Chapter 8: More Problems

"I will most certainly not do this!" The mushroom kingdom princess shouted at Samus, who was ignoring all the angry complaints being sent to her. "I do not deserve to be trapped in a restaurant with killer robots!"

"Yeah yeah." The fierce girl opened the trunk of the car and handed the girl a coffee canteen. "Take this, you'll need the extra strength."

"Thanks." She took the canteen and waited for the other supplies to be received to her. She was then handed a pistol. "Hey, why are you giving me this?"

"You need to be extra-prepared because it's the penultimate night for us, and the stakes of survival are higher than ever." In response to this, Samus gave her several tripwire bombs, mimes, several magazines for her pistol and a baton.

"Fine...but can I have the rocket launcher?" Peach noticed the heavy weapon.

"Nope, this baby is mine!" Samus took it for herself, and wrapped it around her arms like she was hugging someone, "Just go set those explosives in the restaurant and I'll come back for you by Seven."

"What are you gonna do?"

"I'm gonna go watch a Sci-fi movie." The rebellious girl walked away from the princess and disappeared out of sight just by turning to the right.

"Hello? Hello? Uh, hey there, night four! I told you you'd get the hang of it!" The anonymous caller told the Mushroom Kingdom Princess as she stared at the monitor, being forced to wind up the music box.

"Ok, so uh, just to update you, uh, there's been somewhat of an, uh, investigation going on." He may have been referring to the weird things that were taking place earlier in the morning, but she didn't ask Samus what was going on because she was still In a bad mood.

Uh, we may end up having to close for a few days... I don't know."

"Really?" Peach shouted in a surprised manner. She was about to cheer before the message interrupted it. "I want to emphasize though that it's really just a precaution. Uh, Fazbear Entertainment denies any wrongdoing. These things happen sometimes."

This successfully halted Peach's excitement."Um... It'll all get sorted out in a few days. Just keep an eye on things and I'll keep you posted."

"Uh, just as a side note though, try to avoid eye contact with any of the animatronics tonight if you can." The guy on the phone said this hesitantly, "Someone may have tampered with their facial recognition systems, we're not sure. But the characters have been acting very unusual, almost aggressive towards the staff. They interact with the kids just fine, but when they encounter an adult, they just...stare."

This was also experienced back with Samus this morning, and sent off a nervous chill through the princess' spine. "Uh...Anyways, hang tight. It'll all pass. Good night!" The call ended once again and left the Princess of the Mushroom Kingdom alone.

The monitor was still on the Prize Counter and she kept her finger on the winding button, and she was occasionally flashing her light in the main hall to prevent Foxy from jumping in. All of the explosive charges have been placed in every single room, from the party room, to the bathroom, to even the hallways just to make sure the animatronics don't come close to the office.

Peach switched to the stage room camera and spotted the three animatronic who were using their eyes to stare at nothing, and there were several lasers pointed next to their heads, and in case one of them moved, explosions would ensue. The game area had the same treatment with machine turrets targeting the infamous BB and a D-mine was placed in front of the Mangle in the other room.

So far it was all good, the evil animatronics of death are not going to be attacking her anytime soon. Peach leaned back and kept her screen at the music box, "If only I gotten to use these against Bowser." She thought to herself.

Suddenly, a phone started ringing. The princess nearly fell off the floor and pulled out her cellular device, it was someone with a question mark on it, she curiously answered it.

"Uh hello?" She said to it.

"Hello? Is this Princess Peach?" A guy was on the other line and he wasn't recognizable.

"Wait who is this?" She asked, concerned that the guy could be related to the child killer or if he could even be that one.

"This is Cloud Strife, and I'm from Final Fantasy VII. I was told I was accepted into the Smash Bros family and MH told me to call you because he was too busy doing stuff." The caller explained, "So where is the Smash Mansion."

"Are you sure you're from a different game?" She started questioning him, "Do you know anything about Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria?"

"What?" Cloud responded back.

"Tell the truth Mr. Cloud. Are you sure you don't know anything about that place?"

"I'm sure. I just wanted to know about the whereabouts of the Smash mansion."

"Why? So you can go kill the kids there?" Peach said to the phone.

Cloud was highly confused, "What are you even talking about?"

"You know what I'm talking about Mr. child killer, I will get the police to hunt you down so don't go anywhere until they arrive, understand?"

"Uh...I still don't understand what-"

"You know what I'm talking about!" Peach started looking at the prize counter which the music box was still being wounded up, but unfortunately, there was the Mangle staring at her. She screamed and dropped the phone on the floor which made it hang up.

Cloud heard the phone get hung up and he was left with a weird expression.

"Hey Cloud," Tifa Lockhart appeared in front of him and gave him a glass of water, "So did you get the location of the Smash Mansion?"

"No...one of them thinks that I'm a child killer."

"What?"

Peach got herself on her feet and started to flash her light at the empty hallway. There was Foxy who was just standing there with his hook being raised in the air, what made this a little more upsetting was that the automated rocket turrets were not responding to this threat. Peach was confused at this, and questioned how these military weapons were not firing at a target in front of them.

