The three girls stood on the river bank, having washed and changed. Now, they looked like they belonged in Narnia, the dresses fitting them perfectly. Alana was running her hands through her now strawberry blonde hair, still trying to process everything. First, she learns a world full of talking animals and real magic exists. Then, she discovers there's a prophecy of her being the holder of said world's pure magic. Finally, she learns she is the daughter of the world's spirit and the world's true king, making her the true princess.

"You look pretty, Lana." Lucy smiled at the 14 year old princess.

"Thank you, so do you." Alana smiled.

"I'm sure Peter will think so as well." Susan smirked. Alana's eyes widened at the implication and blushed a light pink.

"I...I don't like him like that." She answered quietly, sounding like her old self. Lucy smirked,

"Nice try, Lana, but we both know you like our brother."

"I-I do not." Alana denied pathetically.

"Peter likes you too." Susan smiled, crossing her arms. Alana looked away, her hands moving to her original strawberry blonde strand and pulling on it nervously.

"You look like Mum." Lucy changed the subject, turning to her sister.

"Mum hasn't had a dress like this since before the war." Susan said.

"We should bring her one back." Lucy grinned, "A whole trunk full!"

"If we ever get back." Susan stated bluntly when she realized what she said. "I'm sorry I'm like that. We used to have fun together, didn't we?"

"Yes." Lucy agreed, "Before you got boring."

"Oh, really?" Susan smiled before she splashed Lucy. The little girl cried out and splashed back when suddenly, both Pevensies were covered in water. They turned to see a smirking Alana, hands on her hips. Soon, all three girls ended up soaking wet and laughing. The trio made their way up to the tree where they hung their towels. Susan pulled hers off only to be met with Maugrim and another wolf, inches from them. The three girls screamed and jumped back.

"Please don't run." Maugrim said, "We're tired."

"And we'd prefer to kill you quickly." The other wolf growled. Susan and Alana looked over at the tree where Susan's horn was. Quickly, Susan threw the towel at the wolves as Alana activated her bracelet. The girls ran over to the tree and Susan blew into her horn.

"Susan, Lucy, climb the tree." Alana instructed, "I'll distract them."

"Lana..." Lucy whispered.

"Climb now!" Alana ordered and deactivated her force field. The Pevensie girls climbed the tree quickly as the wolves circled the princess.

"Hmm, so we get to kill the prize first." Maugrim said, "Perfect." Alana glared at the wolf.

"I wouldn't count on that." She snarled. Suddenly, light, pure white and bright, surrounded her hands and the girl shot it at the wolf. Maugrim leaped back, barely avoiding it and snarled at the girl. Alana growled and the light's intensity increased. "You will not harm them." She stated. Maugrim laughed,

"Silly girl. You have no power over me." Alana growled and held out her hands. Light shot out at both wolves. The one behind Alana cried out as Maugrim barely avoided it. Alana's light stretched out and she soon moved the light like whips. The light whipped around the wolves, attacking them. The light was deadly, as was its wielder. Alana was entirely focused, resembling an entirely different person from when she first met the Pevensies. It was as if her true self, the princess and daughter of Narnia, had finally revealed itself.

"Lana, look out!" Susan screamed.

"Lana!" Lucy cried. Alana turned around just as the other wolf jumped towards her. She avoided it jumping on her but its nails managed to scratch her arm, badly. The princess cried out and fell to the ground, gripping her arm tightly, blood covering her hand.

"Stupid girl." Maugrim growled. Alana looked up, glaring at the wolf when she saw Peter running up. Peter stood in front of her and demanded,

"Get back!"

"Peter! Ah!" Lucy cried. Peter had unsheathed his sword already and pointed it at both Maugrim and the other wolf as Alana dragged herself to the girls' tree.

"Come on. We've already been through this before." Maugrim said, "We both know you haven't got it in you."

"Peter!" Susan cried, "Watch out!"

