AN:Ahhh the positivity is overwhelming and makes me so happy, as of now I am writing this, after a five hour rehearsal after school and I am ready to pass out but after reading the new reviews I felt like I needed to write this. I had a lot of requests for Emma and Robin to have a talk along with Daniel and Henry and maybe Regina finally forgiving Snow. A lot of things that I can't wait to write or already have plans for, so just wait. So here's a long awaited conversation between Emma and Robin.
(Wrote that like four days ago) and now just yesterday I put on two shows (each two and half hours long) and I have another show today plus cast party, as well as a 13 hour drive right after, just arriving to my family's house on Christmas Eve. So a lot going on and I've been so stressed out lately but fanfiction has always been my escape so I needed to get this out.
Emma walks down the forest floor, she was on high alert, Regina had called her just a few hours ago about something or someone passing through Storybrooke. The blonde thought back to the conversation they had over the phone.
She seemed nicer, less cold to her, even called her by her first name which had her jaw on the floor. But then she thought about what Tinkerbell had said, because of her someone was going to live without a happy ending. Robin or Daniel.
She jumps when she hear feels a rush on wind past her and land in a tree inches away from her face. It was an arrow. Emma tried not to swallow her guilt, knowing who was about to appear from the bushes. Robin.
"Sorry, I thought you were some sort of beast. Oh Emma." His voice, she noticed was cold and distant. And it oddly remind her of Regina. Withdrawn from the world, just balancing on the edge of life and death. He was alive but barely surviving.
His eyes were a dull blue and his face looked pale. God. She was the cause of that. "Hi, Robin, didn't see you there"
She lets out a nervous laugh, he just throws her the meanest glare he can muster. She finches and holds her hands up in a sign of peace. "What do you want Emma?"
"Nothing, sent out by Regina to-" She stops when she sees his face just at the mention of her name. He looked absolutely heartbroken. It hurt her heart just to look at him. "To find some person who is in Storybrooke, but because your here..I think we should talk"
"What about? Because of you I lost my only chance at a happy ending" he says bitterly. Emma looks down for a moment "That's not true, your her soulmate, you still have a chance"
"That's true, she is my soulmate, my soulmate's dead fiance you brought back. I lost a fighting chance the moment he walked into that dinner. I lost her, because of you" He's screaming at her, words are slurring together and Emma is finding it hard to understand what he's saying. It's desparte, choked and filled with tears. But she knows what he means.
She had took is happy ending and gave it to someone else, he couldn't forgive her for that, she wouldn't even forgive herself. So she tells him the only thing that made the situation a bit better. "Daniel didn't deserve to die, he deserved a second chance"
It was weak, barely holding itself together by a thread, and Robin just laughs coldly "Marian didn't deserve to die, Neal didn't deserve to die, death isn't fair. He didn't get a second chance for a reason. And that reason being that I am Regina's second chance. Well I was. I'm not anymore thanks to you"
Emma looks down, just wishing the guilt would swallow her whole "I didn't know you guys were together"
Robin doesn't say anything and leaves, he didn't want to talk to her. He was still nursing his broken heart, and right now he couldn't care less who's feeling he hurt. She deserved it. But stops hearing Emma's voice "He wants to meet you
Robin knew who she was talking about, they should talk. Meet the man who was taking away his soulmate.
The Charming clan and whatever Regina, Robin and Daniel were, all stood around the Charming's dinner table looking at Henry's story book. "Her names Elsa, she's looking for her sister...Anna"
"Anna? I've met her" David says "She's engaged to Kristoff, he was my friend, live in Arendell, came to our wedding but never came back after the threat of the dark curse" His eyes dart to the side to look at the reformed Evil Queen.
"Seriously? Do you have to look at me like that?" She spits out, her arms crossed over her chest. David raises an eyebrow "Like what? Like a look of you cursed all of the Enchanted Forest because a little girl couldn't keep a secret"
He was provoking her and she knowingly took the bait. But how could she not? He had shoved salt into a gash that never fully healed. "That secret got my fiance killed" She says, glaring at Snow.
"Regina, love, calm down. I'm here" Daniel says, trying to soothe her, dragging her a few feet away from where the group huddled. He was suprised at how vicious she was, no trace of the kind, carefree girl he met all those years ago. He places a light kiss on her hairline.
She just nods before wrapping her arms around his neck, his arms going around her waist automatically. She buries her face in his neck, taking in the scent of him. Letting a few tears drip down, knowing that no one could see them. She was aware that multiple eyes were on her, on the rare sign affection she gave to anyone besides Henry.
After few moments longer than Regina would have like she draws away from him "I don't think I can let that go, I still went years without you, I still saw my mother crush your heart. In my mind you're still dead"
"I know darling, but I'm here and I'm okay. Don't blame her for my death. For me?" he pleads with her, his hand sliding up and down her waist. She signs but nods. She really would do anything for him, even if it meant letting go of the anger and hatred she had for Snow, for years go.
He gives her a lingering kiss on her cheek, murmuring a soft "I love you"
She nods saying it back, because it was true. She wasn't sure what she felt for Robin but she has always known her love for Daniel was true. It was something that hadn't changed.
They walk back to the group, his arm around her waist. "David, I would appreciate if you didn't provoke Regina, my death changed her and you don't need to constantly remind her of who she was, she's not her anymore" His voice is still kind but with a bit of a bite that surprises Regina. She looks at him.
"I regret not standing up to your mother, I won't let anyone hurt you" he promises.
Watching her interact with Daniel was, is torture for him. Not being the one to comfort her or hold her in his arms. Or kiss her cheek, brush her hair behind her ear, all the little signs of affection.
All the things he wanted to do to her, it wasn't fair but when was it ever?
AN: I'M SORRY! I thought and planned on updating earlier but like I mentioned quite a few times I'm in a show right now so updating has been super hard. I had started a few chapters but never finished them. This ends on kind of a weird note but I really wanted to get this out. And now Elsa is involved na dou know what that means! Anyway I super excited to see where this goes! Love you all and happy holidays! I will try to update probably on Christmas and afterwards! Hope you enjoyed.
xoxo
