Chapter 8 - Admirers

Temari woke up after a couple hours of sleep; she then looked at her roommate, Mindy, who was still soundly asleep. The ninja girl, as part of her training, could work perfectly fine with just two or three hours a day, at least during missions (the rest of the time she slept normally), so she was now ready for some patrolling. Temari left the room in complete silence, barely opening the door before closing it again, all this taking just a couple of seconds, so Mindy didn't notice her leaving.

"Nice exit."

Temari grinned when looking at Blitz, who was already outside of the room.

"Yes, not easy to do the 'stealthy exit' when your roommate is a fellow Cano-Sapien." Temari admitted. "Well, technically, she's a human girl turned into a Cano-Sapien, but you get my point."

"Yeah, the whole 'canine hearing' thing." Blitz chuckled slightly. "After all, there's a reason humans have watchdogs… I should know, I was one of them. And it seems I'll do the job again, just protecting our friends and a valuable artifact instead of used cars."

"Things change. Okay, we can start." Temari, now feeling a bit awkward, decided to drop the conversation and focus on the work, knowing she and Blitz would stay silent while patrolling, and she still didn't feel comfortable about admitting her feelings.

Blitz did his best to focus on the mission, but still caught some glances of Temari as they patrolled the building, and later when they left to patrol at the surrounding streets. Blitz told himself that he still could 'multi-task' and give Temari an occasional watch while they continued working, but he still didn't want to be too obvious. Despite what Colleen told him, the doberman wasn't still completely sure about Temari liking him back.

"After all, it's possible that Colleen mis-read some of Temari's body language, and she's just willingly thinking that the both of us will become a couple." Blitz thought right before Temari jumped from a rooftop to another, catching a glimpse of her elegant, feminine figure illuminated by the moonlight. "Not that I wouldn't want it either."

After patrolling for around an hour, Blitz and Temari returned to the safe house's rooftop, and then they both used their Cloning Jutsu to create some 'extra watchers'; Blitz created four while Temari, due to still being a ninja in training, created only a pair. Blitz and Temari then sent the clones around the building for some extra patrolling, plus, in case there was any intruder searching in the area, this would give the impression of the heroes having a very large group of ninjas for back-up; hopefully, the clones wouldn't need to fight anyone, since, without Blitz and Temari being close to them while working, the clones' fighting skills and resistance to impacts would be severely diminished.

While the clones searched around, Temari and Blitz stayed on the rooftop, waiting for their 'team' to get back. In the meantime, the doberman thought about talking with her, but then remembered they were still on a mission and they had to be completely silent. Temari almost forgot about this rule herself but stopped right on time… yet still caught a glimpse of Blitz watching over the adjacent streets.

"Calm down, Temari… don't think about how handsome and strong he looks when he's on duty… Aaaand now I thought about it, it's gonna be even harder to ignore it. Well done." Temari mentally kicked herself.

The duo was secretly relieved when the clones returned, Blitz and Temari re-absorbing them once the clones reported there was… nothing to report.

"If there's no news, it's good news." Blitz half-joked before groaning slightly. "Great, now I'm making Hunter-like jokes."

"Well, it's still true." Temari grinned before reabsorbing her clones.

Blitz and Temari then silently dashed back to the safe-house, again, doing it so quickly that nobody would have imagined that there were two ninja anthro canines on the rooftop until three seconds ago.

"Well, I think that went well. Want to eat something before getting back to our rooms?" Blitz said to Temari as they walked next to the kitchen.

"Sure; I wouldn't mind a light snack." Temari smiled. Using some jutsus required a lot of energy, and even if they just had a very good dinner a few hours ago, both ninjas were feeling hungry again.

Blitz took some milk, cheese and sausages out of the kitchen, and joined Temari in the living room.

"Mmm… this cheese is good. Want some?" Blitz offered.

"Sure, thanks." Temari smiled while Blitz pretty much fed her right in the mouth. The ninja female replied by offering him a sausage, mouth-feeding him as well. Before realizing it, they were now playfully feeding each other the whole meal, even laughing a bit at the situation.

"My, if someone saw us right now, they'd think we're a… couple or something." Blitz chuckled before blushing a bit, realizing how that sounded.

