"How about we divide and conquer," Tommy suggests as he eyes the files.
"Sure," Kim picks up a piece of paper. "If this proves my innocent will you treat me to drinks and maybe dinner?"
Tommy glances up from the baby he was looking over, "Damn if we can prove your innocence I will treat you to the best steak in town plus buy you flowers."
"Well in that case then let's get busy proving my innocence," Kim begins checking over her paper. "This paper has bank transfers that I know nothing about."
"Put that right here; we will place the papers in three files," Tommy tells Kim as he reads the back of the document. "One for the no pile, one for the maybe pile, and one for the pile that definitely has something of importance on it."
Kim gives Tommy a small smile before she puts the paper down. She picks up another paper. "More bank transfers on this paper."
"Okay I am betting that there is more bank transfers which means he was definitely laundering money to an account," Tommy smiles. "I think this paper has the alias name he was using." "Now if we can only find out if he was sending the money to himself or to someone else?"
"Wow, this is like a television drama about crime," Kim shakes her head. "Too bad it is about my life through or else it might be fun to watch."
Tommy glances at Kim before picking up another document. "This one has nothing on it of relevance." "No need to even look at this pap..."
"Why wait is on that paper," Kim questions as she reaches for the paper.
"Nothing you need to worry about," Tommy tosses the paper over his head.
Kim narrows her eyes at him before she rushes to retrieve the paper. She looks over the paper. "I am perfectly fine with seeing this type of stuff." Kim sits back down on the couch. "Honestly I am okay with looking at his expenses from his secret credit card that he used on many women." Kim rolls her eyes. "In a way I kind of feel bad for Kat; she thought he loved her when he was just using her like he was using me."
"You are a good soul because I would burn that paper after I found out who each woman was and did her harm," Tommy chuckles.
"Oliver I am at a loss for words," Kim giggles with him.
Tommy pretends to look shocked. "You why I never…" Tommy picks up another paper and begins searching through it. "The anagram that Jerry was using is waking dons." Tommy snaps his fingers. "King Dawson; what a tool," Tommy laughs.
"Scrabble freak," Kim laughs. "Sounds like a name he would use; I wonder most of the time what I ever saw in him to begin with."
"I am sure he was a good actor and showed you what you wanted to see to make himself look appealing when in fact he was appalling," Tommy sets the paper down.
Kim looks over the paper in her hand. "I guess he was good at that most sociopaths are." "I just thought I had better intuition than that."
"I think you do," Tommy pats Kim on the back. "Do not beat yourself over it."
"Thanks, I won't," Kim hands Tommy the paper she was holding. "Look at this."
Tommy takes the paper from Kim. "Boeing is a company that Larry Mathis uses as a cover for one of his illegal operations." "Money was wired to the company under the fake alias Jerry used." "This all but proves your innocence; I bet tomorrow once I check father into this it will show that Jerry was working with the mob and will give us another prime suspect." "Why would they silence Jerry?" Tommy shakes his head. "Sleeping with Kat and countless other women does not give them a motive to murder Jerry and Kat."
"I guess we can continue searching for the facts tomorrow," Kim stretches.
"Well, Kim I am sorry for how I have treated you," Tommy runs a hand through his hair.
Kim glances at Tommy. "It is al…"
Tommy interrupts Kim. "No, it is not okay; I was taking my anger out on you and I should not have and for that I am sorry." "It's just that well it would be better explained if I show you what is in the box that I would shoot the hell out of you for," Tommy stands up and retrieves the box from the closet. "My brother was murdered and his wife was the main offender but only her lackey is in prison for the crime."
Kim watches as Tommy opens the box. "Tommy wait I have something to confess."
Tommy looks at Kim with a curious expression. "I am listening."
"I uh… I um looked through the box when you went out and Adam was watching me," Kim bites her bottom lip. "He did not know I looked at the box; he was talking to Aisha when my pen flew across the room and rolled under the closet door." Kim gives Tommy a sheepish look. "I opened the closet door to retrieve the pen when I noticed the box and a war vs good and evil went on inside my head about what to do." "I guess the curious side won out and I looked inside the box and discovered why you had a problem with me."
