Alright, New update! Sorry it's taken a bit, not a while but a bit.
Thank you, everyone who reviewed! It helped motivate me to make it sooner than later and I personally think the final part of this chap (silver's part.) was the best and I'm trying to give him and Gold a real sense of friendship among other things. Also- about the lack of the Hoenn and Sinnoh trio's lack of storyline and development, have no fear!(Hoenn is my favorite region, trio, Pokespe storyline, games and Ruby and Sapph are my favourite characters- along with Silver.) I'm just focusing on the Johto and Kanto trios' situations and dynamics For now.
And as if it needed to be said- I DO NOT OWN POKEMON!
Blue
This girl was really starting to get on Blue's nerves.
"What the hell is your problem?" Demanded Blue, getting right up in to Taylor's face.
"My problem?" She repeated, keeping composure before turning and then pointing to Yellow.
"She's the mutant with dwarfism!"
"Arceus, she did absolutely NOTHING to you!"
A cocky smirk came across Taylor's face.
"And you're not going to either, huh, little chicky?"
If She had caught that conversation on camera, Blue could have pinpointed the exact moment where she snapped.
"You Bitch!" She screamed, shoving her to the floor.
"You are a slut with no talents except flirting with every guy in sight!"
A small crowd had formed, mostly random people who were simply eating there, but there was also Taylor's entourage and a few of their friends and boyfriends.
"Ooh, says you, Taylor is the most popular girl in school, with a really hot boyfriend, you don't even have ONE." One shot.
"Yeah, you will NEVER get Green! He's WAY too good for you!" Another added.
Then just as Blue was about to make a comeback, Taylor sat there, on the ground,
and just started laughing.
"What's so funny?" Asked one of Taylor's friends, extremely puzzled.
"-Heheh! I know who this is! This is that other girl-Blue- who made those stupid friggin' posters."
As if on cue, all of the others began laughing at her, in sync.
Meanwhile, Yellow just stood there in shock.
"Yeah," Taylor sneered, getting up off the ground.
"Well, guess whose your competition for president?"
A look of utter hatred fell across the Dexholder's face.
"You mean runner-up?"
"Ooh, big talk!
Don't make me laugh!"
"Oh, I've already seen you laughing... Or was that you just having a late orgasm from all the guys you've probably fucked tonight?"
Taylor's expression turned serious, and then angry. Very angry.
"You know what?
I don't need to waste my time trying to insult this whore- She's a nobody."
And with that, Taylor and her posse sashayed back to their table."
"bitches..." She muttered under her breath hands placed on hips.
"Oh, Yellow!" Blue turned to her friend.
"You alright?"
"Um, just a little in shock... That sure was a lot over nothing, though..."
Yellow replied, voice a bit squeaky.
After Yellow quickly used the washroom Blue motioned for Yellow to walk with her.
They quickly reached Red and Green and very soon after that, a waitress came and led them to a booth, far away from Taylor and co's booth, luckily.
They all sat down, as the waitress introduced herself as Carley, then left.
Green quickly buried his nose in the menu, leaving Red, Yellow and Blue to conversation.
"You will never guess who me and Yellow just ran into." Said Blue to Red, plopping open her own menu.
"Who?"
"Gold's girlfriend."
"Taylor, oh really?
What happened?" Asked Red, unaware of the answer that he was about to hear.
Taking a deep breath, she explained in detail the run-in with Taylor.
"Really?" He exclaimed, unbelieving with some anger in his voice.
"Um, it's... fine." Said Yellow quietly.
"Sticks and stones."
Red shrugged and glanced down at his menu, Blue and Yellow following his lead seconds later.
Minutes later, the waitress returned, armed with a pen and notepad, ready to take their orders.
"I will have the sirloin steak and..." Green held up his empty glass of water.
"A refill on the water."
"Hmmm... I think I'll have the grilled chicken with caesar salad and a Shirley Temple."
"The fish and chips and a... Diet coke."
"I think I'd like the BackCountry burger, no lettuce with..."
Out of the corner of his eye, Red noticed Blue mouthing-' Have what she's having!'
He quickly realized she was probably right and changed his mind.