"Peter..." Alana whispered, weak from the blood flowing out of her arm surprisingly fast. Aslan and a small group of warriors ran up, Aslan pinning the second wolf before looking over at his wounded daughter leaning against a tree. As the warriors moved to help Peter, Aslan growled,

"No! Stay your weapons. This is Peter's battle." Maugrim continued to circle the future High King.

"You may think you're a king," He snarled, "but you're going to die...like a dog!" Then, the wolf leaped at Peter.

"Look out!" Susan cried. Both Peter and Maugrim fell to the ground.

"Peter!" The three girls screamed, though Alana's was weaker then the other two's. Susan and Lucy lept to the ground, supported Alana and the three headed over to Peter. They reach him and push the wolf off of him to see Peter alive, but shaken up. The three girls hug him tightly as Aslan releases the other wolf. The wolf runs away and Aslan orders,

"After him. He'll lead you to Edmund." Orieus nods and the warriors charge after the wolf as the girls release Peter. Alana grunted and grabbed her bleeding arm again, kneeling on the ground.

"Alana, what happened?!" Peter asked.

"That wolf...he got me...just before you arrived." Alana hissed in pain. Aslan walked over to her.

"Alana, show me your arm." He said. Alana agreed and removed her bloody hand. Lucy gasped and Susan covered her sister's eyes. Aslan looked over his daughter's wound before he breathed on the wound. The blood began to retreat and the wound began to close up. Alana closed her eyes, feeling the warmth of her father's breath flow through her. As she opened her forest green eyes, Alana smiled greatfully.

"Thank you...Father."

"F-father!?" The Pevensies cried.

"We will explain later." Aslan said, "Peter. Clean your sword." Peter slowly stood, placed his sword in the grass and Aslan placed his paw on the blonde Pevensie's shoulder. Once he removed it, Aslan said, "Rise, Sir Peter Wolf's-Bane, Knight of Narnia." Peter rose and smiled at his sisters and friend.

"Now, can we have an explanation?" Susan asked.

"I will explain." Alana said, adopting her father's formal speech. "When I was born, Narnia's spirit released its pure magic and Aslan roared. The two combined in our world and I was born. When I was four, I somehow found my way here, though I don't know how. Father found me and breathed on me, giving my first strawberry blonde streak. The rest, well, is history."

"So...you're a real princess?" Lucy asked excitedly.

"Yes, I could say I am." Alana smiled, "No wonder that book always gave me hope."

"And you had no idea this whole time?" Peter asked.

"I had no idea until Father gave me this pendant." Alana answered, "This pendant also gave me my full powers and my true hair color."

"How were you a brunette though?" Susan asked.

"My mother's spirit has brown hair, that's why." Alana answered, "Please, don't treat me any different. I'm still the same Alana you met on the train."

"We know." Susan smiled, placing a hand on the princess' shoulder.

"We still love you." Lucy smiled, "Right Peter?"

"R-right." Peter stuttered, his face tinting pink slightly. Alana smiled softly,

"Thank you, so much." She pulled the Pevensies into a hug, feeling at home and safe for the first time in a long time. "I love you all." Aslan walked over and licked his daughter's forhead through the hug.

"And we love you." Lucy smiled.

Later that day, Alana sat in the girls' tent, running her hand over her book. She opened to a random page and smiled at the drawing. It showed a unique Snow White and Prince Charming standing side by side. They were unique because Charming had caught Snow in a net. She smiled as she ran her fingers over the drawing. If there was one thing this book did besides give her hope, it was to remind her that love comes in strange ways at times. She never believed she'd find someone she could fall in love with but...with Peter. She shook her head, strawberry blonde strands falling in her eyes.

Snap out of it! She thought, You can't fall in love with Peter, much less like him as more than a friend! Besides, if those prophecies come true, you'll be stuck with him, here, for who knows how long! You can't like him! Alana sighed, burying her face in her book. It was all so frustrating, and now she had a war to worry about!

Don't forget you're also the princess of this whole country now! A voice nagged in her head. The strawberry blonde growled as she put her book away and took out her sketchbook. She flipped open the first page and gasped, her eyes wide. There on the page was a crudely drawn picture of Aslan.
