Hey guys!
So, as promised, more Double It Up. I'm so close to done. You guys are gonna love the next chapter. It's gonna be pretty long, and confessions will be made. And stuff.
Anyway, reviews.
gamelover41592: All right, here you go.
AmyNChan: Haha, right? But these characters are not particularly known for their extreme perceptiveness in the romance department. (Also, it's a plot device. Don't tell ;)
All right, that's all from me for now. I hope I'll have the next chapter up soon, but we'll have to see how things go. :3
You know you love me, IzzytheGreat14

"Excuse me?" Phineas blurted, and Good Isabella whirled, her cheeks flushing bright red.
"Phineas! Uh, what are you...is that the machine for my arm?"
Phineas blinked and nodded, handing it to her. She put her hand on the top and stiffened as an electric current passed through her. She sighed as she felt the pain from her arm stop.
Then, just as Phineas had envisioned, she grinned at him, and his heart fluttered.
An evil laugh killed the moment. All three inventors turned to look at Evil Isabella.
"You really don't see it? God, both of you are so oblivious! What do you need? A written invitation? For hell's sake, just ki-"
Good Isabella lunged forward, slapping her hand over her counterpart's mouth.
"Ah, I think we've heard enough," she giggled nervously. Ferb raised his eyebrows but sent an electric pulse through the mind reader-just enough to knock the enemy out, but not nearly enough to hurt her.
Good Isabella slumped in relief as Ferb carried the other girl away.
"So...Isabella…" Phineas started hesitantly. She was currently in the process of undoing all the binding around her newly-healed right arm.
"Mmm," she said, struggling with one of the more complicated knots. Phineas walked over and helped her. She flashed him another megawatt smile before resuming her task.
"Uh….nevermind," he said, watching as she pulled the rest of the wrapping off.
Isabella's eyes flicked up and caught Phineas's. He froze, drowning in their dark blue depths.
"Are you okay, Phineas?" he heard her say.
"Uh...uh, yeah, for sure," he stammered, tearing his gaze away and dropping his eyes to his shoes. He felt her cool hand on his forehead.
"You feel flushed," she noted with concern. "C'mon, Phin, it's not gonna kill you to rest for a while."
"I...just...okay," Phineas said, daring another glance at Isabella. She smiled gently.
"Here, I'll show you where the cots are," she said, taking Phineas's hand and gently tugging him towards the door.
Phineas allowed the girl to lead him down several hallways and flights of stairs. She opened a door and flipped on a lightswitch, and Phineas saw several cots lined up against one wall.
Isabella released his hand and grabbed some blankets from a shelf, spreading them over a cot.
"There you are," she said, and Phineas smiled.
"Thanks."
Both stood awkwardly until Isabella grinned.
"What's the matter, Phin? You want me to write you an invitation or something?"
Phineas shook his head and walked over to the cot.
"Thanks, Izzy," he said, gently kissing her cheek.
He didn't miss the way she blushed and cleared her throat, but she wasn't pulling away, either. He threw caution to the wind.
"Isabella," he whispered. "Can I tell you something?"
"Anything, Phineas," she said, half-closing her eyes as they slowly began to drift closer.
Just as Phineas was about to kiss Isabella, the door slammed open, and she jumped away from him as if she had been stung.
"Ferb," she said, rubbing both palms down her white jeans. "What is it?"
"Randy has delivered the necessary parts for the Merge Ray, and the other Isabella has escaped," the British boy said quickly.
All thoughts of romance gone, the three inventors raced out of the room.
None of them noticed Evil Phineas and Isabella lower two sets of binoculars in the building across the way.
