A/N: I got this strange idea after reading up on the history of Christmas Cards.

Selling Christmas Cards

Tears fell down his face like a never ending waterfall as he read the note that his best friend had handed him again and again, shock and hope coloured his face as he allowed the words to sink in. Looking up to meet his best friend's face it was all Harry could do but to look at Ron with a wide open mouth.

"Be careful, your face could stick like that," Ron said in teasing manor as a small smirk appeared on his face, "I take it you like my idea for the Christmas Cards then?"

"Like the idea? I love it!" Harry finally said as he gave Ron a large happy grin, "I can't believe that you of all people had the brain to come up with this through! And where did you find out about the history of Christmas Cards?"

"I decided that I needed to do something other than school stuff to cheer myself up a bit after the war you know?" Ron said softly causing Harry to nod his head in understanding, "Well I found out that the muggle studies Professor was running this club that allowed students to make Christmas stuff and learn all about it and if we wanted to we could use it to help improve our grades...and well when I found out about the history of Christmas Cards and I thought about how everyone is struggling after the war and all..."

"Ron...this is a great idea! Have you thought about which charity your going to give the money too?" Harry asked with a proud smile making Ron give his own proud smile in return.

"I...I was hoping that we might be able to set one up together you know?" Ron said suddenly feeling shy, "I mean I looked into all of the other charities but they seemed...I don't know but they just didn't add up to me...but I know how you hate fame and all so I-"

"Would be more than happy to help you," Harry said with a large grin as his friend looked at him in shock, "What? It is within the Christmas spirit to do this sort of thing and this might get people stop thinking that I will suddenly turn into the next Dark Lord plus I know you Ron, you're only doing it for the right reasons...unlike several other companies I know of."

"You mean it?" Ron asked with hope and excitement shining in his eyes, "Because I have an idea that will go pass selling Christmas Cards! We could go into business together and-"

"How about we talk this over a nice cup of hot chocolate and were certain people can't over hear us?" Harry suggested with a soft smile, this Christmas was turning out to be something special.

"Yeah! Great idea mate!" Ron said suddenly as he grabbed Harry's arm and started to drag his friend towards the Gryffindor Tower, "We don't want anyone to steal our plans!"

As Harry allowed Ron to drag him through the hallways towards their dorms Ron never realised that he had just given Harry what he wanted for Christmas. To see Ron happy and smiling for the first time since the final battle.
