Hi guys! I'm sorry it took me so long to come out with this chapter. I'm attending university at the moment so things are really crazy and busy. And then i read this fanfic and i realized i didn't like the direction of it, so i'm taking some characters out and putting new ones from The Originals, if you don't mind. The story is still Kennett centered of course.
I haven't written in a long time so we'll see how this goes. If you like it, i'll keep writing it then!
I hope you have a great weekend!
I don't own The Vampire Diaries or The Originals.
Any mistake is mine.
Enjoy!

"It's done. I found her. She's in London."
When Kol was about to reply, Klaus came in with a really angry face, stating:
"I know who is the responsible for Caroline's kidnapping."
At the same time that they heard those words coming out of Klaus' mouth, everyone turned to him to acknowledge that precious information, feeling a huge thirst for revenge and vengeance.
"Who do we have to kill brother?" Kol suddenly asked, not wanting to waste another second with worthless clues that lead them nowhere.
Not capable of waiting for her brother's answer, Rebekah shouted angry at him, "Tell us now!"
Trying to sound calm as possible, Klaus finally gave them the answer they needed and hungered for, "Viktor"
Finally they heard a voice for the first time in that conversation coming from the fierce witch that held the location of Caroline "Who the hell is Viktor?"
Elijah step forward when he saw his perfect timing to interfere and clear the confusing minds about this strange man that turned their lifes into a nightmare.
"Viktor is a russian and powerful vampire. He used to be one of the most loyal followers of our father and always supported his hunting for us. I really thought he was dead but if he's still alive i wonder what his intentions are. And if it's really him i think we must prepare for a war because i'm sure he's not alone."
"Oh my god… and if he really has Caroline she's in great danger. How did you find out about him Klaus?" Bonnie asked the original vampire while still being confused about this new information that they had just learned.
"I managed to find a witness and put the pieces together when he said how they looked and operated and how they had a specific tattoo in the base of their necks, one cross like an X and one eye inside of a circle right in the middle of it, characteristic of Viktor followers after our father's death."
"We must get to London then and teach that bastard a lesson." Rebekah finally managed to say with tears of anger in her beautiful blue eyes that captured her innocence and strenght.
"No, sister, we are going to London but you are staying." Elijah said, fearing for her life.
Offended by her elder brother's words, Rebekah with a anger that was only getting bigger and bigger, shot at Elijah her stand in the matter "No way. We are family and we stick together in situations like this. Caroline is just like a sister for me so i'm helping and going to London. End of discussion."
"So when do we leave?" Bonnie asked the Original family.
"Tomorrow morning. Still need some things to take care of before we leave. I'm not going unprepared to London." Klaus answered the young witch and fastened his way to go deal with it.
"Let's go get Caroline, shall we?" Kol said with a mischievous smile in his face.
While preparing the things to take with them on the trip, Kol heard a knock on his room door.
"Can i come in?"
Hearing that sweet voice, he directs his gaze to the pretty brunete standing at his doorway with a book in her hand.
"Of course." He said while standing up and meeting her worried look.
Bonnie looked around and said in a nervous tone, "I wasn't sure if Emily was here or not… but then again i'm not sure what to do with this as well."
"Emily left. I sent her away. I just don't have the time when we have this serious problem in our hands."
Lost at words, Bonnie was only capable of murmuring a "Oh…"
"Is that…?" Kol suddenly said when he realized what she held in her delicated hands that always had the power to make him go crazy.
"Your mother's grimoire? Yes. Klaus gave it to me so i could look for a spell capable of killing Viktor for good."
"I'm just really surprised that my brother trusted you with that. But then again, desperate times calls for desperate mesures."
"Exactly. Esther was one of the most powerful witches in the world, if not the most powerful witch existing in the world, and I just feel so invasive of her studies and spells. But i know, i know that i must find something. I… I just thought you could give me a little help?" Bonnie asked the reckless original, unsure of what his answer would be.
