"What do you think that is?" Naoki laughed, pointing to the obviously run down building, the sign outside faded and the door almost completely destroyed.

"A drugies paradise?" supplied Bunnymund

Chapter seven: Group Chat and Stalkers

Shadow, Fear, and Snow sat in a circle in the clearing, two of the three doodling in the snow while the third almost had a scowl, almost, but the gentle turn of dark lips gave way to his content.

It was not a common sight. And to any passerby nothing would be there at all. So, really, it was a sight only Sandy was privy to, not that any of the three noticed.

"So," Jack began, flipping his staff about with one hand and crafting snow creatures with the other, "want to play a game?"

"What type?"

"No."

"Ah, come on Pitch!" Jack whined, "you hafta do something!"

"I don't recall ever asking for your company, Jack; you may leave whenever you wish."

Kuroko smiled, eyes lit with hidden humor as he watched the exchange, pale fingers turning red and pants becoming wet, but he didn't appear to mind, or even notice, for that matter. And Sandy was once again left wondering how truly human the child actually was.

"Why not simply enjoy each other's company?" the Shadow supplied.

"Bo~ring."

"No."

Small pale lips twitched in amusement, considering it ironic that the two so denied such an action, yet were currently doing it. "Pitch," the child began, tilting his head to the side, "is no all you can say?"

"No." the Nightmare King protested stiffly, blatantly ignoring Jack's laughter. "It's simply that all the ideas you two cook up are—" annoying, troublesome "—things that do not interest me."

"The~n," Jack singsonged, the wind twirling and singing along, "why don't you come up with an idea?"

"I do not see why I have to participate in your shenanigans!"

"You aren't leaving." The Shadow pointed out.

"Just admit it," Jack laughed, "you love us!"

"Absolutely not!"

"Uhuh."

"No."

"Yep."

"No means no!"

"Unless it means yes."

"That makes no sense!"

"Neither does this argument between people who don't want to spend time together and can leave at any time." Interjected the (questionable) human.

To say the interaction surprised him would be an understatement, Sandy was floored. No animosity, no, not even from Pitch, existed within the little circle they'd made. No grudge was held, though Pitch was obviously stubbornly declaring otherwise, albeit unconvincingly. And no awkwardness existed, though many would declare otherwise. Even their supposed bored silence seemed content. Why? How? His mind screamed, at once able to accept what lay before him yet unwilling.

He wanted to run.

Not because the scene was wrong, no, it was anything but that.

And that was the issue.

For if the scene was not wrong then did that not mean that for all these years, for all these hundreds of thousands of years, they, the Guardians had been wrong? Perhaps if they had tried a little more, if they had reached out instead of scolded, perhaps the wars between them and Pitch would have never occurred, and, maybe, Jack wouldn't have had to suffer alone for so, so very long.

"That's to many maybes." A soft voice, laced with frightful power murmured behind him, causing the Sand Man to jump, eyes widening as they took in the form before him. A teen with obsidian hair and eyes, and cruelty hidden behind every move. A demon. No, the teen was more than that he was...

"Damn," the teen mumbled, "I go for a little trip and I wind up running into the freakin Sheppard kid again, and more weirdos, great, just great. Well," he sighed, clawed hands gliding threw his hair, "at least that blasted Bunny ain't here..."

Who are you?

A grin, bearing fangs, slide across the teens face, "Names Naoki, you floating piece of dirt, and something tells me where going to be the best of friends."

The laugh, soft yet purely demonic, sent chills down Sandy's spine.

The best of friends indeed.

A/N: *another of my stories

Anyhow, for those of you wondering, you do not have to read any of the stories I drag into this little fic, it'll just be useful, is all. But, yeah, I'm going to be adding in allot of characters from other fics, but, don't worry, it's only if they are connected somehow, in other words, any of my stories with Kuroko or Jack appearing in them are game...I just realized that even means "Snowy Hearts"...heh, this is going to get interesting.

As for a pairing, I'm thinking of keeping relationships out of it till the end...and that'll be small. Anyhow, if you lot think I'm getting a little to crazy with my mixing and matching, then please tell me to stop, otherwise I'll keep going (though using my own rules there aren't many more stories I can mix).
