Faulty Treasure Detector
Sparrow Spider (Dog)
The trip from Oakfield back to the Hero's Guild had been going well. Least in Sparrows' mind. She had pushed countless bandits and Hobbes off cliffs, or tying their corpes to trees or pinning them to abandoned building. And the one thing that made it all even better was hearing her best friend bark and dig at the ground.
"What is it boy? What'cha find?" The golden mutt barked again, eager to share his discovery with his master. Trotting to her companions side, Sparrow glanced around the clearing for the treasure she was sure was waiting for her. With a happy wag of his tail, Spider spun around and pointed... at nothing?
Frowning, Sparrow lookedfrom her treasure dtector to the empty space he was pointing at.
"Uh, Spider. There's nothing there." Whinning, the dog continued topoint eagerly. Confused, the Heroin walked in a circut around the offending area before calling themutt to her. "Comeon boy, let's go."
Once she was sure the dog was following her, she continued down the path towards Bower Lake. Why Theresa could magically teleport her to the Hero's Guild like she did for Hammer was beyond the blond Heroin. She was most likely punishing the Heroin for someting. But what, Sparrow didn't know. She stopped when her treasure detector went off again. Maybe she'd get her damm treasure thid time... or not.
Five more bizarre failures later, and Sparrow had enough.
"Okay Spider, I see what you're playing at, but t'ing is, there's nothing there!" All she got as an response were the doleful puppy eyes Spider had prefectedlong beofre either had meet. Which was why Sparrow was immune to them. "Oh no. Don't ya give me that look. I've said it once, and I'll say it again. Lay off the spirits. They're messing with your head!" Sparrow pointed towards the visiable Gyspie Camp, more so at the caravan that sells alchol. "Don't go near there!"
Spider watched as his master walked away, whinning pleadingly. Now how was he supose to gett his drink on?