"Yes… a… couple." Temari blushed as well while holding the last sausage. "Eh… want to, you know…"

"Heh, catch the last one? Sure, why not? We hadn't done that in ages." Blitz smiled. It was a common game among the ninja trainees; one of them would throw up a piece of food (usually a fruit or a slice of bread), and then they'd both try to catch it in mid-air. Due to their long muzzles, and being, well, canines, Blitz and Temari always caught the food with their mouths instead of their hands, as most of the human trainees did.

Temari threw up the sausage, and both she and Blitz jumped up, each one catching the sausage at the same time… and their lips touching when doing it. They wide-opened their eyes when realizing what had happened.

"Uh… eh… last… time I saw this… it was a Disney's movie…" Blitz blushed. "And… it was with spaghetti… but you get my point…"

"Y-yes… I… got it… the sausage… half of it… and the kiss… all of it…" Temari blushed and gulped a bit, both to pass the food and because of the obvious embarrassing situation.

"Yeah… and… I… Well, don't think I did that on purpose, I mean… Yeah, I liked the kiss, a lot… it felt quite good… excellent, indeed… and I continue digging myself in a very deep hole…" Blitz gulped as well.

"D-don't feel bad… I… I liked it too… a lot…" Temari replied before they both got silent for a couple of minutes.

"Guess we need to discuss this at some moment, right?" Temari sighed.

"Yes, you're right…" Blitz took a deep breath. "Well… should it be a 'ladies first' situation, or should I take the initiative?"

"Okay… you go first this time." Temari blushed more intensely now.

Blitz nodded and took a deep breath, readying himself for this.

"Well… eh… Temari… you see… I've… liked you… for a very long time now. At first it was because you… reminded me of Colleen, I mean, you're gorgeous, cool, tough, smart… but later, I started falling for your own qualities, like how you're so nice and respectful with me; and even more, how you're being so great actually inspires me to be an even better dog and ninja, because I want to be deserving of your respect."

"You are very respect-deserving, Blitz." Temari interrupted him. "And… you're not the only one who had been trying to be an overall better dog to deserve someone's respect… and maybe more."

Blitz smiled at this before getting a bit more serious again.

"Ironically, those were also the reasons why I didn't admit this before today. I didn't want to make some silly mistake that would make me lose your respect; I already screwed up a relationship, or an attempt of one, and I didn't want to make a fool of myself, again."

"Oh, Blitz, you'd never do anything to stop me from respecting or liking you." Temari held his hands/paws. "You're a great dog, and you, Sensei and the people at the temple deserve my full respect and gratitude. You all saved me when I was at my lowest point."

"Yeah, I know, the Parvo thing…" Blitz stopped talking when Temari sighed and shook her head.

"My 'lowest point' started way before I met Parvo. You see, maybe I wasn't born a stray dog like you, Blitz, but my puppyhood wasn't that happy either."

Blitz now was completely silent; he knew Temari hated to talk about her puppyhood and pretty much anything she did before joining the temple. The doberman always assumed it was because of Parvo, but now it seemed she wanted to open herself a lot more.

"Like you, I'm a pureblood dog; pedigree and all. I come from a long line of contests' champions, and, obviously, my first owners wanted me to be like that too. Most of my puppyhood memories are from training sessions, continuous grooming, and overall stuff to make me the best example of my breed."

"Mission complete; you're gorgeous." Blitz thought yet said nothing as Temari continued.

"Sadly, this means that I have no memories of myself playing with my owners, or doing anything that dogs and people normally do together. I don't even remember my owners walking me, not even once; it was always one of the house's servants… and they weren't allowed to play with me, or even pet or caress me. My owners were very strict and they didn't want me to be a playful, easily distracted dog."

"Oh, come on, even the contest dogs have fun with their families. I've met a few." Blitz frowned now.

"Well, they're lucky. My owners saw me as a status symbol, just like an expensive jewel or a limousine. And they only wanted me to exhibit me at the dog shows, and later brag about having a champion dog." Temari groaned. "At first it wasn't that bad; I always had some fun at the shows, mostly because I could see and chat with other dogs, I mean, most of the time I was pretty secluded. Plus my owners were always very happy whenever I won a contest… and it was very often; exactly fifteen times."

"Whoa. Very impressive." Blitz admitted.

" Thanks… but, unfortunately, after some time, I started losing contests. Sure, I often made it to the finals, but I stopped winning blue ribbons and trophies. After losing my fifth contest in a row, my owners called me a 'Loser', 'Worthless Mutt' and some other things I don't want to repeat."

