Everything was quiet that morning. Andros woke up early, and looked at his watch. He woke up an hour before his inner alarm rang. It was 5:30 am, an hour earlier than he used to wake up. He then looked at Ashley, still in her deep sleep, facing him, her arms and legs wrapped up around him.
He smiled at the image. She was all he ever wanted: strong, stubborn... But the most loving and beautiful girl ever. But his heart was aching. He then hated himself for taking that stupid job; she should've never listen to Zhane and and Karone. Hfelt like he was tricked by them, because they were livin peacefully and jobless backin KO-35.
But he just didn't wanted to leave Ashley like that; he knew she was going to suffer a lot once he was gone! He sighed as he stood from his bed and walked into his bathroom. He then headed downstairs to the kitchen to make breakfast.
It was nearly 6:35 AM when Ashley woke up. She felt so tired and sad when thoughts of yesterday's conversation with Andros came to her mind. She didn't realized that she had over slept and got up her bed hurrying to see where her husband was at, once she realized he was not in the room .When she was heading downstairs, she felt the smell of breakfast and she turned on her heels and went back to her bathroom and threw up.
'gosh, this is horrible! I feel terrible! Uggh! This flu is killing me!' she thought to herself.
When she felt Andros was entering their bedroom, she pulled out her best morning face and stepped out of the bathroom. She didn't wanted him to get worried over a stupid virus.
'Ash, breakfast is ready, princess!' He told her lovingly while placing a trail on top of their bed.
'Good morning sunshine' -she said while kissing his chin- I'm sorry I woke up so late'
'Don't worry, I know you weren't feeling good. As a matter of fact, I couldnt stop thinking about that throughout the whole night, among other things' He told her, without helping a guilty look to come across his face as Ashley's tears started to roll down her cheeks. He opened his mouth, but she stopped him.
'Andros... Is ok. I'm strong, our love is strong and I know we're going to be able to overcome this hard situation. I'm sad, I'm not going to lie! I know you're sad too but we do have responsibilities, and the universe is one of yours if not the main one'
She then hugged her fiance, then looked at those beautiful hazel eyes, now red because of tears wanting to scape, then caressed his cheek. He took her hand in his and kissed her fingers.
'Come on Ash. Let's have some breakfast' It was all that came out his lips.
Ashley surprisingly ate all her breakfast, considering the vomiting spree she had just a bit earlier. Andros looked at his watch and it was time for him to leave.
'Ash, remember you have to go to the doctor to see what's going on with you. you cannot let the flu to take you off guard ok?'
'Alright, alright! I'm going to schedule an appointment with the doctor today! I love you, and please drive safe, Andros... I don't want to be a widow even before i get married just because of your Need for Speed shit! -they both giggled- so I'll see you when you get home tonight, but please, dont forget to call me, ok?' She replied whilefixing his tie.
'I would not. I love you, give me one of those crazy chicken kisses of yours!' He said while pulling her closer and then drove off with nothing else on his mind that wasnt Ashley.
