I apologize for the delay. I meant to update last week but a lot has been keeping me busy and typing time is hard to find. I hope this chapter is to your liking.

The next morning came pretty quickly and upon waking the monks were greeted with unfavorable weather. Rain poured down in heavy sheets and soaked the grounds within the first few minutes. Puddles quickly formed and the wind picked up by a good degree. Thunder could be heard in the distance but there was no sign of lightning. Master Fung assured them the storm would pass by the next hour, giving them some free time to wait it out.

Raimundo spent it conversing with Dojo, who explained what happened last night. Regardless, the information presented wasn't enough to prove Omi was sneaking off to see Chase Young. At that, he could only groan in slight annoyance. The dragon of wind wanted to get this whole mess sorted out as soon as possible but nothing seemed to be working out. The thought of asking the youngest directly was still optional but not favored and was therefore passed over again.

All the same, he kept the information to himself, he would make sure to inform the others at a better time, seeing as they were all in the same room at the moment. Kimiko was currently on her phone and Clay was showing Omi one of the rope tricks he learned growing up. Really, Raimundo couldn't complain all that much. Everyone was happy and it was times like these being the leader wasn't so bad.

There was a level of stress that came with the title and a burden when making difficult decisions, like he was in the middle of at the moment, but all and all the position was taken seriously despite his times of gloating. It wasn't wise to let one's guard down so easily, not when the forces of evil were prevailing, nonetheless most involved kept their plans hidden, Jack was really the only exception.

Raimundo sat down, deciding to take the calmness as it came instead of being overly worried, however his eyes veered over to Omi for a few seconds. For someone who spent all night away, he sure seemed full of energy, unlike Dojo who was now sleeping in one of the other rooms. Then again, the youngest always triumphed when it came to endurance.

He finally settled himself against the wall, his hands folded behind his head. Maybe he could catch up on some rest as well. Master Monk Guan was driving him a bit stir-crazy with all the training. Just when he could have fallen asleep, a somewhat loud squeal of excitement almost caused him to fall over. "Something happen?" he asked, rubbing his eyes.

Kimiko gave a short nod before bringing her phone out and showing it to him for a second. "My Papa's throwing a huge party tonight to celebrate the success and profit of his latest project. He wants all of us to be there. Do you think Master Fung will let us go? I haven't been home in so long, just thinking about it makes me miss Tokyo."

"I don't see why he wouldn't," Clay mentioned, still keeping the same circling motion with his rope. "Besides, none of us really get the chance to see our folks. Sorry, partner, didn't mean anything by it," he then added, realizing that Omi didn't have any parents and the statement might bother him. He was always good at hiding his disappointment when the subject came up in the past.

"It is alright, my friend," the water dragon assured. "I would be most excited to go as well and this time let us hope we do not have Pandabubba or Jack Spicer to deal with." Of course, he was always interested in seeing the places his friends grew up. The only person's home they haven't visited, be it for a Shen Gong Wu or otherwise, was Raimundo's.

"Another chance to get more free stuff? I'm so down with that," the Shoku Warrior mentioned. When he caught Kimiko's raised brow, he quickly tried to rephrase before she could get the chance to scold him for only caring about things like that, which they all knew wasn't all true. "I mean another chance to see you dad and his company. Have I mentioned lately that you're my favorite monk?"

"I thought after all this time you realized I was your favorite?" Omi asked, his tone dropping. In spite of the question, he changed to a more positive remark on his end and continued speaking on his behalf. "But it is okay because I know deep down I am more favorable than the others and you are just saying otherwise to spare Kimiko's feelings."

"Yeah, you just keep telling yourself that," Raimundo remarked, rolling his eyes some. He soon shrugged his shoulders. "I didn't realize you cared so much anyway. If it's any consolation, you're my favorite monk to annoy, seeing as it's easy to do," he then said, changing his voice to teasing, though he did let a small smile pass though his expression.