Blitz frowned again; he could deduce how this ended.

"They just… kicked you out?"

"Right after losing the last contest. They just drove me a few streets away from the show's place, and then literally kicked me out of the car; I'm lucky they at least remembered to stop the car before doing that." Temari groaned. "Seriously, they were so angry that they didn't even think about getting me a new home, or selling me to some other person… I mean, we were at a dog show; the place was filled up with dog lovers! And who wouldn't have wanted to buy a former champion dog?"

Blitz was now doing his best to stop himself from growling.

"So your owners weren't just jerks, but also stupid jerks! I mean, more stupid than the usual jerk… seriously, how could they do that?"

"Beats me. The point is, I ended up living on the streets… and unlike you, I had absolutely no idea about how to live on my own. I managed to survive the first couple of weeks, thanks mostly to some nice people that gave me snacks when seeing me on the street… unfortunately, most of those people were little kids who couldn't get me to their homes without their parents' permission. So, I continued living on the streets until the day I got captured, and not even by the pound."

"Parvo." Blitz now growled openly.

"Yes; that's how he gets dogs to experiment with. Apparently, at first he just got dogs from the pounds, but with him and Groomer being wanted criminals, in the end it was easier for them to just pay some thugs to capture strays for them." Temari sighed sadly. "They threw me into a van along with a few other dogs, and then they drove us to Parvo's place. Next thing I knew, Groomer was strapping me to a laboratory table, and Parvo was starting to check my vital signs, and putting me at the top of his experimentation list."

Temari cringed now, obviously hating these memories. Blitz then hugged her, comforting the canine girl. Blitz, once again, felt very grateful that his anthro shape and abilities came from Professor Shephard, a man who loved animals and found a non-painful way to create Cano Mutants, instead of a maniac like Parvo; Blitz actually suspected that most of Parvo's canine minions were so aggressive and with little intelligence because of the trauma of the transformation. This also made him curious about something.

"But… you were never a mindless brute, like most of Parvo's Cano Mutants. Why…"

"I was a test subject for a new procedure." Temari interrupted him. "It makes the Cano Mutant as smart as a Cano Sapien… but it's still a very painful process. I almost fainted when they transformed me, and it took me a couple of days just to stand up without any support."

Blitz hugged her again, realizing how much she disliked talking about this.

"I'm sorry that happened to you… and I mean ALL the things that happened to you; seriously, I don't know who is worse, Parvo or those morons who kicked you out and treated you like an object instead of a family member… a pet, a friend, or at least the basic respect any living being deserves!" Blitz groaned. "Those people shouldn't take care of any pet. I wouldn't trust them with a goldfish, even less with another dog. And they were also guilty of what happened with Parvo; if they hadn't kicked you out…"

"Yes, I know, Parvo wouldn't have captured me." Temari looked down for a moment before smiling at Blitz. "But… guess there was something good about everything; I mean, when I escaped Parvo, I finally found a good place to live, a sensei that treated me with respect… and of course, You."

Now Blitz was the one smiling and even blushing a bit.

"Yeah… I remember when you first came to the temple; I thought you were the cutest girl I'd ever seen… and I still think that, plus adding a few dozen qualities I found out later." Blitz chuckled. "I almost started hitting on you the moment you arrived."

"And you didn't do it because..?"

"My quite lousy luck with attractive females. I thought I'd make you think I was a brainless jerk or something… and when you started learning from Sensei, I thought you wouldn't just reject me, but also beat me up if I went too far." Blitz sighed.

"Why would you think that?"

"Well, honestly, I was a bit of a narcissist during my Road Rover days, and I was also a flirt; and well, we only had one girl on the team." Blitz groaned. "And every time I hit on Colleen, she always mocked or ignored me, and if I insisted, she punched or kicked me into a wall. Sometimes THROUGH the wall. And that was before she had her werewolf powers; I'm lucky I never tried that when she finally got the powers or she'd have send me to the hospital with a light slap."

"Ouch… but Colleen seems to be a nice dog…"

"Oh, yes, she is." Blitz interrupted her. "But seriously, I was WAY too annoying back then; and remember what the sensei said about how everyone has limits? Well, I was always pushing Colleen's patience to her limits, and at times she didn't have that much patience in the first place, especially since she knew I knew about her crush on Hunter."