She fired her flashlight at the animatronic fox and kept doing it to make sure he disappeared. "Go away!" She shouted, but the screaming wasn't going to work out so she kept using the flashlight. Her free hand quickly grabbed the monitor and started to wound up the music box.

Mangle was still there, so she quickly looked at the party stage where the three animatronics were still standing in their exact position, then she checked the storage room where the broken down Bonnie had disappeared.

She quickly checked to see where he was and the withered animatronic was in the first

party room. It was going to get to the vent but it was guarded by thousands of tripwire bombs that was going to detonate if something approaches them. Peach checked the cameras and the broken China was hanging out in one of the other party rooms.

"Samus, I swear if I get out of here, I will make you wear a cute princess outfit and You will like wearing it!" Peach thought to herself in anger. She wounded up the music box again and light up the hallway again, nobody was there at all, but she still had to deal with the other animal robots that were going to try and murder her.

Peach went back to the monitor and changed the camera feed to where withered Bonnie was, but he vanished and there was something moving offscreen, she focused on the vents to find the evil robot bunny approaching her. The princess grabbed the Fazbear mask in case things went bad and flashed her light at the hallway to find that there was the old Freddy there, however something was different about it.

It wasn't looking straight at her, but rather at something from behind. She let him worry about that and focused on keeping herself safe. She drank her coffee and kept filling up the meter for the music box to keep that Puppet away from her, then she changed the feeds to where BB was, and he was still there. The Mangle was also on the move so she checked the party rooms again, and it was just in the ceiling staring at the camera with both of its heads, and below it was Chica who was standing there with her broken arms out.

The next camera changed to where the withered Freddy was, and it was moving along. It was actually moving, and Peach was not so successful in keeping herself calm. She knew that the animatronic was going to attack so she quickly out on the Fazbear mask and braced herself.

The monitor was set down and the faceless Bonnie appeared in the middle of the room, the lights were already turning on and off again because of its unknown powers or something like that, the princess kept her face hidden until the rest of the room as restored from its presence.

Now that the faceless Bonnie was gone, she got back to the music box and wounded it up until it was full, but kept her eyes focused on the hallway in case Foxy was there.

As of now, every single militaristic weapon was proven to be useless against these things and the princess was thinking about consulting Samus about why she got these things and why they didn't work. The camera was switched towards another room with the walking Freddy approaching another, it seemed disinterested in the office for some reason, or maybe it was finding an alternative route towards it.

Then suddenly, somebody started running towards it and then the camera was suddenly filled with static, and not just that, the entire building was hit with the lights flicking off and on again, the rest of the monitors losing connection of the place, and the military weaponry went offline in an instant. Peach dropped the monitor and hid behind the table, but she didn't see that the screen had showed off only two words: You can't.

This continued for a few more seconds before everything went back to normal, but Peach didn't let her guard down as she looked around in case it was a trap from the animatronics. She slowly reached the monitor and looked at it, but the screen remained offline, she tapped it a few times but it remained that way.

She placed the monitor on the table and flashed the light at the hallway, but for some reason there was nothing there, in fact the entire room had been cleared out. The military stuff had vanished during that sudden blackout-like effect that the animatronic or the random charging guy caused. She finally noticed that her phone was on the floor so she got it and looked at the screen.

It said it was five fifty five, a mere five minutes before the night shift ended. "Oh thank goodness." She said to herself and lied down on the floor, completely forgetting the possibility that the puppet would be coming out if she didn't focus on the music box.

For some reason, after that blackout all the animatronics had returned to their original places, perhaps they were given a warning or the mystery guy had something to do with it, either way it was good news for the mushroom princess. The fourth night was over for her, one more to go.

Master Hand was bored again, nothing was fun at the moment for him because the progress of building the mansion was way too slow. "I'm bored!" He said, stating the obvious, the television was not helping either, all it did was show the news over and over again. He actually wished that the phone would ring and he would get the chance to yell at some guy for doing whatever they were doing.

He instead headed to the phone and typed in a random number, "Hello."

"Okay who is this and how did you get my number?" Some dude said on the phone,.

"Oh hey dude. Do you mind if I ask what you are doing?"

"Oh, I'm playing hockey, why do you ask-"

Master Hand decided to yell to make himself feel better, "Oh so you're playing hockey huh? Well guess what? You're playing it wrong! You should better than to just use your hockey stick and swing it all around, hitting someone in the kneecaps and thinking that your team is winning! There are better ways to play hockey that doesn't involve hurting people."

"Uh...sorry I got to go." The hockey quickly hung up.

Master hand sighed, "That's better." The door knocked and he said, "Come in." It was Crazy Hand who wasn't acting as crazy as he always was.

"Master Hand, we got a problem."

"Oh great, let me guess, you drove my car into the side of a tree, or you just blew up the secret bunker we had in case a dragon came out or did you decided to get a girlfriend and actually succeeded in asking her for marriage." MH ranted all the things that could've happened.

