A/n: I do not own Sailor Moon.

Thank you all so much who have either reviewed, alerted, or who have favorite this story. It means so much to me! Sorry for the wait for this chapter!

Three weeks had flown by since Serena had stepped down as Sailor Moon. It was worse than the first breakup with Darien, because this time around Serena the usually bubbly girl was in a deep depression. Her parents had failed to notice the change, because they were too busy with everyone and everything else. They thought if anything their daughter was learning maturity because her grades had improved drastically and she no longer had detentions. Serena had isolated herself once again from the Scouts, because what good is she to them when she is no longer Sailor Moon? They didn't even bother to see if she was okay. No one had bothered to see how much pain the girl was hiding from the world. Serena always thought when she was able to stop being Sailor Moon her life would be better, but instead she feels more empty then she had before.

"Can we go to the Arcade today?" Rini, the pink haired girl who hadn't left her alone asked Saturday morning.

The Arcade was the last place Serena wanted to be, because she knew he would be there along with the Scouts. She couldn't let them see her like this. She knew they all could read her like an opened book.

"I don't want to go to the Arcade. Why don't you just go with Luna?" Serena snapped.

The little girl visibly shook at the harsh words that had come from the person she looked so highly of before. Rini knew she shouldn't press Serena any further, but she also knew she had to get her heroine back. She would do anything to see the blonde haired girl smile again, but she wouldn't tell anyone that.

"Okay." Rini sighed defeated, before she left for the Arcade. The little girl was determined to get her heroine back, no matter what it would take. She couldn't live seeing Serena like this.

Serena stood up from her bed, and looked over at the clock it was noon. She hadn't been out of her room except to go to school lately. No one saw how she was withering away. 'Why can't they see what I've been trying to hide?' Serena thought to herself as she walked over to her dresser that had a pictures of her and the Scouts on top of it. She sighed heavily as she opened the top right dresser, and fished in the bottom of the drawer to find it. She knew it would push her over the edge, but she felt so alone. Finally she found what she was looking for and pulled it out. It was a picture of her and Darien; he was standing behind her with his arm slung around her shoulder a small smile on his face, and she was beaming at the camera as she held up a peace sign.

Serena felt the tears burn against her cheeks. She knew she couldn't hold on like this anymore. She screamed as she threw the picture against the back of her bedroom door as the frame broke into a million of pieces onto her pink carpet floor. 'How could he breakup with me over a dream?' She tried to ask herself to come up with a reasonable explanation but there wasn't one. 'He never loved you. He only loved Serenity. The Scouts only tolerated you, because they were protecting the Princess they had vowed to protect.' a dark voice inside of her head whispered. She started spiraling down a dark path as she continued to break all the pictures of her ex-boyfriend and her former friends. Until eventually she collapsed on the ground in a fetal position as she continued to bawl her eyes out. Life wasn't fair. She couldn't be strong anymore.

"Serena..." a familiar voice called to her. Serena looked up to see, Luna seated on the windowsill. She saw the worried expression on Luna's face. She nearly forgot how her room probably looked as though a tornado had went through it. "Are you okay?"

"No, I am not okay." Serena decided to tell the truth to her guardian.

"Where is Rini? I thought she would be home with you since your brother and parents are out of town this weekend." Luna asked as she changed the subject. She thought it would be too soon to ask Serena why she had made a mess of her room.

"Isn't she with you?" Serena asked concerned.

"How would she be with me when you kicked me out three weeks ago?" Luna asked with anger in her voice. She hated how Serena could throw her out like it was nothing.

Serena paled as she now remembered how after she had kicked Luna out after she stepped down as Sailor Moon. It was all her fault if Rini was missing again. She couldn't blame it on anyone except herself.

"Shit. We have to find her." Serena cursed as she jumped up and started to walk towards the door, but she quickly realized it would be better to go out of the window.

Serena ran as fast as her feet could take her to the Arcade, but there was no trace of the pink haired girl. She saw her former friends in their usual booth in the back. Her ex-boyfriend was slumped on a barstool at the counter. Everyone had turned to look at her, but before anyone could say a word to her, she had fled. The only thought on her mind was to find Rini. It was nearly night when she heard screaming coming from the Rose Garden.

