly. Even as a boy he had been a pyromaniac, setting anything he could get his hands on, on fire. It was mainly because of him that Sam never played with dolls after the age of five, not after he set them on fire in the backyard of their old house.

"I'm gonna have Jay workin' with Half-Sack to train 'im. He was a kick boxer and street brawler in school, aye?" Chibs rhetorically replied.

"Yup, here he comes." Blaze stated as the tow truck pulled into the garages parking lot. Jamie jumped out of the truck and lifted a few cases of alcohol out of the truck. Blaze, Bobby and Adrian walked over to the truck and pulled cases out and followed the prospect into the club house to restock the nearly depleted alcohol.

St. Thomas' Hospital

3:08 P.M.

The parking lot looked full when the Impala pulled into the parking lot. This made Sam drive through the aisles until she finally found a spot in the middle. She shut the engine off and slipped the keys into the front pocket of her jeans. Opening her door she stepped out and then lent back inside of the car. She pulled the front seat up and then leaned further into the backseat to unbuckle the car-seat. "Mama I'm hungry." Riley said as he raised his hands to his chest while she unbuckled his booster seat.

Samantha looked down at the boy with a raised eyebrow. "Didn't I just give you a snack on the way here?" She rhetorically asked Riley. She knew she had handed him a small package of fruit snacks before driving to the hospital. Even before they left the house she had made them lunch. So she didn't know how he was hungry already. Then again, he was a growing boy.

"Yeah huh," He replied with an adorable smile on his face.

"Just like his father, a pit for a stomach." Sam muttered under her breath as she helped Riley out of the car. Setting him on the floor she leans back into the car she grabbed her over the messenger bag and Riley's backpack filled with toys and snacks to keep in entertained. "Come on honey, time to put your backpack on." She stated as she helped her son put his Captain America backpack on. When he had his bag on she placed her messenger bag over her right shoulder. "It's time to go see your brother." She smiled as she held Riley's hand in her left.

"Yay!" Riley cheered happily. He loved seeing him baby brother and talking with him. His daddy had given him a "very important job" as his mama had called it. He was supposed to help his mama watch over Abel whenever they saw him. He would help her take care of him when he finally got to take him home.

"Excited?" Samantha asked with a smile down at her oldest son. Riley was not a baby anymore as he had made abundantly clear a few days ago when she had called him "baby". Her smile grew at the memory. Jax had laughed so hard at the expression on their sons face and on her own when her own son gave her sass.

"Yeah huh." They walked through the sliding entrance doors and into the crowded first floor. Not wanting to lose Riley in the crowd Samantha easily and swiftly placed the boy on her hip as she made her way to the check in counter. "Mama!" Riley whined as he struggled to be let back down. He was a big boy! He didn't need to be picked up and carried like a baby!

"Behave Riley." Sam stated sternly as he kicked her thigh. Riley frowned and pouted, arms crossed and lip jutted down. "You act like your father when he doesn't get his way." She sighed exasperatedly. She meant the way Jax seemed to pout when she denied him sex, especially if he pissed her off. But it had been nearly ten months since they had pissed each other off, but Sam knew it was bound to happen sooner or later.

"He's adorable." A voice behind Samantha spoke. Sam startled, having been so distracted with her thoughts she had forgotten where she was for a moment. Turning Sam noticed a young woman who looked to be twenty-four-years-old. She was a strawberry blonde, with dark blue eyes and naturally pale skin. Her hands were loosely gripping a black and pink Graco modes click connect travel system stroller - Francesca. In the stroller looked like an almost month old little girl, who was dozing peacefully.

"Thank you, she's beautiful." Sam said in return, and meant it. The newborn was very pretty with strawberry blonde hair like her mother and pale skin.

"Thank you. I'm sorry, I'm being very rude. My name is Peyton, Peyton Williamson." Peyton said with a smile as she held out her hand over the stroller and waited for Sam to shake it.

Samantha's smile became stiff, though it was not noticeable unless the person she was smiling at knew her. So this was the woman Gemma wanted her to spy on and figure out why she was back in Charming. It was lucky for Sam that she found Peyton when she was waiting in line. Sam shook her hand and introduced herself. "Samantha Janowitz, but you can call me Sam, everyone does." Their hands released and Sam took a few steps forward as the line moved.

Peyton followed her as she pushed the stroller forward. "I know," Peyton blurted before wincing at how that sounded. Sam turned around so she was slightly facing the younger woman and raised an eyebrow. She waited patiently for her to explain what she meant. "I mean, I saw you in pictures in Chibs place. He explained who you are." She explained as she worried her lip. Samantha made Peyton nervous. She had this air to her that made people want to listen to her and defer to her.

"Well, Chibs never mentioned you," Sam said with a pleasantly fake smile. She knew it was a bit cruel saying that, but it was the honest truth. She also just felt irate around the younger woman. "I hope it was all good things about me." She stepped up to the counter and signed in and waited off at the side for Peyton to sign in. There was something about Peyton that made Sam's bitch side shine through and she wasn't sure why. She had this sixth sense that Peyton was hiding something. "So you are staying with Chibs?" She re-questioned. She wanted to know more about Peyton and why she was back. Not just because of Gemma but because of her feelings.

"Mama…can I walk please?" Riley asked his mother as he lifted his head up off her shoulder.

"Sure Ri." Sam set the boy on his feet and reached for his hand and held it in hers. He would otherwise wander off and give her a heart attack for doing so.

The strawberry blonde winced at the stinging remark and tried to brush it off. "It was all good things." Peyton reassured her. Not that Sam needed to be reassured. She knew Chibs would never say anything too insulting about her. Not that she would feel bothered if he did. She was used to it having five brothers and growing up in the club. She and Chibs were very close. "Chibs highly respects you and holds your opinions very dear." She stated as the two women and Riley stepped into the elevator. They both clicked for different levels.

Samantha wondered what angle Peyton was playing at telling her this. The thing that bugged Sam was that she couldn't see any motive except for being friendly with her. She knew the boys and they all respected her. At rare times they even asked for her help. "I would hope so." She replied simply. They stood in silence while they watched the numbers change. Finally at the level for Abel's room appeared and elevator came to a stop. "It was nice meeting you." Sam said while she stepped out.

"Bye!" Riley called back to her and waving as they walked down the hallway. "She was pretty mama." He looked up at Samantha with a smile.

"Yes she was Ri." Sam replied with a small smile.

"Not as pretty as you though. Daddy said no one is prettier than you mama." Riley complimented and reiterated his father's words.

Samantha chuckled at her son and how much of a sap Jax could be behind closed doors. That's what she loved about Jax. Their relationship was not very open in public and it wasn't because they hid what they had together. They were themselves and couldn't care less what people thought. It was because they wanted the connection they had between them to be special. Sure they hugged, kissed and held each other but it wasn't all the time and they didn't make it sickening like some couples did.

Pulling out her cellphone Samantha pressed the number on her screen that was in her long list of contacts and held the phone to her. She listened to it ring while Riley entertained himself by hopping and humming to himself. The phone clicked and showed that someone had answered. "Damien I need you skill," She began as she turned down a hallway. Riley followed along happily as he swung their hands. "On a woman named Peyton Williamson. Call me when you get it done."

"Consider it done in a couple of days or less." The response was followed by another click and then the dial tone. Samantha was always amazed at how paranoid her friend was. Though he was on the list of the FBI, CIA and other government agencies because of his hacking skills with a computer. He was only her age too, which was amazing and a little frightening with how good he is. Shaking her thoughts away she stepped inside Abel's room and paused at the sight of Clay staring down at Abel.

"Grandpa Clay!" Riley exclaimed excitedly. He let go of Samantha's hand and ran to his "grandfather" with his arms open for a hug.

"Hey kid." Clay stated as he smiled and stepped away from the baby incubator equipment. Abel was still protectively inside. He bent down and caught the boy in his arms and held him up against his chest. Riley placed his small hands on the man's shoulders. "You being good for your mom?" He asked his step-grandson with a raised eyebrow.

