Lucas takes the time to watch every flowers dance in the wind. Sunflowers were the most majestic of plants and he knew no one would ever convince him otherwise. The way the petals mimicked the superb sun rays that hit his face. The warm center that gleamed happiness. The clear blue skies, with the faintest hint of clouds from here and there.

Then he felt a little solemn.

"Lucas sweetheart, don't wander too far!" He imitated Hinawas voice in his mind. She'd be somewhere in the same field of Lucas' vision, just enough that the flowers didn't cover Hinawa's figure and her galiant maroon dress.

"Lucas, here! I picked the smallest sunflower for you! I hope you like it!" He remembered Claus' voice and charisma as well. He'd put about 2 small sunflowers right onto his ears and kiss his nose, assuring him he was safe.

It wasn't long he'd have days to think about his family back at home. He had moved on, and he hoped they were doing well in heaven. Flint and boney back in the Nowhere Islands are sure to be fine too. He wipes a small tear from his eyes.

He smiles again, contempt the Helianthus' were cheering him up and reminding him of pleasant memories. Hinawa and Claus would have wanted him to move on from the past, and he was sure things would be alright.

"Poyo Poyo!" Kirby chimes, floating down from the sky and gently tumbling on the face of one sunflower down its stem and to the soft grass ground.

"What is it Kirby?" Lucas asks, shuffling towards the pink orb. He shakes his head of the leafy bits, lookin up as he took Lucas' hand.

"Poyo, Poyo (Zelda wants the best sunflowers from the garden! Have you picked them yet?)" Kirby is transfixed with a couple of red and orange ladybugs flying over his short body.

"Yeah Kirby, I got most of them! I just need about 3 more."

Kirby motioned for Lucas to follow him, possibly to play with the black spotted creatures. They went for 3 yards farther from the gates of the sunflower fields, that led into the super smash castle. Kirby is a fast flyer and practically nothing keeps him from searching for happy things.

Lucas, a little bushed by all the leaves of the flowers, tries his best to follow the balloon in his field of vision, sunflowers obscuring pink with black and yellow. He loses sight of him for about 5 seconds, until he heard a screech.

He rushed out of his little hideout, into a small clearing where Kirby, stunned, has his eyes on something rather… creepy. Lucas follows his eyes, and sees a sunflower with a jagged zig-zag pattern on its center.

They begin to move up and down, scaring Lucas as well, as it crawled up the head of the sunflower. It is revealed to be an eight-legged friend. "Aw it's alright Kirby, that spider won't hurt you!" The blond swirled boy patted Kirby's head, the latter shifting behind his legs from the arachnid.

Lucas inspected the creature and from the looks of it he concludes it's just a crab spider, merely waiting to catch prey. "They look like this to camoflauge, so that other bugs who want nectar from these flowers, it can eat." He held out his hand, unsure if it was friendly.

The yellow and black crab spider hesitantly put two legs out first to smell the boy, thinking he was a threat. However, sensing the benign nature of him, he crawled into his hand, scratching at its eyes from pollen.

"P-poyo poyo, poyo! (I'm not tasty at all Mr. Spider, please d-don't eat me!)" Lucas chuckled at poor Kirby's fright of the animal.

"The hairs on it tickle. I'll go ahead and put him down, these flowers over here will do great in the dining hall!" Lucas says, placing the spider softly onto the flower it was once on. Kirby followed suit, as he plucked out the missing sunflowers needed to complete the bouquet.

A tall one here, a tall one there. And from his eye he catches a special orange and red specimen. He grabs hold of the flower, basking in its awe and giggling at the ideology of a literal sun amongst the smash manor, he graciously placed it into the middle of the group, following Kirby to the path back home.

Food was the specialty when finding Kirby or leading him out of a hiding spot. In this case, he believed it was a death trap, and food practically took over all of his senses.

"Slow down, Kirby! You're going to make me drop these!" Lucas shouts, shuffling as fast as his legs can take him.

