Rin watched as the solider stood up at Inuyasha's signal, I was led out of the throne room and down a hall I looked at my surroundings and then saw him grab a something from in his pocket and smirked as he looked at Rin "Guard grab her she is walking to slow for my taste."
She felt herself being picked up and swung over his shoulder, Rin began kicking and whimpering thin hissed in pain. The two men with her both being of demon descent had fine hearing and heard this, Inuyasha stopped and walked around smiling holding the torch next to her "Oh does your throat hurt? Is that why you haven't talked?"
Rin glared at him and spit in his face, he stared at her wiping it off and chuckled "Do whatever the hell you want, it won't matter in the end. The down side is I won't hear you scream." He walked away and they went down another hall then past two more doors and he took his key and opened the door amazing Rin, not many doors in these times locked…
He walked in and sat the torch on a wall torch hanger, the whole room was stacked with boxes, he began to move the boxes forming a trail to the north west corner and then picked up a hug tossing it aside. The solider stood not far from Inuyasha and Rin looked over the soldier's shoulder to see what the dog eared mutt was doing, the man was removing five planks of wood and then walked past the soldier grabbing his torch.
Rin watched as Inuyasha winked at her she felt a shiver of ice cold wind going up her spine and then the soldier moved to the place in the floor with missing panels, Rin looked down the empty spot in the floor to see a the torching moving with Inuyasha walking down the spiral stair case. She took a breath as she was carried down the spiral stair case, 'Is this all underground?' The stairs seemed to go on forever and ever, Inuyasha looked at the soldier carrying her "Let's just make this quick and jump, we'll make it were half way there."
Before I had any time to think I felt my stomach go into my throat and I hugged close to the one carrying me making him chuckled as he looked at Inuyasha "Aw the little aggressive beauty is scared." The two men chuckled as I closed my eyes trying to picture a happy place, but nothing came to mind I couldn't picture anything that good to make me forget where I am right now.
I felt everything stop and my stomach felt better I opened my eyes to see we were on the ground I looked up and then around where I was. Inuyasha chuckled and smiled looking at me "Don't even think of escaping it would take a human like you a three hours to climb those stairs. We are really far down in a deep opening in the ground where our first ancestors lived before going to the surface, all demons used to live under ground and soon you'll know why…" I felt my skin crawl and then looked around some more the room was black and hard to see if it wasn't for the man called Inuyasha holding a torch she wouldn't be able to see anything, 'There's no way I can get loose now. If I tried I could get lost down here or I could only run up the stair back into that palace.'
They walked a while before a wall with a wooden door appeared Inuyasha used his key again and then all that was in the room was a giant purple curtain. Inuyasha set his torch on the far away wall torch holder and I looked at the curtain 'Why is this all that is in here?' The solider holding me set me down holding my hand cuffs for a minute and whispered in my ear 'Now be a nice meal,' I kicked him in the crotch and he fell to his knees and then pushed me to Inuyasha.
Inuyasha grabbed my shoulders and tossed me over his shoulder laughed "Man she got some fight in her it's too bad it won't help her." I smacked my cuffed hands on his back as hard as I could he pulled back the curtain to reveal jail bars so close to each other no human could squeeze through them.
Rin kicked and tried to fight even though she had no plan for if he did drop her, she looked over to what lied behind the jail bars is a unground paradise world. There was lush green grass, healthy tall trees, a visible creek a ways off, flowers, a blue sky with a sun… 'How can this be?' During her staring her struggle stopped and a voice broke her amazement with the weird world on the other side "Don't think too much about it, I give you no more than two days before you are dead."
Her eyes widened and her kicking resumed the solider picked up Inuyasha's key I heard hit the ground and he unlocked the metal bar door. Inuyasha walked over there with me kicking and scratching before I was thrown behind those bar I landed one good scratch on his cheek, after I was thrown in I the curtain was shut on me…. I turned around to look at this new and beautiful place.
Rin looked at the place and took a breath 'I'm living through this.' She took a breath and started walking she was really thankful she read that survival and nature scroll it would help now 'I won't die. No, not here.' She looked at the river and decided to follow it 'I need to stay close to water, so now I need to find a shelter.' Rin had thought about a tree, nothing could get her up there… but falling out of it was a probably not to mention her attire.