"Yeah huh," Riley replied with a nod and smile that showed his baby teeth. "I'm always good." He said it in such a way that it made Sam and Clay think of Jax.

"He likes to think he is." Samantha said teasingly with a shake of her head. A small smile tugged at her lips.

"If he's anythin' like you and Jax, I bet he's a real rascal." Clay stated while he tickled Riley. It made the boy release loud giggles that stirred Abel awake. Clay stopped as he set the boy on his feet.

"Hey little man it's okay." Samantha soothed a she stood across from Clay. The small baby settled at the sound of his mother's warm voice. Not that he could really understand what she was saying, it was the tone of voice that truly calmed him down.

"Mama, can I play please?" Riley asked as he tugged at her pant leg.

"Sure baby." Samantha helped Riley take off his backpack and made her oldest sit beside the walking chair. She softly spoke to Riley, telling him to behave and play with his toys while she talked to Clay. She handed him some of his figurines and a snack set beside him. Standing from her crouched position she walked back over to Abel and Clay.

"Samantha we need to talk." Clay stated to her. Sam looked down at Abel with furrowed eyebrows and a frown. What would Clay need to speak to her about?

"About what?" She questioned with hesitation. She had a feeling that whatever it was, it was serious. Was it about Jax, her brothers or the boys in the club? What could he possibly need to speak to her about?

Same Time

"All right, Tara's not here." Jax stated as he looked out the room while scanning for the familiar brunette. Had she been there it would be a lot easier on everyone but Jax was not a quitter. All he needed was a new avenue to work with. Noticing the lab coat and key card a new idea came to mind.

"What do you want to do?" Tig asked as he set the newspaper back into its wooden holder.

"Lab coat on the chair. You distract the doctors." He stated as he nodded to the coat hanging off the chair. Jax peeked into the room as he explained his plan to the older man.

Jax's hands were stuffed into his jean pockets as he stayed by the doorway and watched Tig execute the plan. "Yeah, not a problem." Tig stated over his shoulder and walked swiftly towards the doctors. "Excuse me, ladies. How you doing?" He asked as he placed the black bag on top of the magazine covered table and quickly continued. "You're doctors, both of you?" He began unbuckling his belt and unbuttoning his jeans at the nods the two nurses gave. "Thank God. Doberman pinscher, you know, took a chunk..." He stated as he turned around to show the doctors the wound.

"Jesus Christ." The nurses exclaimed as they jumped to their feet and away from Tig. Jax looked on in amusement at exactly how Tig distracted them. He slipped the ID tag off when the nurses walked towards the door.

"No, hang on. It took a chunk out of my ass." Tig stated to them quickly and pulled his pants up.

"You need to go to the ER." One of the nurses replied. They swiftly walked out of the room and away from the two Sons.

"Distract them. I said distract them, not scar them for life." Jax was amused at how Tig had handled distracted the doctors. He knew Sam would be too when she heard about what they did to get the key card.

"No, shit, I'm serious. Man, I think it's infected." Tig stated as he followed after Jax into the hallway and towards an elevator. His belt and pants were now buckled and buttoned and they were free to head to where Clay was hanging out at, waiting for them. "Think Sam or Tara can give it a look at?" He questioned the younger blonde haired male.

"Man, you gotta ask Sammy if you really want to know." He shook his head as they stepped into the elevator. "Tara, well she doesn't like dealin' with Club business. Especially not after Zeke's arrest." Jax added and pressed the floor button they needed and leaned against the elevator in patience.

Tig nodded his head in agreement about Tara. She never did like the Club, but she loved Zeke so she stuck around. His head tilted in thought as he considered asking Sam. She did have her MD-PhD in medicine and psychology, with a minor in business. "Think she would?" Jax only shrugged in response. The idea had merit. It would certainly be easier having it looked at by someone in "the family" so to speak. Instead of having a doctor look at it and ask questions. "I'll ask." He decided with a nod.

The elevators opened and the two men walked down the hallway. Tig stopped before he reached Abel's room while Jax continued on. He paused at the window to see Clay watching Abel and Sam reading to Riley as he sat on her lap. Jax smiled at the sight and slipped into the room. He shut the door behind him when he stepped inside. " Hey, man. I managed to steal a key card from an intern." He stated as he stood on the other side of Abel's incubator. "Hopefully it gets us below." He added and handed the key card to Clay.

"Tig and I take care of this." Clay responded while taking the card and looked over at his step-son. "Why don't you stay here and run interference." He said more to the younger man when he noticed Tara passing the window and stepping into the room.

Jax looked suspicious and curious to know why they didn't want him down there with them. "Why?" He questioned. Sam kept silent while the two men spoke and continued to play with Riley. Clay didn't know she knew everything they have done in the club and it was better to keep it that way. Even though she was almost positive he wouldn't hurt her it was better to be cautious around the older man.

Clay ignored his question and looked back down at the two, almost three month old. "Hey Doc, kid looks strong, huh?" He stated as he looked at Tara and back at Abel. "Kids got his parents gene through and through."

Tara gave a small forced smile to Clay. "Yeah," She replied as she nodded at him and placed her hands on her hips. Clay has always made Tara uncomfortable. Even after all these years of dating and then marrying Zeke and becoming more part of the Sons. Since her husband's imprisonment the men of SAMCRO have helped her with anything she need. As they "took care of their own", as they had stated after Zeke was sent off to prison.

Jax looked down at Abel and smiled until a frown appeared when he noticed Sam's expression. She was looking down at the book in hand as she softly read from the pages. He could just barely make out what she was saying.

"Big A, little a, what begins with A?" Samantha softy read into her son's ear while he looked at the picture of a woman sitting atop of an alligator. "Aunt Annie's alligator. A…a…A." She said and turned the page. "Big B, little b, what begins with B?" The picture showed a barber with scissors cutting a baby's hair, a boy blowing bubbles and a bumblebee. "Barber, baby, bubbles and a bumblebee." She let Riley look at the page before the four-year-old turned it so it showed the next page.

"Big C, little c, what begins with C?" She wondered aloud to her son. Riley looked at the page depicting a camel on a ceiling with two children looking up. "A camel on the ceiling C…c…C." Samantha glanced up at Jax and smiled before looking back down at the book. Riley tiredly tapped her hand to continue reading.

"You have a good night, all right?" Clay stated as he gave her shoulder a squeeze. He headed out of the room towards where Tig was waiting.

A reply of "You, too." was said to his back as he left. "A nurse said you wanted to see me." Tara questioned as she looked at her best friends, and sister-in-laws, fiancé. She was beyond happy for Sam and Jax. They finally gave into their desires of being a family completely. Everyone had wondered if it was ever going to happen. Sam and Jax were well known for being stubborn, almost to a pig headed level at times. It was a well-known fact in Charming that one of the many reasons they had gotten out of trouble so much as kids and teens was because of how stubborn they've always been.

Jax nodded his head slowly as he walked over to Sam and Riley. "I did. I wanted to let you know that my ma is takin' Luke, Beth and Riley in two days. She said somethin' 'bout givin' you and Sammy a break." He said with a shrug with a he crouched down beside his sleepy son and a tired Sam. To see his fiancé, his gorgeous Old Lady relaxing in the rocking chair, holding their son in her arms with Abel close by was a sight that made a smile tug at his lips.

"Oh, okay. Thanks for letting me know." Tara replied with a smile. "It'll be nice having a night of rest." She looked at her sister-in-law and nephew with a smile. It was amazing how instinctively Samantha took to being a mother. Tara herself had, had a harder time at it in the beginning. When Zeke was taken and sent to prison she had to quickly learn to be a mother easier. It was only when she realized she had only herself to raise her children, most of the time, that she had to.

