Elsa woke up the next day exhausted. She looked around her room and found her dress she'd worn the previous night sprawled on the floor. She heard singing downstairs and realized it was Saturday. She smiled and got off her bed. He pulled on her robe and slippers and ran out her door. On her way downstairs, she bumped into something strong.
"Oof!" Elsa nearly fell down the stairs. She felt a strong hand grip her arm. She looked up to find Jack's smiling face.
"Morning." He said. Elsa straightened herself and yanked her arm out of his grip.
"Morning." She replied.
"Sleep well?" He asked. She eyed him suspiciously.
"Yes. Why?" She asked. Jack shook his head.
"I'm just wondering." He said. Elsa smirked and jumped the rest of the stairs.
"Morning Elsa! How'd you sleep?" Anna asked leaning in to hug her sister. Elsa shied away and grabbed a plate of bacon and eggs.
"Good." Elsa said.
"Why won't you let me come near you?" Anna asked.
"Anna, not today." Elsa sighed.
"No! Why do you always do this? I try to be nice, and all I get is you fleeing!" Anna yelled.
"Anna, people are still sleeping. Stop yelling." Elsa said taking a bite of her bacon. Anna huffed.
"Why do you ignore me?" She asked.
"Anna I said not right now." Elsa said.
"Then when? When will you ever answer me?" Anna continued.
"Anna! I said enough!" Elsa yelled back. Anna glared.
"I don't know what happened, but you became rude. R to the O to the O-O-D." Anna yelled.
"Anna, that's not even how you spell rude." Elsa said.
"Shut up!" Anna yelled. She ran upstairs and slammed her door. Elsa rolled her eyes.
"What was that all about?" Jack asked coming into the kitchen and grabbing himself a plate of food.
"Ugh, Anna is just pissed 'cause I don't like to hang around her that much anymore." Elsa said. Jack stared at her.
"I would, too." He said smiling as he bit into his bacon.
"No you wouldn't." Elsa said nudging Jack on the shoulder.
"You saying I don't care for you?" Jack asked looking aver to her. "Elsa, I'm hurt." He said grabbing his chest and pretending to be shot. Elsa giggled.
"You're a terrible actor." Elsa said.
"Hey!" He said. She giggled. "You prove to me, that you are a better actor than I am." Jack said. Elsa quirked an eyebrow.
"Okay." She stood up and walked into the living room.
"My dear Queen," Jack said, "may I have this dance?" He said bowing. Elsa giggled.
"You may." She said in a highly sophisticated manner. He took her hand and placed it on his shoulder. He took his hand and placed it on her waist and held her other hand. "I didn't know you could dance." Elsa smirked.
"Well, I'm acting, aren't I?" Jack teased. Elsa snorted.
"You look-interesting tonight." Elsa said. It was Jack's turn to snort.
"Why thank you, my Queen. You look-" Jack gave her a once over, "-lovely." He said with a heart stopping smirk. Elsa gulped and ducked her head to hide her blush. Jack grabbed her chin and lifted her head up.
"Jack-"
"Who is this Jack you speak of?" Jack said. Elsa giggled. "I am Prince Stephan! I know of no Jack!" Elsa snorted.
"I hear you brought your men to trade." Elsa continued.
"Yes. I have brought two hundred geese." Jack said. Elsa snorted.
"Geese? I have two thousand ducks I will trade for your geese!" Elsa said. Jack gave a haughty laugh.
"Ducks?! For my geese that lay golden eggs?! I think not!" Jack said proudly. Elsa snorted again.
"Then what do you wish me to trade for your geese that lay golden eggs?" Elsa asked. Jack gave her a wry smile.
"A kiss." He answered. Elsa's face straightened.
"I have thirty chocolate kisses in the cabinets-"
"Not chocolate." Jack said. Elsa stared. "Real ones." Jack smirked.
"I'm afraid I cannot give you those." Elsa said.
"And why is that, my Queen?" Jack asked bowing. This time he brought Elsa's hand up to his mouth and pressed a kiss to it. Warmth shot up Elsa. She felt tingles on the area he had kissed.