"No...I just wanted to let you know that your car was taken by some girl with four guns on her and she kept saying that there was some angels she needed to kill."

"What!" MH immediately stormed out of the room and towards the outside, there was his car moving away from the driveway and towards the open road, "Hey, give me back my car!" he groaned, knowing that the girl wouldn't listen to him from that distance. "Ugh!"

"Look on the bright side, you still have your other car." Crazy Hand said, "That's not a bad thing."

Meanwhile outside of a random house, a pizza truck was pulled right in front of it. It belonged to a different company and it wanted to make more money than any other pizza places, and it was hiring a few people to deliver them so it was convenient for a few smashers...some of them anyway.

"No, I am not going to go to the front!" Ganondorf said to Bowser who looked really ridiculous in his uniform.

"You have too, because I'm pretty sure that they wouldn't accept pizza from an evil turtle like me."

"Good point." The Zelda villain grumbled before he started walking towards the house with the pizza box in his hands, he knocked on the door. "Hello this is the pizza guy, I'm here to give you...the pizza."

A man opened up the door, "Oh hello there. You got my order?"

"Yes, a hot pepperoni pizza." The delivery guy showed him the order, "That'll be ten bucks."

The man handed him his money, "Thanks so much...and can I ask you something?,

"Yeah?"

"Next time, maybe you should put on a happy face so that people would like you more" He closed the door and this left Ganondorf to grumble away to the car.

"When this is over, I'm going to stay in my room for a long time!" He thought to himself, when he came back to the car, he saw that Sonic was waiting for him. "Hello there hedgehog."

"How many deliveries have you made guys?" He asked.

"Only one, let's me guess you made like eighty-five, right?"

"Yep, and here's all the cash." A lot of money was handed to Ganondorf, who took it with a grim look on his face, "You should smile more often also, we're gonna get a lot more money if we do that."

The phone ringed so Sonic picked it up. "Hello, this is the Pizza guys...one thousand pizzas you say, I'll be right there!" He went to the back of the truck, got the perfect amount of pizzas and then started running to the address.

He rung the doorbell, "hello I'm here to deliver the pizzas you ordered." He started to wait, until suddenly, someone with super speed grabbed sonic, and ran far away from the house. The door opened, and the guy with a party hat looked around and then saw the pizzas. "Hey kids, free pizza!" The kids inside the house cheered.

Sonic was thrown right inside an abandoned warehouse, he got on his feet and saw the person who grabbed him, "Hey what's the big idea, I'm just delivering pizzas."

"Sonic the hedgehog, I want you to give me your speed." The speedster said. He was covered in a black suit (or that's what it seemed like anyway) with a black lightning bolt symbol on it. His hands were claws and there was blue lighting causally moving around his body, his mask was making him look anonymous as well.

"Hey you can't take my speed, you have your own!"

"I suggest you give it to me before it take it from you." The black speedster took one step further but Sonic acted quickly by using his spin dash move, but the mystery person moved away from him as he crashed into the wall.

"Who are you!" The hedgehog shouted at his new enemy.

He only turned slowly and said, "Call me...Zoom."

"Really? Are you sure that's what happened?" Samus said to Peach who was throng to calm down after what happened last night. "Some random guy is in the room with the animatronic bear and then the entire place goes into a blackout and the entire military equipment disappeared?"

"Yeah that's exactly what happened." She nodded to confirm the answer, "I don't want to do this anymore, this job is gonna be the end of us."

"Yeah I know, but we're on the last day of the week, and they're gonna shut down for a few days so that's a good sign!"

"But if they're closing down, then how are we able to get any money?" Marth asked from the other side of the room wearing his suit for the Fazbear restaurant.

"Oh good point." Samus looked on her iPad to find a list of hiring jobs, "Well, there's always the criminal job."

"No, the Koopalings have that taken care of, and I will not rob any banks."

"Okay, then how about we just sign up for guard duty at a prison to make sure no one escapes."

"Pit, Dark Pit and Palutena have that taken care of as well." Marth shuddered at the thought of being guards at a horrible prison. "It's a horrible experience that I'll never take a part of."

"Right." Toon link said, "But anyways, who's gonna be the night guard for the final night?" This question caused Samus, Marth, Peach, and Toon Link to look at each other before saying, "NO! I refuse!"

Samus shouted out her reason why, "I will not go back over there and see the robots try to murder me with their hands and stuff me in those suits!" While Marth said, "The monsters are evil, and they have no respect for anything good!" Peach shouted, "I just did one night, I'm not gonna do it again!" And Toon Link said, "I'm too young to get killed by animatronic robots!"

The four were arguing until someone started knocking at the door, one of them opened it up and noticed the newcomer. "Uh, who are you?"

"My name is Cloud Strife and I am here to join the Smash Bros Family." He said to everyone.

"Wait, you're a newcomer?" Marth asked, he only got a nod from him, and then he realized something that could work. He started smiling, then when Samus noticed his plan, she started smirking and so did the other two.

Cloud, who was now confused, asked, "Uh...why are you guys staring at me like that?"