"I'm going to head back to work," She said, pointing her thumb over her shoulder at the door. The two were pretty uncomfortable around each other. They don't talk to each other unless Sam was around. "You should read to him while Sam and Riley get some rest." Tara suggested before turning and walking out of the room. She shut the door quietly behind herself and continued to make her rounds.

"Hey babe." Sam said softly with a sleepy smile. The rocking chair was very comfortable and made her want to fall asleep.

"Hi daddy." Riley tiredly raised limp arms out for a hug from his father. He hoped that he and his daddy would get to go to the park like his mama had told him they would. His mama always kept her word and was always right. So she had to be right about him and daddy going to the park.

"Hey buddy." Jax said and hugged the boy. Riley remained seated in Sam's lap as father and son hugged. Pulling away slowly Jax rubbed Riley's head gently and kissed his forehead. He stood carefully and leaned forward so he could brush the wavy brunette locks out of Samantha's face. He kissed her on the top of her head that was followed by a soft brush of their lips. Samantha smiled as she looked into bright blues.

"What are you doing here?" She questioned. She sat up slowly and gripped on Riley tighter so he didn't fall as the child was starting to nod off. He curled into a ball on his mother's lap.

"Just checkin' in. I'm 'bout to go help Clay and Tig. I wanted to let you know I'll meet you at home later." Jax whispered and stood up and ran his hand through his hair.

"Okay. I'll see you then. I'm going to stay here for a little while longer. Then I'll go fill the Impala up." Sam stated. "You go do what you have to and I'll see you at home." They kissed for a few short but sweet seconds and then pulled away. "I love you." She whispered with a warm smile.

"I love you too." Jax replied with a quick smile. He turned on his heels and left the room to head to the basement to help Clay and Tig with the skeletons.

The Teller Residence

5:18 P.M.

Samantha held Riley in her arms as she walked slowly up the pathway. Her arms were full with some new baby things Gemma had given to her when she had dropped by her house. After seeing Abel, she had informed Gemma on what had occurred when she met Peyton. It had been a long day and all Sam wanted to do was relax and spend some time alone while Riley slept. She dug into her pant pockets and pulled out her keys. Unlocking the door she nudged it open with her leg and stepped into the entryway. She set her purse down and used her foot to close the door behind her.

Riley was breathing through his mouth as he slept on peacefully. His head rest on her shoulder and his eyelids fluttered as he dreamed. He was undisturbed by the loud sounds of the front door slamming shut or the rustling of the bags that were in the baby bath tub. He was exhausted and had knocked out once they were in the Impala.

Sam didn't have the heart to wake him, so she let him sleep on. Her heeled boots were quiet as she walked on the carpeted floor. Turning down the hallway she stopped in front of Riley's room and was horrified by what she saw. Her oldest son's room was trashed, toys and books were thrown around. Clothes tossed out of drawers and the closet.

"Oh my god." Samantha gasped out as she looked around the room. Turning away she took a few steps and stopped at Abel's room. She pushed the door open and felt her stomach turn. The room was as bad, if not worse than Riley's own room. It was trashed and she had to step carefully around the room. "Holy shit." She gasped out as her boot stepped into a puddle of piss. Shaking her head in disgust and anger she left the nursery and walked out into the living room.

Samantha lay Riley carefully on the couch. His head rested on a couch pillow and he curled onto his side, his front to the back of the couch as he slept on. She pulled out her phone and dialed Jax's number. "Hey baby, I-" Jax began but he was cut off from finishing his sentence.

"You need to come home now." Sam stated stiffly as she ran a rough hand through her thick dark brown hair. "Bring Gemma if she's with you." She added before hanging up.

Samantha paced as she waited for Jax and Gemma to appear. Ten minutes passed before the sound of the front door opening and closing brought her out of her racing thoughts. "Hey you okay?" Jax asked as he moved towards her in a few short steps. Gemma followed behind him with furrowed brows.

"No, I need to show you both something." Samantha walked past them and headed for the boys rooms. Jax and Gemma followed and stopped beside Sam as they stared inside the destroyed room. Gemma had a horrified expression on her face. All Jax's could feel was rage and he was starting to see red.

"Who did this?" Gemma demanded as she walked into Abel's room. Jax and Sam followed her into the room and the couple shared a look that caught Gemma's attention.

"ATF." Jax stated through clenched teeth. There was no doubt who he desecrated his children's room. There was only one individual who would do something like that. His eyes were dark with rage that, that motherfucker had done this to their son's room. He was either going to kill or fucking make Kohn wish he was when he finished with him.

Gemma turned to look at the couple with narrowed eyes. Her arms crossed over her chest as she looked between them. "Why?" She asked with anger that somebody would vandalize her grandchildren's rooms.

Samantha rubbed her face tiredly as she stared at the mess the nursery had turned into. All that hard work was thrown out the window,. She would have to clean the boy's room again and make it as it as it had been before. She sighed before answering, "It's because of me. I...went on a few dates with Kohn nearly two years ago," She looked to Gemma with a frown. "He got violent so I left him...he started stalking me soon after. It took three precincts to finally get a restraining order."

Gemma stayed silent as Sam explained why Kohn was getting into the business of Sam Crow. It all made sense now to Gemma. She felt this urge to rip Kohn a new one for stalking and hurting Sam. "Three months before I left for Europe he found me. So I moved to New York and then had the opportunity three months later to leave for Europe and I took it." She paused as she took a deep breath in before exhaling. "When I realized how much I missed it here and how much I missed Jax I came back...and then Kohn found me again and now he's been stalking Jax and I since Riley was in the hospital for that lung infection."

"That motherfucker." Gemma cursed with a shake of her head. "That bastard has been stalking and following you around because you left his sorry abusive ass." She stated with an angry expression on her face. She really hated ATF agents.

"This guy's dead" Jax stated angrily as he turned and left the destroyed nursery.

"At least." Gemma replied back to him as he was leaving. Samantha nodded in agreement and together they started cleaning the nursery and then Riley's room. They listened as the front door slammed shut behind them. It was silent for a few minutes before the sound of Jax's motorcycle rumbled to life. The bike sped out of the driveway out into the streets before the noise completely disappeared. They knew he was going to find Kohn and they hoped Jax beat the shit out of him.

The next couple of hours were spent cleaning. Clay had appeared a half hour after Jax left and was leaning against the cabinet as he watched the pair clean the mess that was the nursery. They had already cleaned Riley's room and were now working on finishing Abel's. Samantha stayed mostly silent as Gemma and Clay spoke of Kohn and then Lowell.

The air seemed to thicken as Tig stepped into the nursery and looked around in surprise at its state of disarray. He snapped out of it and explained that Lowell had disappeared and that Moby had been found locked in the bathroom of Lowell's apartment crying. Sam acted like she didn't hear them murmuring about killing Lowell in few words that she knew meant getting rid of him.

Samantha ignored what they said and continued cleaning. She'd tell Jax what she heard later tonight. When everyone left and Jax had come back.

The Teller Residence

7:20 P.M.

Samantha sat in the rocking chair and looked around Abel's room. It was spotless once again and the smell that had appeared because of the urine was long gone. She used her foot to slowly rock herself as she leaned her head back and close her eyes. She startled at the feeling of a hand brushing her hair out of her face. Green eyes looked up to see Jax standing over her with a small smile. "Hey, I thought you'd be at the fight." She stated as she stood from her position on the rocking chair.

"I've had enough fights today." Jax replied as he stepped back, limping while he did so. He walked over to the crib and touched one of the cars that hung on the mobile. His eyes scanned the room as he leaned against the cradle. He had looked in on Riley and had spent a little time watching his son sleep. It still amazed him four, nearly five, years later that he had such an innocent, sweet and adorable child to call his own and now he had another child, another son.

It was mind blowing but he was happy to have his small family with Sammy. He had loved her since they were kids. It had turned into something more when he was fifteen-years-old and he realized he cared about her more than a friend should. He had waited a whole year before asking her out. He had been relieved that she had felt the same and agreed. It was one of the best choices he ever made.

