Ok we get to the first side mission of the game.

I do NOT own insomniac games or marvel, im just a guy that really loves characters watching alternate reality fics.

Cops drag the shocker away as Spider Man is perched on top of a police truck talking to Yuri.

"Good work, Spider-Man. Did you learn anything about his motive?"

"I tried. But he's not very talkative. Plus, I think he hates me."

"Story of my life." Said Peter.

"You have that effect on a lot of people."

"But you love me, right Yuri?"

"I tolerate you."

"Wow. That might be the nicest thing you ever said to me."

"Sad thing is that's probably true." Said Peter, again.

Spider Man drops in a crouch on top of something in an alley. He swings off.

"Looks like I got some free time. Maybe now's a good time to look into that mask. Oh, it's MJ. Hey MJ. You're up late."

"Just catching up on the news—looks like you had quite an adventure with Shocker tonight."

"Yeah, he was unusually combative. Anyway, thanks again for dinner, what do I owe you?"

"How about a favor? You still have that mask from the gallery?"

"Yeah. I'm actually on my way to the F.E.A.S.T. center now to ask Martin Li about it."

"Martin Li? Why?"

"He has a degree in Art History. If anyone knows about the origins of that mask, he will."

"Just keep me in the loop. Like I said, I think there's a bigger story here. And I plan to be the one to break it."

"Uh, sure. So I can call you, like whenever?"

"Yeah. Whenever, whatever."

"So I guess we're talking again. Cool."

"I know I should head for that mission but I just really want to get that side mission out of the way first." Said Peter, ever the completionist. (who else 100% all the districts and every research tower and side mission and everything there is to do in the core story?)

He swings around, activating the towers he comes across and collecting bags, he was up to 10 bags. Just 45 left till hee could unlock that one suit he was dying to get.

"You might've heard about the robbery at Rosemann's auction house."

"Oh son of a BITCH!" screamed Tony, his resentment could be felt across the team.

"what you probably didn't hear, but my sources confirm, is that the perpetrators were wearing masks. Horrible, demonic faces. Yet another example of the explosion in masked criminals since Spider-Man came on the scene. Let's hear your thoughts. You're on with J. Jonah Jameson."

"Yeah, I see you're point, but Spider-Man stopped those guys today. Saying he's like them because he wears a mask isn't fair. It's, like, prejudiced."

"WRONG! (immediately thought of the lex luthor scream from super man returns) Here's a little lesson in the English language, my friend: "Prejudice" means to pre-judge someone before you know anything about them. Like you're doing now. I know all I need to about Spider-Man! He runs around causing chaos, wearing a mask so he doesn't have to answer for his shenanigans, and a flashy costume so he gets attention to feed his gigantic, insatiable ego! No that's Tony. Hey! Now, if I'm a mentally unstable person and I see him getting all this coverage, what am I going to do? It's called copycat behavior, people! And it's ruining New York!"

"Are you sure I can't kill him?" asked Natasha.

Spidey talks to a woman.

"Are you okay, Ma'am?"

"Carmen. And I'm fine…it's my husband, Rodrigo. He's been acting weird, and I just found out he's meeting this woman…"

"Whoa, listen. I'm not the best person to help with relationship problems –"

"Clearly, you're homecoming dates dad is the vulture, I honestly think that you would have a better chance at winning the lottery than for that to happen." Said Clint. No one could fault him there.

"It's not like that. I think she's involved with bad people…Rodrigo might be in real trouble. He's scared, but he won't tell me anything."

"I can check it out. Any idea when he's meeting her next?"

"Tonight, by the detox center in Greenwich."

"Okay. Don't worry, Carmen, I'll find out what's going on." He leaves.

"Detox center's not far… Carmen just sent me Rodrigo's picture. Let's see If I can find him."

He swings to the Detox center, flipping and running on walls and backflipping off rooftop ledges. He finally gets there.

"That's Rodrigo. He's really nervous – that woman doesn't seem like a girlfriend. I'll get a photo and see if Carmen recognizes her."

"You better not hold anything back."

"Why would i? if that picture gets out, my life's over."

"Give me the plans and it won't."

He takes a picture

"Looks good. Remember, tell anyone about this, and I leak the photo."

""Plans"… this sounds bigger than I thought. I better follow the blackmailer and find out how big. Carmen, I'm uploading a photo to you. Does this woman look familiar?"