"In order to get real kisses, you have to give me more than just geese that lay golden eggs." Elsa said.
"And what more would you like, my Queen?" Jack asked. Elsa thought.
"Chocolate. The finest." She said. Jack smirked.
"I knew you'd say that." He said. Elsa quirked an eyebrow. He held up one finger and ran into the kitchen. A few seconds later, he came back out with a fun size chocolate bar. He bowed again. "For you, my Queen." Elsa looked at the small candy in the palm of Jack's hand. She plucked it from his palm and unwrapped the red foil.
"You're lucky I like Lindt." Elsa said. She popped it into her mouth. She closed her eyes and let out a sigh of delight. Jack's smirk got bigger. "Nice acting." Elsa said. She opened her eyes.
"I wasn't acting about the kiss." He said. Elsa went frigid.
"Jack I'm not going to kiss you." She said. Jack grabbed her wrist.
"Elsa-"
"No, Jack." She said. Elsa yanked her hand out of his grip and walked upstairs to her bedroom to change.
I was so close! I thought. I looked up the stairs where Elsa had disappeared. I sighed. I walked back into the kitchen and grabbed my cold bacon off my plate and munched on it.
When I heard the backdoor open and close, I got off my barstool and walked towards the door. I saw Elsa; towel wrapped in her hair, hanging up clean, but wet, clothes. I opened the door as quietly as I could and snuck up behind her. I poked her back and she let out a frightened squeal. I snorted. She turned around to see me.
"Jack!" She said trying to catch her breath.
"Did you hear yourself?" I asked. She smirked.
"Yes, thank you." She said. I smirked.
"I want to hear it again." I said. She smirked.
"No." She turned back around to hand up a shirt. I poked her side. "Jack!" She squealed. She jumped forward and turned to face me. I stifled a laugh.
"It sounds cute when you squeak." I said. She smirked again.
"I'm not gonna squeak anymore." She said turning back around. I poked the area on her neck next to her shoulder. She squeaked again. I snorted.
"I thought you weren't going to squeak anymore?" I said. She huffed and turned back around. This time I grabbed her waist and pulled her close to me.
"Jack-!" I cut her off. I pulled her face up to mine and gave her a kiss. She was shocked. I separated the kiss.
"You didn't squeak! Bravo!" I joked. She glared at me and wrapped a shirt around several times. "What're you doing with that?" I asked. She smirked.
"Just a little thing I my dad taught me." She said. I looked at her cautiously. She whipped the shirt at me and it struck my leg.
"Ouch!" I shouted. She smirked. "Two can play that game!" I shouted. I pulled a shirt from the basket and twirled it around and whipped it at Elsa. She squeaked. I snorted. "There's the squeak!" I shouted. She huffed.
After a few time of us whipping each other, we laid down on the grass. Her towel fell out of her hair and was on the grass five feet away from us, and her hair was sprawled across the grass in curly masses. I turned to look at her laughing face being lit up by the sun. She turned to look at me.
"What?" She asked. I shrugged and looked deeper into her eyes. She smirked. "Jack, you're staring at me weirdly." She said. I tore my eyes away from her and laid back to stare at the sky.
If only that happened.
I tried to pry my eyes off of her, but they refused. Elsa gave me confused look.
"Has anyone ever told you your eyes are the color of forget-me-nots?" I asked. She blushed.
"N-no." She said.
"They're quite lovely." I said.
"Th-thank you." She said. I smiled. She ducked her head away from me so I wouldn't see her blush.
When Monday came around, I dreaded it. I had to sit next to Belle in two classes, and one of my other classes Elsa was in, and then the other I found out my homework wasn't finished for it. I groaned. I groaned and headed towards my motorcycle.
"Hey Jack, can you give me a ride?" I turned around. The source of the voice was a girl with short brown hair. Her clothes were stained with paint and her eyes were a very bright green.
"Hey Punzie." I said. She smiled.
"So, can you give me a ride? My mum nor dad can make it and I hate buses." She said. I sighed.
"Don't you have a boyfriend?" I asked. She huffed.
