So I want to apologize for the late chapter. I hope you all enjoy!
Just a reminder that I do not own SVM or True Blood
As always, conversations in a language other than English will be distinguished in bold.
The people in the Church grew restless as what sounded like wind blew outside. But in moments it was clear that it wasn't the wind. "Steve Newlin. You pushed us too far." Stan said, clearly the one in charge of the dozens of Vampires now surrounding the humans in the Church. "You expect us to sit on our thumbs while you round up your men to come lynch us? We'll kill ya first. Same way we did your father."
Bloodthirsty idiots, the lot of them. Sookie half sighed and half groaned as the humans started gathering closer together in fear.
"Murderer!" Newlin yelled only to be silenced by Eric's hand still on his throat.
"Destroy them. All of them." Stan growled as fangs lengthened and the Vampires grabbed the cowering humans.
"Enough." Godric said, his voice echoing around them. The Vampires all froze, obeying their sheriff's command before any could start doing real damage. Meanwhile, Eric released the Reverend all together and stood. "You came for me I assume. Underling?" Godric prompted when Stan didn't respond. Sookie wondered where he had been all this time.
"Yes, sheriff."
"These people have not harmed me." Though things were still tense, with Godric's presence, the Vampires could be kept in line. "You see? We can coexist. Mr. Newlin I do not wish to create bloodshed when none is called for. Help me set an example. If we leave you in peace, will you do the same?" The Vampires knew Godric wouldn't order them to kill the humans and so let them go, retracting their fangs.
"I will not negotiate with subhumans." Steve announced as he moved to kneel in front of Eric, "kill me. Do it." He urged as he loosened his tie, bared his neck and closed his eyes. "Jesus will protect me." Eric looked down at the man, unimpressed with how he was attempting to martyr himself.
"I am actually older than your Jesus." Godric remarked, "I wish I could have known him. But I missed it." The taunt didn't go unnoticed by the people in the room as even Steve Newlin had to open his eyes in disbelief. In a blur, Godric appeared behind Steve and grabbed the taller man by the back of his suit, lifting him up with one hand. "Good people. Who of you is willing to die for this man's madness?" Godric asked as the humans looked to each other. "That's what I thought. Stand down everyone." He said when no one came forward. "People, go home. It's over now." The Vampires took a step back, allowing the congregation to file out of the Church.
"Come." The sheriff of Dallas ordered as he released Steve none too gently and walked towards the exit himself.
"Sir. After what these humans have done to you…" Stan began, standing in front of Godric.
"I said, come." With that, Stan moved to the side, letting Godric pass to lead the Vampires outside.
"Are you okay?" Sookie nodded, watching everyone leave. Eric's hands rested on her shoulders, bringing her attention to him. He cupped the nape of her neck, then met her eyes. "Why didn't you call for me sooner?" He touched the bruise on her cheek again, and Sookie couldn't identify the fleeting emotion that crossed his face.
"I was unconscious the first night, the sun would have been up." As if noticing that Steve was still in the room, Eric placed a hand on the middle of her back to guide her out of sight.
"I knew you were a whore of Satan." Newlin spat from the ground even as he flinched from Eric's low growl. "Betraying your own kind for them. God will smite you and save the human race."
Eric's fangs descended once again and Sookie turned, a pitying expression on her features. "Please don't compare yourself to me, Mr. Newlin. You'll find I'm much more divine than you will ever be." With that, Sookie chose to walk away first. She'd almost slipped and said she wasn't human but with Eric beside her, she couldn't make such a statement and expect him to forget about it.
While the other Vampires returned to Godric's house, Sookie realized she was desperately in need of a bath. Eric might claim she smelled better than any human but she knew that was only when she was actually clean and not ripe after a day and night of capture. She planned to return to the hotel but Godric convinced her that there were clothes she could change into at his nest. Not wanting to leave his side and sensing that Eric didn't as well, she agreed to borrow someone else's clothes. Everyone settled in and the Vampires and human companions each took turns welcoming Godric's back to the lair.
Under the hot spray of the water, she thought back to her vision of Mist. Sookie had promised her sister that she would stay away from the Vampires after Godric was saved. But every time she resigned herself to do just that and cut off all ties with Eric, she felt uneasy.
