I know I am slacking and I'm sorry for that. But my NOOK is dead and my little sister refuses to give me the charger. I have my phone but there aren't any notepads on the App Store.

"So, little brother," Sesshomaru asked as Inuyasha slowly set Kagome down on his old bed "Why are you here?"
Inuyasha covered his love up before turning to his brother to answer. "Well, Kagome was kicked out and Sango called me asking me to come pick them up. When I got there, Kagome was asleep, wrapped up in a towel, and she had some bruises as well." He looked away before he heard Rin softly gasp. "I took both girls back to mine and Miroku's place. I had Miroku and Sango go out on the date me and Kagome set them up on so I could take care of Kagome. Later on, the landlord came in asking for the rent and Kagome..." Inuyasha clenched his teeth angrily.
"What did you do?" Rin whispered loud enough for his ears to pick up what she said.
"I threw the rent at him and jumped out the window with Kagome meeting up with Sango and Miroku not much later." The angry half demon spoke.
Sesshomaru turned to Kagome, who turned away from everyone. "She will be allowed to stay here for the time being. The girl will not attend school any longer." He faced his brother who glared at him.
"Sesshomaru!" Inuyasha started. "She needs to go to school! She needs an education and you know that."
"Then you shall teach her." The older brother stated emotionless.
"I only teach history 101 idiot! I don't know anything about Math or science or English! Especially English! I couldn't teach English even if I wanted to." Inuyasha nearly shouted but lowered when he noticed Kagome shift in her sleep.
"I do not care. As long as she graduates and we take care of her sister nothing else matters to me." Sesshomaru turned away and began walking out of the room.
Rin began leaving but only to check on her son.
'Damn!' Inuyasha thought pissed. 'How do I teach subjects I know nothing about?'
"Inuyasha?" Miroku interrupted. "I may be able to help."
Inuyasha looked back at his best friend. "How?"
"Well I was going to be a math teacher until I decided I like science but then I switched to English and then I finally realized I wanted to test video games. I get paid a lot of money and I don't really have to do anything besides test the game." The half demon's friend smirked proudly.
Inuyasha frowned. "That's just being lazy."
"Not quite. You need to know a lot of science and math." Miroku stated, placing his hands on Inuyasha's shoulders.
"So you can teach Kagome then?" Inuyasha brushed Miroku's hands away.
"I can only teach her what I remember and Sango will have to teach her the rest."
Sango, who had been quiet and drifting off the whole time, smacked Miroku up side the head. "Don't go assuming things pervert!" She sat back down in a bean bag chair that was in the right hand corner of the room.
Miroku rubbed his head. "But I thought that since you two are best friends then you would help her." Sango was silent. Miroku and Inuyasha turned to look at her only to notice she was fast asleep.
Sighing, Inuyasha whispered "Well let's head to bed. I'll show you to your room." The boys made their way quietly out of the room and up the stairs.
When they got to the second floor, they walked down the hall to the last two rooms. The floor was dark maple wood while the walls were painted a light cream color. 'The house hasn't changed much besides my room.' Inuyasha took a quick glance around the hall before opening the door on his right. "Here are ya go Miroku."
Miroku took one step forward and flipped the light on. "What the hell is this?" He demanded angrily but tiredly.
"This is the guest room." Inuyasha gave a small smirk as he also took a look at the room. The white walls were chipping away; the ceiling fan was ready to fall, just hanging there by a few wires; the carpet which used to be silver, was now an adriatic blue, full of dirt and dust; and finally the bed was in terrible shape - it looked as if it had been in a cat fight and lost.
Inuyasha, seeing the pissed look on his best friend's face, nearly burst laughing. Miroku spun around hatefully. "What the hell is so funny?" He hissed.
The half demon wiped a tear away before standing straight once again. "Dude! There is no way I'd make you sleep in a place like this!" He smiled.
"What are you talking about?" Miroku was ready to punch his friend.
"This used to be the guest room until Sesshomaru and I destroyed the room beyond repair. The new guest room is right next to mine." Inuyasha stated, his arms crossed, before getting punched in the left cheek. "What the hell was that for?" He barked, looking up at Miroku angrily.
Miroku's face red with anger as he spoke. "I am tired right now, Inuyasha and I don't want to be messed with!"
The boys glared at each other until a young voice interrupted their stare down. "Go to bed idiots."
The two men turned their heads to see the boy from earlier staring at them.
"Why don't you?" Inuyasha glared back at the boy.
"I can't sleep thanks to you two!" The boy barked.
Miroku blinked at the young lad before stomping to his room still mad and slamming his door. Now it left just the kid and Inuyasha. The two looked at each other until Inuyasha cleared his throat and said "So, you must be my brother's kid."
The boy looked at him confusingly. "You're my uncle? But why were you so mean earlier?"
Inuyasha narrowed his eyes. "Because kid," he said. "When I was growing up, the world didn't like me so I nowadays I pretend I don't hear them talk behind my back or act like I care about a lit things. It's my only protection. The only people I have left now is Kagome, Miroku, Sango, and your mother. They don't care what I am."
"But what about my father? Doesn't he like you as well?" The boy asked curiously.
"Keh! As if!" Inuyasha scoffed. "Your father could care less about me! He hates me and I won't bother telling you why."
The young half demon looked down. "But why not?"
Irritated, Inuyasha growled slightly. "You ask too many questions. You know that kid?"
Looking up quickly with an annoyed look with fire in his eyes. "My name isn't kid. It's Date. Date Masamune Takahashi!"
Inuyasha smirked. "Named after the famous one-eyed daimyo active during the Sengoku period of Japanese history. Nice. Looks like your mother gave some great thought about your name."
Date just stared at him stupidly. "I don't know who that is. Sorry."
Inuyasha shook his head, realizing that Date probably doesn't go to school. 'Poor kid...' "Anyway," he started. "I'm off to bed. We can talk more in a few hours at breakfast."
Date's face brightened up and he quickly said okay before rushing off back to bed.