"Anyway," Kimiko said, getting them back on topic before an argument could stir. "I'll go find Master Fung and ask him. He would probably need to sort it with Master Monk Guan as well. Be right back." She stood and made sure to take her cellphone with her, not wanting to leave it with her friends and have them go through it like they've done many times before.

The fire dragon was gone for about fifteen minutes before she came running into the room again. "He actually said we can go, but we have to be back by tomorrow morning and make up all the chores we're going to miss, which we can't even do in one day anyhow. I better start packing," Kimiko told them, only stopping for a few seconds prior to rushing off to their shared room.

"Packing? We're not even going to be gone for a full day," Raimundo called out but she was already gone. "What could she possibly need to bring? On second thought, I'd rather not ask her. We should probably let Dojo know we're going to be heading out soon." Both he and Clay went to search for the dragon, leaving Omi by himself.

He was about to get up and help too, but before he could he spotted Chase's crow just as it flew off. He pretty much guessed he'd send the bird to see what he and his friends were up to, yet Omi also didn't understand why. If they were secretly working together, the warrior shouldn't feel the need to check up on them. Still, he tried not to focus too much on that. Instead, he went to go help the others locate the dragon.

Chase brought his arm out to allow his bird to land on his shoulder and gather its information before heading back to the room both Wuya and Jack were in. Their trip wouldn't stall his plan in the slightest; it only came as an inconvenience. He was sure Omi was aware that they couldn't meet up if he was away, that would only increase suspicion.

But time was wearing thin. If he wanted to trap Hannibal in the Ying-Yang World again, permanently, they couldn't risk having too many gaps in training. Omi was able to catch on quickly, so there was no need to make haste. On the other hand, the bean was surely making plans of his own and whatever they were, they'd most likely interfere with his, they always did.

Even when away, Omi had to be cautious. Chase doubted Hannibal would make any moves when the monks were gone but one could never be sure. And he still hadn't approached his young apprentice yet, meaning he would soon. The time didn't matter, it was making sure he didn't get sucked into being tricked that concerned him. He was too trusting after all, and yet less than when they first met.

Chase sat down at the table, his hands coming together. "It seems as though the monks are heading to Tokyo. I would like the two of you to go," he announced, prior to turning his attention to the boy genius "And do not take this little trip as the time to play tourist, Spicer. You must remember the task at hand and the importance of it."

"Give me more credit than that, the idea didn't even come to mind," he complained, leaning back on his chair and setting his feet up on the table. "Besides, I don't see the point of going in the first place. If I can't buy stuff, well steal stuff, for my robots then I have no reason. Not that I wouldn't like to take a vacation there or anything, it's pretty nice actually, even though I didn't get much of a chance to enjoy it before."

"You need not question my motives," the immortal said with a shake of his head. "Just keep an eye on Omi for me, I would rather not send my crow that far and I need him for something else." Chase preferred to keep some things to himself, such as having his bird see what Hannibal Roy Bean was up to. However, he knew if out too long, he'd sense its presence.

"If he's going why do I have to tag along?" Wuya protested, crossing her arms. She didn't see much of a point and really didn't feel like doing anything else but relaxing. "I suppose you can't trust Jack to do anything right in the first place, but I'm not going to babysit him. I did enough of that when I didn't have a body and was simply a floating head."

"Yeah, sure gang up on me. I'll have you know, I'm perfectly capable of taking care of myself. And I never needed you around in the beginning. You were the one who phased through objects and needed me to get you the Shen Gong Wu. I can just build robots to help me, evil boy genius, remember?" he asked, pointing to his head, signifying the fact that he was smart enough to handle things on his own.

The witch frowned at his remark but played no heed to it, seeing as she did require his help and if it wasn't for Jack opening the puzzle box Dashi trapped her in, she'd still be imprisoned. "You'd get lost in five seconds, maybe less. You have no sense of direction," Wuya ended up remarking, hating to admit someone else was right, especially him.

"Enough bickering," Chase interrupted his tone a bit demanding. He let his gaze slip between them and settled with a light sigh. "If either of you happen to get caught, I'd prefer you to avoid a fight unless necessary. Omi is aware of your alliance with me, Wuya, so it's more imperative that you stay out of sight. Though I'm sure you can handle yourself if seen."