Jax was glad to see both of his son's rooms as they should be. He had been livid at what had been done to them. Now it was back to the way they had it been before the incident. He snapped out of his thoughts when Sammy spoke. "Come on, let's head to bed. We're both beat and ready to crash." Sam held out her hand for him to take. Jax grasped it and held it tight as the two walked/limped slowly out of the nursery and down the hallway to their bedroom. Walking to the bed Samantha gently pushed him until he collapsed on it backwards.

"You okay?" She asked gently. She bent down and untied the laces of his boots. She pulled his socks off and placed the boots and socks beside her at the foot of the bed. Sam stood and leaned forward, unbuckling his belt and unbuttoning his denims.

"With you taking care of me like this, I'm more than fine." Jax replied with a smirk. Samantha playfully rolled her eyes in amusement while she carefully began pulling his light blue jeans down. He lifted his thighs as she carefully moved the jeans over his wounded thigh. Once they were past his thighs she tugged them the rest of the way off. With a careless movement of her arm she tossed the pants somewhere off to the side.

Jax spread his legs and Sam took the invitation and knelt between them. She leaned forward and hovered above her fiancé. Jax's eyes peaked between his lidded eyelids as he watched his Sammy undress him slow and teasingly. "Hmm, I bet you are." She teased as she tapped his shoulder in a silent request for him to sit up. Jax leaned up on his elbows and allowed her to pull his cut off. She set to the foot of the bed so it could be moved later. Thin, slim fingers slowly rubbed up his chest while Samantha slowly unbuttoned his shirt. She felt like she was unwrapping a present as inch by delicious inch skin began to appear as the shirt came undone. Sam slid the shirt off, her fingers lightly grazing against his smooth, chiseled chest. The sensation made Jax shudder at the light touches.

"You drive me crazy, you know that?" Jax said as he sat up and pulled her to him. Samantha crawled on top of him and placed herself above his lap, hovering over him so she didn't touch his bandaged thigh.

"I'm doing something right then." Sam whispered as she brushed her lips against his. A slow and heated kiss was shared. Samantha pulled away leisurely and began to trail kisses down his jaw and neck. Nipping, biting and sucking she left her marks on his neck. Jax's hands tightened on her waist as her hot breath sent shivers down his spine as she murmured in his ear. "There's so many things I want you to do to me." Her fingers traced trails down his chest and stomach. Her fingers traced down his happy trail and stopped above his boxer briefs. She whispered against his ear as she continued speaking. "You want it too...but I don't want to hurt your leg more." She bit his ear and gave it a small tug with her teeth. The sharp sting was enough to make Jax mad with lust.

Jax couldn't take the torture of Sam leaning just above his dick. He wanted her to finish sliding her hand downward, to pull his briefs the rest of the way down and give him a hand job or blow job, but she wasn't doing anything about it. His girl was definitely a tease, but he knew she did it purposely to see how far she could go before he snapped. Jax flipped them and Sam was the one now laying on the bed on her back. He placed his arms at the side of her head, placing most of his weight on his forearms as he hovered above her. He left lingering kisses on her neck and at some points his teeth nipped at her lightly tanned, nearly pale skin, before soothing the marks with his tongue.

Samantha quivered as her fingers ran down his back. Her hands stopped at his waist and slid the black boxer briefs off. Jax kicked the boxers away, ignoring the tug on his thigh from the wound. He leaned up and away from Sam. He quickly began to undress his prize after a long shitty night. Sam leaned up on her elbows and allowed for her top to be pulled off and tossed away. Her form fitting jeans came next as he unbuttoned them and shimmied out of her pants and kicked them to the floor. He pulled her against him and their lips meet in a kiss filled with tongue and teeth. His hand went behind her back as he kissed down her jaw and neck. Sam moaned when he bit down on the juncture between her neck and shoulder.

Jax soothed the mark with the slide of his tongue. At the same time he unclipped her bra and slid it off. His hand trailed down her toned stomach, careful of the near healing cut on her stomach. It had been twenty five days since the c-section. Jax was pretty fucking certain they weren't supposed to be having sex anytime soon, or some bullshit like that. She was just too damn irresistible. She was lucky to have lost the baby fat so fast with her fast metabolism. His fingers slid past her belly button and to her underwear that he slid down smooth legs.

Jax pushed Sam gently back on the bed and hovered am inch or so above her. Their naked bodies pressed against each other in a feeling of warmth and need. It had been a long day and what Jax needed the most at the moment was lying beneath him with a taunting smirk on her pink, kissable lips and sparkling green eyes. He was going to enjoy hearing those lips moaning out his name, among other things. They didn't necessarily have to have intercourse, but they could still get each other off.

The Teller Residence

Later that Night

"I'm sure you heard about those employees from the Water and Power Board, workin' near State Rd. 44, that found some old skeletons while layin' pipes earlier today," Jax began as he lay between Samantha's legs. This was their nightly ritual, speaking about their day and getting everything off their chests or helping each other figure out a problem they needed to deal with. His arms were crossed on her stomach, below the healing scar, with his chin rested atop of his arms. She ran her slim fingers through his messy, long blonde hair, while listening to him vent.

"When I found out I went to tell Clay, but they were decidin' on how to earn the funds we need to pay for the guns from the True IRA. We all decided to enter Half-Sack into a bare-knuckle boxin' competition." Jax explained with a shake of his head. He knew they shouldn't have done it, but they needed to earn the money some way. "He was a former Lightweight Champion of the Armed Forces, so we figured he could win and we'd have our money." He traced the area beneath her breasts, drawing invisible lines on her naked skin with his calloused fingers. It made Sam shiver at the touch and yearn from him. While they could unfortunately not have sex in the normal sex, they still had ways to get each other off. He still drove her crazy when he did this though. They were always trying to get the other lusting for each other and to see who would break first. It seemed it was her turn, again.

"They told the Prospect to win his first five fights then take a dive in the sixth. This should have allowed Sam Crow to bet on his underdog opponent and earn a large pay-off." Samantha had a feeling that their little plan didn't turn out like it was supposed to. Something more than likely went wrong. "They had him trained by Chibs with the help of Jamie and Blaze" He stated. Jamie Janowitz, also known as Jay, was the youngest sibling and boy in the family. He was the baby at twenty-years-old and a prospect of Sam Crow.

"Anyways I told Clay 'bout the bodies and he told us that the bodies were Mayans killed in the Sam Crow-Mayan War of '91, and that we needed to stop the bodies from being identified." Jax kissed the palm of her hand and up her wrist as his hands played with her fingers while he spoke. Sam shuddered with a burning need to feel Jax inside her again. She pushed those feelings away for the moment and instead concentrated on what he had told her.

"Did you really believe he told you the truth?" Samantha questioned. She knew Clay and Gemma had dark, dirty secrets that they've kept hidden and have continued to keep hidden from everyone over the years. She knew some of those secrets, however unwilling she was to know them and keep from them Jax but she had no choice. She couldn't help but wonder how long their secrets, most of them anyways, would see the light of day. She was sure some of them would. Dirty secrets never seemed to stay hidden for long.

"Nah, I was suspicious 'bout it all. We needed to steal this key card to get into the morgue in the basement. Tig distracted 'em by showin' the bite mark on his ass. He made the doctors flee in disgust." Sam shook beneath him in laughter. She wished she could have seen it. It would have been priceless.

"Yeah Tig mentioned his bite to me. He asked if I could take a look at it." Jax's eyebrows furrowed and a frown crossed his lips. He raised himself on his arms and looked at Samantha. He hadn't thought Tig would take what he said seriously. "I looked at it and it was disgusting," She stated with a grimace. "But I gave him some cream to put on it with bandages. I had to clean it first but other than that, I hope I never have to see something like that again and I hope to never see Tigs lily white ass ever again." Sam stated seriously with a disturbed expression.

