Okay guys, so my last update was kind of a mess, with all of the words being all messed up in how they got ported. My phone decided to be an ass and mess it all up but this time I'm going to try it a different way so hopefully things work out better than they did before!

Let's jump right into the "action" so to speak!

Naruto and Sasuke had been talking for a few hours, Sasuke commonly commenting on the fact that some of Naruto's ideas just would not work. Naruto of course replying with the fact that they worked for him so they must be infallable. Sasuke deepened his scowl and continue listening intently after every comment.

The sun had begun to set, to the surprise and dismay of both parties, and they went their seperate ways. Naruto by way of turning into a flash of orangish-yellow light, and Sasuke by his usual exit of the window. Sasuke hopped onto the roof of the apartment, looking at the village as he stood. Naruto had given him some actually useful information, even if the rest of it was garbage, and he hopped away from the apartments toward the still open shops and restaraunts.

After a while of looking around and buying a few choice items, Sasuke realized just how late it had become and hopped quickly toward Hinata's house, looking through the village as he went. He landed gracefully by the door of her small home and walked up to it, raising his hand to knock. Before he had the chance to he heard a couple of voices inside. One belonging to the woman whom he had come to spend time with, but the other he didn't recognize.

"You can't let him stay here, he's a traitor!" the voice said, clearly talking about Sasuke. He heard the words and felt immediate pain and betrayal. Hinata could be heard dropping dishes angrily in the sink. Dinner had probably just gotten over, which made Sasuke feel even worse. He moved to a position where he could hear better and not get seen if someone left the house.

"He is NOT a traitor Father! He did wrong, and he feels SORRY for it! Just because a child accidentally steals from a store, does not mean they are a theif!" Hinata replied, her usual quietness and shyness gone. Sasuke recoiled a little when he heard that it was Hiashi that she was talking to, but continued listening anyways.

"He is a traitor, and he doesn't deserve any part of this village, ESPECIALLY not with my daughter! I don't care if he pretends he's sorry, or that it was a 'mistake', he still ended the lives of a lot of important people!" Hiashi said just as loud, walking toward the door. "He had better not come back here if he knows what's good for him!" He said, clearly not wanting a rebuttal as he opened the door and left quickly, slamming it behind him. Sasuke stayed perfectly still, knowing being seen in this position would cause even more problems.

Sasuke really didn't care if people, Hiashi especially, were mad at him but he didn't want Hinata to be put under more hot water than she already was. After Hiashi had left and Sasuke was sure he would not see him going in, he went back to the door and knocked gently. Hinata moved to the door quickly, opening it and looking at Sasuke with sad eyes. She tried her best to put on a happy face, but her eyes betrayed her sadness, as well as the fact she had just been crying.

"Sasuke-kun, I'm happy you're here!" She said gently, trying to sound excited. Sasuke looked at her, trying to remain stoic, but his eyes also betraying the sadness he felt.

"I'm sorry for coming so late, did I miss dinner?" He asked, trying not to act as though he had heard her conversation with her father. Hinata shook her head, moving to let him in. At the table there were two plates, both of them set and food in the kitchen still smelled heated. She must have just finished making dinner, not eating it.

"Did you see my father on your way in?" She asked, walking over to the kitchen and serving the both of them food. Sasuke sighed, shaking his head. He decided he didn't want to lie to her, it would be a bad start to something he hoped would turn into a relationship.

"No I didn't see him, however I got here a little bit ago and heard what you two were talking about..." He said quietly, looking at the floor as he sat down to eat. Hinata froze, looking at Sasuke apologetically. She didn't say anything more and put the dinner dish back in the kitchen, sitting down at the table across from him, where she had set her food.

"I'm sorry Sasuke-kun, I didn't mean for you to hear that, and I don't think he is right in any capacity..." She said, trying to sound as if she didn't feel sad by the fact that the meaning of her father's warning wasn't as bad as it was. Sasuke shrugged, pretending as though it didn't matter, but not speaking any more on the matter. They ate their food in silence, Hinata looking at him periodically but he remained stoic, looking at his meal.