Unbeknownst to the 2 of them however, that flower held a secret that neither of them were aware of. Lucas' psychic powers never picked up on it, but the Red and orange flower was special. Behind the little bushel of the fellow species it was with, eight red spots emerged from its center.

They glistened and twinkled an amber red, bouncing up and down as the owner of said plants was running with them. It screeched to itself, ready to cause a little… mayhem.

*2 Hours Later*

"I say my boy, you sure have a green thumb!" Falcon patted Lucas' shoulder, seeing the fantastic array of the sunflowers he picked out. He beamed up at the adult, happy that SOME of the guys in smash have a heart for the little things.

Yes, they were placed exactly as Lucas said they would be. On each dining table within the dining hall, there was at least 1 or 2 sunflower there, along with roses, lavender, vagonya's, and star lilly's surrounding them. "Lucas!" his psychic partner runs along taking his attention.

"C'mon! Villager said he's going to show us the huge montage of fossils he dug up back in his homeworld! I hear he found the skull of a t-rex!"

"I wanna see if he found anything that lived underwater! Those are my favorites!" They ran with each other. Amongst the various hallways, they met Pokemon Trainer, Lucario and Toon Link, all with the same goal of seeing what the villagers all had in their collections.

"Hi Red!" Lucas exclaims, jumping up into his arms, being scooped up and embraced.

"How's my baby doing?" Red says nonchalantly, earning a muffle and blush from his shorter boyfriend. Ness laughs, Toon Link laughs just about everybody is laughing at the two's constant forms of affection.

It was never a secret of the love between Red and Lucas, it showed from the beginning. Both silent types preferred having each other as playmates, and their bond grew into a fit of romance not even Red wanted to get out of.

He takes Lucas' hand, the party heading out of the mansion to board a bus and head towards the villagers' homes.

Captain Falcon continues to watch each flower with amazement. Being a captain and a fighter was all good and nice but sometimes, aside from the other men, he relished enjoying the little things in life.

"Oh, Falcon there you are! Can you help me tidy up my work area? It's such a mess after Ganondorf and Bowser got into it to read up on their stories with adventurous women." Zelda says, bellowing her fellow smasher to aide her in cleaning her studies. He nods his head, following suit and wandering why those 2 even read. With there girth, they'd be training non-stop in the training programs.

They leave the dining hall, conversing, and various R.O.B.'s begin to take place to disinfect and dust said room.

Our eight eyed arachnid, hidden snug and fit in the flowers, scurries out from its hiding place, expertly gliding down the vase it was contained with. Not without leaving a trace of its silk behind. What's this?

The substance is red and begins melting the vase with every skitter the spider took. It's body was black composed of nothing but hair and the essence of fire glowing all around it. By the looks of it, the curiosity was getting the better of itself.

It takes a swift path to the ledge of the table, jumps and attached itself with a net of its web. The spider lands on all 8's, now frantically scurrying to avoid the marathon of R.O.B.'s trying to dance and clean everything in the vicinity. The embers leave the cloth burning, making the robots take notice and change the table immediately.

The whole cloth went into flames, all of the robots frantic as to who owns the fire extinguisher within their systems. One in chrome has it's hand turn into a hose and douses the R.O.B. holding it, covering it and 3 others in its path. All of them used built in wipers swiping the stuff off, giving a thumbs up to their counterparts.

One disperses to go to the kitchen, unaware that the spider has hoisted itself upon the exterior right above the moving panels of its legs. The doors swing open, allowing it to jump off once more. The silk appears to have stopped producing, but every step it took lefts little burn marks on the floor.

It climbed up the metal frameworks, easing right into the sink and cooking section. The creature goes past a giant metal bowl, and scurries back and sees its reflection. Is there another spider with it, or is it just itself? It wonders. It delicately taps at the bowl with four of its legs causing it to vibrate and echo sounds.

Intrigued, it's able to spin the bowl in place and taps it more making use of the item to make some form of music for pleasure. Not wanting to be seen by others it hurriedly moved on, past the sink and some other containers.

With powerful force, the arachnid propels itself out into plate filled with numerous ready dishes, one after another.