"No. We broke up." She said. I sighed and resisted the urge to roll my eyes.
"Alright." I said. She smiled. I handed her a helmet and mounted my motorcycle. She mounted behind me and grabbed hold of my waist and hugged it tightly.
I pulled into her neighborhood and she pointed me to her house. Once I pulled up to her house, she got off and started to walk up to her front door. Then suddenly she stopped.
"Hey Jack?" She said. I looked up from my leather glove.
"Hmm?" I asked.
"Thank you." She said. I gave her a curt nod. She smiled and turned around. But she didn't move.
"Hey Punzie, you stuck?" I joked. She giggled and turned around.
"N-no. There was another thing I wanted to ask you." She said. I, once again, resisted the urge to roll my eyes.
"What?" I asked.
"Would you like to, oh, never mind. It's stupid." She said.
"Alright." I said. I turned to start up my motorcycle but she started talking.
"Would you like to come to my art show this weekend with me?" She asked. I stared at her. This obviously was important to her. I sighed.
"Sure." I said. She smiled brightly.
"Great! It's at the school auditorium." She said. I nodded and started my engine and drove off leaving an excited Rapunzel.
Once I got home, I pulled up and opened the front door. I was immediately stopped by someone giving me a huge hug.
"Jack!" Elsa said. I quirked an eyebrow and stared at her.
"What's up Snowflake?" I asked. She blushed and ducked her head.
"There is a talent show at the school in two weeks!" Elsa shouted while she jumped up and down.
"Whoa, whoa. A talent show?" I asked. She nodded vigorously.
"Yes! I'm thinking of entering." She said. I raised my eyebrows.
"Nice." I said. She smirked.
"It's the week summer vacation begins, too. So I was thinking-"
"I'm not singing with you if that's what you're asking." I said. She giggled.
"I wasn't going to say that." Elsa giggled.
"Then what were you going to say?" I asked.
"I was saying that what if I sang a summer themed song." She said. I stared at her.
"I think everyone that is singing in the talent show will be singing a song that has some sort of summer theme in it." I said. Elsa huffed.
"You're right. I need to find a song to sing." Elsa said walking away. She was muttering to herself. I snorted and walked to the kitchen. One thing that I know Elsa and I share the love for is chocolate. I walked to the cupboard and opened it and grabbed a chocolate bar.
As I ate my chocolate in my room, I heard my phone ring. I walked over to it and let out a sigh as I read the name.
"H-hey Belle." I said rubbing the back of my neck. I heard a sigh on the other line.
"Can you meet me at the park at six o'clock?" Belle asked.
"Uh, I don't know, Belle. I-"
"Please, Jack? I really need to talk to you." She begged. I sighed.
"Alright." I said. She sighed.
"Thanks." She said. I hung up the phone and went into my bathroom. I, once again, tried to at least tame my hair, but it didn't work. Not that it mattered. I walked out of my room with my phone and headed downstairs.
"Hey, Jack. Where're you going?" I turned around to see Anna.
"Hey Anna. Just going to meet-an old friend." I said. She eyed me and turned to leave. I opened the front door and headed towards my motorcycle. Six o'clock was in ten minutes and it takes about fifteen minutes to get to the park from my house. I sighed and started the engine and drove off.
Once I got to the park, I saw Belle's blue micro-car parked in the parking lot. I turned off the engine and sighed. I got off the motorcycle and walked over to a tree. I looked around as I walked and noticed Belle was on a swing. I quirked and eyebrow and walked over to her.
"Hey." I said sitting down.
"Oh! Jack. Hi. How are you?" She asked.
"Good. You?" I asked.
"F-fine." She mumbled.
"Is everything okay? You seem…down." I said. She sighed.
"I just really needed to see you." She said.
"What's wrong?" I asked.
"M-my parents are getting a divorce." She said. I looked at her.
"Belle. I'm so sorry." I said. She sniffed.
"I really needed someone to be around. Someone who-cares. For me, I mean." She said. I frowned.