Jax's lips twitched at the expression on her face. A chuckle escaped before he could stop it as he imagined the horrified expression Sammy must have had to see Tigs dog bite on his ass. "Sorry, sorry," He snickered as Samantha pouted and lightly slapped the back of his head while he laughed at her misfortune. "I just - I never thought Tig would take my suggestion seriously about going to you to take a look at it."

"You jerk!" Samantha said with a laugh as she lightly slapped his shoulder as Jax lay back down. "I'm officially scarred for life thanks to you." She said dramatically and jokingly. She had seen a lot worst over her years of living with Sam Crow and then the ten years by herself. So seeing Tigs infected dog bite on his lily white ass wasn't even on her radar of disturbing.

"I didn't think he'd take it seriously." Jax said again with another chuckle. "After we saw you in Abel's hospital room - which reminds me - what did Clay say to you that had you upset earlier?" He asked as he looked at her in concern. He didn't want anyone making his Old Lady upset, not if he had a say in it.

"What...oh, yeah." Samantha said as she nodded her head. She hadn't exactly forgotten what he had told her, she just didn't want to think about it. "Clay said he got a call from Zeke," Jax froze as he looked up at Sam. Why would Zeke be calling Clay all of sudden? The last time they spoke was months ago, when Sammy was still in Europe.

"He said that my brother wanted to see me. He had heard from Tara that I was back in Charming and that I had Abel prematurely." Sam stated to Jax as she continued to play with his long hair. Jax wasn't sure if he wanted Sam to see Zeke by herself. He knew she'd be safe, that her brother would never hurt her, but there was this protectiveness that made him want to be by her side, especially if she was going to visit the prison.

"When you go, I wanna go with you." Jax replied firmly. This would be non-negotiable. He either went with her, or Opie did. He wanted someone he trusted to go with Samantha if she did go to the prison and he couldn't go with her.

Sam sighed but knew she couldn't argue with Jax about this, especially not when he cared and worried about her going on her own while even here in Charming. "Alright, fine." She agreed with a small smile as she leaned forward and kissed Jax on the mouth for a short kiss. "Now tell me what happened next."

Jax shrugged but continued to finish his anecdote. "Clay told me to wait outside and keep guard, while he and Tig broke into the morgue. When they found the first skeleton, Tig started about removin' his teeth with pliers – until I got bored outside and offered to help." Jax said with a roguish smirk. He quickly went back to being serious when he started speaking next.

Jax knew Sam had a soft spot for Lowell. She was a few years younger than him, but always seemed to act older of the two when they spoke. It was well known that Sam use to help out Lowell, especially with Moby and try to get him to overcome his drug addiction. "It turns out that the body has already been identified before we got there. It was Lowell Harland Sr. Clay claims that Lowell Sr. was killed by the Mayans and after exactin' revenge on his killers, Clay and Tig buried all three bodies together."

Sam frowned and her fingers paused in their movements at what she had just been told. "Jax..." She hesitantly began. She wanted to tell him the truth but she was afraid of what would happen if she did.

"I know Sammy. I don't believe that shit either. I know they had to have killed 'im for somethin'. I'm thinkin' they did it 'cause he was a 'junkie rat'." Jax said with a shake of his head. He couldn't understand the clubs need for senseless killings. There was other ways to deal with someone. Blackmail, threats and many other ways he knew a person could do besides killing. Though, ratting out their secrets was a death sentence, so he could understand killing Lowell Sr. for giving information to the Mayans. "As for the fight...far as I know Half-Sack blew the last fight when he saw Clay and Cherry together." At Sam's look he explained how he knew that. "I was told by your pissed off brothers."

Samantha nodded with lustful eyes as she played with Jax's hair. Jax looked at her with a smirk as he ran his hands tortuously slow up her sides. He sat up and leaned over her with his arms on the side of her head. "Up for round three?" He teased as he crushed their lips together. Tongues battle for dominance, fighting to be the winner. Sam's hands wrapped around Jax's neck as she played with his hair. She finally lost the battle and Jax's tongue mapped out her mouth, tasting her, and nipping her bottom lip with his teeth.

It was going to be a long but very fun night for the engaged pair.

The Next Day

Teller-Morrow Garage

11:06 A.M.

If there was ever a time Samantha felt frustrated and annoyed with Jax, it was now. She had told the man she loved that she had the money to help the club should they need it. Gemma had mentioned it to her earlier, in a not too subtle matter, that she should give the boys the money that club still needed, but her man just wasn't budging. "No." Jax stated shortly as he adjusted his hold on Riley. His four-year-old son was babbling away to his father, ignorant that his daddy wasn't completely listening as he was busy talking with his mama.

"Jax..." Sam tried to talk but was cut off.

"No Sammy. I'm not lettin' you give the club $35,000 just because Gemma mentioned it to you." Jax replied with a shake of his head. "You goin' with your ma to see your brother later?" He questioned his son, purposely and wordlessly telling Sam that the conversation was over. She tossed her hands up in an "I give up" manner and stormed away from the car in frustration and headed towards Jamie and Adrian.

"Little brothers of mine!" Samantha cheerfully greeted as she walked up to where they were standing before a car in the shop. She tossed her arms over their shoulders and smiled. "How has by my baby bro's been lately?" She questioned. It had been a couple of days since she's seen any of her brothers. Since Sam had come back three months ago she had spent free time with them, when she had it.

"Big sister o' mine. What do you want?" Adrian asked as he looked to his right.

"Nothing. What? I can't talk to my brothers?" Sam demanded with raised eyebrows.

"You want somethin'," Jamie said to Sam with a raised eyebrow. "She wants somethin'." He agreed as he looked at Adrian with a smirk. A favorite past time of her younger brothers was annoying her to the point of driving her crazy. It was an enjoyable sport for them, well for all of her brothers since she was the only girl.

From an early age Samantha had taken it upon herself to take care of them. They use to purposefully drive her mad with the shit they got into, until she became best friends with Jax and Opie. Then she had started to get into just as much trouble as her brothers.

Samantha huffed and shook her head. "I don't want anything." She replied as they ignored her and continued speaking over her. Rolling her eyes Sam stepped forward and looked the car over with an eye of a mechanic. When she was a little girl, instead of playing dolls because of Blaze and his pyromania, she was taught how to fix a car or cook. She was taught things that would help her in the long run. She reached a hand in the hood of the car and touched a few parts in the engine, looking for anything damaged. "Looks like a broken timing belt." Her statement caught her younger brother's attention.

"What?" They chorused in unison. Surprise was etched on their faces.

"If you two weren't pussy footin' around, you'd have seen that." Jax said from behind them. Riley was happily munching on a cookie his daddy had given him. They had stepped in the club house and to the kitchen in the back of the building for a drink of juice for the boy and had also grabbed a cookie.

"We weren't-"

"We were just-"

Adrian and Jamie spoke over each other as they faced Jax with smiles. Samantha rolled her eyes and turned away from the car to face her fiancé and son. "You gave him a cookie." She stated dryly as she looked at the older man. Jax smiled and shrugged his shoulders. He wasn't going to deny it and he wasn't going to give a reason why he did.

Riley gave a happy hum. "It's yummy Mama." Riley stated happily. "Bite?" He asked as he held the cookie out to his mother.

"No thank you baby. You enjoy your cookie." Sam replied to her son with a smile as she wiped her hand with the dirty rag.

St. Thomas' Hospital

5:00 P.M.

Sam, Jax and Gemma, with Riley holding her hand, waited in anxious silence for Tara to bring out little Abel. The couple gripped their hands tightly together with anticipation. Sam stood beside the rocking chair as Jax sat on it. The time had finally come and they were finally going to be able to hold their son. Their smiles grew as Tara walked into the room with Abel in her arms. Jax stood and together they took a few steps forward and stopped as Tara stopped before them.