With slobbering saliva, in actuality slobbering lava, it captures a whole cooked turkey into its gaping jaws. Using the magma within its body, the spider covers the vulnerable bones to melt it. The cooked bird it bit into and ravishly took it pieces by pieces. Even without manners, the beast was finished in less than 5 minutes, which leads to think does anyone even come into the kitchen at all?

Unsuspecting brawlers Pit and Ike go through the doors, going straight to the fridge for a snack or two.

"Get out of the way Ike, you're using up all the space to the fridge!" Pit scalded, wanting to get his cool morsels before the buffer man.

Surprised by the sudden doors, and the hairs sticking up all over its body, the spider dashed off with impressive speed without even being seen. The mess of the turkey would have to be cleaned by anyone who stumbled upon it.

Scuttering as silently as possible, save for the green carpeted floor to mute every footstep that takes place. Small cinder prints are left in its wake, all in a wobbly path maintaining its stance in case a giant would come along to squish it.

Huddled underneath chandeliers, various lush leather sofas and couches and the scent of lavender going through the air, there must be a socialized spider within these corridors to live in. But what spider wants perfume? They much prefer the prey that stumble near their homes and pounce whenever they have the chance. Come to think of it, even spiders needed their homes to look spiff and clean while leftovers were put away for later consuming.

Our elegant and dangerous Umbra Witch, Bayonetta comes into the scene from atop a set of swirling stairs, in a semi puffed sunset dress resembling one Princess Peach would wear, casually applying her rouge lipstick looking in her pocket mirror.

"Where are we off to, Bayonetta?" Palutena asks, in an attire of a blouse, long skirt and flats.

"Oh, my regular trip to the city in search of more beauty accessories. Jeanne is coming along just so you know." She says winking in the mirror, closing it strong and firmly. They make their way down the stairs, in wonder if sales are as reasonable from last year. A so called deal of 500 dollars just for ONE lipstick and 3 shades of blush? Not a component to running a business.

Right on the last step, they both halt. They can sense the arid sign of danger in the air, Palutena the more curious of the 2.

"I really wish this could have waited when I got out of the mansion-" she was stopped by the goddess, aiming her sight to the doors leading to the kitchen. Small burnt marks were made, but in feather like touches.

Before Palutena could make sense of the underlying curiosity, she zips out her scepter. Bayonetta pushes her glasses up by the edge and is… not that surprised now that she sees the creature on top of the scepter.

If it were a cockroach, her wicked weaves would destroy everything in their midst, but she knew the species of the spider.

Palutena brings her staff forward, taking the top onto her face to wear she breathed deeply and closed her eyes, only to have them encounter the arachnid sitting on the orb of her staff.

She shrieks, tossing the item in the air without said spider even deflected by the upwards motion. It jumped from the ball, landing neatly in the palm of Bayonetta's pearl colored glove. The spider dances in place, unsure if the witch was about to kill it.

"I never thought I'd see your kind linger around these parts. You surprised me, but shocked her." Bayo giggled at the goddess sitting still on a rail of the stairway they came down from. Palutena was scorning the spider with looks, and something told her if she wanted Medusa to turn it to stone she'd probably have no choice.

"Don't be alarmed." She pet the abdomen of the spider, as it withdrew its action of dancing.

Palutena regains her composure, coming closer to look at the creepy spider. The spider screeched at her, and from out of thin air a book hits her head and she catches it in annoyance. She opens the book and from there it reveals the large spider in its adult form.

"Phantasmaraneae, the Twister of Flames?"

"Bingo. Her children probably nested around these parts so she shouldn't be too far off."

"Nests upon a sea of magma… name meaning phantom spider… TREAT IT WITH CARE AND RESPECT?! THAT THING ALMOST LUNGED AT ME!" Palutena gave the book back to Bayo, who with a snap of her fingers made the book disappear back to her dorm.

She carefully places it on a fern plant, as it looks back up at her with vague curiosity.

"I tell you, I would have squashed it if it were a cockroach, but these creatures aren't dangerous unless provoked. Remember little one, be careful of this mansion and the inhabitants. I don't want to have to deal with your mother if you end up getting killed. I'm sure you came in here for a reason but just get out when you're done, got it!"