The first time in three weeks, Serena had transformed into Sailor Moon again. She wasn't sure if the Scouts would already be there, but she was about to find out. She rounded the corner and saw one youma and a lady with green hair and green eyes. The lady was one of the people after Rini; Serena had realized.

"Hey Nega-trash, you are destroying a lovely garden that gives people hope. My name is Sailor Moon, I am the Champion of Love and Justice, and in the name of the Moon I will punish you!" Serena announced which had pulled the attention of both the evil beings towards her.

"I knew you would come." Rini shouted as she ran out of her hiding spot behind a tree.

"Rini get out of here." Serena demanded as she was trying to jump out of the attacks the youma was blasting at her.

"No, you guys always get to have the fun." Rini whined.

While Serena was defending herself against the youma and waiting for the Scouts arrival, the green haired lady was fast approaching Rini. Serena shouted for Rini to run, but the little girl remained frozen. Before the green haired lady could get her though a red rose sliced her hand away.

"Who are you? How dare you stop the almighty Prizma." the lady sneered towards the man in the mask standing on top of a street lamp.

"Kidnapping an innocent little girl is a little wrong, don't you think? Especially when she can't defend herself. I am Tuxedo Mask, and I will not let you get her." Tuxedo Mask said as he jumped to the ground to get Rini to safety.

"I hate it when people ruin my plans." Prizma sneered as she threw a dark energy ball towards the masked man.

Tuxedo Mask jumped out of the way before the dark energy ball could hit him. Sailor Moon could not aid him, because she was still trying to find the weak spot on the youma. He had to try and fight one of the three sisters all by himself.

"Hey why don't you try me instead?" Sailor Mars asked as she threw a fireball towards Prizma.

"Oh so the famous Scouts decided to join the party." Prizma said as she threw a dark energy ball their way.

Sailor Moon couldn't understand why this youma hadn't been moon dusted yet. She was grateful for the backup, but she couldn't be of aid to them while dealing with the youma. She had to step up as their true leader again. She was the only person who could take on Prizma.

"Scouts and Tuxedo Mask I need you to take on this youma so I can battle with Prizma." Sailor Moon gave her order, and quickly the Scouts and Tuxedo Mask were attacking the youma.

Sailor Moon ducked as Prizma threw her a dark energy ball. Rini had still not ran away yet, and Prizma had one trick up her sleeve. She threw another dark energy ball, but this time she threw towards the little girl. Rubeus would be not pleased with her, but she didn't care. The little brat was getting on her last nerve. However the blast never connected to the girl, because Sailor Moon stood in front of her and took the full blast.

"Sailor Moon!" Rini shouted as she watched her heroine collapse before her. It was all her fault. She shouldn't have ran away just because she wanted to see her heroine back in action. Rini knew Serena would be happier if she was Sailor Moon again, but now it was over.

"Save her!" Sailor Mars shouted at Tuxedo Mask.

Tuxedo Mask ran towards his lover's side, and bent down to place a chaste kiss on her lips. He never had a problem with saving her before, but this time was different. Sailor Moon remained lifeless in his arms. He felt the tears as they streamed down his face. She was gone. It was all his fault.

"It didn't work." Tuxedo Mask said with sadness in his voice.

Rini shook Sailor Moon hard trying to get her to wake up. There was no way it would be this easy for Sailor Moon to die. "Please wake up." Rini whispered as she kissed the blonde haired girl's forehead and as a single tear fell from Rini's eye.

"Hmm." the blonde haired girl grumbled as she shifted in the arm's of Tuxedo Mask.

"Get up, you have to dust the youma." Rini said as she shook Sailor Moon again.

"So sleepy…" Sailor Moon said groggily before she fell into a deep sleep.

"What are we supposed to do now?" Sailor Venus asked as they were still fighting off the youma.

"What's happening to me?" Rini asked as a light grew out from her chest.

"It can't be the imperial crystal?" Sailor Jupiter asked.

"It looks as though Rini has developed her powers. Quick, Rini say, Moon. Prism. Makeup." Luna instructed. She had followed Serena all day and night to find Rini.

"Moon. Prism. Makeup." Rini shouted her transformation. She never thought she would be a Sailor Scout. How exciting? Once her transformation was complete she helped the other Sailor Scouts dust the youma.