"Go ahead baby." Sam whispered softly as she nodded to Tara to let Jax hold their son first. With a warm smile appearing he raised his arms and carefully the child was passed between them. Sam and Jax's smiles grew even wider as their son looked around the room. Slowly the pair walked over to the rocking chair. The couple was oblivious to the watching women.

Samantha had always felt this guilt at waiting six months to tell Jax about Riley four years ago. She felt that Jax having this chance to hold and bond with Abel would ease that feeling a little. "I don't know how to break this too you kid, but I'm your old man." Jax stated as he grinned down at his son. It was an amazing feeling to finally be able to hold his son after nearly two months of waiting. Gemma nodded to Tara and then to the door, silently telling her that they should give the couple some alone time with Abel. The two women and Riley walked out of the room to leave the parents to bond with their youngest son.

"Hey baby, I'm your mom." Sam whispered from her knelt position in front of Jax as they looked down at their baby boy. She raised a shaky finger with tears in her eyes and gently let Abel grasp it with his small fists. A bright smile spread over her lips at her strong little man. Her boys, Jax, Riley and Abel were all strong and resilient. Sam let some of the tears escape as she gave a breathless laugh as she continued to stare at Abel in awe and amazement. Her baby had beaten the odds and shown everyone he would be able to beat anything thrown at him.

"You okay Sammy?" Jax questioned softly as he looked up from watching Abel. He felt a frown tug at his lips at the tears that slid slowly down his beautiful Old Lady.

"I'm fine." She laughed out as she raised her free hand to wipe away the tears. "I'm just...really happy." She said with a soft smile as she looked over at him. "My boys are strong and healthy. Abel beat the odds. We're going to be married whenever we have the time to sit down and discuss the wedding...life's just really good right now." Samantha stated.

The couple's smiles were happy and loving as they looked at each other before they went back to looking at Abel. "He's a fighter. He's got the Teller and Janowitz fighter genes in 'im." Jax suddenly said after a couple of minutes of silence as they watched their son. Abel continued to twist and turn, moving in his daddy's arms.

"He's a tough one." Sam agreed with a bright smile that made her face light up. Her green eyes sparkled as she continued to let Abel hold onto her pointer finger. She could feel the strength in his hand and it reassured her that he was indeed her little fighter.

Jax watched with a smile at Samantha's reaction to Abel's moving. He was kicking his little feet and moving his free hand around while the other held his mother's finger. "You wanna hold 'im?" He questioned with a raised eyebrow. Sam looked at him with an expression that clearly told her fiancé what a stupid question that was. Jax gently and slowly moved Abel into Sam's arms. He stood and allowed her to take his position as he took the one she had been in.

Sam smiled and gently released her finger from Abel's fist and instead gently ran her finger down his cheek. "You look just your daddy." She whispered to the restless baby. "He's just as handsome as you are." As Sam spoke to Abel, he began to mellow and calm at the sound of their familiar voices.

"We made one good lookin' kid." Jax agreed. "We make good lookin' kids." He added as he held out his finger and let Abel to grasp it and hold it tightly.

"Of course we do. We're some good lookin' parents." Sam joked as she looked down. Jax smirked but didn't deny it as he went back to watching their son. Sam's hair fell around her shoulders. The wavy curls fell to the front of her chest. Abel became curious at the strange objects and reached out with his free hand and grabbed hold of the hair and pulled. Sam winced at the sting but made no move to release her hair.

"Do you want to go get Riley so he can officially meet his baby brother?" She asked.

Jax nodded and slowly released Abel's grip on his finger and stood up from the floor. He walked towards the door and pushed it open. Gemma and Tara turned from their conversation and looked at Jax. "Come 'ere Ri. It's time to officially meet your baby brother." Jax stated to his oldest as Riley looked up from his coloring.

"Really?" Riley gasped out excitedly as he scrambled to his feet and towards his daddy.

Jax scooped the boy up in his arms and looked to his mother and Tara. "You'll be free to come in after we introduce the boys." He stated.

"Take your time sweetheart." Gemma stated as she waved him off.

"We'll just sit out here and continue out talk." Tara agreed with a smile.

Jax raised an eyebrow and shook his head. Stepping back into the room with Riley in his arms, Jax walked quickly back to Sam and crouched down with Riley held in his arms still. "Riley, you 'member Abel. Well he finally got out of the toaster today." The blonde haired man explained.

Little Riley looked down at the small baby that was held in his mama's arms. He was very curious to see that his baby brother was out of the toaster. He had been afraid he'd never get to leave. "He's tiny." The small child remarked with curious sea green eyes. "He's also weird looking." He added, making Sam and Jax laugh.

"He is tiny." Sam remarked with a laugh.

The Teller Residence

10:00 P.M.

Samantha had spent the rest of the evening at the hospital to spend time with Abel. As well as allowing Riley to get to know his baby brother better. She had finally gone back home after getting dinner for herself and Riley. It was while at the diner that the little boy had fallen asleep, which caused her to realize that she needed to take her son home so he could get a good night's rest. With a small sigh, Sam juggled unlocking the front door and keeping her son steady in her arms. Riley was essentially a dead weight in her arms, his arms were wrapped loosely around her neck with his small fingers were curled in half fists. While he was by no means a heavy child, as he was very lean and wiry for a four-year-old, her arm could only take holding him for so long before they started hurting.

It was to the sound of a click, as the front door unlocked, that Sam let out a sigh of relief. She pushed the door open with her foot and let it swing open before following inside. It had been a long day and she wanted free of her confining shoes and day clothes, and into something more comfortable. She reached blindly behind her and pushed the door shut behind her, before continuing her way through the entry way, pass the living room, kitchen, and finally into his bedroom. Sam gently and carefully laid her sleeping child onto his twin bed with side rails, to keep him from rolling off the bed during the night. She skillfully and smoothly undressed the young boy into his motorcycle pajama set. It was a gift from one of his Uncles, something that Jax had been amused and thrilled by. Samantha had just been plain amused and exasperated by it.

"Sleep well sweet boy." She murmured as she brushed her lips against his forehead and covered him with his comforter and blanket. On silent feet Sam slipped out of the bedroom, the little boy's nightlight gave off a dim yellow glow, that chased away the dark shadows. Leaving the door open part way, Sam headed for her bedroom, her feet made dull thumps as the boots landed on the carpeted floor. Her phone rang, singing the verses of Nickelback's Burn It To The Ground, startled Samantha from her thoughts as she reached into her pocket and pulled the phone out. "Hello?" She asked, stopping her process as she turned for the living room.

"Sammy?" I'm not gonna be home for a bit sweetheart." Jax's voice stated through the phones speaker. "Some things popped up and I need to give Tara a visit." Samantha sat on the couch, a sigh releasing past parted lips at his statement. She knew what that meant. Sam Crow was in some sort of trouble that needed Tara's medical assistance and supplies.

"I hope everything's okay Jax." She replied as she stood back up from the couch. "I'll be here, waiting for you when you get home." Samantha said. The words she truly wanted to say to him caught in her throat. She wanted to tell him that he may have the same cut as when she had left, but he wasn't the same man that she had left, but she knew the unnecessary fight it would cause and she just didn't have the energy to start ome with him. "I love you." She stated with a small, warm smile curling her lips.

"I love you too." Jax replied before he hung up. Sam cleared her Iphones screen and stood from the couch. Quietly she made her way back down the hallway and towards the master bedroom. The brunette stepped into her and Jax's shared master bedroom and slipped the light switch on, giving the room a glowing yellow light. She yawned and stretched as she walked over to the bed and collapsed down on it. She reached on to the nightstand and set her IPod into the music player and selected her preferred music playlist. Animotion's song Obsession, began to play from the speakers. Sam paused as reached over to the nightstand again, intending on setting her phone down, as an unsettling feeling of being watched overcame her.

Her green eyes narrowed as she tightened her grip briefly on her cellphone. She felt wary, as she finally looked over at the dresser and noticed that her things and Jax's had been moved. The placements of the items were not where they should be. Samantha quickly stood and made to run from the room and check on Riley, when Kohn quickly made an appearance from the master bathroom. Before she could run any further, Kohn grabbed Sam roughly. His hand harshly covered her mouth, even as Sam struggled with muffled screams.

