Rachel was nervous it had been two weeks and she needed to take the test. She was worried about what the outcome would be what if it was negative? How could she tell Kurt and Blaine that she had failed to give them their one chance at a baby? Sure they could try again, but the doctor told her that they would have to wait six to nine months for some medical reason. Suck it up Rachel she told herself it's now or never. She got off the couch and walked toward the kitchen to get a drink.

"Hey Rach, me and Ellie are gonna go to t-ball practice. Are you feeling up to coming?" Finn asked as he entered the room. "I want to but I think that I need to stay home and do a few things." Rachel answered giving him the look. "Oh yeah of course. You sure you don't want me here?" Finn asked. "No I think this is definitely something that I need to do on my own." Rachel replied wrapping her arms around her husband's torso. "Have a great practice. I love you." She kissed his cheek. Just then Ellie rounded the corner.

"Mommy, how do I look?" Ellie asked. She took a very serious pose with her bat. "Like you are the cutest player on the team." Ellie huffed. "I'm not sposed to be cute. I'm sposed to look tough." Rachel smiled walking over to her daughter. "Well you do look tough, my little star." She tucked in her daughters jersey. "You're just always going to be cute in my eyes no matter what." She kissed the top of her daughter's forehead. "Break a leg. I love you." "You don't say break a leg for a game Rach." Finn told her. "Yeah mommy. That's only for dance." Ellie told her. "Well I'm still learning. I'm kind of new to sports and the etiquette of it." Rachel replied. "Well we better go sweet pea." Finn said to Ellie. "wuv you." Ellie yelled at Rachel as she ran to car. "Better go make sure she doesn't run in the streets. I love you." Finn told Rachel as he hurried out after the little girl.

Rachel drank about two glasses of water before heading to the bathroom. She took the test the next few minutes would be longest of her life so far. Rachel paced around her bedroom just thinking about how Kurt and Blaine had this one chance to get it right. Before having Éponine Rachel didn't know what it was to truly love someone unconditionally. The love she had for her daughter didn't compare to anything she had felt before. Finn was her soul mate who she loved with everything that she was, but their daughter was the very best of both herself and Finn. Together they made this perfect little being and nothing would ever compare to that love. Her phone alarm went off informing her that time was up. Rachel got up and walked to where the test was. She was about to get the answer whether she was going to give her brothers the start to their own family. Rachel's hands were shaking from nerves, but she grabbed the test. She took a deep breath and looked down.
