They woke up in each others arms, making them both blush before they got ready for the day.

Zoey won...again. Now she and Mal had the island to themselves...and Chris and the interns...

"Pst, Zoey," Mal knocked on her door.

"What is it Mal? It's late, I was going to bed."

"Shh, I have something better in mind." He grabbed her hand and led her to the docks.

"What are we doing here?" she asked.

"I stole the keys to the boat," he dangled them in front of her face. "I thought we could take it for a joyride."

"Well let's go!" she smiled.

"Ladies first."

"Oh, a gentleman too?" she smirked and stepped on. For you, I'll be anything… Mal smiled and got in the boat. "Where to?"

"Far away from the others," The stars glittered above and in the water below, as though they were floating in an endless void. They stopped a few miles offshore. Mal spoke as he lit candles that he set up around the boat, creating a romantic lighting. "It's nice to just be me, without worrying about Chris or his cameras ruining this for either of us. Just me and you out here…" They looked over the side of the boat; Mal put his arm over Zoey's shoulder and she rested her head on him. They stayed like that for a while, just being close to each other was enough.

"Mal?" Zoey broke the silence.

"Hm?"

"I-I'm just wondering...if you really like me?"

"Of course I do-"

"I know, it's just, all of Mike's personalities do...except Vito. I mean, Svetlana thinks of me almost like a sister, Chester like I'm his grand daughter, Manitoba bluntly flirts with me...What if you only like me because you're a part of Mike?"

"I am not a part of him, I'm...more like stuck inside him...Don't think about it like that," he cupped her chin, "My feelings for you are real, that's what matters."

"You're so sweet... But what about Mike?"

"What about Mike?"

"What if he comes back? I mean, he's overpowered his other personalities before. What if the something happens to you? Mike's nice and all, but you…I-I love you…" she looked into his eyes. She really did. He brought out a part of her she didn't know existed. He wasn't awkward around her like Mike was, not afraid to show his feelings. He was sweet too her,

He was speechless, he didn't expect this. He actually felt the same way. "I love you too. And don't worry about Mike, I'm stronger than he is. He can try all he wants, but I am here to stay. Here to stay with you."

She hugged him tight, not wanting to let go, as though he might slip away and Mike would take his place. Mal let go just enough so they could kiss. The feeling of belonging there, in each others arms, and nowhere else filling their hearts. Any worries about Mike or the game, just slipped away as they enjoyed a passionate, loving kiss.

They broke away and Zoey looked up. Seeing a shooting star, she made a wish, I wish I could be with Mal forever...

Mal saw it too and made his own wish, well more like a plan, I will stay in control...for her...

They lay down on the picnic blanket Mal set up ("Is this really necessary?" Zoey asked.

"Would you rather have a picnic on the island with Chris's cameras running around?"

She smiled and shook her head, "Fine.") and eventually fell asleep in each others arms, just as they had the night before.

Mal 'woke up' inside Mike's mind, Hm, what to do? what to do? I have to keep Mike busy, but I can't get rid of him...yet.

"Oh-uh-Hey, Mal. 'Ow's it goin, boss?" Manitoba said, nervously.

"Ah, Manitoba, just the guy I wanted to see. Have you met today's quota?"

"Almost, just a few more to go," he said sadly. Mal looked in the fire, seeing the remains of Mike's dreams, spotting one of him and Zoey kissing. He smirked, like that one's gonna happen anyway.

"So...Manitoba, you know Zoey, right?" he asked, already knowing the answer.

"Uh-yeah, why?"

"I was just talking with her and found out something interesting..."

"What would that be?"

"Oh, just that you flirt with her," he eyed Manitoba menacingly.

"Yeah, she's a beaut, alright."

Mal grabbed Manitoba's shirt, "She's mine, pal, so you better stop, or else."

"Alright, alright! Let go!"

"Good. Now if you see Mike or any of the others step outta line, you better tell me, got it?"

"Got it!" Mal put him down and went to work elsewhere. Mike would not get between him and Zoey, not if he had anything to say about it.