"No. I've never seen her. What were they talking about?"

"Sounds like she's blackmailing him. She mentioned something about 'plans.'"

"My husband works security at a casino in Atlantic City."

"Ah, good old bank break." Said Tony.

"She could be planning a heist, but I'll need more evidence before I can do anything."

"Let me know if I can help."

"Alright. I'm gonna see where she's taking the plans. I'll be in touch."

He follows the green taxi (what does the green taxi mean? Does it mean anything or is it just green?) to the location.

"Another victim, or an accomplice? I need a photo. No perches with a good angle on this new guy. Looks like it's the underside of the highline…"

"Imagine if this was his job, hunting down suspects and get a photo of them." Said Tony.

"Took you long enough. You get it?"

"As soon as he saw the photo, he fell in line."

"Rodrigo always was a sucker. Boss'll be happy. Let's see the plans. That's what I'm talking about. Gotta catch my train. Don't want to keep the boss waiting. Tonight's going to be our biggest score yet."

"Hell yeah."

"How many people are in on this? I've got to follow him."

The guy gets on a subway train.

"Tapping into the train system should help me follow the train's path."

"Is that a feature in my suit?" asked Peter, not one bit surprised if it was.

"Yes, like I said, I think of everything." He said.

"Clearly not if you got your jet jacked and I had to save it." Said Peter.

Tony looked like someone kicked his puppy. "Do you see this? This is true betrayal right here, all that that happened in Germany? That was nothing. This on the other hand." He said, holding a hand over his heart. Everyone knew he was just being overlydramatic and didn't want to admit he's wrong about thinking ahead.

"Carmen. The blackmailer met some guy under the highline. Sounded like he knew your husband. I'm sending you the photo."

"That's Deshaun, Rodrigo's best friend from college! He went to prison years ago on a robbery charge."

"Casino plans and a criminal record. Not a great combination. I need to find out who else is in on it."

"If the're hitting the casino, they'll need at least a wheel man and a safecracker. I watch a lot of heist movies."

"Sounds like it. I'll let you know what I find out." He hangs up and swings, dodging buildings and running up the ones he could't swing around in time

"End of the line. I should head over near the subway exit and wait for him to get out."

We then see Spidey perched on a lamp, watching him leave the subway.

"He's heading for that office building…"

"I got the plans, Boss."

"Review the schedule on the monitor. I put our hires on the whiteboard, mark their positions on the map."

"You hired Roman to drive? He's practically a kid! (fun fact, many of you might already know it but the guys names are Niko and Roman, "Niko It's you're cousin, why don't you take me bowling.")

"Yeah, my brother's kid. We can trust him. Anyway, it's done, he's already picking up our safecracker."

Spidey takes a picture.

"Alright, Roman's ready and we are running late. Let's roll." They run to cars.

"I have all the evidence I need. Now I just have to stop that car."

He follows the cars, punching the guys in them and webbing them up and away. He does the same for the car in front. The heist has been stopped.

"I love it when a plan falls apart! Hey, Carmen! Your husband's pal and his team just had their trip to beautiful Atlantic City cancelled."

"Thank you! I spoke to Rodrigo. That blackmail photo shows him driving the night DeShaun committed the robbery. But Rodrigo didn't know about it, he was just picking up his friend."

"I've got a contact on the force. She'll help Rodrigo…especially if he'll agree to testify about the blackmail."

"He will… or I'll show him he needs to be a lot more afraid of me than Deshaun! Thanks, Spider-Man." (I love this game but the subtitles really needs to sort itself out, is it DeShaun or Deshaun? And I'm not tripping either, I looked back over the subtitles.)

"Why did he choose to hide this instead of going straight to someone about this?" Whispered Steve to himself, the picture was bad, yes, but if he explained himself then he wouldn't have to be afraid of that picture.

The mission ends there, Peter pushes the black touchpad bar and notices a new suit unlock. What he unlocked left the entire team speechless.

"Wait holy shit!" shouted Peter. "That's my suit! How- wha- huh-" he was so confused, and so were the rest of the team. For now they just pushed that aside and continued the game.

END.

Ok so here's chapter 7 with the first side mission, sorry if this is so short or half assed in some places, I'm tired and it's just a side mission, they aren't that long. Anyway, goodnight.
