Hiya!! Welcome to chapter 7!!! I really haven't planned this chapter, just warning you... Anyway, be sure to review! Let's have a great time!

Chapter 7:

Daisy's biggest secret

As Luigi and Daisy were on their way to the restaurant, Luigi was still internally freaking out about everything that could possibly happen over lunch, and it didn't help that she was starting at him as they were walking. Little did he know, Daisy was freaking out too.

'His eyes...' She thought. 'Pull yourself together Daisy! You can't like this guy! It just won't work! He'll try to take charge and control your life, don't do this to yourself! You know better...' She didn't realize that she was staring at Luigi.

"Oh, sorry!" She said awkwardly, realizing that she was staring. "I kinda zoned off for a second."

"More like an hour..." Luigi joked. Daisy just punched him lightly in the arm in response. Luigi was starting to get a little more comfortable around her, but he was sure he was still blushing.

"Where's this restaurant? I'm starved!" She asked. Luigi was confused as to how a princess could talk like that, she definitely acted alot more confident than Peach, and he really admired her for that.

"It's just around the corner." Luigi answered. He could tell that his cheeks were still a light shade of pink. He probably looked like an idiot.

They turned the corner to see a small, quiet and quaint diner that could've easily been mistaken for a coffee shop. "Is this it?" She asked, excited to eat.

Luigi realized that this little place wasn't all that fancy or expensive, it didn't have any gourmet food and it certainly wouldn't live up to a princess's standards.

"Uh.. Yeah... It is, but I don't think you'd like it here, so we should go somewhere else..." Luigi went on, stuttering as his face went bright red.

"I'm sure it'll be great." She replied as she practically dragged Luigi into the place. They went on and sat down at a little table. The restaurant was basically empty, it was just them and three other people in there. There wasn't any music playing either, so it was very quiet... but in a good way. The restaurant had a very simple, peaceful aesthetic. The table that Luigi and Daisy sat at was toward the back of the restaurant, near a window, with a picture perfect view of the mountains. The sun was high in the sky and the reflections in the snow let in the perfect amount of light. Daisy just stared out the window, mesmerized by the view.

"Daisy?! Is that you?!" She heard a familiar voice say from behind her.

"Oh my gosh! Sandra!" Daisy shrieked, throwing her arms around her old friend.

"Why are you here? You should be back home! Ashley called to tell me you were missing!" She panicked.

"I'm... not really sure why I'm here... But... I did need help getting back. You mind helping me?" She asked.

"Yes of course I'll help!" She answered. "My number will be on your receipt."

"Thanks a ton!" Daisy said, relieved. Luigi just kind of sat there awkwardly.

"Anyway, hello, I'm Sandra and I'll be your waitress today." She said, trying to actually do her job. "I'm guessing the regular for you Luigi, what would you like daze?"

"Dunno. Just surprise me I guess."

"Okay, I'll be back in a bit with your meals." Sandra walked off.

"You knew her?" Luigi asked.

"Yup, she was an old friend of mine back at home, she'd recently moved here to be around her family. I was never really that close to her, but it was nice to see her again." She answered.

"I bet everyone in Sarasaland is really worried about you." Luigi said.

"Yeah, worst part is, there's probably not anyone helping rule, cause I know that none of my sisters will step up and do it." Daisy said.

"You have sisters?" Luigi asked, surprised. "I bet you were the favorite growing up, that must be awesome."

"Actually, I was always the least favourite, and I have 3 idiot sisters, so that's saying alot." She Said. "Actually, I only have 2 idiot sisters, my youngest is basically a daughter to me, she's not that bad."

"Wow, that must suck." He said. "But if you were the least favourite, why did your parents choose you to be princess?"

"My mom's really superstitious, and apparently according to tradition, the middle child's supposed to be chosen." She admitted.

"I can relate." Luigi said."Not to the princess part...but the part about being the least favourite... Mario always got the most attention and still did as we grew up, and he still gets the most attention. He's a hero known all over the mushroom Kingdom and half the time, people forget my name." Luigi was clearly upset.

"I'm sure lots of people know you, and really appreciate what you do for this place." She said "I know I do."

Luigi blushed more than he'd ever blushed before ever. "Awe, thanks, I'm glad you feel that way." He Said. "And your sisters... What are they like?"

"My two oldest sisters are basically exact copies of my mom, that's probably why she loves them so much, because they're 'perfect'. They have perfect, long strawberry blonde hair and perfect deep blue eyes." Daisy sighed. "And I'm over here with my orangish reddish brownish hair, like what color even is it? And don't even mention my eyes, jeez. I'm sorry for starting this giant rant." She was surprised by what had just came out of her mouth. She'd never really talked to anyone about this. Well, except for maybe one person.

"Princess, you're beautiful. Your hair is a perfect blend of three colors that go great together, and your eyes are a perfect shade of blue, like the ocean. You're basically perfect!"

"My eyes... Aren't actually blue... I actually have hederochromia iridis."

She took off two bright blue contacts and gently layed them down on a napkin. She then opened her eyes to reveal one bright, grass green eye and one hollow, brown one. The glint of light in her eyes was brighter than ever. "I always keep them in, mostly to somewhat fit in with my sisters. you, and my best friend at home, Mark are the only people that know about them."

"Wow." was all Luigi could say. "I already thought your eyes were remarkable, but now... They're even more beautiful than I could've ever imagined."

"pfffttt!" Daisy said in disbelief.

"No really, your eyes are amazing just the way they are, I really don't even think you need these." He picked up the napkin and the contacts, and threw them in the garbage.

"Luigi I... I needed those to see..." Daisy couldn't see his facial expression, but she could imagine that his face was saying "FML".

"I'm really sorry Princess, I didn't know, honest." Luigi apologized. "Is it really bad?" He asked.

"What?"

"Your vision. Is it bad?"

"Well, yeah, I'm basically blind, but one of my eyes can see better than the other..." She covered one eye with her hand, then the other. "This one." She pointed up at her green eye. "I still can't even see anything past you, and I can't see your facial expressions."

"Woah, you are blind." Luigi said, kind of amazed. Daisy just rolled her eyes at him.

"I think I had another pair with me when I came here so they should be at the castle. I'll need your help navigating though. My vision is much worse than I thought."

"okay, I'll be happy to help." He said blushing.

"Luigi, even I can see your blushing." She said, mockingly. This comment just made Luigi blush even more.

When it was time to leave, Daisy grabbed Luigi's hand unexpectedly. Luigi's face turned a new shade of red and his hands turned sweaty. She just giggled when she noticed how uncomfortable he was. And kept holding his hand.

Daisy really did have a crush on Luigi, as much as she want to admit it to herself, it was true. But that didn't mean she wasn't gonna play hard to get as long as she could. If Luigi really loved her as much as she loved him, he'd keep trying. After all, everything happens for a reason and maybe she could eventually have a better life... With Luigi...

I can't believe I've written 7 chapters In a month! This story's gonna be a long one... And don't worry guys, Sandra won't be a recurring character. Mark, (who a briefly mentioned as Daisy's best friend ) will be though, and he'll have a whole chapter to himself. (Not the next one though, I was just saying) Anyway, hope u enjoyed :))

Luv ya!

Buh-bye! :3
