A/N:
Hi everybody. It's good to be back and we're almost to the end of our tale. I'm not sure if I should be sad or happy. I choose to be happy because I have other ideas that I'm looking forward to starting. Sorry it's been a while, but I've been pretty busy with my senior year plus, the lack of reviews on my last chapter left me a little unmotivated (I think that's a word,) but a friend of mine told me that the best way to get more reviews, was to post more. So here we go. This is the last chapter of the story, but stay tuned for the special bonus chapter!
Lastly, I would to dedicate this chapter to Tacosaurus for giving me the idea for this to build off of. Well, enough rambling…on with the show!
Phineas and the gang were searching around the mall for the third time. Phineas studied his Cuteness Meter carefully.
"Any sign of them?' asked Isabella.
"According to this, they should be around here somewhere," he replied examining the screen. "Everyone keep your eyes open."
The Cuteness Meter began to beep and vibrate ferociously. Phineas dropped it in surprise. It fell to the ground and began to spark.
"Phineas," Isabella said in a small voice as she hid behind the aforementioned boy. "I thought you had it set for my cuteness."
"I-I did," he said. "I'm not sure what's going on."
"Hey Phineas," came a voice from behind him "There you are."
Phineas turned around and was face to face with Yakko.
"Yakko," they all said excitedly.
"Where'd you go?" asked Buford.
"We were so worried," Isabella added.
"Yes," Baljeet said. "We thought you had been kidnapped, too. We have been searching for you and your siblings all afternoon."
"Oh," Yakko said. "I found them myself."
"You did?" Phineas asked. "Where are they?"
Yakko cleared his throat.
"Children of Danville, who I hardly know at all, I present to you the Warners. I'm Yakko, as you already know, this is Wakko—"
Wakko shot up next to his big brother and gave a large smile with his tongue hanging out the side of his mouth.
"And…Princess Angelina Contessa Louisa Francesca Banana Fanna Bobesca the Third," Yakko spread his arms out wide in a grand gesture. He then whispered, "But you can call her dot."
Dot leapt to the other side of Yakko and batted her eyes. The Cuteness Meter shot out one last round of sparks before finally exploding. Fortunately, they were all able to barely escape the explosion.
"I don't get it," Phineas said in confusion. "I programmed it to withstand Isabella's cuteness. How could it have broken?"
"I told you," Yakko said. "Dot is really cute."
"Excuse me?" cried Isabella incredulously. "There is no way that she is cuter than me."
"Oh dream on sister," Dot said. "My cuteness can cause permanent damage to your mental health if you are exposed to it for too long. Just look at my brothers."
Yakko and Wakko were bouncing around and fiddling with their lips.
"Well," Isabella said. "I managed to out-cute an alien overlord full of Cutonium."
"Okay guys," Phineas said. "There's only one way to decide this."
"Skiddly Whiffers?" Buford suggested.
"No," Phineas said. "We'll have a competition and broadcast it worldwide over the internet. Our judges will decide in the end."
"I get it," Yakko said excitedly. "The Adorable-lympics. Survival of the Cutest."
"Sounds kind of dumb to me," Wakko said.
"Just play along," Yakko whispered. "The sooner we get this done, the sooner we can move on to something else."
"Okay!"
"Uhhhh…As I was saying," Yakko continued. "Survival of the Cutest. Only one can live!"
He cut off in a fit of maniacal laughter while everyone stared.
"Maybe not so extreme," Phineas said nervously. "How about only one can win?"
"Well yeah I guess," Yakko said disappointed. "If you don't want an exciting death match.
"Yakko and I can be the hosts," Phineas continued. "Ferb can be Isabella's coach and Wakko can be Dot's coach."
"We don't need coaches," the two girls shouted.
"Don't worry," he said. "They're just there to keep your minds on track and make sure you have everything you need."
"Fine," Dot said. "But I want Ferb. He seems so mysterious."
She jumped into his arms and gave him a kiss. Ferb looked pleadingly at his stepbrother.
"Hmm," Yakko said. "Not much of a talker is he?"
"I like the silent type," Dot swooned.
"Sorry," Ferb finally said. "There's someone else
Ferb turned and sighed as he pulled out a picture. Wakko grabbed it and showed it to his siblings.
"That's Vanessa," Yakko said excitedly.
"Wow," Wakko said drooling. "Where'd you get that?"
