I don't own The Hunger Games or Sucker Punch

On the screen it now shows the reaping of district 1. A woman in a gaudy red dress takes the stage.

"Happy Hunger Games!" She announces. "Of coarse ladies first".

She walks over to the podium.

"I-I volunteer!" Shouts a girl in the crowd.

"Well come on up", says the woman while taking the hand of the girl.

From appearance she looks about 14. She looks frightened, I don't understand why she would volunteer.

"State your name, dear", the woman instructs.

"Susan Torsney", she quivers.

Oh no. She's Cyndia's sister. Cyndia Torsney is the Victor of the last Quarter Quell. She won at the age of 12, not being a past victor. I already know to watch out for Susan. The woman announces another name.

"Lyle Pellish". The 13 takes the stage.

"Yeah, Lyle". Shouts boys in the crowd.

"Don't die", another one laughs.

From my guess the boy is shy, nice, and won't be a problem. At district 2 there are two volunteers Elena Pagette, who insist of being called Ella, and Florian Hawthorn an 18 ready to fight. From district 3 there are two younger tributes. The girl I missed her name. Lady or something. I've decided to call her Lady red because of her red hair that matches her red outfit. Lady red's partner is a boy name Kipp. For district 4 we have older tributes Celestia Avanell and Luca Tinley. From district 5 the girl really stands out to me. Her name is Kat Lovegreen. She's only 14, but for some odd reason I've grown attached to her already. Her partner's name is Munroe Cervera. A 18 who volunteers for his younger brother Kevin. In district 6 there are two 15s Mei Takaesu and Zenith Azbell. The two of them must be friends, they hugged and were literally crying on stage. Poor things.

I grab a piece of paper and started to write the tribute's names. I also took note of who to look out for and who I could possibly team up with. Suddenly it shows the replay of district 7.

"Lucy Kennett", She announces.

I gaze through the crowd to see who steps forward. I spot Rocket who starts to make her way to the stage. Rocket was also from the brothel. She was the only one who really cared about me and now I'll have to fight her.

"Rocket!" yells her sister.

Oh great Sweet Pea. She never liked me and I know she probably hates me now.

"Rocket don't-" A peacekeeper grabs her.

"No! Rocket!" She screams trying to break free. "Please I volunteer!" The peacekeeper lets go and she falls to her knees.

She quickly gets back up and goes on stage.

"State your name, dear", the women says putting the microphone to her face.

"Darcy Kennett", she reveals.

"Well Congratulations Darcy!" The woman says proudly. "Lets give this brave tribute a round of applause!"

No one claps. It remains completely silent. People wave their index and middle finger. This is a sign of thanks and respect. It used to be where people would kiss their middle three fingers and put them up, but it was banned after the second rebellion. The woman announces the boy's name but I missed it. A 12 takes the stage. He has dark brown hair and bright blue eyes. I guess I'll be calling him the blue eyed boy.

From district 8 we have a 13 named Elvira Tiller and a 15 named Luther Ometta. Even though Elvira's only 13 she looks pretty tough. At district 9 a girl name Claudine Moser volunteers for her sister. Her partner is a 12 named Arri. Poor thing was crying and begging his older brother to volunteer, but sadly he didn't. district 10's are a girl named Linet Lodish and a boy named Gavan Tracey. Gavan volunteered just like a tribute in district 1 would, just to show off. No doubt he'll end up becoming a carrier himself. In 11 the tributes are a 13 named Sage Croxen and a 17 named Rocky Breslaw. Even though Rocky is really tall and has huge muscles, he looks like a friendly person. Next it shows district 12. Devlin announces my name. The long pause I took before going on stage actually didn't look so bad on film. Next it shows Percy. After the anthem plays then it shows Caesar again. "Look at all those brave little tributes!" He announces. "Now lets have a look at last year's victor!" Last year's victor is a man named Roth. It shows him and the boy from 1. He picks up a rock and throws it at the boy's face, tumbling him to the ground. He picks up the rock and smashes his head in with it. I turn off the screen, but I can still picture the gruesome image. What happened to that boy is my future. That's what I have to look forward to.