"Actually, I'll have the fish and chips, ketchup not tarter sauce.
The waitress nodded rapidly and scribbled down the orders before heading back to the kitchen.
"On a lighter note... Anyone see the trailer for the 'Born again, live again' sequel?"
Isn't the first one Yellow's favourite movie?"
"Uh, yeah! It is." Confirmed Yellow, smiling ear to ear and still blushing slightly.
Blue smirked slightly to herself and kept the conversation going.
"Hey Greenie, what's your favourite movie?"
Green sighed and looked to Blue, hesitating before giving his answer.
"Home before the final christmas."
"Oh. My. God."Blue responded unable to contain her laughter, cupping her hand over her mouth, eyes widened and giggles making their way through the gaps.
"Uh, what's so funny?" Asked Red, puzzled.
"Yeah, I haven't seen that one."
"Hehehe- It's a LOVE STORY in world war 2!-hehahaha!"
The table erupted in laughter, Green trying to explain his reasoning.
"Me and Daisy watched it during the holidays every year-" He began, before quarter-smiling sheepishly and muttering- "Pesky girl."
Emerald
"Hey, Crystal,"
Crys sighed and looked over from the movie, out of drooped eyes.
"What?"
"Umm..." Began Emerald, not expecting her to be so out of it.
"My class just got completely bombarded with work and stuff and I was hoping you'd be able to help me out..?"
"Not now." she mumbled, diverting attention back to the movie.
It was getting really awkward, really quickly and as a result, Rald sprung up from his seat in between Ruby and Pearl.
Realizing he didn't have anywhere to go, he headed into the kitchen.
About a minute of doing nothing at the kitchen table later, Platinum came up to Rald.
"Emerald, I overheard you say you needed help with homework.
I, myself, would be happy to assist you with it."
The short blond teen was caught off guard once again and hesitated in between words.
"Um... Aren't you, like... My age, or a year older or whatever?"
"Actually, I am taking advanced courses and have already mastered the elements you are learning."
"Uh, So it's no problem at all?"
"No problem at all."
Rald grinned.
"Okay, yeah... Yeah! You are pretty smart and stuff."
Platina's half smile remained the same as she bowed slightly and returned to the couch.
The Hoenn native continued on with his... Nothingness, and then, it donned on him.
Since Crystal was so out of it, he could have as many snacks as he wanted.
Green
Although he would never admit it to anyone but Red, Green had had a great time out with his fellow Kanto dexholders.
The night was just wrapping up, with the boys and Blue paying for dinner, and everyone piled into Green's convertible.
After he quickly shoved in and then turned the key, he gripped the wheel, Blue next to him, flipped through radio stations until she found some energetic R&B/Pop or whatever crap was on the teen target pop station.
In the back, Yellow quietly dozed off in Red's arm, who himself, looked quite tired.
Not Green, though as he pulled out of the parking lot and turned onto the lane leading to the campus.
Blue shook around, waving her arms to the music while cars past by and soon, they pulled up next to their dorms closest parking lot.
Both got out and looked into the backseats.
Green quietly opened Red's door and snapped in front of Red's half asleep face.
His head immediately snapped up, eyes widened.
"Huh-!" He muzzled loudly, looking from Green to Blue and then back.
Green remained silent but pointed to Yellow.
The kanto league champion rose out of the car and stretched out a little before before rounding the back of the car, opening the door, and picking up Yellow in his arms.
Then, silently, they all made their way down the path to the dorm room, and then to their bedrooms.
Gold
Gold just wanted to come back to the dorm and go to sleep.
That was all he wanted after a horrendous first week and a great friday night.
But no, that just couldn't happen because with his luck, he could never catch a break.
Gold slows creaked open the door, after saying a quick goodbye (among other things.) and jumping out of her friend Jess' car, hoping to Arceus anyone but Silver wasn't up.
But as soon as he peaked out from the door, he damned Arceus.
And Mew and latios and latias.
Staring at him from on the couch was Crystal and a bunch of other dexholders.
To be honest, his first thought wasn't- 'DAMMIT!' Or 'why me? Why me?' His first thought was that Crystal looked like shit.
