Great. Vigo was back.
"Do you mind?" I asked, turning around to glare at the evil rabbit.
"What is that?" Hagrid asked, pointing his crossbow at the rabbit.
"A little tiny pain in the ass!" I huffed.
"Guys, seriously, just answer the question." Vigo sighed. "Where can I find the Dark Lord?"
"He's gone." Hagrid replied. "He's been gone for- what- twelve years..."
"Missed him." I added.
But Vigo seemed fairly unconcerned. "Alright." He muttered. "I can still do my evil plan. Just might be set back for a while.,." And then he ran off into the forest.
"What was that?" Asked the Pale Boy who had screamed earlier.
"My nemesis." I answered.
This caused everyone to start laughing. "Your nemesis is a rabbit?" Hagrid choked out.
"Look, it's not that funny." I said. "It's actually quite embarrassing. And a bit confusing too, since I honestly do not know what the evil plan really is."
This caused the pale boy to laugh harder, but all the others stopped laughing at once.
"We just got rid of one Dark Lord, we don't need another antagonist to take his place." Hagrid growled, and moved to go off into the forest.
"Wait!" I said. "This is a bigger problem than you think. He can go to different universes, and then-"
"I'm off. Fang, lead them back." Hagrid said, and then headed off into the forest. A huge black dog came out of the trees, and barked once.
Harry, the girl, and the two boys and I ended up following the dog all the way out of the forest, which I found to be a huge relief. We headed up to the castle, Hogwarts, and went inside, and the pale boy walked away from our group. I followed the group up to the Gryffindor common room, and since no one was sitting in any of the seats, I sat in one and fell asleep.
I woke up the next morning to someone shouting "CARA!"
My eyes shot open and I sat up quickly, and saw the familiar red head of Fred. "Fred!" I cried. "What are you doing here?"
"I live here, what are you doing here?" He asked.
"Is Lee okay?" I asked.
"What do you mean?" He asked me.
"The disaster... I think you would remember it." I said, and then as Fred shook his head it hit me that it might not have happened yet. For Fred, anyway.
"Nevermind." I said quickly. "I have to go."
"You only just showed up!" Fred pointed out.
"That's not entirely true." I said. "I was in the forest last night."
"Really? Did you meet the centaurs?" Fred asked.
"Yeah. They weren't very nice." I said, a little disappointed.
"That would be the fault of George and I." Fred told me. "And natural centaur nature."
I nodded, and then said, "I really have to go."
"At least stay long enough to have George turn Neville into a canary."
"Did I hear you right?" I asked. "A canary?"
"A canary." Fred repeated.
Needless to say, I couldn't miss it, so I stayed in the common room with Fred until people started to show up.
All of a sudden there was shouting, and a giant canary showed up in the classroom.
I used the distraction to sneak out of the room before I could get held back.
As I silently closed the portrait hole behind me, the fat lady in the painting asked, "where are you going? Who are you?"
I ignored her and sprinted off to find my way out of the castle.
I ran around trying to find a staircase down but couldn't find one. Finally, I reached an open corridor. On one side was a wall full of doors. On the other side was a railing and a view of the first floor.
There were no stairs nearby still, and I wanted to get out of that school before Fred could find me again, so I looked over the edge nervously, stood up on the railing, and prepared to jump off.
All of a sudden, someone behind me shouted, "YOU!"
I shock, I spun around to see the pale boy, and lost my balance.
My stomach, I think, was trying to kill me, and the floor was rising sickeningly fast- and suddenly it was gone.
In place of the floor was... Well, another floor. But it was ice cold and white. I looked up to see a rusty-looking ceiling, with odd circles on it and weird root-looking things.
Suddenly a man burst in with 3D glasses and a long suit. With him was a woman with red hair and an annoyed expression on her face.
I did the most reasonable thing I thought of at the moment. I screamed.
The man started screaming too, and I burst into laughter so hard it made my sides hurt.
"Wait." the screaming man suddenly said. "Cara! What are you doing here?"
"I don't know." I told him. "But how have you been, Doctor?"
"I have some very important news." the doctor told me. "I did some research on this kind of thing. You have to be careful how many times you jump universes, because if you jump too fast, universes will start to dissolve."
"Who is she?" the woman asked.
"This is Cara, who has the potential to be the biggest mass murder in existence." the doctor told the woman. "And Cara, this is Donna."
