Weiss and I – Soft Sand
"WOOOOHOOOOO! Finally!"
Yang and Ruby hollered as they ran towards the coastline, leaving the rest of us to carry the equipment. Stepping onto the beach, the warm golden sand running between my toes made my entire body tingle and elicited a sigh of comfort. Blake was quick to run pass me and plant the beach umbrella and lay down the mat.
"Yang did a great job of finding us this secluded spot on the beach."
I commented as I sat down beside Weiss on the sheet of multi-coloured straw and plastic. I looked around the sector of shoreline we had procured. Along the sides were large stone walls that towered upwards and stone archways carved out by the ocean currents. The noise from crowds of people that have gathered some ways up from where we were had since vanished and all that filled the air was the crashing of the waves and the chirps of the seagulls.
"Why don't the two of you get changed? I'll just wait for you to come back."
Blake pointed to the direction of the changing rooms before fishing out a book from her bag. Nodding, we both stood up and walked towards the changing rooms. Weiss was very much dressed to match her social stature, with a simple light blue dress and a rather elaborate lace hat. As we walked side-by-side on the paved walkway en route to the changing room my arm slowly reached around her hip and I pulled her into me such that my arm could firmly wrap around her. She seemed to enjoy the affection as she softly smiled at the ground. Growing slightly bolder I landed a soft peck on Weiss's cheek, making her cheeks redden up despite the heat. I eventually made my way down lower to her neck and peppered it with loving kisses.
"Hey,"
Weiss spoke up, lightly pushing my head away.
"Not now alright? Not when we're in public."
With a slightly disappointed grimace I obliged and looked back to the front.
As our feet shuffled along the sandy stone tiling I continued to admire Weiss's outfit: The brim of the hat just enough to shield her light blue eyes which only seemed to be brought out even more by the shade. The knee-length dress which waved with every step she took gave her an almost childlike innocence, especially given her slightly smaller-than-usual build.
"Did I say something? Why're you looking at me like that?"
Weiss's question broke me away from my thoughts.
"Oh, No, it's just….you look really pretty in that dress."
I softly complimented her. With a blush and an embarrassed smile she lowered her head.
"T-Thanks."
"Say…"
I began, moving slightly closer to her side.
"The others really took the whole 'we're together' thing pretty well."
I figured that since it was only a few days ago that we had revealed the 'big secret' about our relationship to the rest of her team following the whole Jaune and Pyrrha debacle , it would be good to check if she had suspected that her teammates already knew long beforehand of our emotional ventures .
"Really? Cause I've had it up to here with them teasing about us."
Her agitated reaction to the constant mischievous comments from the others was a sign that she didn't see through them. And as much as I agreed with Weiss, I had to let them off for at least putting on the act of being surprised.
"I don't know. I've kinda gotten used to it."
"Of course you would. I on the other hand don't need to take such nonsense."
"Yeah exacl- Hey wait a minutes, what do you mean 'of course I would.'?"
"Nothing…"
And just like that Weiss sealed up her lips turned her head away. Timing seemed to be on her side as we just so happen to reach the changing rooms.
After changing into my trunks I waited outside for Weiss. It didn't take long for her to walk into my view. My eyes immediately locked onto the beauty that I have the absolute privilege of calling my girlfriend as she walked up to me nervously. It was a jaw-droppingly gorgeous two-piece bikini, cream white with dark blue accents and held together by perfectly tied up lace, her hair had been tied up with a small band, far less elaborate than her usual tiara.
"Wow, you look amazing."
Weiss didn't reply and just went up to hug my arm and began pulling me back to the beach, a light blush on her cheeks.
Walking back, the heiress constantly fidgeted about, her body turning in a bid to hide herself behind me. Slightly amused by how uncomfortable she was I cajoled her to my side.
"I-it's a bit…."
She nervously began.
"Revealing…."
Slightly chuckling at her perplexing lack of confidence in a midst of her more often, showboaty persona I said.