"Exactly, he's the one you should be worried about," she passively remarked. She brought her hand out and examined her nails for a moment. "It's not like I want to run into the monks anyway and get into an unnecessary squabble." In fact, she preferred to avoid Jack if possible too, but instead she had to work together with him. It was times like these she wanted it to go back to just her working with Chase.

"I advise you both get ready to leave then," the Warrior said, petting the cat closest to his chair. Although there was some complaining muttered between them as they got up, Chase ignored it. Waiting around was becoming rather boring, however, there wasn't much to do about it. He had to let things take their course and pushing Omi too hard would only cause problems.

He somewhat had misgivings about Jack's ability to not make himself known to the monks but as long as he didn't give anything related to his plan away, there wouldn't be an issue. When it came to Wuya, her tendency to be lazy was her only downfall. It wasn't something to be excessively concerned about. As long as they did as he instructed things should work out perfectly fine.

Despite the bad storm passing over, Dojo managed to fly them to their destination in about three hours. They made a quick stop to greet Toshiro before going into the city, wanting to spend some time looking around before the party started. Seeing as their last visit was for a Shen Gong Wu, Kimiko wanted to show her friends the place she grew up.

"We really have to try to stay together. Tokyo can get as crowded as New York, maybe even worse," Kimiko stated as they left her father's building. She let out a light breath. It was nice to be home again, being surrounded by familiar areas and buildings. The flashing lights and crowds also brought back many memories. "We better get a move on if we want to make it back in time."

Clay tipped his hat down as they walked, letting out a whistle. "It's amazing anyone can find their way around in a place like this. All I had was miles and miles of farmland. The town wasn't too far off but still, nothing like this," he mentioned. Even if they have been all over the world similar places always managed to hold his interest.

"The city's not that different from Rio de Janeiro, except the only palm trees you have are in light form," Raimundo explained, shrugging his shoulders prior to folding his hands behind his head. "It's nice to finally get a chance to relax though. We haven't had a vacation in well, forever. It's only for a day but I say we make the best of it."

"Even if we are here for Kimiko's family, we should not let our guard down," Omi mentioned, remembering how Chase told him to always remain diligent no matter what. He glanced up at the Shoku Warrior and brought his hand out as to make a point. "But do not worry, I will handle your share since you are somewhat lacking in the area of attentiveness."

Raimundo frowned in slight irritation. Just like any of his younger siblings, Omi shared the trait of getting on his nerves easily, especially when he put himself above the rest of them. "I might be 'lacking in the area of attentiveness' but who managed to get promoted to leader while you're still a Wudai Warrior?" he asked, raising a brow after the question.

"The last person who became an apprentice," Omi muttered as he crossed his arms. Truthfully, he really wanted the position and took on a task that he thought would grant him just that, although his priorities did diverge a bit when he met Chase in the past. The monk believed his friend earned it but it still somewhat bothered him. "I could have been leader if things worked out differently."

The wind user let out a huff. If Omi wasn't so concerned about one of their enemies and didn't mess up the timeline on multiple accounts, perhaps he could have but he wasn't going to mention that fact. "Yeah, maybe when I kick the bucket," Raimundo murmured, however, he was sure he was heard and the monk's next remark confirmed that.

"What does bucket kicking have to do with anything?" Omi asked throwing his arms out to the side. "You are not making mush sense, but I believe what you are implying is most unappreciated." It was rare for him to understand what he meant when saying certain things and in spite of being friends for so long; he was still at a loss half the time.

"Rai, stop teasing him," Kimiko said, lightly banging her elbow against his arm. "We all think you're doing a good job when it comes to being our leader," she added, hoping he'd get the hint to stop going on about it. She knew how Omi felt. It only annoyed the youngest in the group when brought up in the way it was previously and usually ended up with them either arguing or not talking.

