"So my daughter, Nalini, called you, Austin Moon her 'daddy'?!" Ally asked in shock

"Yeah," I said nodding my head. We were at the beach. Ally and I on the chairs while Nalini was playing in the sand.

"Why?" she asked.

"I-I don't know. Kids just love me!" I joke.

"Austin this is serious!" she snaps. Why is she getting all worked up over this? It was nothing that big of a deal, but an honest mistake.

"Chill Ally, why are you getting all worked up over this?" I asked

"Cause," she starts, "Because this is something you don't understand!" she yelled

"Shh, she's right there!" I say, "What's there not to understand? That fact that she just honestly mistaken me for Daddy?" I asked

"No, it's that-that she's, she's not supposed to call you that!" Ally shouts getting out of her chair, her face red with rage.

"Why not? She hasn't had a father figure in her life or a long time, and then here I am filling in that role, you should be happy for that! Your own daughter is finally happy!" I say getting up too. We have attracted the attention of some people, and I'm sure that someone's taping this.

"How do you know she's happy? She was perfectly fine without you in her life!" she snaps.

"No she loves me! And I love her too. And I thought I loved you!" I say to her. Then I realize my mistake. I heard a few gasps from on lookers but the reaction from Ally is what really stung. She had the tears welling up in her eyes and she was biting her lip hoping that the tears wouldn't spill.

"Ally, this is not how I wanted this to go," I tell her with my soft voice.

"Mom, why is everyone staring?" Nalini asked getting off the sand.

"No reason, Uncle Austin's just a little famous," she told her.

"Cool! Do you have a mansion?" She asked excited.

"Yeah," I answered not taking my eyes off Ally.

She sighed and wiped her face a few times.

"I'm going in the water now," she says and walks off in the direction of the ocean.

"What's wrong with mommy?" Nalini asked concerned. I wanted to go after her, but I couldn't leave Nalini here alone and Ally was apparently an expert swimmer for someone who hates the beach.

"I don't know," I sighed, "Maybe we should give her some space," I tell her.

"Okay," she says.

I can't believe it. I had my first fight with Austin. What really hurt is when he said he thought he loved me. I loved him, as much as I didn't want to admit it, I loved him.

At least I thought I did.

Now I'm just not sure how I feel. Here I am in the water crying over some situation that I never saw coming and I have no idea how to fix it.

I sit down in the water and put my face in my hands, what mess have I started?

Maybe I did over react. Nalini's just a child, she doesn't know any better. Maybe she just really honestly made that mistake, she was sleepy and Austin's been very fatherly lately with her.

Or does she know that truth? That Austin really is her dad? No one knows the truth expect Trish and my parents. And grandma and grandpa came to visit for her birthday, so they could've told her but wouldn't because they know they're not supposed too.

This is confusing and stupid. Austin's a great guy. If I had just told him the truth those many years ago, this would have not happen, our lives could have been so different. Everything could have been perfect. No mess, no Dallas, no hiding, no secrets, no problems.

I was so lost in thought that I didn't notice the big wave that took me down.

"ALLY!" I heard someone cry in the distance but the water was already filling in my lugs and I couldn't breathe. The stars danced across my closed lids as the water swallowed me up.

10 minutes later

"Ally are you okay?" someone asked. My eyes felt heavy as I opened them, what happened?

"Yeah, yeah," I mumbled getting up.

"You're lucky this young man saved you in time. As lifeguards we stress that you are very careful while in the water. That you don't doze off while in the water. We cannot afford to have a death here because of carelessness.

Well that makes me feel great.

"Sure, it wouldn't happen again." I reassure him.

"It better not," he warns before pulling me up with him. Now that I get a good look at him, he is quite cute. Blue dreamy eyes, lots of muscle and a charming smile, even though he practically scolding me for my irresponsibility, he's wearing a smile, a very, very cute smile.

"Ha, yeah, I promise," I giggle now that I've recovered somewhat fully, well enough to ogle at him.

"Anything for your safety," he smiles at me and lingered a bit longer before leaving. The small group of people that have gathered around me started to walk away.

Everything seemed perfect while I was all smiles when I heard, "Well your welcome," a cold, cold tone.

"Huh?" I ask the voice. When I turn around I see it was a pale Austin.

"I said you're welcome. I just saved your life," he said with bitterness as if he regretted it.

"Oh um, thanks," I say giving him a half-smile.

"Yeah, thanks," he mocks me, "Is that all you have to say?" he asked

"Well I'm sorry, do you want a reward too?" I fired

"No, but next I carry you to the beach, I'd rather be able to have fun than having he pull you from under the water when a wave crashed on you and you drowned because you were probably thinking about, God knows what," he snapped

"Well for someone who just claimed he was a hero, you seem to regret that," I snap too.

"I never said I regret it, I regret having to see you flirt with a lifeguard," he fires back

"So what you're saying is that you're jealous," I sum up

"No what I'm saying is to be careful," he says

"Why are you so worked up?" I ask

"You just almost drowned!" he exclaims. "What good boyfriend would not be 'worked up' because of that!" he adds

"Whoa, stop right there," I say holding my hand in a stop signal, "Boyfriend?" I asked

"That's not important!"

"Yes it is. I never knew we were in a relationship!" I yell

"Well not now!" he snapped.

"So then why did you say that?" I ask

"Mom! Uncle Austin! Can you both stop fighting and look around? Everyone's staring! This is the worst day ever, can we just go!?" Nalini shouts at us.

"Nalini! Oh I forgot you were here. I'm so sorry." I apologize.

"Yeah maybe you would remember me, if you weren't so bust fighting with Uncle Austin!" she snaps too.

Why is everyone so snappy? "Forget it. Let's just go change," I tell her.

"Why do we need too? Only you went into the water," she replies

"Don't argue with me. Let's just go," I say taking her hand.

"No!" she says as she pulls away he hand.

"Well how do you expect us to go home?" I ask

"There's no need to change. We came to the beach, obviously I will get sand in the car," Austin butts in

"I know. But she needs to change." I say persistent on this

"Only you do. Nalini and I are in the car," he says taking her hand, "You'll meet us when you're done," he adds pulling her towards the car park and she willingly goes.

Unbelievable.

Well did you like it? Did you hate it? Review it? Fav it? Follow it?

Don't worry they'll make up soon, but warning there will be a BIG blowout in the next couple chapters, speaking of which this story is coming to an end soon. :O

Only like 6 or 7 chapters left. I know it seems a lot now, but I want to update all those chapters by the end of this week.

This a note to the people who read my other stories. If you don't then just skip this:

I realized that I can't handle updating all my stories. I need to focus on one and wait for it to be completed before I continue. I know I've started all those other like, That Summer, The Bet and The Love That Lasts Forever.

I know I've left you kinda cliffy at the last chapters on those stories, so bear with me. I wanna finsh this story first then tackle That Summer, since sooooo many people read it, then The Bet and Then The Love that Lasts Forever.

I know your fav story might be somewhere on that list but please be patient. I'm not abandoning that story. I'll be updated I promise.

I have so many stories that I know you want to see updated and I will, I promise and I have so many others in my mind and written down that I'm itching to get on the site and soon they'll be up.

So I hope you're not mad at me.

And also just something for you to chew on, what do you think Ally should do to win Austin back?

And I'm gonna have a new poll up for you to vote on, and I would love if you did.

Also did I metion I have a community? Check it out. .Ausally. That's the title.

Have a great night, day or whatever time it is in your country.