"I thought you like to show off, now seems like a pretty good opportunity to do so."
"Well….."
She wasn't really sure how to reply. With a smirk I lean closer to her and whisper.
"Besides, I've seen you wear way less than this."
Before I even got the chance to snicker she put a furiously excruciating pinch on my cheek, making me winch in pain.
"One more peep out of you…."
I didn't wish to hear the rest of that sentence.
"Alright, alright, sorry."
Safe to say I kept my mouth very shut the whole way back.
Reaching the mat Weiss and I did a quick scan around the area and noticed a distinct lack of the two boisterous sisters. Blake was, as expected far more content with just a cool breeze and a good book.
"Wonder where Ruby and Yang wen-."
My sentence was cut short by a beach ball impacting the side of my head followed closely by the cheeky chuckles of the girls. Weiss rolled her eyes and sat down beside Blake, quietly lying down underneath the multi-coloured umbrella. Me, bent entirely on revenge quickly clutched onto the ball and ran towards the Ruby and Yang. We spent most of the afternoon enjoying ourselves in the unhindered sunlight and fresh sea breeze. With the little free time we had from Beacon it was great we were making full use of it. With the usual threat of being ripped in half by a Grimm replaced with the threat of getting sunburnt it was strangely calming.
Collapsing exhausted on the beach I heaved heavily while Ruby and Yang quickly followed after. Running her hand through her sweat-soaked hair Yang bent over beside me, sifting through her bag.
"Hey, any of you know where the water is?"
Yang asked out loud, still searching through her belongings. I turn my head to look at her.
"It should be right over here…"
Unintentionally, my sight had drifted to Yang's breasts which were millimetres from my face, her mounds swaying ever so slightly as she rummaged through the bag. Blushing intensely I quickly darted my eyes away praying that no one else caught me. Unfortunately it became immediately apparent to me that my little peek did not go unnoticed by Weiss. With a humph and a growl she stood up and angrily stormed off down the shoreline. Realizing my colossal mistake I scrabbled to my feet.
"Weiss! Weiss! I'm sorry it was an…"
Before I could finish Weiss was out of earshot.
"Accident…"
I stood there for several seconds as Weiss stormed further and further down the beach. Ruby snapped her fingers in front of my face and gestured to Weiss's direction and shouts.
"Hello? Don't just stand here go after her!"
I quickly sprinted towards Weiss, the soft sand making it particularly difficult to catch up to her. Reaching Weiss she let out a huff and continued stomping away from me.
"You're unbelievable!"
She harshly scolded, her face contorting in fury.
"It was an accident Weiss."
"An accident. Right."
Weiss bitterly stated, clearly not willing to accept my apology and for good reason. Deciding that words weren't going to cut it I wrap my arms around her from behind and snuggled myself into her neck. She struggled to shake me off of her but I didn't let up.
"If you're so interested in Yang's…things…..why don't you just-."
Before she finished I twirl her around and pressed my lips against her. Having successfully grabbed her attention I say.
"Weiss, listen to me. I'm really sorry, it was a total accident. I love you, you know that. And you know, for a fact, that I would never do that on purpose."
I was able to calm her down a little but Weiss was still clearly bitter and what I did, a small frown still on her face. In a bid to eliminate that, I grab hold of her arm and began leading her towards the hill behind the beach, much to Weiss's bewilderment.
"Where are you taking me?"
"The sun's going down, I think I know a place we could watch."
I brought Weiss up the hill and across it. We walked for several minutes until I caught sight of a point where one of the broad stone structures that expended out to the sea met the side of the hill. Carefully, we walked onto the top of the wall and paced up to the very edge. Sitting down in a comfortable spot we looked took a second to look around.
Along the side of the beach below was a tremendous stretch of multi-coloured beach mats and umbrellas, the sea breaching the shoreline in powerful surges, leaving darkened sand in their wake. Overhead soared gulls and other flocks of birds, dancing in the slowly reddening sky.