"Are you finished," Tommy questions.
Kim nods her head. "I never meant to… I just had to know why you were such an asshole to me and I completely understand and if you want to go back to being mean I understand that as well."
"I will ask again; are you finished," Tommy glances at Kim.
"Yes, I am finished," Kim, sighs.
Tommy gives Kim a small smile. "I am not upset that you went through the box." "If I had not been so quick to judge you then you would have known what was in the box and had not reason to snoop when I was away." "If you are still feeling guilty then you can help me; I am trying to pin Bonnie but I am coming up short."
"Okay I can do," Kim watches as Tommy begins pulling items out of the box.
"This is the evidence I have collected against Bonnie but it is not enough to make her serve life in prison," Tommy frowns down at a picture of his Bonnie.
Kim glances at the picture. "She does not seem like the type to commit that kind of murder but looks can be deceiving." "Take me for instance."
"Here look at this picture," Tommy hands Kim a picture with Bonnie dressed provocatively. "She used this little number to try and have sex with me."
"Well… that changes everything; the look in her eyes is not one of an innocent housewife but of a woman who is hell bent on having a fortune and will do anything to get it," Kim rolls her eyes.
Tommy glances at the picture. "She was hell bent to the point of murdering my brother and trying to seduce me." "When I tried to warn him he just shrugged me off and when he began to realize what kind of woman she was he wound up dead."
"I am sorry but you will get justice," Kim picks up a piece of paper.
"Thank you," Tommy looks at a picture of his brother. "This was David a few nights before he was murdered in his home." "I still cannot go back to the house although I have fond memories of him there." "We built the porch swing that is in the background."
Kim glances at the picture. "No wonder you were really out to see me fry," Kim shakes her head. "He looks so much like you as if you two were twins." "The porch swing is nice."
"We got that all the time," Tommy sets the picture down. "Normally I am able to solve these sorts of cases in a reasonable amount of time but with my brother and at first with yours it is proving to be difficult." "I had to fight tooth and nail to even get assigned this case since I am too close to the victim but I just had to have it or else I would never be able to feel right again."
"I understand; I do not know what I would do if I had a sibling and he or she was taken away from me in the way you had to endure," Kim pats Tommy on the arm. "Say want to handcuff me to something just like old times eh?"
Tommy smiles, "No, I am alright but thank you for that." "How did you turn out so nice I thought wealthy people were snobs?"
"I guess I was one of the blessed ones," Kim reaches inside the box and pulls out a picture.
"So, what do you think," Tommy asks. "Do you think I have anything to put that murdering bitch behind bars for life?"
Kim looks at Tommy. "Do you think there is a magnifying glass in the house?"
"I think so why," Tommy asks as he looks back at Kim.
"Well I want to check something out first and if I am correct than I will let you know," Kim watches as Tommy goes to recover the item she asked for.
Tommy walks back into the living room two minutes later. "We played clue in this house once and I knew we had one somewhere."
Kim nods her head as she accepts the magnifying glass. She glances at a specific spot on the picture. "Ha I knew it." "Check the time on the watch."
"Okay," Tommy takes the picture and magnifying glass from Kim. "Eleven-thirty pm is the time on her watch." Tommy looks at Kim.
"Exactly and when I searched over the file of her whereabouts it said that she was nowhere near the house but this proves she was dishonest when she said she was at the bar during that time." Kim picks up the file. "David was murdered at eleven right on the dot." Kim picks up another picture. "This picture has the time stamped at eleven on the dot; so let's see her weasel her way out of this one and I am sure that there are more pictures to support your case." "She must be a real black widow to take pictures this brazen during the murder."
Tommy pulls out the rest of the pictures and begins searching through them as well. "Oh my gosh, Kim you are a genius; I have no idea how I missed this."
"My guess is that you were grieving and so determined that you over looked it," Kim smiles at Tommy. "No one has called me a genius in that sense in a long time although I was ranked second in my graduating class." "So, you can handcuff me and go arrest Bonnie."
