No time for an author's note! We've got to get Gym Battle to get to! But...we still have to do the disclaimer.
Disclaimer: I don't own anything, plain and simple.
I woke up groggily, "Five more minutes,"
"Agmno, wake up," I heard a female voice say. I muttured something like a long 'no', "Wake up!"
I looked to the other side of the room and saw Mystery awake and ready.
"Did you forget what today was?" Mystery said.
I was fully awake now, "What time is it?"
"Ten AM," Mystery said, "
"WHAT?" I asked, immediately getting out of bed, brushing my teeth, putting on my day clothes and at the same time eating toast, "We have to head to the Gym!"
Mystery was ready to calm me down with a little slap to the face, "Calm down, we have plenty of time,"
I was stunned by the slap, but I calmed down, "Okay, really hurt. But I'm calm now, thank you. Let's just walk to the Gym,"
We walked to the Gym and Erilia was there, she said she wanted to see me battle. I might have met her, but she's already a good friend.
"Glad to see you here," I said.
"Glad to see you too," Erilia said, "I hope you have a good battle,"
"Thanks," I said and walked to the challenger spot. I don't want the battle to go to fast, so I'll send Pidgey first.
"Seems that you made it," Misty said, "Let's start. Go, Staryu!"
A brown and gold starfish thing with a ruby in the middle of it was sent out.
"Go, Pidgey!" I said sending out the little bird.
Mystery looked at me thinking that I was going to choose Bulbasaur.
"I don't want the battle to end so quickly," I said. Misty must have heard, because she got a pretty mad because I offended her Pokémon.
"Staryu, use Water Pulse!" Misty said.
I need to think quick, umm, "Pidgey, dodge and use Quick Attack!"
Pidgey couldn't dodge the pulse of water that was fastly moving towards it, it had to go through. That's going to hurt it a bit. But Pidgey pulled through and flew straight towards it, knocking it to the wall.
Misty told her Staryu to use Recover, healing it's HP.
"Ugh, got to think," I thought, trying to find out what to do, "Pidgey, use Gust!"
Pidgey's Gust blew Staryu into the air, sturring it around and when it stopped Staryu was sent falling on the floating tiles for Pokémon that aren't Water Types.
"Now Pidgey, use Peck!" I said and Pidgey rocketed towards the defensless Staryu.
The Staryu was thrown like a ninja star and is now stuck in the roof.
"Now, use Quick attack again!" I said and my Pidgey flew towards the Staryu knocking it out.
"Staryu!" Misty said, grabbing it's Poké Ball and sent it back, "Go, Starmie!"
I said for Pidgey to use Quick Attack again, but Misty told her Starmie to use Swift. The Swift sent poor Pidgey flying and knocked it out cold. Looks like I'm going to use Bulbasaur.
"Bulbasaur, go!" I said sending it out, "Use Vine Whip!"
Bulbasaur's vines were whipped out and they hit Starmie multiple times, leaving it with a lot of scratches.
"Starmie, use Rapid Spin!" Misty said and her Starmie started spinning, well, rapidly towards Bulbasaur.
"Bulbasaur, use Leech Seed!" I said and Bulbasaur spit seeds out of its back onto the Starmie. Bulbasaur got some of its HP back then.
"Starmie, use Swift!" Misty said and her Starmie sent stars out of somewhere.
"Bulbasaur, use Vine Whip!" I said and Bulbasaur used Vine Whip once again and sent Starmie flying. It was knocked out!
"You-you beat me," Misty said, not believing that she lost.
"You forgot about Leech Seed after one turn?" I asked.
Misty heard my remark and glared daggers at me. She forgot about it and gave me the Cascade Badge, "You earned it, you now have two badges,"
"Thank you, and sorry about offending your Pokémon," I appologized.
"It's okay, your Pokémon beat mine. And I went easy on you," She winked.
"Oh yeah, then how about we have a rematch sometime?" I suggested and reached my hand out.
She looked at my hand and shook it, "Deal,"
Sorry, but that's it for this chapter. I've had a couple of medical problems today(don't worry, it's something genetic and happens all the time).
See you next time, I'll try to have the next chapter up next week! Bye!