Her head fell, as she recalled that she admitted to her sister that she was in love with Eric. Sookie wanted more than anything to experience life as a human. To truly know what it meant to feel wholeheartedly. Sookie would no longer be the one to watch as they lived their lives but actually live it herself. Perhaps, what she longed for could be found with Eric…at least that was what her traitorous heart hoped. After all, he made her feel more from a single kiss than she had in her entire existence.
Sookie would only have to tell him of her true identity. Would he blame her as he did her parents, she wondered. If he blamed her for the death of his family, Sookie didn't know what options she would have but to return to Asgard. If she revealed her secret, it was possible her sisters would slaughter every Vampire to protect themselves. The only reason why they hadn't destroyed Godric was because they had no knowledge of him until after he saved her life with his blood. Begrudgingly, her sisters agreed that they would spare him.
Sookie turned the water off and began drying herself, her brows furrowed in thought. With a disbelieving sigh, she realized she was actually fearful of Eric's response. Nearly 1500 years old and she was afraid.
Quickly getting dressed in the white dress and matching coat, Sookie left the guest room and realized the Fellowship of the Sun was in possession of her belongings, which included her purse, wallet, makeup, and most importantly, her cellphone. She would have to apologize to Godric.
Avoiding bumping into anyone as she made her way to where Godric and Eric were, Sookie arrived just in time to see Isabel walk in with Hugo, leading him by the back of his shirt. While she was allowed the luxury of a shower and a change of clothes, Hugo was still haphazard after his ordeal with the Fellowship of the Sun.
"Here is the one who betrayed us." Isabel announced. Conversations grew quiet as everyone tried to get a view.
The female Vampire strutted to where Godric was sitting and kicked Hugo down to his knees. Sookie stood at an open doorway. Eric, who stood next to Godric wore a black wife beater with his hair slicked back, looking like an enforcer.
"Hugo…he's your human is he not?"
"Yes, he is."
"Do you love him?" Sookie's gaze unintentionally drifted to Eric whose attention was on Hugo and Isabel. Catching herself, she looked back at Isabel who stuttered, clearly not knowing how to answer Godric's question.
"I thought I did." The female Vampire's voice caught in her throat as she hung her head.
"It appears you love him still."
"I do." She admitted, on the verge of tears. "I'm sorry. But you are my sheriff. Do with him as you please." It took Godric less than a moment to decide.
"You're free to go." The audience started murmuring in hushed tones amongst themselves. Sookie herself was shocked with his verdict.
"What?" Stan was the most vocal as he stepped forward in outrage.
"The human is free to go." Godric declared. "And do not return." He ordered, looking at the stunned face of Hugo who seemed afraid a single wrong word would cause Godric to change his verdict. "I fear it is not safe for you here."
"This is a travesty."
"This is my verdict." Godric said to Stan. "Eric, escort them out. Make sure he leaves unharmed."
Eric stepped forward. "Yes, Godric." Dutifully collecting Hugo, Eric picked the man up by the arm and pushed him past the wall of onlookers.
"Thank you, thank you sheriff." Isabel said, nearly falling to her own knees in gratitude. Godric simply nodded. The others returned to their conversations, leaving the room to go to less crowded places in the spacious house. Sookie stepped forward, past those who were leaving and leaned down next to Godric.
"I'm glad you're well." She remarked as he smiled softly.
"I'm sorry you were injured. I didn't think you'd attempt a plan so foolish." Sookie wasn't sure if he was goading her or genuinely apologizing.
Gesturing to the quarter sized bruise that was still on her cheek, she shrugged. "I've had worse, as you very well remember." He nodded, oddly quiet. "You don't have to tell me why you were with them. Just try not to worry me again. You might give me a heart attack." She tried joking but he didn't laugh.
Growing uncomfortable with her position, Sookie rested on his armrest then looked around the room to see only a few Vampires who weren't particularly paying attention to them.
"Is something wrong?" She switched to Old Norse, not wanting others to eavesdrop.
"I feel as you do, tired, regretful. Seeking an end."
"Regrets seem to multiply with age don't they?" He nodded. "But if what you just did is any indication, you could lead them. Make them learn from you." She said gesturing to the other Vampires before placing a hand on Godric's shoulder. "I believe you are the only one who can."
"You'll take care of him, won't you?" He said, switching back to English. Sookie tilted her head in confusion. She was about to ask him why it sounded as though he were entrusting Eric to her when the Vampire in question arrived. With a slight move of his head, he motioned for the remaining Vampires to leave the room.