"No, I am not going to do that tonight; she is not a flight risk besides it is dinner time," Tommy stacks the pictures next to Kim's papers. "We have to make sure it is safe for you to go out; I do not feel right leaving you alone and handcuffed at that." Even if Adam is here I would feel uncomfortable leaving you here in anyone's care but mine. Tommy wished he could have said his thought aloud. "How about something simple… sandwiches and chips?"
Kim shakes her head. "Tommy you have been waiting for this moment for so long I cannot have you wait to take Bonnie down because of me."
"I chose to wait so you have no choice but to do as I say," Tommy walks into the kitchen and washes his hands. "Until you are deemed safe both our cases remain as is okay."
"Alright if you say so," Kim washes her hands and joins him making sandwiches. "What type of chips do you want?"
Tommy thinks for a second. "The new Doritos will do fine." "A beer will be fine."
"How did you know I was going to ask that next?" Kim looks at Tommy.
"Well you are not the only one who can read minds sweetheart," Tommy sets two plates on the kitchen table. "So how was your day dear," Tommy jokingly asks.
Kim laughs, "Not as bad as I thought it would be honey." After a prayer, Kim bites into her sandwich. "This is one mouthwatering sandwich."
"Glad you like it; I cook like nobody's business," Tommy bites into his sandwich. "After we eat do you want to watch a movie or play a board game if you are not too riled up from the day's festivities?" "I can understand if you just want to sleep."
"I am not too riled up but I do not know what I am in the mood for," Kim takes another bite of her sandwich. "Maybe we can watch the television until we doze off."
Tommy nods his head. "I feel that way too." He eats a chip. "I guess we should put it on a boring channel than huh."
"Sounds like a plan except sometime during the night I will have to turn the television off; it will eventually wake me up and will need to be turned off." Kim takes a sip of beer. "I do not understand how people can stay asleep with the television or radio on."
"I know what you mean," Tommy takes a bite of his sandwich. "I cannot stand to have a light on either it drives me crazy."
Kim nods her head. "I used to make Jerry go in the next room when he decided to stay up all night long or wanted to watch television when I was trying to sleep."
"He sounds like an insensitive jerk," Tommy takes a long swig of his beer.
"What about the last girl you dated or is that Hayley," Kim asks as she eats a chip.
Tommy sets his beer down. "It was Hayley; we have an off and on relationship that I see going nowhere actually," Tommy glances at Kim.
"Does she know that," Kim asks. "Whoa you do not have to answer that I was being too bold."
"No, I can answer that; she understands what it is but I think she wants more," Tommy eats a handful of chips. "I like her but I just cannot bring myself to love her as she would like me too."
Kim nods her head. "I had a relationship like that before I met Jerry and I thought Jerry saved me from dating a man that I could never love." "Thinking back on it Patrick was a better man."
Tommy bites into his sandwich. The thought of Kim with anyone made him upset. "So do you still talk to Patrick?"
"No, once I become engaged to Jerry he made sure I lost contact with Patrick," Kim eats a couple of chips. "Which is a shame because he was a sweet man," Kim takes a bite of her sandwich.
"Do you wish you could get back into contact with him," Tommy questions.'
Kim eats a chip. "Actually no, he was nice and all but dull."
"So you like your man with a sense of adventure," Tommy asks as he finishes off his chips.
"In a way yes; I like to travel and try new things," Kim eats the last of her sandwich. "What about you do you like women who are adventurous?"
Tommy finishes his sandwich. "Yes, I do; in my spare time I like to go on expeditions and search for artifacts especially dinosaur bones."
"Really I did not peg you as the type," Kim eats her last chips.
"At first I had no desire to but one day I did a mini expedition and enjoyed it," Tommy drinks his beer. "Now I go a few times out the year if I can."
Kim picks up the plates and washes them. "Sounds like fun."
"Maybe you can join me on one," Tommy throws Kim and his beer bottle in the recycle bin. "I guess you can shower then I can go after you."
"Alright," Kim walks in front of Tommy to the bedroom. "Wait before we shower; how about telling me how you took out the men watching my house," Kim sits down on the bed.
Tommy sits down next to her. "Well, it was only one and he was sitting in his car about to doze off." "I merely tricked him into exiting the car and put him into a sleep hold before he passed out." Tommy shrugs his shoulders. "No biggie."