"The author gave it to me," Ferb replied. "She said I'd need it for a prop."
"That's probably not the only thing he's been doing with that picture," Dot said.
"Goodnight everybody," Yakko said blowing a kiss.
"You can't leave yet," Phineas said. "We still have to have the competition."
Yakko simply sighed and shook his head.
Finally, Wakko and Ferb took Dot and Isabella for their preparations while the others were setting up the equipment.
"Hey," Yakko said as he attached a camera to a small helicopter. "Aren't you a little young to have all this complicated equipment?"
"Yes," Phineas said as he attached a spotlight to the bottom of the helicopter. "Yes I am."
"Good!"
A couple hours later, the show was ready to begin. Thankfully, Candace and Jeremy's concert had been conveniently canceled so they were free to be judges along with Baljeet while Buford worked the cameras. Phineas and Yakko stood behind the curtain of a large stage and were adjusting the bow ties on their tuxes.
"Are you ready?" Phineas asked.
"You bet," he replied.
Phineas waved a hand through the curtain to signal Buford to start.
"Live from Danville," said a deep voice that came from nowhere. "It's the Battle of the Cute. And here are your hosts, Phineas Flynn and Yakko Warner!"
"Good evening," Phineas said. "And welcome to the Battle of the Cute. Before we meet our contestants, Yakko will explain the rules."
"Tonight's competition will be divided into three sections," Yakko said. "Talent, swimsuit, and Q&A. The scores will be tallied by our panel of judges and they will decide a winner."
"Now let's get to the contestants," Phineas said. "First, we have Danville's own Isabella Garcia Shapiro!"
Isabella strutted onto the stage and blew a kiss to the random crowd that had showed up.
"And here's our challenger," Yakko said. "From beautiful Burbank, California, it's Princess Angelina Contessa Louisa Francesca Banana Fanna Bobesca the Third!"
Dot pranced out from behind the curtains and grabbed the microphone from her brother.
"But you can call me Dot," she said sweetly.
"While the girls get ready for the talent portion," Phineas said. "Let's meet our judges."
Yakko walked over to the judges table and stood in front of Jeremy.
"So Jeremy," he said. "Do you mind if I call you Jeremy?"
"Uh yeah," he said.
"Do you mind if I call you Bobo?"
"Just Jeremy."
Yakko moved on to Candace.
"So sweet cheeks," he said. "What brings you to these parts on this fine evening?"
She shot a quick glance at Jeremy before answering.
"Well our plans got canceled and I thought we could help my dear brothers."
Yakko shrugged and walked to Baljeet.
"So Ball Geek—" Yakko began.
"Baljeet," the boy cut him off.
Yakko ignored him.
"What inspired you to become a judge?"
"Buford's fist."
Buford laughed.
"Fair enough," he walked back to the center of the stage next to Phineas.
"First up for the talent portion is Isabella," Phineas announced.
Isabella came out followed by Ferb who was carrying a portable stereo.. Ferb pressed a button on the stereo and a catchy beat played as Isabella danced. When she finished, the crowd cheered and whistled. Candace and Baljeet both held up 8s while Jeremy held up a 9.
"Wow," Phineas said. "That gives Isabella a starting score of 25."
"I gotta tell you Phineas," Yakko said. "I haven't seen moves like since Betty White did the Harlem Shake."
"Well let's see if Dot can put up a good fight."
Dot came out followed by Wakko pushing a piano. He sat down at it and set a sheet of music on the stand.
"You'd better not ruin this song like last time," Dot threatened. "I'd hate to have to sell your Don Knots videos on eBay."
Wakko gasped in horror as she walked back to the center of the stage. Together, the two performed the famous "I'm Cute" song with Wakko performing the backups by himself. The crowd cheered. Baljeet held up an 8, Jeremy a 7 and Candace a 6.
Dot threw the piano at her. She ducked and flipped the sign upside down to show a 9. The two siblings walked off stage.
"Wow," Phineas said. "That Dottie sure has a feisty personality."
Yakko pushed him out of the way as a flaming piano bench cam hurtling toward him. It soared out of sight.
"Yeah," Yakko said. "Just call her Dot. If you call her Dottie, you will die."
"Good to know," Phineas said. "Well, with Isabella ahead by one point, it's on to the swimsuit portion."