Sookie stood then smiled slightly. "I'm…gonna get something to eat." She made it to the door but looked back to see Eric go down to one knee in front of Godric. She would have to talk to her friend later, she surmised, away from the others and especially away from Eric. Sookie would have to ask him how Eric would react to find out she was a Valkyrie turned mortal. With any luck, Godric would help ease some of the disquiet she felt.
Eric had just come back from making sure Hugo got into a car heading for Mexico when he saw Sookie sidled next to his maker. A few inches and she would have been in the older Vampire's lap. Again, something akin to jealousy churned within him. Their positions seemed so natural, their proximity was disconcerting. With a single nod of his head, the others in the room left. Sookie stood once she noticed him come in. He sensed she was worried but he couldn't figure out what she would be worried about. He also saw the discoloration on her cheek and a sense of guilt reminded him he failed to protect her. Though he left the hotel as soon as he felt her call out to him, Eric hadn't been fast enough to keep her from getting hurt. He wanted to offer his blood to heal her but knew she wouldn't even consider it an option.
Even with Godric's assurance that they were only ever friends, Eric knew there was more to their "friendship" than either let on. Godric had grown softer to humans in his advanced age and even saw them as something close to equals but his relationship with Sookie was baffling. Whenever Eric was close, she tensed as if to flee or to prepare for a fight. The only other time Eric had seen her so relaxed was when he found her asleep on a chair in their hotel room the first night they arrived in Dallas. He had carried her to the bed and had to fight every urge he had to wake her.
"I'm…gonna get something to eat." She announced as she left the room as well.
Eric took a knee in front of Godric. "Hugo's been dispatched. I told him not to stop driving until he reaches the Mexican border. I've arranged for an AB- human for you, extremely rare."
"Thank you. But I'm not hungry." Godric said, dismissively.
"You have to feed eventually. I doubt the fellowship had anything to offer." Eric chuckled slightly but his maker seemed tired and distant. "Why wouldn't you leave when I first came for you?" He asked, concern evident on his features.
"They didn't treat me badly. You'd be shocked at how ordinary most of them are."
"They do nothing but fan the flames of hatred for us." Eric insisted, not understanding how Godric could defend his captors. They wanted to burn Godric and even planned a church function around the event.
"Let's be honest, we are frightening." Godric commented. "After thousands of years, we haven't evolved. We've only grown more brutal, more predatory. I don't see the danger in treating humans as equals. The fellowship of the Sun arose because we never did so."
"Is that why you wouldn't fight when they took you?"
"I could have killed every last one of them within minutes." Eric doubted it would have even taken Godric minutes to kill a few dozen humans. "And what would that have proven?" the rhetorical question left Eric realizing just how different his maker had become after releasing him. "You gave her your blood." Not a question, but a statement.
Still, Eric answered. "Yes. I had to. The others believe she is mine." Eric didn't have to explain why it had been necessary. Godric simply nodded his understanding.
"You put her in danger." Again, a statement.
"You were in danger." Eric said, as if it was the only explanation he needed.
Godric leveled Eric with a measuring gaze. "Never do it again."
He paused, as the earlier jealousy bubbled. "Yes, Godric."
"Excuse me everyone! If I could have your attention please." A voice drew everyone's gaze and people stopped talking. Sookie stood from her seat on the couch recognizing the man from the Church but she didn't know his name or what he intended to say. Sookie suspected he purposely kept his thoughts blank but she did sense that he was nervous, understandable as he was in the middle of a Vampire nest. "My name is Luke McDonald, and I have a message for you all from Reverend Steve Newlin." He unzipped the front of his jacket.
Before Sookie could even react to the sight of a man with bombs attached to his chest, it detonated.
Stunned and with her ears ringing, Sookie groaned. Dust and debris filled the air and it took long moments before she could hear anything let alone have a coherent thought or get her bearings. The first thing she heard was yelling but she couldn't make out what was said. She coughed then realized she couldn't move as something was pressing down on her. Turning her head, Sookie noticed a figure who was face up draped over her.
"I can't breathe, you weigh a ton." She said with effort as she pushed the Vampire off of her. She got up gingerly to her hands and knees then turned to who had undoubtedly saved her life by taking the brunt of the blast. "Eric?" She leaned over him, seeing that he was openly bleeding from a few wounds caused by shrapnel in his chest and arms. He appeared a bit dazed but most alarmingly, he wasn't healing.