"Yes, Esther was that powerful but she was also evil. If we are trusting you then you don't have to feel that way. However, you know that i'm never capable of saying no to that face. Come and seat with me, we have work to do."
After saying this, the Bennett witch made herself comfortable next to Kol, ready to look at the most desirable grimoire in the world. While Kol turned page after page, trying to find something, Bonnie could only think about how warm and safe she felt around him, how the mutual silence and understading could be felt in the air and how she still could feel that strong bond and connection that she and her body had for him. The young witch just kept wondering if he still felt the same way about her.
"This is useless. I can't find anything. She has spells for everything but for this, nothing. Back in the day she protected Viktor and his immortality with a great number of spells so it won't be easy to destroy him." Kol said, finally breaking the silence and with clear frustration on his face.
"I know. Let's just keep looking. It has to be something in there."
Turning away from the grimoire, Kol looked at Bonnie and said, "you know, you never told me why you left. It hurt."
Caught by surprised, she answered nervously, "Let's not have this conversation now. We need to think about Caroline and how to find a way to save her. We can worry about that later."
Frustrated by her words, Kol answered, trying to be calm at the same time, "You always get your way in ignoring this subject." Being sad about having these unresolved issues, he paused and continued, "You know, after you left, i did everything in my power to locate you and when I did I came to you."
Really shocked by his confession, the only thing she said was "What?"
"Yeah… But when i arrived and i saw how happy and indifferent you looked about everything, I knew that the "thing" we had didn't matter at all for you so I left. After all, you really showed how easy it was for you to leave Mystic Falls… and me."
"Don't you ever say that again. Leaving this all behind was the most difficult thing i had ever made." She answered with tears in her eyes, seeing the pain she caused him and how he was targetting her about this.
"So why did you leave?" Kol asked with honesty and sadness, a different side of his eyes that you could rarely see.
In that moment, Klaus came frantic through the door, asking if they had find something.
Clearing and washing her tears away, Bonnie recomposed herself, gave some distance between her and Kol and answered, "Not yet."
However, Kol intervened at the exact moment, "Actually… I think I found something. It's a really complicated spell but I believe that you can do it, Bennett."
"What is it?" She said while taking the grimoire away from his hands.
"It's a spell with the hability of undoing all the other spells. After you do this, we just need to kill him the old fashion way because he won't be longer protected by Esther's magic."
"Yeah I think it can work. It's a really powerful spell though."
With his hand, he caressed Bonnie's cheek, making her look deeply at him, and whispered, "I know you can do it.". In that moment, Bonnie felt a rush and a shiver down her spine, and just like that she believed his words. With him by her side, she could do anything and everything.
Having the spell, the bags, the weapons and the strenght ready, the Original family and Bonnie Bennett left the mansion and took a private jet to London.
During the trip, all that Klaus could think of was when he said "He is your first love, I intend to be your last." to Caroline, on her graduation day. He would make her sure of that promise. He wasn't going down without a fight. He would save Caroline. He wasn't alone.
Damon and Lexi made their way to the Mikaelson Mansion in hope of finding Rebekah and making her come to her senses. Finding a empty house and no sign of the powerful family, they knew it would be impossible to track her down now.
"Stefan, Rebekah left." Lexi said to her best friend, finding him next to a bottle of bourbon.
"What do you mean?"
"She left for good. There's no sign of the Mikaelson's."
"NO! It can't be possible. I don't believe it. After what we've been through, she wouldn't leave me like that." Stefan answered in a mix of anger and rage.
"Circunstances change, Stefan. Look what Mystic Falls have done to you. I think it's time to move on."
"What are you suggesting?"
"A fresh start somewhere new."
"I can't give up on Rebekah. I won't" Stefan said, trying to sound resonable and determined.
"How can you do that when she has already given up on you?"
With that argument and more, Lexi convinced the Salvatore brothers to leave Mystic Falls and start a new life.
Feeling the cold and fresh breeze hitting on her face, Rebekah remembered the times that she spent in London. The men were polite and gentleman and she knew that she fit just right in this city and environment.