Her hair was all messed up, she was wearing a baggy t shirt and sweatpants and just generally looked unattractive.
Her blank expression turned into a scowl and then she just looked back up at the TV.
Apparently he could catch a break.
"Wow..." He mumbled under his breath.
'That went better than expected.'
Trying not to linger he quickly made it to his door, unlocked it, then entered.
He sighed a breath of relief and hopped onto his bed, noticing Silver on his phone on his bed.
"How was your date?" Asked Silver, not even peering up from his phone.
"Well," started Gold, before taking a deep breath and explaining his friday night.
Hours ago...
"Mew, I WANT that top!" Exclaimed one of Taylor's friends, pointing to a marigold crop-top on a mannequin torso in the window of a small boutique.
"Um, NO.
Not right now, at least."
The friend rolled her eyes and continued towards the restaurant, although trudging from that point on.
She didn't speak up again, blending right back into their large group of Taylor's entourage, and a few boyfriends.
"Hey, Gold." Said Taylor, retaining her gaze forward, from the front of the pack.
Gold glanced over.
"Ever hear of the Fall Ball?"
Gold narrowed his eyes and smirked.
"Yeah, I have, EVERYone has."
"Who you going with?"
"You, I thought, are we not?" He replied, raising an eyebrow.
"Who else would I go with?"
It was Taylor's turn to grin, devilishly, though.
"I dunno, your uggo friend- whatshername?" She fumbled briefly, raising her arm and glancing up.
"OH! Crystal!" She exclaimed, snapping her fingers, then snickering at the thought.
"Ha!"
Taylor elbowed him lightly in the gut.
"I know, I know... pfft- HAHAHAH-!"
Present time...
"-And then we got to the restaurant, had some dinner, hung out- apparently she got into a bit of a cat fight- went back to to her dorm with her best friends and watched a movie."
"Hm." Replied Silver.
"Whatever, i'm going to bed.
Night."
"Night." Returned Gold as Silver pulled up the covers, the onto him.
...
"Ugh..." Muttered Gold, rubbing his heavily bagged eyes while trudging down the seemingly endless corridor that lead to Oak's office.
Honestly he had no clue why the old man had called him down, on a saturday no less.
"Cht," he mumbled, numbly, opening the ironically oakwood door.
"Gold-" Greeted the headmaster, neither happily nor angrily, as he glanced up from his paperwork, and took off his reading glasses.
"Have a seat."
The amber eyed teen took his seat and looked up at Oak who stared intently at him.
"I know it's not in your best interest to come her on a saturday morning
but I need to know if Ruby can tutor you."
Gold sweatdropped and remembered their conversation.
"Oh- Yeah! Ummm... Ruby, hasn't given me an answer yet!"
"GOLD, DO NOT LIE TO ME."
He sighed.
"No, the little fag said he wouldn't."
"GOLD! That's insulting and do not use that language!"
"Mew, fine."
"But with that-" The professor paused momentarily.
"Crystal will become your tutor."
His eyes widened.
"Wha-NONONONONONO-!"
"Gold, we have already discussed this and doing it again would be a waste of time."
"But-but...!
No! There are complications!"
"No, there are not!" He replied a final time.
"This conversation is over.
Enjoy your saturday."
Silver
Saturday's for Silver usually meant spending the majority of the day training alone, getting some take-out and going home to unwind by watching TV.
On occasion, he would do something with Blue or Gold and Crystal (which definitely would NOT be happening.)
Today was the same old, same old as he woke up at 11:30, made coffee and toast, got his gear ready and set off to a small clearing in a nearby woods.
Since his father was a crime lord and felt he owed it to his son for missing years of his life and being a deadbeat dad, he'd paid the full tuition for the academy and had given him a freaking car.
After tossing his pack onto the back seats, he hopped into the driver's seat and with Weavile next to him, he turned the ignition, grasped the wheel and put the pedal to the metal.
...
As Silver pulled into a spot at the parking lot nearest to his destination, he noticed no other cars.
He put it in break and got out, admiring the overcasted scenery, momentarily.
Weavile grinned mischievously then cackled, before summersaulting out of the open window.