"Had to shield you." He said simply.
"Why aren't you healing?" She asked, checking his wounds for any major damage that she could see.
"Sil..ver." Sookie looked at him incredulously. The silver should be pushing themselves out. "Blood." That explanation made more sense. He had been silvered earlier in the night and if he hadn't had any blood to drink recently he would be in a weakened state. She looked around for Godric but couldn't see her friend anywhere. The blonde, who was disheveled but otherwise fine quickly considered her options.
She moved to cradle his head to her arm but Eric wasn't able to drop his fangs. With a grunt, Sookie stretched to reach for a piece of jagged metal. Clenching her teeth, Sookie cut her wrist and held it to Eric's lips. There was a brief pause before he began drinking, lapping at her only open wound. The feeling was odd but not foreign as she'd given him her blood once before though she had been a Valkyrie at that time and Eric had been unconscious.
His chest rumbled in what could only be a growl before his limp hands came up to hold her arm to his lips more firmly and he began to take from her in earnest. Sookie whimpered, growing light headed.
"Eric...you're taking too much." She said as she attempted to wretch her arm back from his grasp. He stopped but didn't let go of her as his eyes focused on her face. His usual charm was nowhere to be seen as blood dripped from his chin and a red smear was painted across his lips. He then sat up and gripped the back of her neck with his other hand. Eric's fangs descended and Sookie felt a chill run down her spine. She wasn't sure if the response was from the blood loss or the predatory gaze he leveled on her.
"More." With another growl, Eric bared his fangs as he pulled her to him, intending to bite her neck. A startled yell caught in her throat. He froze, inches from piercing her skin.
"Eric?" She whispered, concerned by the lack of control he was showing.
He drew in a deep breath, his nose pressed against the curve of her neck. "What are you?" He asked, seemingly still disoriented. Subtly, he flexed his muscles then relaxed before releasing her. Sookie felt safe enough to cover her wound with her hand to stem some of the blood loss. Eric noticed and bit into the palm of his hand. He presented it to her but Sookie shook her head.
"I'm fine." Stiffly, she rose and almost teetered, her hand still putting pressure on her wrist. In the next instant, Eric was standing in front of her and tore off a piece of fabric from her jacket before she could voice a protest or demand an explanation. With more care than she thought him capable, Eric dressed her wound allowing her the use of at least one of her hands.
She looked at his hands as he worked, gently but firmly securing the scrap of fabric around her wrist. When he was done, she took the opportunity to survey the damage that had been done. Small fires had broken out around the house and there were numerous bodies and many more injured from what she could see. Part of a wall had been blown away and the smell of ash was prevalent. The house was beyond repair.
"Everyone, please!" Isabel yelled to get their attention.
"They may come back." Godric warned, appearing next to Isabel. "Go to the hotel Carmilla. They've been alerted, security is in place." Humans and Vampires limped out and Sookie was unsure how many had perished in the attack. She could hear sirens blaring in the distance and knew Godric would want to be the one to report what happened so she made her way outside with everyone else. The sirens stopped as firefighters, EMTs, and police officers arrived, leaving only their blinking lights on. Eric, who had walked with her outside, caught her a cab then helped her into the back seat.
Leaning against the open door, the Viking appeared more like himself. "Get cleaned up, I'll return with Godric." Sookie nodded numbly, the events of the night sinking in as her mind started to work on the consequences for what had just transpired. Not just for Godric but for Eric and the other Vampires as well. The violence could very well grow and now that humans and Vampires now knew about her and her abilities. It would only be a matter of time before they sought her. The safest thing for her sisters and for herself was for her to leave.
"Hey." Eric said softly, drawing her attention. He took a step forward but didn't touch her. "I'll protect you." She wondered if he felt something through their bond and nodded again. She didn't want to leave him but if the conflict between the humans and the Vampires escalated, she didn't know what other choices she had. It was one thing to place herself in danger but her existence was drawing attention to the possibility that there could be other beings out there. If she didn't leave, there was also the possibility that her sisters would force her back to Asgard to protect the collective.
Eric used his glamour on the cab driver and instructed the man to take her straight to the Hotel Carmilla and not to pick up any other passengers on the way. She didn't think the Fellowship of the Sun would try anything else for the night but was glad he was being thorough.
