Sorry for the crazy delay...ummm I don't own anything still and it us almost summer vvacation so I'm excited.

Percy had begun staying with the Egyptians, and he was really happy. He went to classes, hung out with Skylet and all of his new friends, and Khenemu treated him like he'd always had been his son.

The Greeks hadn't tried to get him again, and he was honestly happy. It wasn't until an early Saturday morning that things got odd. Percy was introducing Skylet to the comic book hero Superman when the water began to get cooler to him. At first he thought he was imagining it, and ignored it. But the cold feeling stayed with him all day.

It wasn't until lunch that it began to really bother him though, to the point he asked Skylet.

"Does the water seem colder to you?"

"And kryptonite is his only weakness!- wait what? Sorry, uhh yeah, that's odd the temperature doesn't usually change too often here. Dad might be up to something."

Percy just nodded and then began to tell Skylet about Aquaman whom they both agreed to be awesome.

Later that evening the oddness of the day continued, Percy felt as if he were being watched. As he ate dinner that night the feeling got worse, he eveb excused himself from dinner early to go to his room and try to breathe.

He was freaking out, and he didn't even know why. He didn't even really know why. All he could do was lay on his bed and look up. Later on he heard a knock on his door and froze.

"Ye- yeah?"

"Percy? It is me, can you open the door?"

Percy went to the door and opened it for Khenemu and moved aside so the man could come in. Suddenly the coldness was gone and the eyes that seemed to be there vanished.

"Percy, are you alright? You were acting a bit strange at dinner."

Percy sighed and then explained, "I think so, but I don't know. I've been feeling weird, like earlier I felt like the water's temperature was dropping and then I felt like I was being watched."

Khenemu frowned, but nodded, "I think it might be best if you stayed in tomorrow, okay?"

"Okay, but why?" Percy trusted Khenemu and would do as he said regardless.

"I think it may be your father, he probably doesn't appreciate me keeping you."

"But you're not keeping me, I'm staying! I don't want to leave!"

"And I will not let them take you away. I promise you."

Percy nodded as Khenemu turned to leave. Percy fell on his bed and just looked out his window. What could his father want? Can't he see he's happy where he is?

The minute the door shut with Khenemu's exit the feelings returned cold water and being watched. Percy winced, there was no way he'd be able to sleep like this

One thing was for certain, he couldn't he stayed awake all night. He stared at everything around him and thought about his dad. Khenemu. Skylet. His mom. HIS MOM! She was going to kill him when he got back to her house. Wait her house? Where ever his mom was had always been home, never just a house. But when he thought of the sea, here lately that had changed. He felt this palace was his home, he was protected here, Khenemu wouldn't ever let anything happen to him and he'd go to the ends of the earth to protect his new family. And his old one wouldn't be able to do a thing to stop him. As far as he cared the Greeks could go skydiving without parachutes.

The next day he did exactly what Khenemu said, not once did he leave his room and all his meals were brought up to him. Skylet visited him later.

"Your dad, he can't make you leave can he? I don't want you to leave, you're my brother."

"My dad can't make me do anything, I won't go with them even if I'm dead."

He meant every last word, he'd rather his body sink to the bottom of the ocean than be forced to return to camp. Skylet was like his brother too, there was no way he'd leave him, they got along ao well and Percy had always wanted a brother. The coldness around Percy seemed to dissolve a few days later but the eyes. The eyes didn't even seem to blink.
