Bramblestar's eyes widened. "Then these kits will have a place in this Clan. Hollyleaf was a fine warrior, and-"He choked on his words. "- A-and daughter." He gazed quietly, absorbed in the way Brightkit lapped at Swiftkit's fur and how Robinkit wrapped around them to keep them warm. Bramblestar's gaze softened and he gave a small smile. "I can see Hollyleaf's spirit in these kits." He rumbled, mostly to himself.

He turned around, bunched his muscles, and leaped onto the Highledge, and bellowed, "MAY ALL CATS OLD ENOUGH TO CATCH THEIR OWN PREY, GATHER BENEATH THE HIGHLEDGE FOR A CLAN MEETING!"Immediately after, cats started pouring from their dens into the frigid snow. When all of the Clan was present, Bramblestar began.

"Lionblaze and Jayfeather, upon paying their last respects to Hollyleaf, they entered the tunnels and discovered three kits." Murmurs broke out amongst the cats. "And, it just so happens, that these kits are the kits of Hollyleaf." Angry and mournful yowls sounded at the mention of the fallen Warrior. "Poor kits!" Squirrelflight yelped, bounding over to lap at their pelts, which they gladly accepted.

"You smell like mother "Swiftkit murmured, nudging her muzzle deeper into Squirrelflight's orange pelt. The she-cat dipped her head to nuzzle the kits. "And-"Bramblestar continued, "I would like them to join ThunderClan, as apprentices."

Shock rippled through the camp. Bramblestar lifted his head. "Robinkit, Swiftkit, and Brightkit, step forward." All three kits did as told, and stood forward, strait and tall, all in a line. "Kits, do you promise to uphold the Warrior Code and to protect and defend your Clan?"

"I do"

"I do"

"I do not."

Bramblestar's ears swiveled forward and he gasped, followed by the entire Clan. It seemed like even the trees had stopped waving and the snow had stopped falling.

Absolute silence.