It was only after she returned to the hotel room she shared with Eric that she thought of his reaction to her blood. If she was truly just a mortal, he shouldn't have reacted so strongly. Sookie recalled Godric remarking that a Valkyrie's blood was richer somehow, and that it tasted unlike anything he'd ever tasted. Surely Eric was just consumed with blood lust due to being near death and not because there was anything different about her blood.
Shedding the ruined clothing, Sookie gingerly entered the tub and admonished herself for being stubborn and refusing Eric's blood. She had unconsciously overestimated her ability to heal. Her muscles protested and she had to be careful not to get her wound wet but she somehow managed to clean herself.
When she looked at herself in the mirror, her pale complexion from blood loss and fatigue made the bruise on her cheek appear worse than before. Exchanging the white towel for a bathrobe, Sookie exited the bathroom.
She hadn't realized she'd even fallen asleep until the firm pressure of another person's lips woke her. Sookie opened her eyes in surprise then wrapped her arms around Eric's neck, drawing him closer until he wasn't simply leaning over the bed but shifted until he was caging her in with his arms.
Dazed, she absently tasted blood as Eric deepened the kiss and pressed his body even closer to hers, holding himself up with one hand to avoid crushing her. His other hand slipped between the edges of her robe, parting it.
Eric returned to the hotel just a few hours before dawn. In the car ride with Godric, his maker knew that he drank from Sookie. Eric asked again what she was but again, Godric refused to answer. Sookie's blood made him feel more powerful. He felt at least a few hundred years stronger than he should have. Her blood was like ambrosia laced with steroids. If other Vampires ever found out, she would never know peace again and judging by her reaction to him earlier, she didn't know the effect her blood had on Vampires.
Every instinct he had demanded that he bite her, taste her again. Eric barely refrained from draining her completely and was only able to regain some self-control through the bond he shared with her. If he just got her to confide in him, he believed she would stop holding herself back and he would be able to keep her safe.
When he entered the hotel room, Eric saw her sleeping figure and was disappointed she had made it to the bed this time. He took a shower, washing away the aftermath of the bombing. Turning off the bathroom light, Eric dried himself and put on some clothes before striding to where Sookie was slumbering. The first thing he noticed was that her hair was fanned out around her, still wet and appearing darker than it normally was. It provided a drastic contrast to her complexion which was unusually pale except for the bruise still on her cheek. The thick hotel blanket was up to the base of her neck and Eric couldn't help but zero in on her pulse which was steady along with her breathing. With a drop of his fangs, Eric leaned over the bed and deliberately cut his bottom lip and tongue.
It wouldn't take much of his blood to heal her and he'd only intended on using the kiss as a way of tricking her into drinking but her response consumed him. When she pulled him in, the bed dipped from Eric's weight as he braced himself on his arms. Her arms around his neck, the blanket separating them slid lower down her body, to her waist. The movement revealed that Sookie was only in a bathrobe which was slightly parted. He nearly groaned and was unable to stop himself from parting the cloth further with one hand. Sookie then arched her back, coaxing Eric to palm her breast and he knew she had to be mistaking this for a dream.
Reluctantly, he pulled back, allowing her to catch her breath. Eric watched as the sleepy daze disappeared from her eyes as Sookie fully woke up. But he was more interested in the mark on her face that healed as well as the return of her natural blush.
"You-" She started to accuse but stopped when she stared at his lips then wiped a few drops of his blood from the corner of her lips.
Her other hand began pushing at his chest, trying to create distance between them. Eric allowed her an inch but was still close enough that he had to hold his weight with one hand. His other hand held the wrist he fed from and inspected it. Satisfied that the wound had healed, he released her.
"You and Godric might refuse to tell me what you are but your scent is like a beacon to all Vampires. Don't go around with an open wound." He warned her before easing up completely and standing next to her. Sookie held her robe closed and sat up, obviously still a little irritated. Sookie huffed then brushed past him, grabbing some clothes, she marched to the bathroom and shut the door after her. He wore a bemused expression on his face as he was sure she didn't know the robe swayed around the tops of her thighs, giving him a very welcome view.
"Do you have any fucking idea of the PR mess you've made? And who has to fucking clean that shit up?" Nan Flannigan asked rhetorically. Everyone sat in a circle as the Vampire spokesperson ranted. Sookie was surprised someone had made it to Dallas just a day after the attack on Godric's lair. "Me. Not you, me. I should drain every one of you bastards."