"No! No!" She yelled through his hand, though it was muffled and no where near loud enough to be heard.

"Shh, Shh," Kohn hushed as he forced Samantha down onto the bed. He held her down by using his heavier weight atop of her to keep her from struggling. "No screaming, you understand? You keep making such a ruckus, you'll wake up Riley and then I'll have to do something to that brat of yours." He threatened. Samantha instantly froze, her green eyes went wide with fright as she stared up at Kohn. The thought of her son being hurt by Kohn made her feel physically sick to her stomach at the thought. "Now, I don't want to hurt you Sammy," her stomach turned again at the use of Jax's nickname escaping Kohn's lips, "I just want to talk."

Samantha gave a gasp of air as he released his hand from over her mouth and nose. "You're hurting me." She breathed out, her heart was racing, pounding in her chest and in her ears. It was a constant rhythmic noise but she was trying to force herself to remain calm. She could do this, she could handle Kohn. She had done it once before, when she actually dated the crazy asshole. She could handle him again.

"I'm sorry I had to do it this way." He said as he lifted some of his weight off of her. "I just need five minutes from you. That's all I want and I knew this was the only way to get it." Kohn stated as he looked down at her. His hands gently cupped her cheeks while the other gently pressed the cool metal of the guns barrel against her other cheek. It made Sam tense again, but she slowly forced the tension to ease from her muscles.

"What the fuck do you want Kohn?" Samantha finally asked with her heart racing steadily in her chest. She fought to control her hands from trying to shake, but she fought the feeling away. She wasn't going to let him have the satisfaction of seeing her terrified.

"I just need five goddamn minutes!" He finally yelled, as he jumped up from the bed and paced beside it. His emotions always shifted erratically from a calm and gentle to a furious and irritated. It was one of the reasons why Samantha had never fully given herself to him in the emotional and physical sense. He had always frightened Sam to a certain extent, with his near bipolar moods.

"Okay," Sam replied, hands up as she slowly sat up on the bed. He turned from here and slammed the master bedroom door closed with a loud bang. "Alright, five minutes." She stated, as she finally sat at the edge of the bed. Her green eyes watched him warily, her eyes keeping constant watch of the gun and where he was pointing it. She silently begged any deity that existed in the universe, that Riley remained asleep in his bedroom. That he didn't hear the sounds coming from the master bedroom and come running, like another particular individual she knew.

Kohn pulled the chair that sat at the corner of the room beside the window. He took a seat, facing Samantha as his hands loosely hung in between his knees. "I first want to apologize for how my behavior has been." Kohn stated as he stared at the brilliant green eyes he was so loved. "I know that I've been less than chivalrous, but sometimes..." He trailed off for a moment as he continued to stare at Samantha and her beautiful face. Samantha was feeling uncomfortable at his intent staring. "Love- and passion, that can inspire a man's baser instincts. He does things he's not proud of." Samantha's mind flashed back to the memories of the things that he used to do to her. The things that would and should make any man not proud to do to a woman or any human being in general.

"I'm sorry for those things. I never meant to scare you." He stated, before that almost sweet and kind persona disappeared into something but serious and angry again, "But the restraining order," he stated with an expression of someone that was very displeased, "come on, that was so out of the blue, and it made me feel like some kind of psycho." Kohn remarked with a shake of his head and a pointed finger at Samantha. "Do I look or act like a psycho to you Sam?" He rhetorically questioned.

Samantha knew this was a rhetorical question and understood that his whole apology had an additional motive behind it. She was just unsure of what his motive exactly was. She had an idea, and the thought was very unsettling. "I'm sorry I made you feel that way." Sam stated slowly and carefully. Her every motion and words were carefully thought out.

"You know, I heard you talking to Teller on the phone." Kohn said with an expression Sam couldn't read. "It sounded kind of intimate." Sam fought the urge to make a witty or snappy retort. It was not the time to piss the psycho off, especially when that psycho had a gun. But honestly? She's had a child with Jax, she was engaged to the man. It should be pretty obvious that they were intimate with each other. "And the pair of you - that can never happen." Kohn added, as he stared at Samantha obsessively.

'It kind of already did,' She thought to herself in reply to Kohn trying to tell her what to do, like he did when they were dating. Her thoughts were snarky, but kept her thoughts to herself. She merely nodded and bit her tongue. The last thing she wanted to do was piss off the man holding a gun.

Kohn continued to speak, "You and I Sammy," Sam grit her teeth at Kohn using Jax's nickname for her, "We have a chance to put this all on the table. To work it out. Build the foundations that this relationship needs. That is has always needed." He continued with the continuous denial of a man that did not believe that the woman he was obsessed with, no longer wanted him.

Sam's eyes closed for a moment, as stunned disbelief crossed her visage for a small moment, before clearing. "Yes...right..." She agreed slowly, her brilliant eyes opened as she looked down and away from the fanatical love that was expressed in Kohn's eyes.

"Why don't you start first?" Kohn suggested as he sat beside her, his hand held hers as he looked at Samantha with eagerness.

"Okay..." Sam agreed as she brushed her hair back. To make some time for herself, she pulled her hair back into a ponytail and used the black hairband around her wrist to tie it up. "Right...well..." She chewed on the bottom of her lip as she tried to think of what to say. She sighed shakily and nervously. "I guess - well - maybe I should -" She stopped and glanced over at Kohn. "What do you want me to talk about?" She finally asked, her fingers curled and uncurled in nervous fists as she looked at the man beside her.

"No, no, no," Kohn said with a sharp shake of his head. He grabbed Samantha's hand and held it tightly in his. His dark eyes stared fixedly onto hers. "I want you to tell me something." He was determined to make this work. "This is about what you want." He stated with a slight smile gracing his lips. "It's your opportunity to come clean. To clear the air." He added. "Tell me everything that you think doesn't work in our relationship. Just be straight with me. Be brutally honest."

Samantha tilted her head as she stared at the man. Her mouth parted in disbelief once again at Kohn's delusions. Was this what Kohn really wanted? Did he honestly want her to "clear the air" between them and be brutally honest while she did? She had no doubts in her mind that what she had to say, he would not like. "Okay." She agreed again. She had been saying it a lot tonight, it seemed. "I guess..." She began with a tremulous sigh, her head tilted back and eyes closed as she built up the courage to speak up to the man that had scared her so much once before. "I was...concerned - in Chicago," Sam stated she looked over at Kohn. "About how - possessive - you were." She remarked.

"Yes, you're absolutely right." He instantly agreed with a nod of his head.

"And - I - well...I got..." Her throat seized shut for a moment as that old familiar fear nearly consumed her.

"Frightened, I know." He agreed with mouth slightly parted in agreement. "I know that sometimes my energy can be very big." He gestured to his body as he spoke. Samantha could only stare at him with incredulity and trepidation fighting between each other for dominance. "I'm an intense guy, and I - I - I own that." He stuttered as he shifted his body so he was facing Samantha.

"Yes." She agreed hesitantly. She did agree that he was very intense and obsessive to the point that he terrified her. "And that's why I filed that restraining order." She added, her mention of it was a sharp reminder to Kohn that he was violating that restraining order being near her.

"But since you know that now, you know there was nothing to be afraid of." He stated with a genial smile.

Samantha's jaw tightened as she stared at her abuser and stalker. She stiffened as he leaned forward to kiss her, causing Sam to lean back. The next few minutes blurred as Sam fought Josh as he forced her onto the bed, holding her down as she fought against what she knew he was trying to lead to. "Josh! Wait, wait, wait!" She exclaimed as she gripped his arm. Her heart raced in terror as she stared up at him. "Please. Not this way." She stated as she glanced at where the gun was. "This - this - this is a fresh start." She stuttered out. Her breathing heavy as she placed her hand on his check, gripping firmly as she tried to keep his weight off of her partially undressed body.

