"You're from the Land of the Black Sand!?" Aladdin couldn't believe what he just heard. How can a child come from such a dangerous kingdom and proclaim it with pride?
Taiah shrugs her shoulders, confused by their reaction. "Uh, yeah? What's the big deal? Nobody is there." She glances to the side, remembering the only inhabitants that roam the city and citadel. "Well, nobody but the Mamluks, but they're hardly a bother." She then mutters to herself, not wanting to worry the company around her anymore than she already has. "Especially not after that horrifying incident with the spell."
Genie scratches his head, remembering the last encounter with Mozenrath. "The wiz kid still isn't back yet? Hm, that hot air balloon must have worked better than I thought."
Taiah looks at the Genie and giggles. "Wiz kid? You call him Wiz kid?"
While the conversation went on between the kid and the Genie, something clicked in Jasmine's head. She knows now who Taiah resembles. She turns her attention to her husband and whispers. "Aladdin? Don't you think she looks a little like Mozenrath?"
Aladdin squints his eyes, taking a good look at the child's face. Jasmine was right, Taiah did look a bit like the necromancer. Same pale skin, the curls that hang on both sides of her face are identical to Mozenrath's. Even her bangs looked like the hair that peaks out of his turban. "Hey, you're right!"
Jasmine gazes at the girl, thinking about a small possibility. "Do you think that there's a chance that she might be his daughter?"
The thought ran through his mind. Out of all the times that they've been to the citadel (willingly or not), never once did they run into a kid and Mozenrath didn't seem to be the type of person who would father a child or be around them in general. The idea of it didn't sit right with him. "No, I don't think so." He brought a finger to his chin as he starts to think. He then felt his wife's elbow jab him in the ribs, snapping him out of his thoughts. Looking down to Taiah, he finds her hands folded behind her back and standing on the heels of her feet.
The girl leans to the former street right with a smile on her face. She starts to back step to the throne room's doors. "Well, I better get back home." She stands up straight and teleports outside in the hallways. "I caused you guys enough trouble at the expense of annoying Abis Mal." She turns and walks away from their sight.
"Taiah! Wait!"
After the girl failed to hear Aladdin's request, Genie walks to him. "Al, there's no way we can let shorty to go back to the Land of the Black Sand. Mozenrath might eventually come back!"
Aladdin nods in agreement. "I know! Who knows what that snake would do to her if he finds her!?"
Jasmine looks at the two, recognizes an important fact about Taiah. "Especially since she can use magic! We know that Mozenrath would just use her to his advantage!"
Aladdin looks to Carpet. "Carpet, let's go look for her!" The group abords the magical rug and flies in the direction the girl left, hoping they wouldn't have to go to the Citadel to find her.