"So, you were hitting on a girl that you already knew was interested in another guy?" Temari arched an eyebrow.

"Most likely."

"Okaaay… guess I can see why Colleen got so angry with you; still, when we first met, you were never a narcissist. In fact, I've never seen you being annoying or something like that."

"Cause I was afraid of making the same mistake with you as I did with Colleen." Blitz groaned. "Sure, I knew you weren't dating anyone, or attracted to any other dog, but… the only way I knew to talk with a girl in a romantic way was the same I used with Colleen. Sure, maybe you wouldn't beat me up, but you'd probably end up rejecting me as well; and being rejected by Colleen was already bad enough."

"Oh… sorry about that, Blitz. But, really, I'd never reject you like that; even if I didn't… like you… I'd still want to be your friend, and I'd never hurt you." Temari blushed when saying 'like you'.

"I see that now… that you… like me." Blitz blushed even more.

"Yes… and not just 'like you', but 'like you-like you'… Whoa, I'm talking like a schoolgirl now." Temari rolled her eyes.

"A very cute schoolgirl." Blitz smiled and caressed her face, both he and Temari wagging their tails in happiness.

A while later, Darek started his own patrolling; since Blitz and Temari had already watched at the streets around the building, Darek decided to just watch around the apartment. Unknown to him, Darek made a little noise when walking around, and he was going precisely in front of Mindy's room at that moment; in fact, he only made the noise precisely because he felt a bit nervous when walking this close to Mindy's room, so he stepped louder than usual. And with Mindy being a very light sleeper, she woke up almost instantly.

Mindy opened her door and looked around, sniffing and getting Darek's scent. The dog girl blushed slightly and, since she was already up, decided to go to the kitchen for a drink of water.

"It's either this or a cold shower." Mindy thought out loud while entering the kitchen… and then took a few moments to decide if she should drink from a glass or from a bowl. Obviously, she still was getting used to being an anthro canine; she decided to use a glass, but realized her long muzzle didn't make it easy to drink from it, so she had to morph it to a much shorter size.

"Okay, guess I'll need to drink from a bowl or a big cup from now on." Mindy shrugged as she finished drinking. Then, she heard someone approaching and got a little mischievous idea; she put the glass in the sink, and then morphed into a wastebasket, curious about who'd be entering the kitchen, and if he or she would realize it was her in disguise.

Darek entered the kitchen a few moments later; he was sure he heard someone there, but found nobody. He sniffed a bit, but he got nothing definitive since pretty much every one of the apartment's current inhabitants had been in the kitchen at some point, so he was getting the scent of them all.

"Maybe it was a mouse." Darek shrugged before going to the pantry and grabbing a small bowl to get his own drink of water. Darek also grabbed a banana, and, after eating it, threw the peel into the wastebasket… that soon spitted out the peel, hitting his face.

"What the…"

"This is a wastebasket for recyclable stuff. Sorry."

Darek laughed, recognizing the voice, and a moment later, Mindy morphed back to normal.

"Heh, you got me. Literally." Darek chuckled while removing the peel from his face, and dropping it in the right wastebasket.

"Sorry about that. I wasn't aiming at your face, honestly." Mindy laughed and stepped back; she grunted when realizing her right leg was still in wastebasket form. "Ugh, I need more practice."

"Yeah, otherwise, someone else is gonna use that wastebasket too." Darek half-joked before getting a bit more serious. "Still, you did a very good transformation here. You morphed into something much smaller than yourself, and with a form that is very different from your own."

"Thanks. I'd been practicing, but I still make some mistakes when I'm distracted… or when, as you say, I take a shape that isn't even close to my natural one." Mindy shrugged.

"If you want, I can teach you; or at least help you train. While our powers are very different, I had to learn self-control, concentration and similar things to master my own abilities, and I can teach you those." Darek pointed out.

"I… I'd like that. Thanks." Mindy smiled at him, and then got closer to him. However, as Mindy said, her powers sometimes didn't work properly when she was distracted, and Darek's presence had that effect on her; so, her feet turned into suction cups, pretty much sticking her to the floor. Mindy felt herself losing her balance, and Darek rushed to help her; at that moment, Mindy got her focus back and changed her feet back to normal, resulting on her colliding with Darek, and falling on top of him. Darek, trying to soften the hit, and protect Mindy, moved his head too close to her own, and then, before they realized it, they started kissing very deeply.

