"That might be a little difficult." Sam said, scratching at his head in curiosity at the situation.
"Why would it be difficult to take me home...are the seals not being broken as I set in motion?" Lucifer asked looking between his son and Sam.
"We may have stopped that." Sam said, looking about ready to puke with panic. His face had turned white and his hands were sweating. Rubbing his sweaty palms on his pants, Sam made to back up but decided against it, knowing Eclipse would probably not let anything happen to him.
"Pity." Lucifer said, tears falling hot and heavy down his face. "I had hoped..."
"You set in motion everything from my father to my brother being brought here, to hell, and tortured until they agreed to torture just so you could see Gabriel again?" Sam looked livid as he said this.
"I am sorry. It has been so long since I saw him..." Lucifer looked lost.
"I understand...I would do anything in my power to be with Eclipse...even if it meant the world had to burn..." Sam said, realizing for the first time how deeply in love he was with Eclipse.
"Dearest one, allow some time for me to get acquainted with your beloved." Lucifer said and Eclipse nodded. Walking over to Sam, Eclipse placed a sweet, gentle kiss on his lips before vanishing.
"Um...please don't kill me." Sam said, taking a step back as Lucifer went to take his seat once more.
"I don't intend to kill you." Sam relaxed at that and looked for a place to sit. Seeing none, he took a seat on the flood and crossed his legs in the hopes that he may be a bit more comfortable.
"Why don't you just leave?" Sam asked, hoping it would be that simple.
"This castle is my prison...I cannot leave this castle and though it is vast and beautiful-after the work I put into it mind you-I am tired of sleeping when I wake alone. I am tired of walking about when I no longer hear his voice...when I cannot see his face and his smile and...I would die but I am incapable of it..."
"How can I help?" Sam asked, looking closely at the devil. He wanted to know the whole story but he knew it would be told to him when the time was right.
"You can't...but your brother can, and he will not help." Sam looked confused so Lucifer elaborated.
"Dean is an angelic vessel, he holds the fate of heaven within his hands, and they would listen to him...the would love him and hold him higher than our father..."
"But why?"
"Dean is Micheal's vessel and with that comes such responsibility and high standing."
Sam thought a bit about what was happening here and though he really wanted to help this devil, he WAS the devil and it didn't mater why he'd been cast out, all these years had to have had some form of an effect on him.
"So are there any other ways we can bring you to earth, even for a little while to start?" Sam asked, looking expectantly at the devil.
"I may have vast knowledge but even I cannot think of much."
"I mean, if we could bring you to earth without all the demons and chaos and apocalyptic crap then I don't see why Dean wouldn't help you stay permanently."
Lucifer thought this through and a smile graced his lips.
"In my very long life, I have been summoned to earth before. It was always a short time...only a day or two, but I would be home...even if temporarily."
Sam nodded and stood. "I will find the spell." Sam said and looked to the ceiling.
"Eclipse?" He called, hoping his demon could hear him.
"Yes?" Eclipse said and Sam turned towards his smiling demon.
"Take me home, I'll help your father." Sam said and Eclipse beamed with happiness as he held his hunter close.
"Thank you." He said and turned to his father with a bright grin. "Aba, thank you for not killing him."
Lucifer shook his head fondly and laughed. "My honor Dearest one. Be safe."
"Be safe Aba."

"Where did you go?" Dean asked once Eclipse appeared before him. "And where's Sam?" Dean looked terrified as he asked this.
"I went to introduce him to my father, and my father wished to speak to him solo." Eclipse said, grabbing for his grandson, who seemed wide awake and alert.
"He's with Lucifer?" Dean asked, about ready to pitch a fit.
"Yes, he is with Lucifer and I vow on the life of my unborn children, he will be safe." Eclipse held Asher close and smiled down at the child.
"If you are sure, father." Castiel said, walking to tidy what little mess seemed to be around.
"What did your father want?" Dean asked, watching Castiel wonder this way and that.
"He needs help from you, but he knows you will not accept so he is asking help from your brother." Eclipse said watching the baby's eyes drift shut.
"Why wouldn't he ask my help?" Dean asked, feeling a little rejected.
"He knows you will not offer up help as willingly as your brother, not with what you went through in hell."
Dean nodded, understanding the circumstances.
"Did your dad have anything to do with that?" Dean asked, frown prominent on his face.
"He wanted to go home to Gabriel. He wanted to see the one he loved close to him once more...He had not intended on harming anyone in the process but he knew of no other way to come home." Eclipse explained and before Dean could pitch a fit Eclipse raised his hand and silenced him.
"If Castiel were taken from you, what would you do to be reunited with him?" Eclipse asked, looking closely at Dean for any signs he was lying.
"I would..." Dean hesitated but then looked at his little family and sighed with resignation.
"I would do anything...kill anyone and destroy anything and anyone that got between me and my ability to get back to him." Dean admitted, a bit ashamed at the answer.
"Do you think my father loves Gabriel any less than you love Castiel?" Eclipse asked, walking towards the cot at the corner of the room and placing Asher into it, covering him with a light blanket.
"No." Dean said, bowing his head in defeat.
"He just wants to go home Dean." Eclipse said before vanishing.
Dean stood there gaping at where Eclipse had stood and thought about what the demon had said. Maybe...just maybe he could give Lucifer a chance...if a small one.

"I love you Sam." Eclipse said, watching Sam open his eyes and take in the familiar surroundings of Gabriel's house.
"I love you too Eclipse." Sam said smiling at his demon.
"Do you think Gabriel is home?" Sam asked, hoping the angel to be around.
"I do not know, allow me...IAD?" Eclipse called out, hoping Gabriel would answer.
"IAD, I know you to be here. ANSWER ME!" Eclipse sounded annoyed more than anything.
"What is it Darling one?" Gabriel said, appearing before the two.
"Where is she?" Eclipse said, remembering details that seemed so far off now.
"Dead." Gabriel said, tears brimming at his eyes.
"You tried to save her...I understand this Iad. I will never be angered that you chose to save her. She deserved a life." Eclipse said and Sam was just lost. Utterly and completely lost.
"Not at the cost of yours." Gabriel said, bowing his head in shame.
"I live still. You did not fail me." Eclipse tried to assure but Gabriel shook his head.
"If not you then her. I have failed everyone, even your father." Gabriel sounded so defeated.
"Aba wants to come home." Eclipse said, watching Gabriel's eyes widen with surprise.
"Then...what are we waiting for." Gabriel said materializing a book from thin air. "Let's get started."