The small phantasm cleaned its eyeballs with its legs, and Bayo could only tell it was a yes.

She began the course of walking out of the mansion, dragging Palutena by the arm, heart in a panicked rhythm from the surprise. "Th-Th-That thing is made of fire? How do you live when something like that exists?!" As with all meaningless conversations Cereza refused to acknowledge she lead the way and closed the doors behind them.

Olimar comes down with his troop of pikmin behind him, on his way to train and start getting charisma. He trotted down the hallway, completely unaware by mini phantas following suit.

The red pikmin at last waves at the spider, continuing their trek to the elevator. He clicks the button, all four wait for the DING to pop. It comes sooner than expected, and within it are Bowser and Jr., discussing plans about the next time to capture Princess Peach.

"Dad, you're always focusing your attention on Peach. What are we gonna do about me getting my own room?" He whines in the clown car, shaking it a little. Neither make room for the astronaut to come in, but he squeezes in just fine under their them. Tiny packs power, Jr was an example of that.

The young one hops onto the car and onto Bowsers shell. Spikes like this should be a hunting ground for the little being.

"I told you, when I finish conquering the Mushroom Kingdom, I'll think about it… maybe. I'd rather have all of you in one place so I can sleep at night!" he wags finger at Jr. who only sulked.

Bowser and son were going to the 5th floor, and the training facility was about at the top of all the numbers. Phantas was admiring the red tuft upon Bowsers head, all wrapped in its usual ponytail, screaming he was made of fire.

It jumps into the mass, causing it to smoke. That crowding of smoke turned the Koopa's hair into a walking campfire. A few more dings from one floor after another, they made it to the 5th floor, they walk and Bowser still doesn't notice.

Jr.'s nose picks up the aroma of a burning object, seeks the smokes location and notices his father's head. He clamped his mouth shut, snorting at his papa's naivety.

The spider is curious once more, hops from its second hiding place onto the red hallways, all connected to a middle corridor. This dorm has the paintings of the Earth, pokemon from the Unova region, several vending machines for late night snacking and well kept native trees from Survival Island in the Sinnoh area.

Nothing out of the usual, but something did catch its various eyes. In the middle of one of the coconut-like trees. Making sure it wasn't spotted, the koopas took the direction of the hallways straight to the left and went into their respective rooms. Probably until dinner is called.

The small being skidaddles towards the plant, hopping every now and then. It traces itself on the mulchy ground, making a swirling pattern around the trees base up into the huge leaves. Lightly taking steps as each made the leaf burn and open holes, it crawled close to the object.

The object was a silver chain with a pendant in the shape of a heart. The hinges on its right would open to a surprise, but it took no interest to opening it. Instead it devoured the item, as a piece of treasure for it to horde in the underworld.

Phantas consumed the chain like spaghetti, not realizing the giant leaf it was on is all singed it falls through. Not a problem for it as having 8 legs made it a comfortable acrobat.

Full with goods, it continues its trek to the hallway to the right, a little wobbly from the taste of the silver. It preferred meals that were live or cooked, but how else was it going to take it back home?

Now it feels exhausted from its long exercise and adventure unsure of where to perch itself until it was time to go back home. It skitters to the room closest to its range, hoping it could just lounge until then.

It enters, feeling other presences within the room. Lucario, it notices, is meditating with paws to its chest, and Charizard in the middle of the room, contemplating if it ever needs mega stones in the first place.

Pokemon are at wits with each other every now and then, but with these two it was like a peace treaty had been signed. Lucario would have preferred Greninja, but the room wasn't of the caliber to house him. Phantas finds Charizards tail and basks itself once more in fire. The bigger of the 3 fails to notice, a snot bubble appearing from his nose, indicating he fell asleep.

*3 Hours Later*

"That was the oddest museum I've ever been to, but it's the ONLY museum I've been to. I'll see you later fellas!" Toon Link shouts waving his goodbye to Red, Lucas and Ness going to the stairs racing villager to their rooms upstairs.