She felt her mindset settle as she prepared herself for what she was about to do. "Make love to me," She said in a breathy whisper, "Gentle and slow, like I know you can." She added with a seductive expression. "I know you don't want to hurt me baby." Samantha added with her lips barely brushing Kohn's. "I know you love me." She added with a sultry breathless voice. If this was her only way of getting away from him, she'd use his obsession with her before she made her escape.

"I do love you Sam." Kohn replied as he looked down at her.

"Then show me." She stated. She allowed for him to maneuver them, until she got the opportunity to flip them around. Kohn collapsed on the bed and watched as Samantha strip herself of her pants and shirt. She stood in nothing but her matching sexy black lingerie, something she had chosen that morning for Jax. The brunette distracted the man as she reached on to the dresser. She preoccupied him, as she pulled the gun out and sat up abruptly. Kohn attempted to grab the gun but was stopped as Samantha pulled the trigger. The gunshot was sharp and loud as it hit him in the gut, causing Kohn to stumble backwards and sat on the ground, groaning in pain.

Samantha held the gun up, as she heard the sound of her toddler son awaking. "Mama!" Riley called out from down the hall.

"You stupid bitch!" Kohn cursed as he held his bleeding gut. "Call an ambulance or I'm going to bleed out!" He stated as he looked over at her. Hands still pressed to his bullet wound as he looked at her. "Unless you want your kids taken away." He added. "I could do it, you know."

Samantha's face closed off and her eyes went cold as she adjusted her grip on the gun. "Riley, baby, stay in your bedroom." She called out over her shoulder.

"Okay!" The little voice replied.

Sam turned her attention back to Kohn. "You really shouldn't have said that." She stated in a frigid tone of voice.

The Teller Residence

10:45 P.M.

A gunshot echoed in the house of the Teller residence.

Terror, like nothing Jax has ever felt in his life, suddenly gripped the blonde haired man. "Sammy!" Jax suddenly called out as he jumped off his bike and ran up the walkway to his house. He forcefully opened the front door and rushed into the living room, hoping that he would find his fiance and son unharmed. "Sammy! Riley!" He yelled out as he stepped into the entryway of the house.

"Daddy!" Riley called out as he ran from his room and towards his father. He was dressed in his pajamas and appeared to be unharmed.

Jax looked his son over carefully, scanning for any injuries that he may have. "Hey buddy, you okay?" He asked in concern. Riley nodded his head sleepily. "Where's your mama?" He questioned in worry.

"The bedroom." He replied with a small yawn.

"Sammy!" He called out. The sound of the master bedroom opening and closing reached his ears before the sight of his fiance dressed in her clothes from earlier that day graced his eyesight. Jax could instantly tell that something was off about her. She was hiding something. He could also see that here was an accumulation of emotions building inside her, nearly overwhelming her. "Hey, you alright?" He asked gently and lovingly as he walked over to the brunette. He pulled her to his chest and held her. He could feel Samantha's body shaking and it scared him. What had happened to make her like this? And where did that gunshot come from? These questions ran through his mind as he held his small family close to him.

"Hmm." She hummed quietly, in no real attempt to answer his questions. She finally pulled away and stared up at the man she loved. "Let's get the kid down for bed, then I'm going to need your help." She murmured quietly. Sam gently rubbed their son's back, as her beautiful green eyes looked away from his brilliant blues and over at their sleepy son.

"Okay," Jax replied slowly, as the pair walked to their son's bedroom. Together they laid Riley down on his bed. At his insistence, they sang him his favorite song and read him his favorite story, before he finally nodded off to sleep nearly fifteen minutes later. "What's goin' on Samantha?" He asked her while they walked out into the hallway.

Samantha shut Riley's bedroom door and began walking down the hallway that led to their bedroom. "I did something pretty fucking reckless." She stated as she brushed her brunette hair back from her eyes. It had been taken out of it's ponytail before she had left their master bedroom. She led her fiance to their room and pushed the door open slowly. She then stepped aside and wrapped her arms around herself, in a very self soothing motion.

Jax stepped into the master bedroom and froze at the sight of Kohn's motionless body. He could see two very distinctive gunshot wounds, one in his gut and the second in his forehead. "What the fuck?" He blurted out in stunned surprise. His gorgeous blue eyes turned to look at the woman he loved. "What happened?" He asked her. His concern and worry for her far outweighed the curiosity and the knowledge that Josh Kohn was dead.

Samantha turned to him, leaning against the doorway as she summarized the night in short succinct sentences. "Josh broke into the house and threatened Riley and I. He was under the delusion that we were still a couple and wanted to fix it. He then attempted to rape me, but I fought back and tricked him. Then I shot him, I was going to call you, but he threatened Riley and Abel..." She trailed off for a moment, then seemed to gather herself together. "So I shot him again, in a permanent manner."

Jax stared in awe and love for his fierce Old Lady. There was often times that many of Sons forgot that Samantha was a fierce warrior in her own right. That she knew how to handle herself, having grown up within the chaotic life of the Sons. While Sam didn't generally use or condone violence as a method in handling situations, Jax knew she had no trouble using said methods when her family was being threatened. Although, he had a feeling she was going into shock with just how calm and emotionally not bothered she appeared to be for what she had done. If there was one thing Jax never wanted his fiance to experience, it was taking a life.

"You did what you had to Sammy." Jax stated reassuringly. His own rage at what Kohn had done and attempted to do to Sam and their son, was a mere simmer now, considering the man was already dead. While he had been killed by Samantha in anger, Jax almost wished she didn't take his life, so he could have done it instead. Though he thought it was rather poetic that she had been the one to kill him in the end. Considering all the hurt and torment the other man had put her through.

Samantha didn't appear very reassured as he led them to their bed. Jax gently sat his fiance down before taking a seat beside her. He sighed, running his hand down his bearded face, he sat up straighter and turned to face Sam. "I'll handle this Sammy." He stated in a firm but soothing voice. "I'm here, I'm not going to let anything happen to you." Jax added as he wrapped his arms around her and pulled her closer to his side.

A whimper slipped out from Samantha's lips at his words, her eyes squeezed closed and her curled fist rested against her lips as she shook. "Hey - hey - you're okay." He raised his hand and gently rubbed her back. A sob slipped out as what she had done, finally connected and set in. The comfort and safety Jax had always brought to Samantha, had finally let her lower her guard.

"Shh, hey, I'm here." Samantha gripped his cut and jacket tightly as she cried. Her green eyes glittered with tears as her eyelashes clung with the tears. "It's okay. It's okay. You're going to be okay baby." Jax whispered, as he gently rubbed her hair and brushed her hair from her face. The blonde held her up as she rested her forehead against his. "Riley's okay too. We'll alright Sammy." He murmured and brushed a soft kiss to her lips. Sam gasped out and clung to him as she pressed her lips firmly to his. His hand rested on her check as she held his hand, gripping onto it like a lifeline.

"We'll get through this." She stated, as if trying to comfort and reassure herself. Her voice hoarse from the yelling and crying she had done that night. They would get through this, as with everything they have ever been faced with. They would fight and survive to protect the life they had made and were still making together.

This has been a long time in the making. And I do mean a long time. It certainly took forever to get this chapter done, but I have finally finished the chapter. Over 20,000 words and it was a beast to write. This story was not Beta'd so if there are any mistakes, I have not taken the time to edit them yet.

I hope you enjoy this chapter. Reviews are welcomed but flames are not.

If you have any ideas or suggestions for this story or any other of my stories, feel free to PM me.

So I'm not sure when the next update for this story will be. Considering I'm still recovering, as I'm doing physical therapy for my arm and have doctor appointments to go to. While also trying to complete school for my Bachelors and working at the same time. Hopefully it won't take as long as this chapter did, but it may take a couple of months...maybe.
