Hey guys sorry it's been a few weeks AND I JUST WANT TO SAY I GOT A REVIEW SAYING THAT THEY WERE SCARED I HAD GIVEN UP ON THIS FANFIC, I HAVEN'T I'M JUST REALLY LAZY. School started back up last week so I have homework and a college course with loads of course work in for next week… I haven't started the course work yet. I also had an exam on Thursday. Some of you asked about the Doctor Who Experience and yeah it was amazing. I didn't want to leave Cardiff. I went to the restaurant called 'Eddie's' where they filmed some scenes for series six in Doctor Who, out of the impossible astronaut episode. It was really cool. Also in Cardiff I found Lanto's shrine (Lanto out of Torchwood) and that was pretty cool. I don't know when I'll finish this as I'm currently in London at my brother's house so I'll try and finish it this weekend. Also on Friday last week, I saw the live performance of 'Richard The Second' by William Shakespeare starring David Tennant! It was really good. Anyway this isn't a diary, I'll get on with the story now. READ A GO GO!

Sparks Fly.

He was walking down from his flat with a grin on his face and a bouquet of roses in his hand. He took a short cut down an alleyway but heard something whimpering, a young woman whimpering.

He took his torch from his back pocket a shone it down the dark tunnel of brick walls. He saw a young woman in a beautiful blue dress with three men leaning over her, one pinning her against the wall. He straight away reacted by shouting at them. He was panicking. He didn't know what to do.

He spotted the knife in one of their hands and fear struck through him. Two of the men did a runner, the other one still held the woman firm against the wall.

He moved closer to the man holding the woman against the cold bricks and pulled him away. His first reaction was to hit him. So he did. Square in the eye. He pulled his arm back and hit the man again on the chin causing the man to fall to the floor. He took this opportunity to kick him in the stomach a couple of times. Then kicked the man a little lower causing the man to cry out loudly.

He watched for a few seconds as the man got up and stumbled away into the darkness. He then bent down to see the girl who had now fallen to the floor and fear struck through his mind.

Clara.

The girl was Clara. He lifted her chin up so she could see her face. He brushed the hair out of her face. Her eyes were weakly open and a weak smile graced her lips. He looked down and saw the stab wound in her stomach. Fear struck him again. He looked back up to her face.

Her eyes were shut, the life and colour gone from her face. He checked her pulse and there wasn't one.

She was gone. Yet he could still hear her voice calling him.

"Doctor… Doctor." He felt someone shaking him. "Doctor it's just a dream!" Clara called.

The Doctor's eyes shot open and as soon as he saw her he embraced her. Clara was surprised by the sudden hug but hugged him back with the same amount of passion. She stroked the back of his head gently to comfort him and she felt his tears soak her neck.

"Ooh. It's alright. I'm here. I'm not going anywhere." Clara whispered into his shoulder.

The Doctor let out a loud sob and held her tighter. She continued to stroke his hair with one hand and rubbed his back with her other.

She waited until his violent shakes subsided to shivers then leaned back so she could see his face; she still squeezed his upper arms to comfort him. His face was distraught. His eyes were red and filled with fear. There were tear stains down his cheeks and his bottom lip quivered slightly.

"Hey, I'm here its ok." Clara reassured him; rubbing his arms. "What happened in your nightmare?"

It took a moment for the Doctor to reply as he was still trying to catch his breath back. "I-it was the gang. I had a nightmare that I was walking down that alley way again and I saw you an- an-" He stopped and fresh tears came to his eyes.

"It's alright Doctor, whatever happened were both ok" She told him; wiping a stray tear from his cheek.

"I saw you an- and they had-" He swallowed heavily. "-Stabbed you, and you died." He finally told her and wrapped his arms around her again protectively.

"Shh. It's alright Doctor, it's ok I'm here." Clara told him whilst burying her head in his neck.

"I had the nightmare the other night, but this one seemed more vivid." He admitted into her hair. He breathed in her scent and it calmed him down. He closed his eyes and focused on nothing else but her being there; safe in his arms.

"Why didn't you tell me? A problem shared is a problem halved." Clara told him gently.

"I thought it was stupid and it was just a one off." The Doctor said; leaning back from her embrace and wiping his eyes.

"Nightmares aren't stupid. They aren't nice but they aren't stupid. I still have nightmares, everyone does and you know you can talk to me whenever you want about anything like that. Ok?" She told him firmly but still in a gentle tone.

"I know, I know and you can talk to me whenever you want. What do you have nightmares about?" He asked; cupping her small soft hand in his.

"I- I sometimes have them about my mother. I used to get them allot when I was a kid, but I would never tell my dad. He would get too upset. I would have nightmares about how my mum died. One nightmare that I kept having and still have is that my mum would come to me during the night and say it was my fault that she died." She told him, tears now falling from her eyes at the memory of the terrible nightmare.

"Hey shh." The Doctor soothed; pulling her in for a gentle hug. "It's ok, it's ok." He told her. "H-how did your mum die?"

