Draco sat on the war stone floor. looking around the tower. He saw walls filled with paintings and other various drawings. A bookshelf with lacking amount of books, a small kitchen and hair. The hair was everywhere, it went in a hundred different places.

"What the hell?" Draco pulled at some of the hair, gathering it up into a heap of platinum.

"Why is there so much?" The pile only grew, no split ends to show the end, After he became entrapped in the strands he heard a voice

"Rapunzel" Draco made his way to the large window "let down your hair" the voice rang out, Draco looked from the dark haired woman to the floor where it was piled. Taking a large arm full he threw it over the edge. The woman huffed, before climbing up.

"How barbaric, that's going to ruin my ends"

"Did you say something dear?" Draco looked over the woman, instantly reminded of his aunt Bella. "no"

"Good, no more mumbling about the lights"

"Lights?"

"Dont play dumb, you know how i hate the mumbling"

"right"

"Since its your birthday soon, i've decided to get you new paints, though its a long journey" the woman sighed, as if it was the last thing she wanted to do. "now sit, let me brush your hair" As she brushed away the tangles Draco had a sudden urge to sing, his voice easily finding the right tone and melody. When he finished, the woman stood up, Draco stared at how much younger she seemed, the few wrinkles he saw minutes before were gone.

"Ill be back in three days" She grabbed the hair disappearing out of the window.

he heard a thud come from the small wardrobe "bloody hell" opening it, catching Harry as he fell out. "What the hell were you doing in there?"

"Waiting to come out" he winked, Draco rolled his eyes at his childishness.

"you look good with long hair"

"I was thinking of getting a hair extending potion when this was all over" Draco said in mock humor.

"don't get any ideas potter"

"I already have them, come on princess we got a trip to take"

"To our happily ever after?"

"I hope so" Harry scaled down the wall, Draco following him. the moment his foot touched the ground he was swimming in water.

The cave was dark, Harry gasped for air, The water was filling up fast. Draco was trying to keep his head above the water, "Sing" Harry said,

"What?"

"Sing" Draco started, but cut off when the water filled over them. his hair lighted the darkness in the cave for second before fading away.

harry focused his magic in a weak spot in the rocks, the water pushed them out into a river. Harry swam for the ledge, pulling draco with him. "What was the light?" Draco coughed out, "your hair" Harry breathlessly said.

Draco touched a few strands of his hair. "Theres leaves and twigs in it" harry grinned at draco's horrified look. He shot up immediately trying to untangle it. "This hair is impossible" he mumbled, glaring at it.

Harry grabbed the front of Draco's soaked shirt catching him off guard centimeters from Draco's lips the scene changed causing both boys to groan.

They stood in the middle of town, Draco hair in a large braid filled with colorful flowers. Draco watched as the towns people danced around each other, fascinated he let himself be dragged into the center. Harry watched him, off to the side grinning. harry let himself get pushed into Draco, grabbing his hand. Harry spun Draco, holding him close.

"To the boats!" A man yelled. Harry reluctantly let go of Draco's hand.

they sat across from each other in a small boat, the first lanterns were pushed into the sky, others quickly following. Draco watched them mesmerized by the colors and overall beauty of a simple lantern.

"Fuck this" harry Lunged forward, smashing his lips against Draco's. Cursing at the pain, Draco pulled him closer they ignored the light rocking of the boat.

Draco opened his mouth for more, Spitting out water as they were thrown into the water. Draco groaned, Harry's chuckles faded away.

"Draco?" Harry pulled on the chains that were secured to the wall.

"Harry?" Draco looked around the tower he had been in earlier.

"Now Rapunzel how many times do i have to tell you?" the woman looked vaguely concerned.

"let me go"

"I can't, letting my dearest child into that dangerous world what kind of mother would I be?"

"A normal one?"

her evil smile turned to a disgusted one. "You should let him, he wants a family, he can't have that with you, a death eater" she spat.

"That's"

"He loves her, she even looks like his mother, how can you even compare?"

"But"

"He didn't choose you, he chose them. Who wants a boy whose own father tried to kill him multiple times. A boy who he has always hated, a weak pathetic boy who couldn't even complete a mission given to him"

"Shut up" Draco screamed, tears sliding down his cheeks. "I already know" his voice barely a whisper. " I still love him even though its all true, I don't deserve him. So I don't need you telling me what i already know"

"your an idiot Draco Malfoy" Harry said entering the tower

"Oh look the saviors here to save" Draco said in the snarkist tone he could muster with tears and snot trailing down his face. He wiped his face with his shirt, rolling his eyes.

"Of course"

"I wont let you take him" the woman hissed.

"Sorry Draco I actually don't remember how this one ends"

"What?"

"Somehow she turns to dust, I think"

"And you called me an idiot" Draco pushed off of the spot he was sitting in, walking to Harry. He was yanked back, the hair was tied to a pillar. "Damn this hair" grabbing a piece of broken glass he sliced it through his hair, the strands falling away, his hair brushing his shoulders.

"Well that's a new look"

"What have you done?" The woman screeched, her clear young face giving way to deep wrinkles, her body dropping to dust under her cloak.

"That was easy" Harry commented with a shrug.

"Can we go home now?" Draco glared at the ceiling.