"I cannot believe they only had one criminal out to get me; I know I am petite but I would have liked to hear at least four were standing guard." Kim pouts. "My little pride is offended."
"Kimberly you really are too much," Tommy, laughs.
Kim glances at Tommy. "Too much that seems unfair; I would have liked to hear the mob thought of me as more of a threat," Kim moves hair out of her face.
Tommy watches Kim move hair out of her face and before he knew what his hands were doing, he had placed his hand in her hair.
"Tommy…" Kim gasps as she stares into his soulful brown eyes.
"I have been wanting to do this sense I first laid eyes on you," Tommy kisses Kim.
Kim kisses him back. "Really I thought you wanted to arrest me and gloat."
"That too but I am a man after all and seeing a beautiful woman with a stunning figure well let's just say I enjoyed handcuffing you to things," Tommy pulls Kim closer to him and kisses her.
"Ooh," Kim moans as Tommy tongue enters her mouth. Kim straddles on top of Tommy. She had wanted to kiss him for a couple of days now.
Tommy loves the feel of Kim on top of him. Did I really just kiss Kim and she is kissing me back? He infuses his hands in her hair and gives her a passionate kiss.
Kim can feel herself becoming bolder by the second. She reaches her hand in between them and cups his bulging erection through his blue jeans. "It has been so long since I have been with a man and a good one at that."
"I am the one to make you feel bliss again," Tommy moves one of his hands from her hair and caresses it down her body.
"Hmm," Kim arches her body in tune with Tommy's hand. She needed to see him shirtless and removes his shirt within seconds.
Tommy glazes into Kim's eyes. "Time to level the playing field," Tommy removes Kim's shirt with her still sitting in his lap. He gently touched her left breast through her bra.
"That feels so good," Kim arches into Tommy's hand.
"It will feel better once I do this," Tommy unhooks Kim's bra. He begins massaging her breasts. "See that feels a whole of a lot better now doesn't it."
Kim can barely nod before Tommy takes a nipple into his mouth. "Tommy."
As Tommy takes the other one into his mouth, he swiftly removes her pants soon followed by her underwear. He lays her down on the bed. "You truly are beautiful; I do not understand how any man could cheat on you." Tommy reclaims a nipple as he lies down on top of Kim.
"Oh," Kim gasps as Tommy licks from one breast to the other. She needed something to grab on to a settles one hand in his hair and the other clutching the cover.
There was not an inch of Kim that Tommy did not taste or touch. "Kim, you are stunning." Tommy kisses Kim with a passion. "Are you really going to let me make love to you?"
Kim's response was to unbutton Tommy's pants and pull them down his legs. "I do not think I could stop even if I wanted too." Kim smiles as Tommy kicks off his pants. "You have the best body that I have ever laid eyes on. Kim gets on her knees and rubs Tommy's chest and abs. "How about we even out the playing field," Kim sticks her hands into the waistband of his briefs and slowly pulls his underwear down. "I am going to enjoy this."
Tommy blushes at Kim's compliment. "Glad you approve."
"Oh I more than approve," Kim slowly licks Tommy's chest to his navel. As Kim traveled farther, Tommy stiffened.
"If you do that I might not last as long as I should," Tommy tells Kim.
Kim grins widely as she kisses him on the lips again. Her warm and inviting mouth traveled down from his lips to his chest again. Kim uses her hands to touch his erection before her mouth descends to his shaft. A tiny drop of his essence spilled out and Kim licked it off with her tongue. Kim could feel his heartbeat faster.
Tommy watched Kim warm, passionate mouth on his shaft and tried to utter a few words but nothing came out but a moan. He watched Kim stoke and lick him until he could take it no longer and pulled her to him. Tommy looked into Kim's eyes before he entered her slowly.
The next morning, Kim awakens in Tommy's arms.
"Mm I thought I just had the best dream but seeing as how I am in your arms and not handcuffed to the bed proves otherwise," Kim smiles at Tommy.
"It was not a dream Beautiful," Tommy lifts Kim's head and kisses her. He intertwines his hand with hers, "No regrets right."
