Tommy gave us the order to prepare for the battle. Rocky and Aisha took Adam to show him where he could put his things while Billy went to run scans on the Zords one last time. Tommy and I were our make shift bedroom when Billy knocked on the door. I looked up from my place by the bathroom as Tommy let him in. "Hey, Billy." I called out, pulling my hair up in a pony tail.

"Hello. Kimberly, would you be able to assist me in the medical bay? I need to run some more tests on Zach's samples from this morning and I require some assistance." He asked. I looked at him confused until I realized he was lying. He shot a quick glance at Tommy, telling me all I needed to know. He needed a bio-scan of me. With everything going on, we hadn't completed this yet.

"Sure." Turning to Tommy, I gave him a quick kiss on the cheek. "I'll be right back. Don't run off to battle without me."

"You guys need anymore help? I can lend a hand." Tommy offered. Billy shifted uncomfortably next to me. He hated lying, especially to Tommy. He was our leader and it was everything Billy was against. I shook my head.

"I think we'll be fine." I responded for Billy who nodded quickly. Turning, I pulled Billy after me as I walked up the hallway. Once our door closed, I sighed. "Not too smooth, Billy."

"My sincere apologizes. I required to complete this scan before we head off on our mission. I need to monitor your injuries incase they increase in severity."

"I know." I wasn't looking forward to this. I knew what the bio-scan would show. It would tell Billy that my spine had taken more damage and that I would probably be a fool running off into battle in this condition. That for sure, I would end up paralyzed after a good swift kick from a putty. None of that mattered though. I couldn't just quit and leave everyone down a Ranger. They wouldn't be able to use the Megazord correctly then.

Entering the medical bay, Billy pointed at the exam table. He locked the door behind us as I climbed up there. He walked over to the computer next to me and pressed some buttons. The scanning mechanism lowered from the ceiling and a beam of red light lit up from it. It combed over my body repeatedly, making sure not to leave an inch of it untouched. Though it was painless, I couldn't wait for it to be over. I rather my bad news be quick than slowly dragged out. "You're complete." Billy said, the ray of light disappearing. Sitting up, I hopped off the table and walked over to stand by him. On the large screens behind him, the outline of my body appeared. He entered my name and more information about me from my previous scan appeared.

"Well?" I asked, holding my breath. Billy didn't say anything as he compared the two images next to one another. I couldn't make much out of it, my lack of medical training obvious. I could tell where my spine was and the metal pins stuck out in pure white compared to the dark color of my bones.

"Your injury hasn't gotten worse." Billy muttered, squinting at the image. "But, there's something I don't understand."

"What?"

"Do you see this mark?" Billy walked over to the screen and pointed at a light pink line that was about three inches in length along my belly button.

"Isn't that where Tommy stabbed me?" I responded. He nodded, stroking his chin.

"Affirmative. I used non-traceable sutures to repair the wound. This shouldn't be here. For some reason, it is. And, it's giving off its own power source."

"Its own power source?" I repeated, feeling baffled. I glanced down at my stomach and raised my shirt. I didn't see anything special about it. There was only a faint scar there. That's it.

"Incredible." Billy said softy, staring at the screen some more. "It seems as if when Tommy's weapon entered your body, the morphing grid somehow sealed it with your pink powers."

"Is that safe?" I whispered, glancing at Billy who nodded.

"I theorize so. The power of the morphing grid hasn't harmed you yet. It could be what is keeping your spine injury from getting worse. I want to keep an eye on this but I think you are okay to fight." A feeling of relief hit me and I smiled. I'll take a freaky pink light inside of me over not being able to walk any day.

"That's great, Billy. We should get heading back to the others." Billy turned to face me, nodding in agreeance. He turned the computer image off, saving my bio scan to look at later. I walked over towards the door to wait for him.

"KIMBERLY!" Billy's voice screamed from behind me. I spun on my heel, looking to see what was wrong. The medical bay was dimly lit now, it changing from just moments ago. Taking a fighting stance, I held my arms up as I looked for Billy. He was nowhere to be seen.

"Billy? Billy!" I called out, walking slowly and cautiously throughout the room. He wasn't there, dark shadows casting everywhere from the security lights that provided the only source of light. Where had he gone? He was just here a few seconds ago. "Billy!" I yelled again, hoping he would answer me.

"Kim!" A voice called out behind me from up the hallway. It sounded like Aisha this time, fear in her voice. I took off running, entering the almost completely dark hall. Raising my wrist, I brought my communicator to my mouth.

"Tommy?" I whispered into it. The communicator beeped three times and then nothing. I tried again. No answer. I continued forward, hoping to run into someone. Everything was dark and cold creeped into my skin, making me shiver. Were we under attack? Had Rosita managed to send someone here somehow? No one could get in without a Power Coin. Of course, we had just a week ago. Was this some kind of trick she was playing to toy with us? "Hello?" I called out, trying my best to not give off the notion I was scared. My heart pounded in my chest.

Taking a right, I found myself in the hangar where the Zords were kept. This was also dark, the sun not piercing through the solar panels from above like usual. The giant metal mechs were positioned in their places, my zord laying like a gentle giant in it's shelving unit above the rest of them. There was no one here, silence filling the empty void. It was unnerving how quiet it was, the sound of a pin dropping probably would sound like a rock concert at this point. I went back into the Command Center, heading for the control room.