"I don't know. My dad never told me. I asked him and he would just tell me 'When your older.'" Clara replied wiping her eyes.

"Well, you should ask your dad. I'm sure you're old enough now." The Doctor suggested; squeezing her hand gently.

"Yeah but I think he finally got over the fact that she's gone and I'm worried if I ask him it will bring back all the memories and make him upset." Clara said.

"Ok fair point. But wouldn't you rather know?" He asked gently.

"Yeah, maybe one day I'll ask him. When I think I'm ready and he's ready. But I don't want to ask and find out t-that." She swallowed and her eye lids fluttered slightly. "That it's my fault." She said; then breathed out heavily.

"Hey, I can assure you it isn't your fault. Clara, look at me." He told her; she looked up at him. "It wasn't your fault."

Clara gave him a sad smile then buried her head into his shoulder. The Doctor wrapped his arms tightly around her and stroked her back.

They sat there for a few moments until the Doctor's stomach rumbled causing Clara to giggle.

"Come on you. Breakfast" Clara said sitting up again. "And tonight, I think we should sleep at your place, it might help with the nightmares to be somewhere that you recognise." She told him; stepping of the bed and pulling him up by his arm.

"Ok but only if you come too." The Doctor told her.

"That's why I said 'we'. Now what do you want for breakfast?" She asked.

"I feel like cereal." He replied; and held her hand as they walked into the kitchen.

"Cereal it is then. I've got Weetabix, Corn Flakes or…" She scanned the cupboard; the Doctor watched her. He watched as she bent down and her tank top went up her waist revealing the small dimples on her back. He watched as she bent over, giving him a nice view of her bum which was only covered in small pyjama shorts. He blushed and became all flustered.

"…Oh!" She said as she found the content that she was looking for. "Coco pops!"

"Huh" He said; snapping out of his day dream. "Oh coco pops please!" He told her with a childish grin on his face; hiding the blush.

"I'm going to go into work today. I've got a shift at two and I feel much better." Clara told him as she dried the dishes that Doctor had just washed.

"Ok. I haven't got any shifts today. So shall I meet you at my place later?" He asked her.

"Yeah, what time?" She asked; putting the cutlery away.

"Uhm, well what time do you finish work?" The Doctor asked; passing her another damp bowl to dry.

"I finish at four. So shall I meet you at five?" Clara asked.

"Yeah five at my place. What time do you have to be at work?" He asked.

"My shift starts at eleven, it's half nine now," She told him; checking the clock in the kitchen. "So I'll set of in half an in an hour." She said; putting the last of the dishes into the cupboard.

"Ok you best start getting ready." The Doctor told her and hugged her from behind; he placed a gentle kiss to her cheek.

Clara turned around in his embrace and pecked him on the lips. "Ok, I'll see you in a moment." She told him and skipped off to her room to get dressed.

She emerged half an hour later. She walked into the living room where the Doctor sat reading the paper.

"Hey I'm gonna' be of then in five minutes." Clara told him as she grabbed her keys and slipped them into her small hand bag.

The Doctor's head whipped round when he heard her voice. His lips where parted slightly at the sight of her.

"You look beautiful." He told her. She wore a white blouse with a black pencil skirt and a small black blazer.

Clara blushed. She walked towards him and kissed his cheek. "Thank you." She said.

The Doctor wrapped her in a hug and kissed her passionately on the lips. "I'll see you later beautiful. My place, five" He reminded her with a smile.

"Yep, here's a spare key to my flat. Make sure you lock it when you leave." She told him, handing him the key.

"Yes, love." He told her and kissed her on the head. "See you later, enjoy your day at work."

"I'll try. See you, love you." She called back to him as she walked to the front door.

"Love you too!" He called; as she shut the door behind her.

The Doctor sighed happily. Right, now time to start planning for tonight, the Doctor thought to himself.

"Oh! You're in today! How are you, are you sure your well enough to be in work?" Rose asked as she walked into the office where Clara was sat working. Rose was Clara's only friend at work as she had only started in this job a few months ago. Rose and Clara were set as work partners.

"Yeah, course I am. If you can make it into work when you're pregnant, a black eye shouldn't have to stop me." Clara replied with a laugh, looking up at Rose. Clara stood up and embraced her friend.

"So who called in the other day?" Rose asked as Clara went and sat back down at her desk and she sat down on the desk next to her.

"What do you mean?" Clara asked; taking a sip out of her coffee she had got on the way to work.

"Some guy called in a couple of days ago to say you weren't coming in because you were ill and I know it wasn't your dad because I know what your dad sounds like. So who was it?" Rose asks again, smiling.

"Oh, well that was my boyfriend." Clara replied; smiling because she couldn't help but smile at the thought of him and blushing because she knew what was coming next.

"Oh! Tell me everything now!" Rose said excitedly.

"No, we have work to do!" Clara replied; attempting to change the subject, but failing.