Kim looks at their hands entwined. "No regrets."
"Good," Tommy grins down at Kim. "While you were sleeping I made this." Tommy lifts a tray from the table next to the bed and sets it in Kim's lap.
"Ooh breakfast in bed," Kim eyes the food. "After last night I need all the energy I can muster."
Tommy watches as Kim feeds him a grape. "We did have an eventful night."
"One that I hope happens often," Kim pops a strawberry into her mouth.
"I can arrange that," Tommy pours syrup over the waffles. "You know you look stunning in the morning," Tommy puts the syrup jar down on the tray.
Kim wrinkles her nose. "Ha, I have not had makeup on in days and I bet I have bed hair."
"You have that just woke up look which is sexy as hell and you are one of those women who do not need any makeup," Tommy smiles as Kim feeds him a piece of waffle.
"How did you become such a smooth talker," Kim questions as she eats a bite of waffle.
Tommy gives Kim a sly smile. "I guess it took me meeting an attractive woman."
Kim blushes at Tommy's compliment. "I bet you say that to all the girls."
"No, Kim you are truly gorgeous and I wanted to say all these things to you once I realized that I was a fool for being so mean to you," Tommy sips the coffee from the mug on the tray. "Now, I have given compliments to good-looking women but none as striking as you before."
"Tommy, the way you are talking and breakfast in bed makes me never want to be away from you," Kim giggles as Tommy kisses the base of her throat.
Tommy feeds Kim another piece of waffle. "I have a surprise for you."
"What is it," Kim asks after she swallows the piece of waffle.
"It will not be a surprise if I tell you," Tommy chuckles.
Kim laughs as she sips her coffee. "I guess you are right."
"I know I am," Tommy eats a sausage. "Tell me about yourself?"
"Well I like the colors pink, green, and black, I have been a gymnast all my life, I love to sing, I graduated college with my friends which I thought I was not going to do, I like to shop, and I like to garden." "What about you?" Kim eats a piece of bacon.
Tommy swallows a piece of waffle. "I love martial arts, paleontology, I like the colors green, white, and black, and red is a secondary color that I like, I have a youth program, I love to eat, I like to travel, I sometimes forget things, and I have been undercover a few times."
"As in our kind of undercover last night or real undercover," Kim asks Tommy as she feeds him a piece of bacon.
"Both but the first only with you; I have never slept with a suspect besides you," Tommy confesses. "I had never wanted to before."
Kim chews on a piece of sausage. "Good to know."
"So, let's go shower," Tommy places the tray on the table. "I will go wash this few dishes and we can go bathe then find something to do."
"Of course shower is what we both need right now," Kim walks with Tommy into the kitchen.
Tommy quickly washes the few dishes. "How about we shower and remain naked until the surprise?" "What do you think?"
"I think as delightful as that is we are not in the Garden of Eden." Kim laughs.
"We could be just wait and see," Tommy picks Kim up and takes her into the bathroom. "It is so much better to be in here with you then have you throw bloody clothes at me."
Kim nods her head. "Or had you given me a few minutes to shower."
"Let me make it up to you," Tommy lifts up Kim's shirt and removes her underwear. He turns on the shower. "I will make up for the past few days."
"I thought you did that last night," Kim removes Tommy's briefs. She steps into the shower.
Tommy smiles as he joins her inside the shower. The steam from the shower begins to fill the room. He can feel himself harder at the sight of her naked body with water spraying over her body. Tommy pressed Kim to his body and lifts her up, "You feel good wet."
"So how much actually showering are we going to do," Kim asks with a shudder.
"Oh we are going to do showering and this," Tommy massages Kim's back. He holds her with one arm as he grabs a sponge.
Kim grins as she reaches for the soap. "I like this form of showering." Kim squeezes soap into the sponge that Tommy was holding.
"I knew you would," Tommy lathers up the sponge and rubs the sponge on Kim's arms. He moves south towards the curve of her breasts. "These two need a lot of attention."