With only the auxiliary power on, the only things that were on were the emergency controls and the tubes that connected to Zordon's hub. I entered slowly, hoping to see him or Alpha here. Zordon was gone but Alpha was near the controls, his head unit missing from the rest of his body. I let out a light gasp when I saw him, feeling sorry for the robot. Billy would be able to fix him, I thought, trying to remain calm. That's what he does and that's what he'll do. I just needed to find anyone to figure out what the hell was going on.

"KIM!" Rocky's voice screamed, pain etched into each syllable as it echoed off the walls around me. I couldn't tell where it was coming from. It seemed to circle around me. Where was everyone? They couldn't have just vanished? I could hear them! Why couldn't I find them?

"Help us, Kimberly!" Adam's shaky voice followed. He sounded weak and labored. Reaching behind me, I went for my morpher. It was gone. Fear gripped my heart tighter. It had been there when I had went with Billy. Had it fallen off while I was doing my bio-scan or when I was running to help?

"Where are you?" I called out, spinning around the room. There was no reply. Just silence. The cold was almost bitter now, my hands aching from it. My teeth chattered and I swore I could see my breath. This wasn't good. I was along and my friends were in danger. I needed to get to Tommy. He would know what to do. Turning, I walked towards the door that led to the training rooms. It was shut though. I pushed on it, trying to make it open. It wouldn't move. I ran to the next door and it was locked as well. Panic raised in my chest as I ran to all of the doors. They were all locked, not moving an inch as I rammed into them. I was trapped in the control room. Running back into the middle of the room, I looked up at the tube where Zordon should be. "Zordon! Zordon!" I yelled, hoping for him to appear. Light flickered in the tube and his head appeared dimly.

"Kimberly, what have you done?" He asked, looking down at me. "You've betrayed the Power Rangers. You've betrayed Earth." His voice boomed, making the entire room shudder.

"What are you saying? I haven't done anything!" I called back. His image flickered, appearing like an old movie reel with a shaky connection. "Zordon, someone is here! They attacked the Command Center."

"You did, Kimberly. You did this." A hot and sharp pain seared across my abdomen, feeling like it was being ripped into pieces. I let out a gasp, clawing at my shirt to see what was wrong. My skin near my belly button was glowing pink, the area where Billy had showed me in the medical bay radiating with the bright light. It was hot, my skin feeling like it was burning me alive. I fell to my knees, clutching my stomach. Sweat poured down my face and tears mixed in. I wanted this pain to stop. It was excruciating and nausea rippled over me in waves.

"Someone help!" I screamed, praying someone was there to hear me. "Tommy! Tommy! Please help me!" My voice wailed, sobs coming from my chest.

"Kimmy, Kimmy, Kimmy." A voice chuckled in the room. Looking up, I saw no one was there. I struggled to pull myself to my feet, using the computer to brace myself. The pain was still there and it made my vision blurry. Blinking, I tried to focus on the space in front of me. Someone was laying there, not moving. Shaking my head, I looked again and saw it was Billy. His eyes were wide open, his face pale. Blood was smeared on his clothes as a large wound across his chest gaped open. I knew he was dead without even stepping closer to him. I covered my mouth with my hand, suppressing the scream that hid behind my lips. Another body appeared next to Billy. Aisha. Her expression was like Billy's, her eyes wide and empty of life. Her throat was sliced, blood oozing from it.

"No, no, no." I whispered, taking a step towards them. Adam and Rocky's bodies appeared next, both of them sliced and stabbed in the torso. Blood was beginning to pool on the ground under the bodies, seeping across the floor towards me. How was this possible? Who had managed to get in here and kill them all? Where was Tommy? I begged in my mind for him to be safe. I needed to find him now. The pain stopped me from walking though, it almost crippling.

"Kimmy, Kimmy, Kimmy." The voice cackled again, making the hair on the back of my neck stand up.

"Who are you?!" I screamed, trying to look around the dark room. Zordon was still dimly lit in his energy tube, his gaze harsh towards me. "Zordon! Who did this? Where's Tommy? You have to help me!"

"You did this, Kimberly." Zordon replied.

"No! Someone else did!" I exclaimed. What did he mean I did this? Couldn't he see that I was trying to find them? How could I have possibly done this?

"Kim." Tommy's voice said behind me. Relief flooded my chest as I turned to face him. He looked grim, blood smeared on his clothing. He didn't seem hurt though.

"Tommy! What's going on? What happened?" Pain made me gasp, reminding me of the pink light in my belly. "Ah, fuck." I whispered, grimacing.

"How could you do this?" Tommy said, his gaze on me feeling like fire. "They were your friends. Your team mates. How could you slaughter them like this, Kimberly?"

"Tommy, I couldn't have done this!" I said, trying to reason with him. "I was looking for everyone and I couldn't find them. Why would you think I did this?"

"Look at yourself." He waved his hand at me. Looking down, I was met with the horrible site of blood all over my clothes. My hands and arms were covered as well, feeling sticky. It looked like I had rolled around in the pool of it that was increasing on the floor. The pain in my belly disappeared.

"No! I don't understand. I didn't do this." I said, shaking my head. Tears streamed down my face, making everything blurry. "You have to believe me, Tommy." Reaching out, I gripped the front of his t-shirts in my bloody hands. I buried my face into my arms, sobs shaking my whole body.

"Yes, you did." Tommy said, a gurgle coming from his lips above my head. Looking up, I saw blood drip from the corner of his mouth. To my surprise, my hands were wrapped around the Dragon Dagger hilt which was plunged into Tommy's chest.

"TOMMY!"
