Hi guys! I'm sorry I left you on a hiatus for almost a year, yeah… not even gonna defend myself. Anyway,
I want to thank queen siege and jayz1718 for following this story, and EXTRA Thanks for marlilsis, Aurielleeee, Detective Otaku 1412, Shabondy, Twilight Dark Angel, AzureChan, .1, DeathlyIceMaiden, and Gisolei for following and favoriting this story and my profile! It's like I just received an extra package! :D
jayz1718: Yeah about that, the soldiers Farah fought and the one capturing Mikage are different so… As I wrote in the previous chapter, my stories have a lot of cliffy, so it's only natural I make it like that JOh about the grammar… Sorry, but I'm still 12 (in my defense I'm going to reach 13 soon). But I'll try fixing it! Thanks, I'll try making more fluff in this story :)
Disclaimer: I do not own 07-Ghost. Yuki Amemiya and Yukino Ichihara own it.
"Mikage."
Farah stares at the tied up-blonde with wide eyes and her mouth agape, her hands are balled up tighter than before, making blood dripping down from her palm. Then her eyes are narrowed, her mouth set up in a thin line and her eyebrows furrowed in anger.
"Quite a sight isn't it?" her eyes snap toward the white-haired man, fury and hate visible in her black obsidian eyes. "It's seems your sacrifice isn't enough to safe your friends."
"Where's Teito?" Farah asks, her voice dropping quite low.
"Teito Klein managed to escape with a Hawkzile," Ayanami says, seeing a little hope and relief flickered in the white-haired girl's eyes. Too bad it's going to get crushed. "But I won't guarantee he's un-wounded."
"You know if my movements aren't constricted I'll try kicking you?" Farah answers to his information, causing Ayanami's eyebrow to rise slightly in mock amusement. Most people threatened they would kill or annihilate him if they're in her position, like that Teito Klein boy. Only then does the man realize something, despite what her eyes are showing, she doesn't hate him to the point where she would kill him any given moment. Knowing her not-fueled-enough hatred after all the events amuses him in a twisted amazement.
"Is that a threat?"
"I kicked one of your soldiers, why don't you ask him?"
A small laugh escapes Hyuuga at this amusing… conversation. Though, she shouldn't have said that with him and Konatsu around. People know how loyal they are to Ayanami. They would cut off her limb before it can even touch the man.
Farah glares slightly at Hyuuga before turning back to Ayanami. "What exactly are you planning?" she asks with a quiet voice. "You know we won't do whatever you want us to, and we won't betray each other. So why do you want to make a deal?"
"The deal doesn't involve these troublesome events," Ayanami answers. "But it involves the dreams you recently had."
Farah reaction was immediate, she tenses with eyes widen in shock. "How did you-"
"You know the answer. I believe you're not that stupid."
Farah bits her lower lip and start brainstorming about what he meant as she recalls all of her dreams. 'What did he meant? I don't even know who those people are!'
She thought about it furiously for minutes and then something finally clicked.
"You're that cloaked-guy!" Farah exclaims in surprise and sub-consciously points a finger at Ayanami. "That means you're that girl's father…"
From behind her she could hear Konatsu gasps in surprise and Hyuuga whistles lowly.
"I never knew you're busy, Aya-tan." The childish black-haired man says teasingly, ignoring the glare he soon receives.
"But that's impossible." Farah gasps out, obviously ignoring Hyuuga's (suicidal) comment. If Ayanami's supposed to be that man and she's supposed to be that girl, then... No, no way. That is twisted! The simple thought of Ayanami as her father-even in their previous lives- makes her stomach churns.
"Have you heard of the 07-Ghost?" Ayanami asks out of the blue, snapping Farah out of her thoughts. She nods slowly, remembering the stories of seven heavenly beings she was told when she was a child.
"Are you going to say all of it is real now?" Farah asks weakly, silently hoping he wouldn't say yes. Her wish came true, but the silence clearly screams out the un-wanted answer to her question.
"Okay, let's just say I believe you, then why am I experiencing all of this?" She asks again, her voice sounded shaky and she looks like she could faint any given moment now.
"Isn't it obvious?" Ayanami asks slowly. Then he walks toward her slowly until he's right in front of her and lean his head down to her ear level. "You are the daughter of Verloren and Eve."
And that is the moment when Farah lost it and finally loses her consciousness.
-Meanwhile, in District 7-
Teito slowly wakes up when he heard a voice yelled and another voice, more cautious this time, warning the owner of the voice. When his eyes open, the first thing that comes into his view is the face of a blonde-haired man with blue eyes looking up from above him.
The brunette narrows his eyes at the stranger and within a second he already leaps toward the window after kicking the unknown man he thought as his captor. But as soon as he did so, a hand quickly hold his collar, preventing him from his un-noticed doom.
"I swear, I never seen someone with so much energy try commiting suicide before!" A voice said.
Slowly, he opens his eyes. His vision blurred for a moment before clearing. He struggled as he realized he's hanging a few floors above the ground.
"Let go of me!"
As he continue to struggle another hand reaches up and pulls him up. The sound of a foot landing on someone's head could be heard as he's being raised by his arms.
"Is it fun for you to tease such a small child?" The man raising him up asked below, his glasses gleaming in the light.
"You got it wrong." Another man with blonde hair said, as the man's foot still resting on his head.
"Why're you helping me?" Teito asked the former, slightly suspicious.
"Because this is a church." The man answered with a smile.
"A church?"
"Exactly." The man said, starting to explain. "This is the Barsburg Church, located in the Barsburg Empire's 7th District."
"Well, I guess you could say we're something like clergymen!" The blonde one said, almost smug, causing Teito to look at him in something akin to disbelief.
"My name is Castor." The auburn-haired one introduced with a closed-eye smile.
"I'm Labrador." The white haired one smiles.
"And this scary looking guy is Frau." Castor said, turning to the blonde.
"I carried you all the way here, so you better be grateful, ya damned brat!" Frau exclaimed.
"Are you a member of the Empire's Army?" He asked, definitely not thinking the outburst he'll received.
"I'm not with those bastards!" Frau looks taken aback as Teito yelled, slightly startled.
"We saw the brand on your back. You're a sklave aren't you?" Castor asked. "What's your name?"
It didn't take long for them to understand that he's not answering.
"You don't have to tell us if you don't want to." He said, catching Teito off guard. "That's the kind of place this is."
The teen watch the three men in front of him. Confused, surprised, hesitation and suspicious all rolled into one as they smile at him.
"I woulda let you back there if you were part of the Empire's Army." Frau said as an after-thought before heading out of the room.
"You should try to get some rest." Castor advised before he and Labrador head out too.
"Oh, right." He said as if just remembering something important. Turning around to face the brunette. "I suggest you stay here if you want to survive."
As he's about to turn around, he notices a long, transparent, aura-made red string tied into his pinky finger. The string continues outside and probably stretches far, and it catches his attention. It doesn't look like a normal person in this world could have make.
He eyes it suspiciously one more time before turning around. No matter, he would find out about it later.
For now, the boy needs rest.
Done! Sorry if it's short (and somewhat crappy), especially after those months but it's the best I can do right now!
Next chapter in progress!