Isabella walked out in a red two piece. The judges all held up 9s. Then, Dot came out wearing a pink two piece with a frilly skirt bottom and a flowery pink swim cap. The male judges held up 9s while Candace nervously held up a 10.
"Well it looks like the scores are tied making the last two competitions completely useless," Yakko said.
"Yes and while our contestants prepare for the last portion, here is Love Handel," Phineas stepped aside as the band set up their instruments. Yakko handed a few pieces of paper to Danny.
"What's this?" Danny asked.
"Your music and lyrics."
"We can't sing this song it's out of date and—"
"And now," Yakko interrupted. "Love Handel presents The Nations of the World!"
The band members shrugged and sang through the song. They did a pretty decent job considering they'd never rehearsed it.
"And now our last portion," Phineas said. "Q&A!"
Isabella and Dot walked out and stood side by side. Yakko walked up to Isabella.
"Isabella," he said. "If crowned the cutest, what will you do?"
"I will continue to spread my cuteness throughout the world," she said.
The judges held up 10s except for Baljeet who looked unimpressed as he held up a 9.
"Dot," Yakko said as he moved to his sister. "Same question. What will you do if crowned the cutest?"
"Well," Dot said. "I'll just go home and write about it in my diary and draw a picture of me and Ferb together."
She blushed and giggled. The judges all held up 10s.
"So," Phineas said. "That means the winner is…Dot with a final score of 82-81!"
Yakko placed a tiara on Dot's head and handed her a bouquet of roses while the crowd cheered.
"You love me," Dot cried. "You really love me!"
"Congratulations," Isabella said somewhat sadly as he held her hand out. "You deserve it."
"Thanks," Dot said shaking Isabella's hand. "And don't worry. You can still be the cutest girl in the tri-state area!"
"Well," Phineas said.
He and Yakko blew a kiss to the audience.
"Goodnight everybody," they shouted together.
Buford shut the camera off and joined the others back stage.
"Great show guys," he said.
"Thanks for an awesome day," Yakko said to Phineas.
"Yeah," Wakko said. "It was faboo."
"Oh no problem," Phineas replied. "And Ferb and I whipped up a little gift for you."
He handed Yakko a wrapped box with a bow on it. Yakko opened it excitedly as his siblings crowded around to watch. He pulled out the zero gravity paddleball and looked at it questioningly.
"It's a paddleball that can operate without a string," Phineas explained.
"And it glows in the dark," Ferb added.
The Warners gasped in amazement.
"This is the best paddleball related gift I've ever received," Yakko exclaimed.
"Hey," Candace said. "Mom should be here soon. You should stay and meet her."
"Sounds good to me," Yakko said. "What do you guys think?"
Wakko and Dot nodded.
"Great, I think I hear her pulling up," she ran off laughing deviously.
"She'll be right back," Phineas said.
Suddenly, they heard a whistle.
"Hey you," called a voice.
"Yipe," the Warners cried.
"What is it?" Isabella asked.
"It's Ralph," Yakko said. "We gotta run. Talk to you soon." He dashed off.
"It was nice meeting you," Dot said as she followed after her brother.
"Give our regards to Perry," said Wakko as he disappeared.
"That was weird," Phineas said after the fat security guard had passed.
Candace ran, dragging their mom with her.
"See Mom?" she asked as they arrived at the others. "There they are."
"Hey kids," their mom said.
"B-b-but," Candace stammered as she realize the Warners were gone. "Oh forget it."
They suddenly heard a familiar chattering as Perry walked up.
"Oh," Phineas said. "There you are Perry."
'The Warners send you their regards," Buford added.
"You kids wanna come over for some pie?" their mom asked.
They all replied with their own forms of acceptance and headed to the Flynn-Fletcher household for the delicious pastry.
Meanwhile, the Warners had been chased back to their water tower and were settling down for a good night's sleep.
"Goodnight Wakko," Yakko said. "Goodnight Dot."
"Goodnight Yakko," Dot replied. "Goodnight Wakko."
"Goodnight Dot," Wakko said. "Goodnight Yakko."
"Goodnight Scratchy," They all said in unison.
"Let me out," Dr. Scratchansniff demanded. "I have appointments tomorrow!"
Thanks for reading and please review. Today's verse is Jeremiah 29:11. It's a really good one. Please stay tuned for the bonus chapter because I still owe the Warners a musical number!