She followed the river the blue water made her happy this place looked like the places she wished to visit when she was younger it looked like a peaceful and beautiful happy place. Following the river proved to be a good idea it lead to a water fall and her eyes spotted a ledge on the side of the mountain that the water fall was on, it was about twenty feet off the ground good enough and it was a ways more towards the back of the water fall so it wasn't too loud.
Rin furrowed her brow 'Now to get up there….' She looked down at her yukata she was wearing four layers she was supposed to look like a princess, she smiled and looked up at the sky 'I'm glad I'm wearing all this stuff. She then tucked the bottom of her yukata layers in her obi exposing her legs but she didn't care about that all she cared for was getting to that ledge.
Taking a deep breath trying to conquer all her fears 'I might be trapped here in a cage, but its freer than I have ever been. I get to decide what to do, like I am going to climb this!' Choking back any other thoughts she took her first step as her hand felt for a hard sturdy spot, she then felt for another for her other hand and would haul herself up.
After finding a new spot her feet would take the old spots where her hands used to be she repeated this process until she made it to the ledge, she smiled 'I did it! I did it! Yay.' Rin smiled happy with her accomplishment and then turned around to look, she saw a few tree tops and a decent amount of the forest. If she had climbed the mountain she saw to the northeast it was so tall it reached into the sky, well then I would probably be able to reach it. She smiled as she closed her eyes and smiled "It's beautiful." She took a deep breath and climbed down she looked close by for sticks, she smiled and took out the ribbon in her hair and tied it around the sticks to hold them together tightly, she tossed the bundle over her shoulder as she held the end of the ribbon in her mouth as she climbed up to her ledge.
She wasted no time in stacking her sticks against the mountain that the ledge formed on, she then took off all her layers but two. She climbed down and walked toward the tall grass from where she had first entered, Rin thought of a plan and quickly took off her second layer which was pink and laid it on the ground. Then quickly piled the straw like grass in the second layer she laid down, after it was full she folded it so the stray wouldn't fall out. Tying the ribbon around it was the final part in keeping it all together, just as she had with the sticks she went up the ledge.
She was a busy little bee as the sun kept setting more and more, she had coated the outsides of the sticks with mud and straw to keep her house together and to have a roof on it. She laid down in the inside her hut, she took out all her pins and her ribbon and her extra layers. The extra three layers were her bedding, she curled one up into a pillow form and then the other two as blankets.
Thinking of her new found freedom she fell asleep quickly, and peacefully.
Very unknowing of the pair of big red eyes staring at her ledge through the darkness with a growl and then turned away walking into the darkness of night. The figure let out a low howl and then all the noise in the hidden world stopped, the crickets chirp no longer, the birds fluttering stopped and the pitter patter of nocturnal life was silenced. All except the red eyes and pats of the creatures footsteps on the cold night ground.
Rin smiled as the sun shone on her face warming it with the gentle touch that seemed foreign hidden in a mansion not allowed out. The sun was soon followed by a growl she smiled with a blush and looked at her stomach 'I guess I am hungry… then again I haven't eaten.' Looking at her belongings in the poorly made hut, she grabbed her hair pin and then grabbed her red ribbon.
She quickly climbed down the waterfall's mountain ledge, once her feet touched the ground she looked around and found a decent size stick. 'But was it strong enough?' That was a test she needed to do, she then started to bend it only to have it snap and make her whimper and drop her ribbon and hair pin.
The human girl stared at her finger with a frown and started to nibble 'Splinter? Why did it have to be a splinter!' Rin with her teeth ripped it out and spat it out on the ground, before long she picked up her pin and ribbon. She searched and search testing all sticks, but finally found a young tree branch that fell and it was sturdy and then tied her red ribbon around one end of the stick and then tugged 'Good and tight.'
She then took the pin which had a red flower on the end, she attached her ribbon to that end and again pulled tight 'Good.' Taking the pin she sighed and had to look around for a rock, she went to the edge of the river and found a rock. She struck the rock with another rock and then again, she make the pin slowly curve into a 'J' shape.
There was a rustle in the bushes an she jumped 'Ahhhh!' Then a little bunny hopped out, she smiled and let out a breath she didn't know she was holding in. Turning her attention back to the river she looked at her hand make fishing rod and hook 'I can do this!'
She walked over to her and smiled at the river before finding the perfect rock to rest her body as she sat down and threw the hook in the water and felt so happy. In no time she felt a nibble and jerk real hard and the hook let go quickly and she flew on her back hitting the dirt of the river bank and she heard a yelp, then felt the pole leave her hands.