"Oh no. Rebeus and Wiseman will not be pleased with me." Prizma said as she disappeared into a black portal.

"Rini, you are a Sailor Scout." Sailor Mercury said still in disbelief not with the fact Rini was a Scout, but because of which Scout she is.

"I will help get Moon home, and Rini." Tuxedo Mask said as he stood up with Sailor Moon still in his arms.

Luna walked along side Rini as they finally made it back home. Tuxedo Mask was obviously conflicted on how to get Sailor Moon back in her room. She still hadn't awakened yet.

"The window is probably best. Serena's room is a bit of mess right now." Luna stated and hoped Tuxedo Mask wouldn't see the damage.

"Isn't it always a mess?" Tuxedo Mask said with a smirk as he whisked himself up the window and placed the sleeping beauty in her bed.

Luna was not lying when she said the room was a mess; it looked as though a tornado had blown threw it. He noticed the glass on the ground along with the pictures of the Scouts and himself laying in pile on the floor. He sighed as he realized how much pain he had caused her. He didn't think it was this bad.

"Stay safe. I'll see you tomorrow." He said to Rini before he jumped out of the window.

"Rini, you did a great job but I am sure you are awfully tired." Luna said and the little girl nodded before she climbed into the bed with Serena and fell fast asleep.

Serena woke up with a startling jump before she was going to be killed in her nightmare. She was drenched in sweat. She looked around and saw Rini fast asleep undisturbed. 'Lucky her' Serena thought as she threw the covers off of her and started to busy herself. She cleaned up the glass and put the pictures back into her top dresser drawer. Luna had woken up from her cat nap to see Serena was finally awake.

"It's about time you woke up," Luna yawned as she was still waking up herself. "Do you remember anything from the battle?"

"I remember taking the blast from Prizma and Darien saved me with kiss like always." Serena said as she sat down on her computer chair to talk to her guardian.

"Darien's kiss didn't awaken you though…" Luna said confused on how Serena could have memory of the kiss.

"If he didn't wake me then who did?" Serena asked with a hint of sarcasm. Obviously Darien was the only person who could have saved her. She felt all his emotions; the regret, the love, the fear of losing her, and the pain he held in.

"Rini had kissed your forehead because you didn't move after Darien kissed you-"

"Rini saved me?" Serena asked in disbelief.

"Yes, and there is something else you should know," Luna said as she jumped up on the desk to talk to Serena face to face. "Rini came into her powers tonight after you fell asleep. She is another Sailor Scout, but that isn't all. She identified herself as Sailor Mini Moon."

"Do you think she is my sister then? There is no way there could be two Sailor Scouts from the same planet otherwise." Serena asked.

"I would think she was if she was from the past and not the present, but-"

"You think she is my future daughter." Serena stated more than asked. Luna nodded her head. Surely the girl was wearing her hairstyle, and she would look like her "mini" me if the little girl had blonde hair instead of pink hair. "My aunt Tracy had pink hair, but where do the red eyes come from?"

"Maybe her father has red eyes or was related to someone who had red eyes." Luna gave her only reasoning behind the red eyes.

"Knowing this changes everything." Serena stated as she looked towards the little girl sleeping in her bed.

"Does it?" Luna questioned, because she saw how attached Serena had become to the little girl.

"I guess not. I always had this gut feeling to protect her first even though she drives me crazy. However she can't know who I am to her." Serena said as she stood up and walked over to the sleeping girl.

"I think she would have a heart attack if she found out you were her mom." Luna said with a chuckle, because it wasn't far from the truth.

"I will now protect her even more than I did before." Serena promised more to herself.

She snuggled up to the little girl and drifted into a deep sleep once again. In the back of her mind before she went to bed, she thought 'Who do I know has red eyes? Or is related to someone with red eyes' it was mystery she would discover awfully soon. However the truth isn't always easy. Sometimes when you discover the truth, you have to decide if you want it to be true or if you want it to fiction.

review?

PS I know Serena didn't discover who Rini was until they went to the future but how dense can everyone be? Obviously Luna would know there isn't two Scouts on the same planet unless it's mother and daughter or sisters.