"Stan went after the Church on his own. None of us knew anything about it." Eric tried to pin the blame on the one Vampire unable to defend himself as he was one of the few who perished in the attack on the lair.
"Oh really? Because everyone who met Stan over the last 300 years knew that he had a kink about slaughtering humans. But you, his nest mates, his sheriff, had no clue?"
"And how are we supposed to know that this time he meant it?" Isabel asked, clearly feeling that the blame was undue.
"Not my problem." Nan looked at Godric pointedly. "Yours."
"Don't talk to him that way." Eric warned.
"Don't talk to me that way." Nan bit back. "Let's get to the point, how'd they manage to abduct you?" She inquired, wanting to get things over with.
"They would have taken one of us sooner or later…I offered myself." Godric said, to the surprise of most in the room.
"Why?" Nan asked incredulously.
"Why not?"
"They wanted you to meet the sun and you were willing?" Nan clarified. Eric's reaction didn't go unnoticed by Sookie. He obviously knew what Godric had intended to do when he was kidnapped.
"Why do you think?"
"I think you're out of your mind." Nan said, clearly not understanding why anyone would offer to meet the sun. "And then I hear about a traitor?"
"Irrelevant. Only a rumor. I'll take full responsibility." Godric said, protecting Hugo and Isabel.
"You bet you will."
"You cold bitch." Eric's voice grew harsher.
"Listen, this is a national Vampire disaster and nobody at the top has any sympathy for any of you. Sheriff, you fucked up. You're fired." She said bluntly.
"I agree." Godric nodded. "Of course, Isabel should take over, she had no part in my disgrace." His subordinate placed a hand on Godric's arm, trying to stop him.
"Godric, fight back." Isabel demanded.
"What are you saying? She's a bureaucrat! You don't have to take shit from her." Eric's voice grew more agitated.
"You wanna lose your area, Viking?"
"Oh, you don't have that kind of power."
"Hey, I'm on TV. Try me."
"I'm to blame." Isabel insisted, stopping the two before things escalated. "I should have contained Stan the second Godric went missing."
"Isabel." Godric turned to her and stopped her from voicing any more arguments. "I remove myself from all positions of authority."
"Works for me." Nan said, happy to end things without much fuss.
"Ms. Flannigan, you expect Godric to have control over his subordinates even while captured? Stan is the only one at fault for going after the Church and you can't blame Godric for a suicide bomber." Sookie tried to defend Godric as well.
"He shouldn't have gotten kidnapped in the first place."
"Wait, listen. If Godric met the sun, Stan would have gone after the Fellowship of the Sun and killed every last member in their congregation. Including the children. Stan was about to do it that night but Godric retook control of the situation. Everything that happened after that was out of Godric's control."
"He showed piss poor judgment." Nan insisted. Eric, who grew more and more annoyed, stood with a grunt. In the next second, Isabel was also standing, holding the older Vampire back.
"Eric." Godric warned. "Doesn't matter." Eric and Nan stared at each other, both wanting the other to make a move. After a tense moment, both Eric and Isabel sat down in their original seats.
"What a fucking fiasco. You're lucky I don't send you all to the Magister." Nan sighed. "Godric, come to my suite and fill out the forms."
"Soon. First, I have something to say." "I'm sorry. I apologize for all the harm I've caused, for all our lost ones, human and Vampire. I will make amends, I swear." Sookie looked to Godric, hoping to meet his gaze and ask him what he was talking about but her friend refused to turn to her.
"Take it easy, it's just a few signatures." Nan dismissed, patting Godric on the shoulder before walking out with her assistants trailing behind her.
Once they left, Eric stood in front of Godric. "No."
"Look in my eye."
"You have to listen to me."
"There's nothing to say."
"There is." Eric said more forcefully.
"On the roof." Godric stepped around Eric, leaving the room. Sookie watched the exchange, feeling uneasy. When Eric turned back to her looking lost, Sookie walked forward and placed a hand on his arm.
"I'll go with you." She said softly, fearing what Godric had planned.
A/N: I wanted to ask if you want Godric to live. I've planned on having him meet the sun like he did in the show but I love writing him and I have been thinking about the ending for the fic. He could definitely fit in so I wanted to ask whether you want him to stay or go.
Let me know what you think about the chapter, as always reviews are greatly appreciated. Especially for this chapter because a lot happened and because Eric totally tricked Sookie into drinking his blood for a different reason but still.