"Ugh. Screw work. Tell me." Rose said; turning Clara's computer chair round to face her.

"Alright!" Clara said giggling.

"Right, what does he look like? How did you meet? What's he like? How long have you been together?" Rose asked.

"Well, He's tall, about a foot taller than me. He has dark brown hair. Green eyes. Large chin. Good cheek bones, seriously good cheek bones." Clara answered.

Rose giggled. "So, second question! How did you meet?" She asked again.

"Well, I was coming home from work one day. I went to catch a bus and I got on one but there weren't any seats left, but then he, John Smith but everyone calls him the Doctor, my boyfriend, got up and let me sit next to him. I nearly fell over when the bus moved but he caught me and we just got talking. We found out that we both live on the Powell estate and so I invited him round to mine for a cup of tea. Then he asked me on a date. But when I was walking to the restaurant for our date, these guys kind of tried to rape me but the Doctor walked in and stopped them. He took me home and I asked him to stay the night as I was scared the gang would come back. So he did and the next morning he asked me to be his girlfriend and of course I said yes." Clara replied; smiling and laughing at the memories.

"Oh that's adorable, but David had told me last night that his friend, whose nick name is the Doctor and real name John Smith, had met his girlfriend in the same way. Oh this is brilliant it's a small world isn't it!" Rose said

"Oh my stars. David knows the Doctor? Ha! You'll both have to come round to tea one day! Ooh! We could go on a double date!" Clara replied excitedly; grinning ear to ear.

"Yes! Defiantly! Anyway tell me more about him." Rose told her.

Clara just rolled her eyes and carried on.

Work seemed to go very quickly; well to be honest she didn't do much work. She was more just chatting about the Doctor.

She got the tube home. When she got home she went and packed a small bag; but as she went into her room there was a bouquet of roses left on her bed. She grinned and read the note that was next to them.

'See you later beautiful. – The Doctor xxxxx'

She blushed then smelt the roses. She put the bouquet in a vase. She went back to her room and packed a small bag. She filled the bag with a few items of clothing, phone charger, some make-up, hair straighteners, hair dryer, a few DVD's, tooth brush, pyjamas and her teddy bear called Ellie named after her mum.

She zipped up the bag and quickly got changed into one of her more casual dresses rather than her white blouse and black pencil skirt she had worn to work.

She did one last check for anything she may need from the flat, turned out the lights, grabbed her keys and set off to the Doctors. She checked her watch, it was five to five. Should be exactly on time, she told herself.

But as she looked up from her watch she jumped when the Doctor was right in her face.

"Wah!" She shouted and jumped back. "Oh it's only you Doctor. What are you doing? I was just coming over to yours." Clara told him.

He quickly embraced her. "Well the last time you walked alone to come and meet me you were attacked so I thought I'll come and get you myself."

"Oh." She smiled at how protective he was being. "Well come on then it's getting cold and dark."

"Yes it is. Come on." He wrapped an arm around her waist and she leant into him.

.

.

The Doctor opened the door to his flat. As she walked in she was embraced by the warmth. The Doctor shut the door and took her coat of her shoulders and hung it up.

"Wow your flats really nice." She told him as she followed him into the living room.

Set in the middle of the living room was a small table with candles and a single rose in the middle. A netted white table cloth covered the table.

"Oh" Clara said in awe. "Oooh I didn't know you had a romantic side." She told him. "I love it." Clara said and gave him a small kiss on the lips.

The Doctor pulled her chair out for her as she sat down. "I'll be back in a moment. I'm just going to get the food."

"Ok." She smiled.

The Doctor came back five minutes later with two dishes of Spaghetti Bolognese.

"Bon appétit!" The Doctor exclaimed as he placed one of the plates in front of Clara.

"Mmm. This is really good!" Clara told him as she took a mouthful of the dish. The Doctor gave her a look as if to say 'Really?' "Seriously Doctor, you can cook!"

"Thank you." He replied smiling

Whilst eating their dinner they had chatted about Clara's day at work. When they had both finished the Doctor went back into the kitchen and grabbed a couple of plates of chocolate cake.

He bought them back into the room and Clara's eyes lit up.

"Chocolate cake!" She exclaimed with a grin. She licked her lips as he placed the plate in front of her. He giggled as she dug into the cake.

"You missed a bit." The Doctor told her pointing to her cheek.

"Where?" She asked trying to find the spot and wipe it off.

"Come here." He laughed and licked it off her cheek. "There, all gone." He smiled as her cheeks went red.

They both finished and sat down on the sofa.

The Doctor had his arm around her and she leaned into him. He looked down at her and saw that she had fallen asleep. She looked so sweet bless her.

He moved from underneath her and carried her to bed.

He picked her pyjamas out of her bag and dressed her into them. He then tucked her into bed and climbed in himself.

The Doctor wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her into him gently.

"You are so cute and beautiful, Clara Oswald. I love you." Were his last words of that day as he too fell asleep.