"The little lady has a point," Clay included, glancing at the others. "There's no need to go on about something that's already decided. Master Fung knows what he's doing so we should enjoy the trip instead of getting into fights." Of course their quarrels happened more often when they first met but it simmered down ever since, only occurring every once in a while.

The fire dragon let a small smile form as they mumbled in agreement and turned her attention back to where they were heading. She made sure they stopped at a few of the food stores so they could try a few things and even managed to get them to go into some of the clothing places although for the majority of them they stood outside. Between all of that the next few hours passed by quickly.

"I have a question," Raimundo suddenly commented once they left another building. "Why are we carrying all your stuff for you? And some are actually pretty heavy, might I add." Stopping to take a break his friends soon did the same. He let out a breath and placed the bags on the ground. Very little were his, filled with either games or sports related items, but most belonged to Kimiko.

"Because I just got my nails done while you guys were checking out the comic store. Once they dry I'll take a few," she offhandedly mentioned. "But here seems like a good place to rest for a while. Anyone want a drink? I'm buying." After they all nodded, she went to the closest vender and came back a minute later with what they asked for.

Omi took a sip of soda, which he only got since Kimiko recommended it. He was normally used to drinking whatever they had at the temple, water or tea. The fizziness of the beverage was unusual but not something to complain about, seeing as he had something similar before. Looking over to the side, he narrowed his eyes some. The feeling of being watched was there for a while now, however, he wasn't certain until this moment.

Although many people surrounded them, he could still sense it, the presence of another and maybe it was because of Chase's training that he was able to notice at all. He took a few steps closer to the Wudai Warrior and tugged on his sleeve to get his attention. "Raimundo, I believe someone is following us," Omi mentioned, keeping his voice low enough so only the three of them could hear.

"Your tiger instincts picking up on someone?" the dragon of wind asked halfway joking due to their previous conversation. "Now that you mention it, I'm getting the feeling you're right. Why does someone always have to come and ruin things? There's not even a Shen Gong Wu here, if there was Dojo would have come and told us by now."

"The only person who would come all this way for no reason or just to see why we left is Jack Spicer. I have no doubt it is him," Omi confirmed with a nod. "However, there are too many people around. If we start a fight here someone could get hurt." He glanced away for a second, wondering what the best option was. They could ignore him but that wouldn't give them any answers.

"I've got an idea," Raimundo said. He finished his can of soda and crushed it. "Which direction?" After Omi pointed to the left, he backed up some and threw the item. As soon as they heard a yell, the definitely knew who it was. Shaking his head, he crossed his arms. "You might as well come out now. We know you're back there," he shouted.

"Watch where you're throwing things!" Jack yelled back as he walked out from his hiding place. "You hit my nose! Is it broken, bleeding, or bruising? I can't tell," he then asked, holding onto the area. "I get lightheaded from nosebleeds and if I have to go to the hospital, I'm sending you the bill. Okay, I'm pretty sure it's not broken but it's throbbing an awful lot."

Clay rolled his eyes at his overreacting, yet still kept a serious look on his face. Moving forward, he raised an eyebrow in suspicion. They've been in this position before, having Jack trail them and it never turned out well, especially since there was no reason for him to be here with them. "You dirty snake, what are you doing spying on us?"

"Oh please, don't flatter yourselves. I have much better things to be doing than following you losers around. And I just so happen to be here for a very important reason," the boy genius said as he crossed his arms. He paused for a moment, trying to think of a good excuse. "Like buying new robot parts for my evil army or something."

"In Tokyo? That story's hardly believable. Besides, if that was the truth you wouldn't have been hiding in the first place," Kimiko went on to say. "What are you really doing here?" She placed her hands on her hip and looked up at him. Of course, none of them believed him, considering this wasn't the only time he got caught by one of them.

Omi let out a sigh. They could go back and forth forever like this. As far as he knew Jack had no motive to even be in the area. If he really wanted to know what they were up to, he could have done it by simpler means, such as sending one of his machines or at least kept a better distance. "You better spill your internal organs at once," he remarked.

