Shi's face had a flat affect, her eyes glazed over with depression. Her skin grew pale due to the lack of sunlight, and her body started to wither away with lack of adequate nutrient intake. Her delicate wrists were tattooed with seals, completely limiting her from using any chakra, let alone her own medical skills. Her wrist and ankles were covered in dried blood, from the constant chaffing of her metal cuffs, which chained her to the wall. Her chest bore the most interknit, complicated, seal. This stopped all chakra flow, completely drying her internal network out and draining her reservoir, which she had been storing spare chakra into for the past three years.
Her hair loss its natural shine, her plump lips were dry and cracked, her nails were brittle, and her skin was dry and frail. Her life force was slowing being drained from her.
"Shi, please, I beg of you, just tell us the formula to the solider pills. Help our medics make it. Once you do that I promise to release you from those horrible seals." Izuna begged the princess, kneeling outside of her jail cell, tears forming in the corner of his eyes.
Shi gulped, making eye contact with the Uchiha.
"If you truly loved me, you would let me go." She whispered, a single tear running down her cheek.
30 Days Prior
"SOMEONE SEDATE HER"
Uchiha medics surrounded the enraged Uzumaki. Her screams could be heard all around the compound as she threw ward beds, crash carts, and desk at numerous clan members. The veins in her arms and neck were visible as she let out more screams, her chakra infused fist sending craters at every person in her path.
"LET ME GO!" Shi screamed. Her anger soon turned into ominous laughter as she saw Uchiha members approached her with metal restraints. Nothing was strong enough to hold her down.
Shi blinked in confusion, moving at the speed of light to avoid a large fire ball aimed at her direction.
Izuna landed gracefully next to one of his clan's medics, his red eyes analyzing the situation already.
"We had her sedated, but your brother requested her to be awake for when he returned from his mission in a week. We decided to wake her early, to allow her to get accustomed to her new environment and to…prevent any possible freak outs the day Lord Madara returned." A medic franticly explained, his face filled with panic.
"I know almost every person becomes combative after waking up from our sedative, but I've never seen anything like this." Izuna muttered, watching the scarlet beauty stare him down from across the medical ward.
All other members of the ward were gone, running away the moment they saw his arrival, knowing it would be their only chance at survival.
"Leave." Izuna ordered the head medic, and only remainder.
"Are you sure?!" The brown-haired man asked, scared his cousin would get hurt.
"Yes, now leave." The medic ran, quickly disappearing through the doorway.
Izuna observed the girl watching him. Her eyes were wide, almost as if she was scared. Her fists were engulfed in malicious blue chakra. He could feel the negative energy in the room rising with every second.
"Shi, right?" No answer.
"Calm down, let's talk about this." Still no answer.
"Shi-" Izuna dodged her quick jab, his eyes already spinning, reading her next move before she even knew what it was. He quickly moved his head, avoiding another attack.
With the shift movement of his hand he caught her chin, forcing her to look into her eyes.
"P-please. I want to go home, p-p-please." Shi mumbled, tears running down her cheek. Her pupils dilated, and she slowly grew weak. She held onto Izuna chest, and fell into his arms, her bright eyes looking into his now onyx. "Please help me, I'm very sensitive to people's natures." She mumbled, her words slurring together. She tried forcing her eyelids to remain open, "You're truly a good hearted man, please help me." Her eyes closing, "Nice, generous..." She managed to voice, before falling into another deep slumber.
Izuna stared down at the girl, holding her tightly. A truly nice man. Nice. Generous. Good.
Never in his life, has anyone ever thought of him in a positive light. Her words sturred unfelt emotions in him. He had trouble understanding what he felt, heck, he had troubling even thinking clearly after hearing her words.
He gently lifted the scarlet beauty onto- the only remaining/intact- ward bed in the unit. H delicately placed her head down, knowing she had an extensive concussion from his brother's actions in the forest.
He sat next to her. Staring off into the distance.
Good hearted.