"Yes, they do," Kim breathily replies as Tommy begins to massage her breasts with the soapy sponge. "Now my turn to do you," Kim takes the sponge from Tommy and mirrors what Tommy had just done to her. "We are keeping the playing field fair."
Tommy nods his head as he takes back the sponge. "In that case," Tommy moves to Kim's stomach and farther.
Kim sucks in a breath as he travels farther down. "My… turn," Kim gasps out.
"Of course," Tommy hands over the sponge. He begins to shiver as Kim mimics his movements.
"Like that huh," Kim travels farther than Tommy and washes his legs and feet soaking her hair.
Tommy bites his bottom lip. So she wants to be a little minx. Tommy takes the sponge from Kim and copies what she did before he turns her around and washes her back and butt. "How does that feel; Beautiful," Tommy asks in a throaty whisper.
"Like I can sing a high note," Kim bites her bottom lip.
"Good," Tommy hands Kim the sponge with a smile.
Kim imitates what Tommy did and puts the sponge on the rack. "I need to wash your hair."
"What never seen a man with a ponytail," Tommy teases.
"None as fine as yours," Kim grabs the shampoo and squirts some into her hand.
Tommy loves the feel of Kim's hands in his hair. "How about I lather up your hair and we rinse off together." Tommy puts some shampoo into his hands and washes Kim's hair.
"Sounds like a plan to me," Kim smiles as Tommy massages her hair and scalp. She rinses off the soap and shampoo with Tommy right behind her rinses off.
"Now that is over," Tommy presses Kim to him and kisses her with a fiery passion. He loved Kim's body being soaking and wet. Tommy explored Kim's body as if she were a rare artifact. He leans Kim's head back to where water rolls teasingly from her face to between her breasts and down her stomach.
Kim laughs as the water runs down her body. "Now this is my kind of shower."
Tommy pulls Kim's body back to him and kisses her. At that moment, he could not take it anymore and spins Kim around. He could feel Kim's butt pressing against him. Kim leans her head on his shoulder as he glazes the back of her neck. Tommy smiles as his hands knead Kim's breasts before he moves back to her behind.
Kim knew what was coming next and braced herself against the wall using her hands. She was anticipating him entering her and was biting her lip until he did. Finally, Tommy entered Kim and she let out a long satisfied moan.
"I like that sound," Tommy enters Kim with slow drawn out motions. Liking the impact he had on Kim, Tommy continued with his unhurried thrusts.
"Oh…Tommy…" Kim gasps as feels each deliberate stroke. Kim needed to touch Tommy, one hand finds his chest, and Kim caresses his chest and stomach.
Tommy notices Kim's breathing harder and begins pounding harder and faster. He uses one hand and grabs a fistful of Kim's hair.
Kim got the idea. "I am yours," Kim whispers.
Tommy smiles widely as he turns Kim around. He picks Kim up and presses her back against the wall. "You feel so good."
"I am glad you enjoy it," Kim speaks softly.
Tommy finds the rhythm the two of them just had. He can feel Kim contracting around him. "That's it Beautiful."
Kim can hear her moans echo around the bathroom as she screams with pleasure. She feels him throbbing and swelling before she feels his warmth enter her. Kim cannot stop quivering and her knees from trembling. "I feel so relaxed."
Tommy slows down and presses himself deep inside of Kim as he gives her an avid kiss. "Ready for round two," Tommy whispers into Kim's ear.
Kim can only nod as Tommy gives her a wicked smile.
An hour later, the water begins to freeze and the sated couple dresses.
"Now I think is a good time for that surprise," Tommy smiles as Kim slips on a sundress.
"Okay," Kim looks at Tommy with curiosity.
Tommy walks into the kitchen and pulls out a picnic basket out of the refrigerator. "I have the perfect place for us to picnic at." Tommy grabs a blanket off the couch.
"Ooh sounds exciting," Kim follows Tommy out the door.
A short distance later, Kim has a huge grin on her face.
"Tommy this place is picturesque," Kim helps Tommy spread out the blanket.
"I am glad you like it; I found it one day when I wanted a place to practice karate," Tommy begins laying the food and drinks on the blanket.
Kim smiles at him. "It is a peaceful and pretty spot."