Red waves them goodbye, the shorter of the two rush right in, kicking their shoes off and lie down in their beds.

"Man that museum was scorching hot! I'm so thankful Villy and his friends gave us these complementary tumblers to drink water from!" Lucas exclaims, sipping his 700 ml bottle.

Red shoves his shoes off, feet aching from the longest museum tour he'd ever been on. The one in Pewter City only had a few fossils he'd been interested in and frankly that small place was enough for him.

He pets Lucario's head, the latter leaning into the touch. Charizard flaps his wings as a greeting to Red.

"You get used to it after a while. I walked a whole desert once with my friends, I was sure we were done for." Ness says putting away some dinosaur t-shirts and faux fossils of an ancient crab and what he deemed to be the biggest bat in existence.

Lucas sweatdrops at Ness' adventures. He too has been to a desert but never (from what he remembers) crossed all of it. He peers out the giant balcony, watching the vast sun splatter the various shades of orange and red. The clouds remind him of flying in the sky, if he had wings.

Right on the center of the floor lied a glimmering familiar shape. Lucas walks towards it, catching the curiosity of his roommates and pokemon.

Phantas catches sight of the person that didn't bother the fellow arachnid living amongst the sunflowers. It feels the calm vibe of the boy, remembering the little episode of him with the pink plush-ball in the fields.

The hairs on all ends stand up, catching up on a strong but silent vibration coming from the outside.

Lucas senses this, along with Ness and both do not hesitate to check out the outside. The balcony held the whole picturesque of Smash Garden. Some fountains here and there, and more importantly the sunflower field. The spider crawls up Lucas' leg, catching itself on his shoulder.

Seeing Lucas as its friend, the magma it makes doesn't burn him. Red comes out and inspects the normal landscape. Amongst the lightest shadings from the sun, lightly painting the flowers graciously a form manifests. The bigger spider, most likely the mother, has come for her child.

A small screech the little one gave, and Lucas let out his arm and hand. The creature moves forward out to go with its mother but not before turning back.

It regurgitates the silver locket it found within the tree, Lucas capturing it before it fell down. The mother screeches for it to go back with her.

Lucas smiles down at it, caressing the small hairs on its body. He remembers something from the museum, going to his pockets and takes out an iron on patch of the owl that leads tours at the villagers' home. Feeling the warmth of the sunset, and the heat from the spiders body, he places it on and presses it with care.

It becomes an embroidered part of the tarantulas body. He slowly puts both hands out to the bigger of them all, and out hops the spider, disappearing with its mother in embers and ashes, dancing in the wind.

Lucas, a little in bewilderment looks down at the locket. He opens it, heart slowing down in beats. There he finds a picture of his family on the left all smiling, in the brilliance of the lighting. On the right he finds Red's picture smiling as well.

'D… Did he?"

Lucas looked back to find Ness missing, and Red casually whistling up to the dotless sky.

"U-Um… I have no clue where that came from." He really isn't in the mood to explain where that came from, but the creature found it before he got a chance to give it to him. He was sure that hiding spot was fool proof!

The blond tugs at his taller significant other. He beckons for him to come closer.

'MWAH'. He places a chaste kiss to Reds, taking hold of his hand. The brown haired boys' heart melted at the courage Lucas took to kiss him. He smiled in the kiss, gripping his hand to Lucas'.

"Woah now! Get a room you 2!" Ness exclaimed with binoculars in their faces. Red shifted back, stunned by the giant glasses.

"Wha- We're in a room!" He exclaimed with a flustered Lucas to the side of Ness, smacking his shoulders lightly, trying not to become a beet. Ness took down the binoculars, looked at Red and back swiftly.

"Technically you're outside, and you could lose some weight." Red made due to run after him, ring his neck with the binoculars necklace like string. Lucas shook his head behind fists, holding the necklace tightly, just waiting for his blush to dissipate. He manages to calm himself down, before looking back on the silver locket.

He smiles to himself, looking up at the peaking stars coming into view.
