Don't own Big Bang Theory. Amy and Astrid.

Astrid really wanted to just head home, things were not ordered or going as planned. She agreed she needed to smooth things over with Dr. Hofstadter, after all you can't expect or demand professionalism if you yourself don't exhibit the behavior you wish to instill. However Dr. Hofstadter, he was being everything Penny had stated. But to compare his childhood to her nightmares, Astrid sighed, no use. She overreacted, lost control. She found herself staring at a restroom mirror, oh she was aware getting here but she took a moment to focus on herself.

Amy was not in the best of moods, she had spent most of yesterday in shock. Now all she wanted was Sheldon to admit his mistake. Amy didn't want him back, but wanted to Sheldon ask, no beg her forgiveness. She wanted him to admit she was the best thing to happen to him and he blew it. The only problem…was standing in front of her.

Amy had walked into the restroom to find Astrid at the sinks, the women didn't acknowledge her. At first Amy fumed inside, took a breathe. She needed to find out more about this woman and use it against Sheldon for him to admit his failure. Well Sheldon would obviously pick a women of intelligence, she was inferior.

Astrid noted Dr. Fowler's entrance, tense body language. The cockiness in her brows, a shifting women of intellect but morals…questionable. She watched as Dr. Fowler walked around her to another sink, not realizing how closely she was being watched. The doctor placed her purse on the counter and started rummaging. Astrid glanced down, to the hard counter and a thousand crack skulls raced through her mind.

Breathe, "Dr. Fowler, I would suggest you drop whatever your planning."

Amy actually startled, and smiled, "oh, I thought you were having a moment. I mean it must be hard keeping up with Sheldon."

Astrid blinked, "none of which is your concern, Dr. Fowler."

Amy looked sympathetic, "imagine what he could be with the right person helping him, molding…"

Astrid looked up into the mirror, "Dr. Fowler, you do realize Dr. Cooper told me everything."

Amy blinked, and recovered, " I'm sure you tried to understand…"

Astrid set her jaw, "Dr. Fowler."

Amy continued, "Sheldon was on such a great path, I'm sure he would have his Nobel Peace Prize. A world renowned scientist, and yet here we are."

Astrid looked ahead as Amy continued, "I really hope Sheldon is happy with the decisions he has made."

Amy was confused, "are you just going to stand there?"

Astrid watched Amy who looked like she won, "well I'm sure it's a lot to take in, I'm sure you haven't given it much thought…"

Amy picked up her hand bag after doing basically nothing and turned to leave, "knowledge is power Dr. Fowler."

Amy blinked, "yes. Anyone with a rudimentary working cortex would know that."

Amy looked smug as Astrid smiled, "like how much trouble one would get for reserving funds from a terrorist backer."

Amy looked confused, "I imagine a lot, what does this have to do with anything?"

Astrid nearly whispered, "Faisal."

Amy blinked, and composed herself, and got angry, "Prince Faisal is not a terrorist, besides I haven't dealt with him for years."

Astrid just looked at Amy, who seemed to compose herself, "Sheldon told you about him, don't think you can try…"

Astrid smiled, "Jaguar X"

Amy blinked, Astrid continued, "that was the name of the scent he wears, sort of burns the nose. Unpleasant but tolerable, his cloths reek of that stuff. Like his gold satin underwear he wears all the time."

Amy was still processing as Astrid walked past. How? She never told Sheldon any of that, that doesn't mean anything. When vetted him well before taking the money, right. But her mind kept going back to how. It took a few moments before she left the bathroom, Amy went to her office and started to do some research.

Ok bad chapter. There was too much I wanted to stuff, so onward. I wanted to bring up Amy's manipulation but have Astrid trying to behave. Also a recent episode had Amy tricking Sheldon into thinking about kids and wanted a line about that. I don't like manipulation.
