Well dang. Far far too long for this update. I'm sorry. Sorry if this chapter is weak too. I had a hard time figuring out where to go with it. But seriously, my lack of stories, I'm sorry. I can't promise, but I will attempt my best to update sooner.

With that out of the way, I would have made this chapter longer, but I thought it was best to leave fof where I did for now. Enjoy I hope.

-Trina's point of view-

Everything hurt. I couldn't figure out why. My head was spinning. Where am I? I tried standing up but my feet failed me. There wasn't much light, but there was a breeze hitting my face. My left hand fell from it's place on my leg and hit the ground. Pain, so much pain. Suddenly I realized where I was. What had happened.

I tried lifting my head, but the most I could do was turn it. There the was, a cliff, I'd say that was about twenty five feet high, above from where I was. It didn't work. I tried jumping from it. Clearly that just landed me in a world of pain and broken bones. At least no one would find me I was miles from home, miles deep in the forest. No one could get me. I would just suffer for the next few hours or days. If the fall couldn't kill me, no water will.

Suffering. Long and agonizing suffering. A loser like you deserves it.

My eyes started feeling heavy, I could barely keep them open.

I guess sleep found it's way to me, because after that I don't know what happened. When my eyes opened again, I found plan B had failed. I was in some room. There was a beeping coming from behind me. How much time had passed? I couldn't tell you, but I figured out I was in a hospital.

A nurse walked in carrying a bag full of a clear liquid. When she saw I was awake, the blonde haired nurse smiled at me. "Hi! You're awake, that's great! Yeah this, I'm just changing the bag for your IV." She gestured towards my right arm. When I looked down, I realized just how banged up I was. There was a cast on both my legs and my left arm. My right arm was stitched up. "You've been out for a day, some hikers found you off of their path." The nurse continued to talk as she hung the bag behind me and played around trying to connect it to a needle sticking in my arm. I wasn't really paying attention, I was still kind of out of it.

The events from however long ago played through my mind. Cat… I wondered how my red headed friend, schoolmate, was doing. How I got blamed for what happened. The text I sent her...I couldn't help but wonder what she thought of it. I doubt she cared.

"Your parents will be pleased to know you're up. They should be back soon, they just went out to eat." The nurse had finished with what she was doing and she was typing on a computer, I couldn't see, but I could hear the typing. "A broken femur, I'm impressed Trina. That's a lot of force. It's not everyday we see someone with that part of their leg broken." The nurse had a quiet voice, so mellow. She walked next to me with a scanner. She placed it over a bracelet on my right arm. I heard a ding and she walked back behind me.

I tried moving my head, but it hurt. "I want to leave." The raspiness in my voice surprised me, but my tone was so quiet, I was surprised the nurse could hear me.

"You can't leave yet. Not for a while actually. You're in pretty rough shape." The blonde made her way to the door. "My name is Carol, I'm your nurse for the day. Just yell if you need me." She smiled, and like that, she was gone.

I tried moving, but everything just hurt. Well actually, nothing hurt, I just couldn't get a grip. Frustrated, I gave up and let my mind wonder.

It wasn't my fault. I know that, but no one else did. I'm sure everyone convinced Cat I had done it. She may stick up for me, but I'm sure she didn't care that much. I know she didn't. No one did. I'm just the pathetic loser that gets in everyone's way. I could only picture the rumors going around school. Probably calling me an attention hog. Saying how I want people to feel bad. No one would though, they probably just hated me more. I frowned and tried thinking of something else. But I couldn't. I wanted to scream so bad.

And to make it worst, a dark haired girl walked into my room. Jade. "You're an idiot Trina."

"Why are you here?" I was having a hard time talking. The words can out slow.

"Oh, I don't know, wait, I do. I do know why I'm here. I wanted to see you in suffering. Awake, broken and still a loser. I could really hurt you, you know? Hurting Cat the way you did." I tried to say something but Jade cut me off. "Do you know how hurt she was when I had to explain where you were. What you did. And that text you sent her? She's a wreck. She's been a wreck."

I kept quiet. Cat shouldn't be hurt…

"I'm sorry…"

"Not me. Don't tell me. I don't care. Tell Cat. She wants to visit you later, but I think seeing you in this shape will hurt her. She's too soft you know that. Why Kyle hit her, I don't know. He should have just finished you off." Jade turned away and walked off.

Her presence confused me. I didn't get it. But her warning of Cat scared me. How could I speak to the puppy eyed girl? What could I say? What do I say to anyone?

I frowned, and found myself worried and wishing for death more.
