Hey guys sorry about not updating, I got lazy. Any how, here's chapter seven!

Two months later

It was a warm, sunny evening in late July and Hiccup had a special date planed for his girlfriend later that week. But first he had to pay a special visit to Jackson's office.

He walked up to Jacks apartment and tied Chief to a poll on the outside.

"I'll be back soon buddy, I just have a very important question for Astrid's old man." He said and walked into the bank, then to Jackson's office. He took a deep breath and knocked on the door.

"Come in." He heard Jackson yell from the inside, he opened the door and stepped inside.

"H-hey Jack." he stuttered.

"Hello Henry, how are you." Jackson said, smiled up at Hiccup.

"G-good."

"Are you ok Hiccup, your stuttering more then usual."

"I-I'm, just f-fine."

"Oh really?"

"Yep."

"Did you have something to ask me about?" Jackson smiled and looked over at Hiccup who nodded nervously. "Go ahead, what's your question?"

"Well, um." He mumbled.

"Common Henry, what are you so nervous about? Just spit it out pal!"

"Ok," he said and took a deep breath "Jackson, may I, uh, have or how ever it goes, your adopted daughter's hand, in marage?"

Jack suddenly smiled and pulled Hiccup into a tight hug. "Yes, Henry Haddock, you may marry my daughter."

Hiccup soon left the bank and headed home, where he walked deep into the forest to celebrate the fact that, Astrid father had given him permission to propose.

Later that week

"So, Hiccup, what do you have planed?" Astrid said while they walked hand in hand down the sidewalk.

"Well, I thought maybe, we could go out for dinner, then walk along the side of the river at sunset."

"The river!?"

"Well there are no pretty beaches round here so the rivers the next best thing right!?" Hiccup giggled.

"I guess your right, common! Lets go!"

They walked to the restaurant and eat supper and began towards the river, when Hiccup tripped over his own feet and fell flat on his face. Astrid leaned down to help her boyfriend when something shiny fell from his pocket and caught her eye. She quietly picked it up and didn't say a word.

"Are you ok?" She said while checking his messed up legs for cuts or scraps, then found a small cut on his left knee. "Does that hurt?"

"A little."

"We should probably wash it out and-"

"Ok mom can we go!" Hiccup interupted, Astrid stood up, and punched his shoulder. "Why!?"

She just glared at him and grabbed his hand. They started walking again to the river, and it was not long before they reached it. The couple skipped like idiots down the path, many people turned and stared at them. But all to soon, the path ended.

Astrid looked up at Hiccup who wore a big goofy grin on his face, and hand had started shaking. "What Hiccup, what did you do now?"

"Actually no, it's what I'm about to do" he mumbled.

"What? Hiccup your mumbling again."

"Oh nothing just, um lets go over here." He stepped of the trail and pulled Astrid along with him. "Ok, here we go. Astrid, I'm not good at speeches so don't judge me. Uh, Astrid, I met you, um, about 11 years ago, and uh, you..."

"Hiccup, breath, and if you want you don't need to finish your little speech."

"Ok then I won't" he signed then got down on one knee "Astrid will you-" then he realized his pocket was empty "The ring! I just had it!" he began searching though his jacket until he felt his girlfriend tap on his shoulder. Hiccup looked up at Astrid who was holding out her hand. And right on her palm was the ring.

"You dropped it when you fell."

"And you didn't say anything!? Never mind" Hiccup growled and snatched the ring from her hand. "Astrid, will you marry me?"

"Yes." Astrid yelled and lunged at Hiccup who wrapped his arms around her and kissed her on the lips. "I love you." She whispered.

"I love you too."

Astrid skipped up to her door step and was greeted by only Rusty, but heard Stormfly's tail wagging and bumping against the floor.

"Hey Storm, how are you feeling?" She picked up her old dog and took her outside to do her business. And when she took her back inside, she tried to feed her. "Common buddy, you've got to eat."

Stormfly continued to avoid the bacon in her masters hand until Astrid gave up and through the treat at Rusty.

"Stormfly, you'll never guess what happened today." Stormfly tilted her head to the side "I got engaged!" Astrid giggled and Stormfly barked happily.

Soon Astrid headed off to bed, but, because today was so special, she carried Stormfly with her and they snuggled up together and both slipped into a deep, peaceful, sleep.