After they had both finished their meals, Hinata stood and took the dishes to the kitchen, where she started cleaning them almost immediately. Sasuke stood up, walking into the kitchen and to the sink, reaching in front of her and taking the dishwashing materials from her. "I don't want to stay anywhere for free, so I'll do this, okay?" He said gently, smiling at her slightly. She looked at him agape, wondering when he had become so chivalrous.

"O-okay.." She replied meekly, watching as he started cleaning the dishes they had used. Hinata went to picking up the ingredients she had used to prepare the meal, putting them away quickly. When she was finished she turned around to find Sasuke had already finished all of the dishes and was looking at her closely.

"I.. I got you, a gift..." He said quietly, looking at the floor and blushing slightly. Sasuke didn't blush, how was this happening? Hinata wasn't sure how she wanted to take all of this information, Sasuke was acting incredibly weird, but at the same time she really liked this side of him. Before she had a chance to say anything, Sasuke pulled a small box out of his pocket, putting it out toward her and opening it slowly.

Inside of the small box was a necklace, the chain a shiny silver, and in the middle of it was a small purple-grey crystal, carved into it was the general design of a sharingan. Sasuke had spent quite a bit of money on the small gift, and engraved the design himself. Considering how little time he had spent, and the tool he had used being a kunai infused with lightning, it was a very clean cut job. Hinata gasped at the small peice of jewellery, putting her hand over her mouth.

"I know you probably shouldn't wear it, considering your family's view of me, but I saw the necklace and thought of your eyes..." He said, his blush deepening. Hinata's heart beat even harder as the words came out of his mouth, tears welling up in her eyes. Sasuke saw the tears and immediately started panicking. "No, wait! The gift isn't supposed to make you cry! Naruto never said anything about crying!" He said quickly, closing the box and putting it back in his pocket. Hinata shook her head, stepping toward him.

"The necklace is beatiful, I wasn't crying out of sadness, I'm crying because no one has ever done anything like that for me before. If you are okay with it, I'd really like to wear it..." She muttered, reaching toward him. Sasuke nodded, but walked around her hand and put his hand on her waist, turning her to face away from him.

"I'll help you," he said quietly, his hand lingering on her waist for a second before pulling the necklace around her neck and latching it on. He put his hand back on her waist, turning her back to face him. The necklace hung fairly decently on her neck, falling slightly into the valley between her breasts. Sasuke noticed this and immediately looked away, feeling as though looking too closely was rude.

"Is there something wrong? Does it not look good on me?" Hinata asked, feeling insecure because of Sasuke looking away from her like that. Sasuke looked into her eyes quickly, not wanting her to feel bad because of his actions.

"No it looks great, I promise." He said, his head swimming in different feelings. Sasuke wasn't used to any of the feelings he was having. Hinata looked back at him, noticing his change in mood. She stepped closer to him, wrapping her arms around his neck and hugging him tight.

"Thank you, Sasuke-kun..." She said quietly. Sasuke wrapped his arms tight around her. Maybe Naruto's advice wasn't just for imbeciles after all.

Naruto sat at the foot of Sakura's bed, waiting patiently for her to come back from taking a shower. He wasn't looking to do anything in particular, but he really enjoyed being in her company. He inspected the ceiling and walls as he waited, wondering if he could convice her to get some posters or something, the walls were bland.

"Naruto what are you doing?" Sakura asked as she walked into the room, noticing Naruto staring intently at a wall. Naruto jumped, looking in her direction and noting the pajamas she was wearing were less bland than her walls.

"Nothing, just waiting." He said plainly, smiling at her. She chuckled, walking over to him and wrapping her arms around him, pushing him onto the bed the rest of the way, laying against him.

"You know I love you, right?" She asked him sweetly, kissing his cheek gently. Naruto smiled dumbly, the simple sentence still driving his heart wild.

"Yes of course Sakura-chan." He replied, wrapping his arms around her as well. She chuckled lightly against him, sighing heavily.

"That's good, because you're an idiot." She said, smiling as his jaw hit the floor. He started to move to say something but before he could open his mouth they both heard a loud explosion coming from outside. In the general direction of the Hokage's office. Naruto and Sakura both jumped to their feet, before Naruto disappeared in a flash of light. He was standing in the Hokage office, and there was a giant hole in the ceiling, Tsunade wasn't there, and on the desk was a simple note.

"If you want your Hokage back, you have to kill the Uchiha."