Renting a discrete house, they settled in and Bonnie made the spell again to find the exact location of Caroline but unfortunately she couldn't detect anything. The young witch wasn't feeling so bright at the moment, feeling the weight of failure on her shoulders. However, Kol always made sure of remembering her how brave, strong, determined and powerful she was.
"Coming back home and finding Kol again wasn't that bad after all." She thought for herself, grateful and blessed for Kol's protection against Klaus' moments of rage and most of all, Kol's caring for her.
Interrupted by Klaus' words, Bonnie heard him say:
"I contacted some people that i know here and they were able to find me the location of a pub where Viktor's men always are. We must go there."
"What are we waiting for then?" Kol answered with his signature smirk, indicating he was ready for a good old fight with bloodshed.
Rebekah was the first to enter the old english pub. She knew who she needed to approach and what she needed to do.
Using her natural charm, Rebekah whispered seductively in the man's ear, stealing his drink and making all the liquid go down her throat.
"Drinking alone? I say we need to change that."
"Oh what a beauty. What is a innocent gorgeous girl doing so lost in a pub that smells like garbagge?"
"Just wandering around. Or maybe i'm just really bored. I can't decide myself these days."
"Maybe i can help you." The vampire said while getting up and extending his hand for her to take it.
"Maybe you should."
Making their way through the back of the pub, he forced himself against her but he was caught by surprise when the blonde vampire with all her magnificent strenght took him down, breaking bone by bone.
"You shouldn't believe everything you hear, you know? And most of all, you should always know who are you dealing with. Now, you're going to tell me where Caroline Forbes is or i can keep doing this to you. I got all day."
Suffering with all the pain and unable to free himself from Rebekah, he found the strenght to say, "I don't know any Caroline Forbes. You are mistaken."
"Rule number one, I'm never wrong. Second, I know that you work for Viktor and I also know that he has her. So, are you really going to be that dumb to defy me?"
With all his anger bottled up, he screamed and all his vampire friends came to take Rebekah down. "Why do they always have to scream and make this so much more complicated? Ugh" Rebekah thought to herself while getting ready for a balanced fight.
Seeing the scene, Klaus, Elijah, Kol and Bonnie knew that it was time to help her.
Ripping hearts off, breaking bones and heavy headaches everywhere they fought until no one was still putting up a fight against them. Suddenly Kol looked a tone disgusting vampire ready to hurt Bonnie and it was too late for him to do something. All he heard was her screams of pain because of the deep bite of the respective vampire.
Kol felt possessed for a big feeling of rush killing every enemy around him but not before taking information from one of them.
"Where is she?" he yelled at the vampire, ready to kill me.
"The boss took her to Russia. He has a mansion there. He was only here for 2 days to get supplies for the long journey." And with a fast reflex of his hand he took his cold heart and left him laying down in the street.
Running to Bonnie, he saw her deeply injured in the base of her neck and shoulder. She was full of tears and trying to resist the pain but failing at the same time.
"Don't you dare dying on me, Bennett." Kol answered in a desperated and hushed tone, holding her close to him in a warm embrace.
"I'm afraid that is what's going to happen." She said, smiling and hissing in pain. "Just save Caroline, please."
"No, I won't let it. We are going to save Caroline, together. Take my blood, it will cure you." He immediately said while getting ready to bite his own wrist.
"I thought you hated me, that you were still too mad at me for what i've done."
"Oh Bennett, I could never hate you even if I wanted to."
"But…"
"For fuck's sake, you're not dying today. Just take my damn blood." He finally said in a mix of anger and fear for her life.
She drank his blood and started to slowly heal. Having her in his arms, it felt right.
He couldn't admit it but the day Caroline called him saying that Bonnie was back in Mystic Falls he started to feel himself again, with sort of hope and a sense in his life again. He would be damned without her.
So, here's the new chapter. I made it a little bit longer, i hope that's okay, i had some things to compensate for my lack of writing.
Review please, so i can know what you think!