Mindy and Darek wide-opened their eyes; of course, Mindy was much more literal, as her eyes were now the size of frisbees. This actually helped Darek to react, and, while he realized he didn't want to end this kiss, he gently pushed Mindy away. The push also made her react, and shook her head to return her eyes to normal size before standing up.

"I… I… th-that was an accident." Mindy quickly apologized.

"I… I know… and I… I'm very sorry…" Darek stood up, pausing for a moment. "I mean, I'm not exactly… sorry… for the kiss per se… but the way it happened. I...I didn't want to offend you…"

"N-no, I'm not offended… and… wait, you say you're not 'sorry' for the kiss?" Mindy arched an eyebrow.

"Well… I kinda… liked it… And… uh… sorry if I'm being a bit too… direct… but, well, I was home-schooled; not many schools for dogs except for the obedience ones, and only recently we got holo-disguises good enough for us Rovers to pass as humans, so... "

"Yeah, it wouldn't be easy for you. It's hard enough for normal human children to fit in school, so I can only imagine how it would be for you. Not to mention the problems Professor Shephard would have for conducting unauthorized animal experimentation, even if with good intentions." Mindy commented. "Anyway, back to topic… I wasn't offended by the kiss. I… liked it. A lot."

"T-thanks… so… we're cool, right?" Darek grinned sheepishly.

"Yeah, we're cool… specially you; honestly, you're one of the coolest guys I've ever met." Mindy blushed now. "In fact, I think I… like you. And not just 'like you', but… well, if I can be a bit kid-like, I 'like you-like you'; and I've felt like this pretty much since we first met. I didn't say… anything at first because, well, we had just met at that time, and besides, Candace, Vanessa and I had just become elastic canosapien dobermans earlier that day, so… not the best moment to say these things, you know?"

"Yeah, I see your point. Many people get weirded out when first meeting us, the Road Rovers, even when they'd already seen us on television or something. So I can only imagine how a normal human would feel when first turning him or herself into a Rover-like." Darek blushed a bit too. "Anyway, I… admit I've feel attracted to you almost since the beginning, but, as you mention, we've had a lot on our plate these days, and I also wanted to be sure I really… liked-liked you… and not just feeling an attraction because I'm not used to meet attractive female Cano-Sapiens and the other two, Candace and Vanessa, are already taken."

"I see… and I'm not used to feel attracted to canine guys; also, I didn't want to… start a relationship with you just because I feel jealous of Candace and Jeremy's." Mindy paused, noticing Darek was a bit surprised at this info. "Yeah, I mean, they are pretty much devoted to each other; not too many guys would willingly turn themselves into an anthropomorphic dog just to be with their girls, and funny enough, that's not even close to the most devoted, adoring stuff those two have done for each other… in fact, for a while, I actually wanted to date Jeremy. I went as far as posting very… unpleasant photos of Candace in my blog to mess up with her public image. Not my brightest moment. And I felt even worse after Stacy, Candace's former best friend, moved to Japan with her mom so now Candace; she went through Best Friend Abandonment Syndrome, and she would need me more than ever… and after what I did, even if she forgave me, I wasn't feeling worthy of being her best friend."

Darek remained silent, having a hard time believing that such a nice girl like Mindy would resort to such mean tactics, but also realizing this really affected her and was truly ashamed of herself.

"So yeah, I've wanted to find a guy who I'd be able to love, and get loved back, just like Candace and Jeremy do, but, obviously, I don't want to put pressure into this, as it wouldn't be fair for the guy at all… and being a Cano-Sapien kinda limits my options now. Even if I used Phineas and Ferb's technology to make myself more human, one part of me would still remain canine, and therefore not many guys would feel that committed to date a half-dog girl. You're obviously an exception, being a humanized dog and all, but, back to the point, just like you do, I want to date someone because he and I WANT to, not because we feel we MUST."

"I understand." Darek placed his hands on her shoulders. "If you want, we can take this slowly, going on dates, spending time together, sniffing our tails… Okay, skip the last one."

Mindy laughed loudly at this. Darek chuckled, enjoying how she sounded when happy.

"My point is, we can become a couple, but not making it an… official thing, like Candace and Jeremy, or Vanessa and Monty; they're pretty much engaged by now." Darek continued while Mindy nodded in agreement. "We'll only become a real, official couple if we both like how this works, and without any pressure. Deal?"