"He means spill your guts but you get the gist of it," Raimundo corrected with a shrug of his shoulders. "Well, we're waiting for an answer and it better be the truth. I'd rather not spend all day trying to get it out of you. I have better things to do." On top of that, this was one of the only days they got to relax and not worry about chores or training, he'd rather not have it ruined.

Jack backed away some. He knew Chase wanted him to avoid meeting up with the monks but it was unavoidable. "I don't have to answer to the four of you. In fact, I don't even have to stay. Catch you later." Using his heli-pack, he flew off into the city, hoping to get away, although he still had to do as Chase wanted and keep an eye on Omi.

"Do not worry, my friends, I will stop him and get the answers we need," the youngest in the group stated before running after him. He disappeared into the crowd rather quickly, leaving the other three behind but it didn't take long for both Kimiko and Clay to go after him, knowing they'd lose him if they didn't try and catch up right away.

Raimundo let his head drop, bearing in mind that neither of them bothered to think things through. For all they knew this whole thing could be a trap or a way to separate all of them. Regardless, he had to go as well and make sure they didn't lose anyone. Just as he started to move a voice stopped him in his tracks, causing him to turn in its direction.

"Always running off ahead, aren't they?" the Heylin witch asked, walking out from behind a building. She held her usual smile and superior outlook on her face as she continued to speak. "Then again Omi tends to do whatever he wants without even bothering to mention it to anyone," she added only slightly hinting at the fact that he was going behind their back. She knew better than to give that information away.

"Wuya, what an unpleasant surprise," he soon stated with a frown forming. "I'm guessing you and Spicer being here isn't just a coincidence. Is Chase around too or did he just send you to do his dirty work?" Whatever the reason, he knew it wasn't good. Nonetheless, he did catch her implying tone, which only confirmed what he already knew.

"I do what I want," she told him. "Even though you're leader now none of them seemed all that concerned to hear what you had to say, all going off on their own like that. Do they even respect your authority in the slightest? At least when you were on my side you had everything you wanted, well everything besides your friends. That really couldn't have been helped though."

"I'm not here to play mind games with you so stop trying to make it seem like I'm better off without them or something. I won't fall for your lies another time. I'm too smart for that," Raimundo said, some confidence finding its way into his tone as his eyes following her. She walked behind him and he turned around to face her again.

"Just pointing out the obvious," Wuya said nonchalantly back. "I don't have my magic anyway so really, I can't do a thing. Working with Chase isn't half bad though and he's better company than Jack. One can only take so much whining and complaining. You'd think after all this time he'd get somewhere but he's still the same as always."

"I'm not in the mood to have a discussion. Besides, I realized a long time ago you only do things for your own gain. I just haven't figured out what that is right now," Raimundo mentioned. He turned his head and waited a few seconds prior to bringing up what he wanted to from the start. "Since we're here, how about you tell me what's going on?"

"You're going to have to be a tad more specific than that," she mentioned with a smile. His curiosity was bound to get the better of him so of course, she was going to take advantage of that. Even though they worked together for a while many things changed since then. Raimundo wasn't easy to persuade anymore and took his role in the group seriously.

"With Chase and Omi," he specified. Catching the look in her eyes, he realized she was doing this on purpose. She wanted him to ask that question but he couldn't make out why. "I'm not stupid, he's up to something, he always is and you know what it is, don't you? So why don't you save me the trouble and tell me what I want to know?"

Wuya's lips pulled upwards into a smirk. She had no intention of betraying Chase, like she told him, but she also wasn't going to miss an opportunity like this. Bringing her hand up, she tapped a finger on her chin. It was all about the right use of wording. "Alright, perhaps I do know a thing or two but answers don't come free. If you want information than I expect something from you in return."

Cliffhanger! They're fun to write but horrible when reading, I always hate when authors leave off like that because you just want to keep going. I wanted them to get out of the temple for a little while so I decided going to Tokyo would work. Plus it helps when it comes to moveing things along a bit. Please review and let me know what you thought.