"Belle, everyone cares for you. You are a sweet, charming, lovely young girl who cares for everything and everyone in sight. You are very much loved." I said. She smiled.
"Thanks Jack." She said. I smiled and started to get up.
"Call me if you need anything." I said. She looked up and gave me a smile.
"Jack, why have you not been talking to me until now?" She asked. I sighed.
"Belle, you know why." I said.
"I never meant to hurt you like that!" She said.
"Belle," I said turning around, "I can't be in a relationship with someone if they expect-that-from their other. I don't need-no-I don't want that." I said. She sighed.
"I'm sorry. I was drunk." She said.
"And who gave you the alcohol, might I ask?" I said.
"I don't know-"
"Don't lie to me Belle." I said. "I can see it in someone when they're lying." I said. She started shaking.
"Flynn." She replied.
"Flynn? Flynn Rider?" I asked. She nodded. I remembered what Rapunzel said.
"I broke up with him." My eyes widened.
"What?" She asked.
"Nothing. I've gotta go." I said. She sighed.
"See you around, Jack." Belle said. I ran back to my motorcycle and rode home.
Elsa looked out her window when she heard Jack's motorcycle drive up. She ran out of her room and ran downstairs. When he opened the door, she faced him.
"Prince Stephan, you still owe me two hundred geese that lay eggs." She said. Jack chuckled.
"My dear Queen." He said bowing. Elsa held out her hand and Jack placed a kiss on the top of her hand. Once again she felt warmth swim up her arm and send shivers down her spine. Jack smirked and twirled her around and dipped her. "I have no geese, but I still have my lips." He said.
"That is not acceptable! You promised me geese!" Elsa said turning her head away.
"But I have an exception." Jack said.
"And what is your exception?" Elsa asked.
"A kiss once a day for a chocolate." Jack said smirking.
"For one chocolate? I think not." Elsa said crossing her arms.
"How about three?" He said. Elsa looked at him.
"Keep it coming." She said. He gave her his adorable wry smile.
"How about ten?" He said. Elsa looked at him convinced.
"Fine. But minus the kiss part." She said. Jack smirked.
"That wasn't the deal." He said.
"I'm a Queen. I can't go kissing around." Elsa said.
"Then tell me, Queen. Why did you accept my offer last time?" Jack smirked.
"I was messing with you." Elsa said putting her hands on her hips.
"My Queen, I see the way you look at me, and I read your face." Jack said. Elsa felt her heart stop.
"You must be joking!" Elsa finally said.
"You hesitated." Anna said walking by. Elsa glared at her sister.
"Why would I need anyone, when I have p-" Elsa immediately stopped herself. Jack quirked an eyebrow.
"Have what, my Queen?" Jack asked bowing. Elsa shook her head erratically.
"Elsa?" Jack reached a hand out to touch Elsa's arm but she shied away.
"Never mind. I have to go do homework." Elsa said. Jack grabbed her hand.
"Elsa-"
"Let go of my hand!" Elsa said yanking her hand away.
"Elsa, what's wrong?" Jack asked. Elsa pulled away but her glove slipped off.
"Jack give me my glove!" Elsa said trying to snatch it from his grip. She put her hand under her right arm and reached out for her glove. Jack pulled it up out of reach for her.
"First tell me what's wrong." Jack said.
"Jack please! Just give me my glove!" Elsa begged.
"Elsa I know you don't have a thing with dirt. Don't give me that crap." Jack said. "Now tell me. Why do you need your glove so urgently?" Jack asked. Elsa felt herself come to tears.
"If I told you, you'd think I'm insane!" Elsa cried.
"Elsa, I would never think that!" Jack said.
"JACK GIVE ME MY GLOVE!" Elsa yelled. She jumped up and grabbed her glove and slipped it on.
"Elsa, please-"
"No. Leave me alone Jack." Elsa said. She climbed the stair case and walked into her bedroom.
I watched as Elsa walked up the stairs. A sigh escaped my lips. I felt awful. She has something she's hiding from me, but she doesn't want to admit it. I plopped down on a couch and buried my head into my hand.
What was she hiding from me? I thought.