Landing perfectly, he briefly admired himself, then caught up to Silver, who had began making his way to the path that lead to the clearing.
The path walk itself was short; Silver walking it in about three minutes; and after those few minutes, he stood at the end of of the forest path and the edge of the 10 acre clearing, mostly grass with a bit of rocky surface and then a little sand that led into a small lake with a large stream that lead in and out of it on either side and a cliff at the end with more trees on top, and a waterfall from the top of the it.
Breathtaking, someone other than Silver might say.
But not him, having already released Rhyperior, Feraligatr, and Honchrow.
Silver then quickly let out Gyrados and Kingdra into the lake and stood, arms crossed, in the middle of all of them.
"Alright, all of you-!" He pointed to the land Pokemon.
"Cross the perimeter, come back- Then over again."
He then pointed to aquatics.
"Kingdra, timed waterfall, Gyrados- Hydro Pump, then when you're both done, Gyrados start a whirpool- Then Kingdra, stop it."
They nodded and then began training.
...
After about an hour of non stop working, Honchcrow let out a loud cry, causing Silver to spin around rapidly.
There was Gold, with his usual chaotic, jet-black hair, under his usual baseball cap, and wearing a blood red hoodie, unzipped, over a plain gold-ish longsleeve.
"Hey bud, what'cha up to?"
"Training," he replied simply.
"You?"
"Well... I have to be fuckin' tutored by Crys and- well, yeah."
"Tough break." He responded again.
"Yeah, it sucks- But-! I was hoping we could have a battle?"
A hint of a smile lurked across the Trader's lips, looking more like a smirk.
"Always."
...
"TOGEBO! Dive, then wing attack!"
The speedy, egg-like pokemon obeyed, diving extremely quickly, and pulling up at the last second, gaining enough speed to slam it's wing right into Honchcrow.
"Cht." Muttered Silver.
"Not bad."
"Heh." Gold smiled, eyes narrowed.
The red haired teen pulled a Pokéball off his belt and clicked it's button, releasing Weavile.
"Weavile strategy Alpha!"
The Weavile grinned a huge, terrifying grin, just before charging forward at a blistering speed and in a fury of ice claws, knocked out Togebo before any counter could be called.
Weavile jumped back about 7 feet, raised his claw inches from his mouth, and blew, incredibly cliché-like.
"Lucky blow!" Called Gold, jokingly.
"Oh, uh-... NO PUN INTENDED!"
He reached onto the back of his belt when suddenly, the ground near the lake began rumbling.
And the as soon as it started, it was over, with a huge 20 foot Gyrados at the edge of the lake, having emerged and then cried out, exposing it's razor sharp teeth.
Right when Silver saw it, he scrambled madly back to Gold where they both held their position, waiting.
It stared at them, unblinking.
Silver understood and held it's gaze, being careful not to blink, himself.
But Gold had no clue what he was seeing and looking from the Gyrados, to Silver, and the back again, blinking after the second view.
Unfortunately, the humongous water serpent noticed, roared, then let loose a powerful dragon rage.
Both Johto Dexholders dived out of the way, then looked over at each other, eyes meeting, knowing what to do.
Gold threw out a Pokéball, effectively letting Sunbo, his Sunflora loose.
Silver looked over at Weavile, who was already facing him, and he grinned his signature mischievous grin.
"Plan A!" Exclaimed Gold, causing Sunbo to let loose a barrage of Bullet seeds in Gyrados' direction as weavile sprinted forward, jumped across water, onto the furious beast, climbed up to its head, resisting it's attempts to shake it off.
The dark speedster let out an excited yet furious battle cry and then dug his claws right into the top of it's head, taking them out, and shoving them into the scaly flesh once again.
The monstrous beast cried out in pain as it fell backwards into the lake, Weavile diving a good 15 feet onto land.
Both captive Pokémon returned to their trainers side and once again waited.
But this time, nothing, the Gyrados choosing to stay retreated.
Both trainers brushed off dust and dirt, Gold calling back his sunflower-like companion.
Silver just stared at the lake, before Gold cleared his throat.
He grinned.
"That was totally 70% Sunbo."
"No way, you dumbass."