Weiss took in a deep breath to soak in the fresh ocean winds as it gently wrapped around her body, playfully waving her snowy hair about.
As we turn our attention back to the sea in front of us, we witness the Sun, in all its radiance slowly sink into the horizon. The yellow sphere turned into an amazing ball of orange and red, its light piercing a straight path of gold along the water. The sky's violet veil coming overhead, the clouds glowed a feint pink as the Sun retreated behind the ocean.
With a sigh Weiss put her weight against me and snuggled tightly up to my arm.
"Hey."
I said, dispersing the sound of the waves gliding onto the sand.
"If you're tired you can just lean against me, I don't mind."
Weiss looked up at me, slightly flushed by what I said.
"I'm not tired. I…. wanna ask you a question."
"What is it?"
"W-Which…part of me do you find….pretty."
The hesitation and awkwardness in her question caught me off guard; it wasn't something I'd ever expect from Weiss.
"Weiss, if this is about just now….."
"No, it's not that….I just want to know."
Slightly blushing I took a second before saying.
"I mean, you give me a lot to work with. What part of you do I not find beautiful?"
My response only made her cheeks redden even more, mimicking the lightshow of the oranges and yellows warping along the waves and bathing us in colour.
"Your eyes, your hair, your voice, your personality ….your scar."
At the mention of the scar she lifted her head back up in surprise.
"My scar?"
She lifted her hand up to glide her finger over the vertical mark over her eye.
"Well, I know it comes from something you don't want to think about and I won't talk about it but…"
I cup her cheek in my hand, running my thumb gently over the cut, feeling it's roughness against her otherwise silky smooth skin.
"I think it really shows a lot about you. It shows you're strong, independent, hardened…things you've been trained to have."
My hand fell from her cheek and I went and took her hand in mine.
"But it also that you aren't cold, hard stone. You can be vulnerable ….sweet on the inside, you don't always show it but…that just makes it better when you do, doesn't it?"
I pull her into a kiss, she very passionately obliged, her hand reaching around my head to tug at my hair. Pushing against me, she forces me onto my back as she lies down right on top of me. Closing my eyes, my joints loosen as our tongues continue to dance together, our hands racing up and down each other's bodies.
Finally, our lips parted and Weiss opens her gorgeous blue eyes, they shone with nothing but affection as she looked down at me, a soft, elegant smile gracing her features. I couldn't help but smile back. Suddenly, at the corner of her icy orbs were the small beads of tears forming. Worried, I asked.
"What's the matter? I-If it's something I did or said I'm so sorry, I wasn't-."
Instead of giving an answer she drops herself onto me and cuddles my lovingly, lightly kissing the side of my neck.
"You talk too much."
A.N: Now alot of stuff to get through about my future ventures on the fic, if you aren't interested feel free to stop. I mean the end is right ^ so yeah.
Update and other sorts of things: First of all I would like to thank everyone for the reviews, favorites, follows and views, its so awesome to have people enjoy the end-product of my hobby.
Now, a number of people are asking about other fics with the same ' Reader's POV as nameless protagonist ' with other girls and the answer to that is. Maybe next year, I actually have a Yang one in the works but currently I am putting larger fics on standstill for now with important real life stuff in the way. So as for now I'm working on current fics and in short burst and even that is stopping entirely in Q3 of the year.
Other than that anyone who wishes to ask me to beta for them I'm afraid I cant do that either because I simply dont have the time. I'm writing my fics on my phone now for crying out loud. So yeah sorry to anyone who wants me to beta for them I'm going to have to decline :(
Final Thing! I may consider doing One-Shots that take place prior to the events in Weiss and I, a prequel of sorts and I already have an idea for the first of these, several prequels. This doesn't mean I'll stop doing the ones after but I will flip between the two and I will definitely have it stated at in the title regarding its time frame. So guys tell me y'all think about it and any other questions you want answered in the reviews and of course, Fav and Follow. Cheers.