"Deal. And thanks." Mindy smiled tenderly before smirking a bit. "We're still kissing, right?"

"You can say that again." Darek smirked back before they went back to kissing, this time intentionally.

At that moment, however, they heard a noise coming from behind, and they separated quickly, thinking it was one of their friends coming to the kitchen for a snack. However, they didn't see anyone.

"Hey, that noise is coming from the outside…" Mindy stretched her neck to look at the closest window, and gasped when seeing a suction cup on the glass. Mindy quickly opened the window and looked down, seeing how the cup was attached to a large cable/rope, and that an intruder in stealthy, black outfit was using it to climb up.

"We're under attack!" Mindy quickly turned her right hand into a large pair of scissors, and cut the rope, surprising the intruder but not taking him down as he quickly took out another suction cup to attach himself to the building. Mindy then noticed he wasn't alone; no less than a dozen guys with similar climbing equipment was coming with him, and Mindy was sure there would be others climbing from the other sides of the building.

"And they have awful timing." Darek groaned before howling loudly. This woke the rest of the group up.

"What's going on in here?" Blitz was the first to meet with Mindy, who had stepped out of the kitchen while Darek used one of his battle auras to start attacking the intruders.

"We're being invaded!" Mindy told him as the other Cano-Sapiens quickly joined. "Darek is already fighting a group of invaders, but there must be a lot more!"

"How did they find us?" Candace gasped.

"Yeah, this place is supposed to be secure." Jeremy added, as they all got ready for battle.

"Temari, quick, go check on the Stone and take Colleen with you!" Blitz turned at his ninja partner.

Temari nodded and dashed to the room with the safe, Colleen now running behind her and quickly morphing into her werewolf self.

"We have to keep the battle here at the penthouse. No innocent should get injured!" Blitz continued barking orders. They all remembered that the rest of the building's tenants had no idea about why they were at the penthouse, and they could get injured by the invaders too. The others nodded and started dispersing around the penthouse, ready to receive the invaders when they entered.

Meanwhile, Temari and Colleen had already arrived at the room, and the ninja canine opened the safe immediately, gasping when realizing the stone was glowing.

"What does that mean?" Colleen asked as she guarded the door.

"That our enemies have some way to track down the Ryu-Oni's energy… and whatever way this is, it's somehow related to the Stone itself." Temari growled. "It's glowing because it's sensing part of its own energy coming right here."

"So, we're gonna fight someone who has powers that come from this very same stone?" Colleen gasped slightly before taking out her Rover communicator, that she had activated since Darek and Mindy woke everyone up. "Did you guys hear that?"

"Yes, we did." Blitz, also with his communicator on, frowned at this, knowing this would make the battle much harder. "Now I wonder how…"

A moment later, a large hole opened in the wall in front of Blitz; and by 'opened', it meant 'exploded'. Blitz had to jump back to avoid some large debrises, and then used a roundhouse kick to break apart a big piece of wall that almost crushed him.

"You thought I wouldn't find you, Gaijin Canine?"

Blitz growled and got a battle stance, as a large humanoid, black-scaled, green eyed reptilian creature entered the room, his muzzle glowing with red flames. The creature smirked cruelly at him while showing his huge claws and moving his tail in a whip-like manner.

"Atkatski… and here you always complained I wasn't worthy of the ninja training because I'm not human." Blitz snarled.

"And when I finish with you, you'll be exactly what you're worth; nothing." Atkatski grinned. "It's amazing what the Ryu-Oni's power can do, isn't it? Let me show you what real power feels like; this might burn a little."

Blitz barely had time to use a Water Jutsu to block Atkatski's dragon fire attack, and the attack still had enough force to send Blitz the other side of the room; the ninja doberman landed on his feet, but now he was even more wary of his attacker.

"What is this about, Atkatski? What I ever do to you, what drove you to this kind of madness?"

"I know I can explain my reasons to you… but I'd rather just destroy you while my minions destroy your friends." Atkatski then dashed at full speed, charging at Blitz, who stepped out of the way avoid the dragon's claws, that ripped the closest wall instead of the doberman's neck. Blitz barely could hear the battle sounds coming from all over the penthouse, as his friends were now on their own fights.

"As Hunter would say… another unexpected twist." Blitz growled, now getting ready to counter.
